Adele is featured on the cover of Elle Canada announced by Vaughn lowery of 360 MAGAZINE

ADELE × ELLE

KO Média is excited to unveil the September issue of ELLE Canada, featuring British singer-songwriter Adele. The multi-Grammy-award-winning star finally opens up about the difficult decision to cancel her Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. “The first couple of months were really, really hard,” she says. The star dives into how she went into hiding after the dramatic cancellation announcement on Instagram, her reasons for doing so and how the last-minute decision actually “made [her] confidence in [herself] grow because it was a very brave thing to do.” During the intimate interview at her home in July, only weeks out from her half-decade-long stage break, Adele spoke about the incredible arrangement she and her former partner have when it comes to co-parenting their son and even gushed about being madly in love—and joked about being unmarried (for now)—with her new man, sports agent Rich Paul. But it wasn’t all lighthearted. The singer went into detail about enduring the lowest points of her career, feeling lonely, experiencing anxiety attacks and finding herself again through fitness and kickboxing. Now Adele is on her way back to Las Vegas, and the response has been better than she could have imagined.

With the strongest of the summer season’s rays behind us, it’s time to stock up on hydrating foundations and skin-perfecting serums to help restore our skin after all the sand and sun we indulged in. For readers trying to hold on to the warmth for as long as possible, we take a look at Barcelona’s hottest spots, highlighting where to stay, what to eat and where the best shopping is in the Catalan city. And nothing says endless summer like the fresh, romantic scent of roses, which are the highlight of Lancôme’s French estate and its timeless perfume line.

Looking ahead, our biggest trend reports have the scoop on what you’ll want to wear and how you’ll want to style your hair and do your makeup for the fall season. And with the inevitable return (at least in part) to the office, the baggy, flowy, oversized power suit—inspired by the likes of Yves Saint Laurent, Martin Margiela and Yohji Yamamoto—has made its way from the runways into our closets. Work attire has finally shifted from tight and structured-tight to loose and comfortable—think Zendaya in Valentino’s latest ad campaign. Just add this season’s neon liner, bold lips and big accessories, and “What should I wear to work?” will seldom be a question in the morning. However, heading back to the office doesn’t come without a shift in work-life balance. Val Desjardins, our new health and wellness contributor, explains her holistic approach to adopting new habits and pursuing daily pleasure, making the transition to a new normal a breeze.

This issue also focuses on female empowerment. We spoke to multi-Juno-winning R&B artist Savannah Ré about her new album as well as bestselling author Lisa Taddeo about how she helps readers grapple with feelings of loneliness and grief. We also have advice for Canadian women on how to ask for a raise or promotion—and get it too—and we chatted with actor Myha’la Herrold about feeling bold, confident and empowered in her career. But empowerment isn’t only career-focused; non-binary and transgender people are starting to feel more empowered through their hair. New salons are ditching the old-school binary haircuts and opting for more inclusive services, allowing everyone to express themselves through their hair.

On the fashion front, up-and-coming South African designer Lukhanyo Mdingi is creating a legacy through his designs and using the skills of local people to create his brand’s blueprint. And we take a closer, more critical look at the well-intentioned trend of donating clothing. What we discovered is that a large majority of these pieces end up in the oceans, on beaches and in landfills in other countries, like Ghana. This piece makes us rethink the Instagram trend of having a different outfit for every post, the ethics of fast-fashion companies like Shein and how we can reduce our carbon footprint when it comes to our closets.

Bugatti Rimac Illustration by Reb Czukoski for use by 360 Magazine

Bugatti × Rimac Partnership

Rimac Automobili officially joins forces with Bugatti Automobiles under the recently announced, Bugatti Rimac d.o.o. The new company sees two motor vehicle powerhouses generate an exciting movement in the automotive and technology industries, originally initiated and strongly supported by the sports car manufacturer Porsche AG.

Rimac’s short but rich 10-year history from garage start-up by one man, Mate Rimac, took a big leap forward to begin official operating under Bugatti Rimac as of November 1st.

The Rimac Group is the major shareholder in Bugatti Rimac with a 55% stake. Mate Rimac will retain his shareholding in Rimac Group at 35%, with Porsche at 22%, Hyundai Motor Group doing the same at 11%, and other investors making up 32%. The development, production, and supply of battery systems, drivetrains, and other EV components that Rimac is known for and trusted by, will be separated into a new entity, Rimac Technology, that is 100% owned by the Rimac Group.

Bugatti Rimac has the unique combination of two automotive and technological trailblazers. Rimac’s distinctive agility, technical expertise, and relentless innovation in the EV sphere, along with Bugatti’s 110-year heritage of design and engineering of some of the world’s most iconic hypercars, are now combined in the leading hypercar company. Porsche plays a strong role in the joint company as a strategic partner. Along with two managers, the Stuttgart based sports car manufacturer appointed two Supervisory Board members, Oliver Blume and Lutz Meschke.

Mate Rimac’s leadership and strategic direction that has allowed Rimac to become an industry frontrunner means he is exceptionally skilled to lead the company as Chief Executive Officer. As CEO of Rimac Group, he runs both Bugatti Rimac and the new division, Rimac Technology.

Bugatti Rimac’s global headquarters is situated at Rimac’s current base on the outskirts of Zagreb, Croatia, but in time will transition to the recently announced €200M and 200.000m2 Rimac Campus, also serving as the home of Rimac Technology. With construction having now begun, joint research and development of future Rimac Automobili and Bugatti hypercars will ultimately take place there, with projected opening in 2023.

High-tech innovation forms the basis of the state-of-the-art facility, with the capacity to host 2,500 curiosity-driven people and a hive of groundbreaking developments. Bugatti Rimac operates with 435 employees as part of the new company, 300 of headquartered in Zagreb and 135 in Molsheim, France. In addition,180 people at Bugatti Engineering’s location in Wolfsburg, Germany, are supporting the new company. Rimac Technology consists of over 900 employees whilst the Rimac Group tackles over 1,300 employees across its various locations.

Bugatti Rimac’s new Board of Management has determined Christophe Piochon as Chief Operating Officer. He formerly held the position of Director General at Bugatti Automobiles and guarantees the continuation of the manufactory with its worldwide outstanding quality. Larissa Fleischer became Chief Financial Officer, previously being the head of controlling at Porsche in the areas of digitalization and the development of new business models. Lastly, Emilio Scervo is named Chief Technology Officer, having held the same title before at Rimac Automobili.

Rimac Automobili and Bugatti Automobiles will each continue to operate as separate brands and manufacturers, retaining their individual production facilities respectively, as well as the distribution channels. Rimac Technology will continue to innovate, developing vehicle systems and technologies for many global OEMs.

Commenting on the first day of Bugatti Rimac operations, CEO Mate Rimac says, “I am honored to be leading this new fusion of automotive minds and begin what will no doubt be a successful, revolutionary and exciting new chapter for everyone involved. I am also extremely curious to oversee the profound impact Bugatti Rimac will have on the industry, and I look forward to developing innovative new hypercars and technologies.”

He also claims that “[it’s] difficult to find a better match than Rimac and Bugatti. What each party brings to the table in terms of technical expertise, know-how and automotive history makes for an electrifying recipe. Rimac’s fast-paced operations and electrification skills are the perfect complement to Bugatti’s exceptional heritage and craftsmanship. Stay tuned for some truly extraordinary projects in the future.”

“I am convinced that we have found the right mix of experience and know-how, innovative strength and team spirit for the management,” says Lutz Meschke, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board and member of the board for Finance and IT at Porsche AG. “That’s why I’m very optimistic and because the project is very close to my heart, I will continue to accompany it closely and passionately in the future.”

Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Board of Management at Porsche, named this merger as “the perfect solution” for everyone involved, “Together, we are creating a high-performance automotive company. We have succeeded in positioning the traditional Bugatti brand with its charisma for the future in a way that creates value. Bugatti embodies fascination and passion, and Rimac has great innovative strength and tech expertise.”

2021 BREAKOUT ARTIST MORRAY

2021 BREAKOUT ARTIST MORRAY SIGNS TO INTERSCOPE RECORDS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MOE SHALIZI’S PICK SIX RECORDS

Morray’s Hit Single “Quicksand” Surpasses 50 Million Views on YouTube “Big Decisions” And “Switched Up” Continue His Harmonic Rise

The wins continue in 2021 for North Carolina’s Morray. After achieving a stunning rise in notoriety thanks to his hit single “Quicksand,” the artist has officially signed to Interscope through music executive Moe Shalizi and his Pick Six label.

“Morray is an undeniable talent with an infectious energy,” says Interscope Geffen A&M CEO, John Janick. “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Moe & his incredible team at Pick Six for what’s to come.”  Morray shares the same excitement noting, “It’s just so dope to be on a winning team with pic six and to add a powerhouse like interscope to the mix is just an amazing blessing.” Moe Shalizi adds, “There was so much synergy between our side and interscope that it just felt right, we are really excited to be working with John Janick and the rest of the team”

Since breaking through rap’s ceiling with the harmonious “Quicksand” in October 2020, Morray gained fans from all over hip-hop including Drake, fellow Fayetteville icon J. Cole and North Carolina native Da Baby. He also received a nod from Jay-Z when “Quicksand” was added to Jay’s “2020 Vision Under COVID-19” playlist. “We are very impressed with what Morray & Pick Six have been able to accomplish over the last year and are thrilled to be their partners on this journey,” expresses Nicole Wyskoarko, EVP/Co-Head of A&R at Interscope Geffen A&M.

Soon after “Quicksand,” he released a series of four songs that fleshed out his complex backstory. On “Switched Up” and “Low Key,” he reflects his hardened past. On “Dreamland,” he remembers an impoverished childhood defined by crashing at motels and friends’ houses (“some carpet ‘cause it’s better than the pavement”) and holidays and birthdays gone by with no gifts. On “Big Decisions,” his first release of 2021, he ruminates on his responsibilities as a breadwinner for his family and a role model for his community.

Morray has found a significant audience on YouTube in particular—each song was released alongside a music video that eclipsed one million views within a matter of days. Born Morae Ruffin, Morray made his public singing debut at age 4, when his mother and grandmother called on him in church to bless the congregation with a rendition of his favorite song, “I Believe I Can Fly.” He would later serve as the lead singer of his church choir. He’s worked nearly every job imaginable just to make ends meet—from fast food to construction, calling centers and even driving uber until he found his voice in music. Through his honest and vivid storytelling and emotional recordings he began the process of creating his songbook that included “Quicksand.” The first time I heard Quicksand I knew Morray was a global superstar in the making,” says Baroline, VP of A&R at Interscope. “I’m excited for the world to get to know him and hear what he’s been working on.”

His songs are as honest as they are catchy. And though he’s become a hometown hero in Fayetteville, the deep sense of struggle he evokes in his music gives it a universal appeal. “I’m speaking for every person that has real emotions,” he said. “I’m speaking to everyone that has a heart. Every song that you hear from me is a real feeling. I want people to cry with me. I want people to grow with me. I want people to understand where we’ve come from, and that we can always make it out of everything.”

BRAVO x SERHANT

BRAVO MEDIA CLOSES THE DEAL IN NEW SERIES “SELL IT LIKE SERHANT” PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11 AT 10PM ET/PT

‘MILLION DOLLAR LISTING’ STAR RYAN SERHANT PUTS HIS SALES SKILLS TO THE ULTIMATE TEST

Bravo Media is stepping up its sales game with top New York City realtor Ryan Serhant in the new docu-series “Sell It Like Serhant,” premiering Wednesday, April 11 at 10pm ET/PT. It doesn’t matter what you’re selling – if you know your client and your product, a good salesperson can sell anything to anyone, and no one exemplifies this better than Ryan Serhant, the leader of one of the top real estate teams in the United States. In this new series, Ryan answers the call of struggling salespeople across multiple industries who are on the brink of losing their jobs and are desperate for his expertise. With some tough love and humor, Ryan will give underperforming employees a head-to-toe business overhaul and turn them into sales machines.

In each episode, Ryan takes a deep dive into each protégé’s world, using every trick in the book to become their bootcamp instructor, friend, teacher and even customer, to help them reach their full potential. Ryan goes all in, often hilariously so, as he learns the ropes of different industries that are somewhat foreign to a “Million Dollar” broker – from learning to sell services in a waxing salon, to learning the world of high stakes hot tub sales, he will push his students, and himself, to the limit. As he tries their products and tests their sales skills, he gets to the root of what’s troubling each salesperson, breaking them down and building them back up with expert knowledge and newfound confidence. Ultimately, employees will be put to the test each week when he or she will showcase their new skills in full view of their bosses and hopefully prove they can “Sell it Like Serhant.”

Meet Ryan Serhant

Ryan Serhant’s first day in the real estate business was on September 15, 2008, the day Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy in the wake of the subprime mortgage collapse. While the real estate sector has slowly recovered, Serhant has become one of the most successful brokers in the world, with agents under his leadership in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and the Hamptons. Ryan is known to audiences all over the world as one of the stars of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing: New York. Serhant is recognized as a real estate powerhouse. His team at Nest Seekers International sold just under $1B in real estate in 2017 and consistently ranks in the top five real estate teams nationwide in the Wall Street Journal Real Trends annual review, with Serhant consistently the youngest team leader in the top ten. As a real estate expert he is a frequent contributor to CNN, CNBC, The Today Show and Bloomberg TV, and is often quoted in The New York Times, Forbes, and the Wall Street Journal. He is the real estate correspondent for Daily Mail TV, a nationally syndicated television show and he recently launched his own vlog. Serhant is an active supporter of nonprofit organizations including DKMS, Operation Smile, Save the Children, Make a Wish, the Human Rights Campaign, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, Pink Agenda and UNICEF, among others. After graduating Hamilton College in 2006 with twin degrees in English literature and theatre, Serhant headed to New York City to pursue an acting career before becoming a successful real estate broker. He currently lives in New York City with his wife Emilia.

“Sell It Like Serhant” is produced by World of Wonder with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell and Danielle King serving as Executive Producers along with Ryan Serhant and Rob Bola as Co-Executive Producers.

Esoterik × James Crooks

ESOTERIK & JAMES CROOKS

‘BE LIKE YOU’ FT. ASTA (MUSHROOM)

Esoterik and James Crooks have teamed up to present ‘Be Like You’, a collaborative effort between the two friends, whose similar taste in both music and humour has delivered a song that is honest, raw and undeniably catchy. As one-third of hip-hop powerhouse Bliss N Eso, Esoterik (aka Eso) has become one of the most recognisable voices and loved personalities in contemporary Australian music.

After he kicked a decade-long heavy drinking habit while on tour overseas, Esoterik is the birth of a clear vision, an animal-like drive. The energy which he once burned elsewhere is now funnelled into a positive outlet for a man with a lot to say
