Each Circle V Ranch Camp session is six days and five nights of traditional supervised summer fun for boys and girls ages 7 to 13. Campers enjoy activities including archery, arts & crafts, hiking, swimming in the pool, learning about nature, reading skills, painting, photography, playing baseball, basketball, ping pong, foosball, soccer, miniature golf and of course, campfires, skits and singing. There is no TV, radio or internet access to affect the experience. Campers stay in wood cabins or traditional canvas tents. Three nutritious daily meals served family-style in the Dining Lodge are not only for food but also for camaraderie and fellowship.
In summer 2016, the camp hosted more than 1,000 children for this time-honored experience. The Legendary Pop-Up Culinary Event, Hosted Annually by over 70 Cities Worldwide,
Celebrates its 6th Edition in the City of Chicago.
CHICAGO – A leading summer event in Paris for nearly 30 years, this secret event is well on its way to becoming the summer foodie tradition in Chicago as well. On Thursday, August 24, 2017, Le Dîner en Blanc – Chicago will descend on an undisclosed, stunning public space in our city to revel in Chicago’s burgeoning food and wine scene as the most unique picnic experience in the city and the world.
Each summer hundreds of thousands of people in cities around the world set out for an elegant soirée dressed all in white with their table and chairs, gourmet picnic and place setting for two in celebration of their city, friendship and a magical night under the stars. The evening begins as participants converge at their selected meeting point prior to the main event. From there, they are led by a Dîner en Blanc – Chicago volunteer to an iconic outdoor destination. With the city as a backdrop, guests enjoy music, entertainment, dancing, and new friends throughout the evening. More than 3,000 attended the sold-out 2016 event, and over 3,500 guests are expected to participate in the 2017 edition of Le Dîner en Blanc – Chicago.

- Wine and/or Champagne. Beer and hard liquor are prohibited.
- Per venue, City of Chicago and state laws/regulations/ordinances, guests are not allowed to bring their own alcohol. Guests wishing to enjoy wine or Champagne must reserve a voucher through the e-store. Non-alcoholic beverages welcome.
- The location is a secret. Guests meet at their selected departure point and are escorted by a Dîner en Blanc – Chicago volunteer to the secret event site.
- At the end of the evening, guests are required to take all of their belongings, leftovers and garbage, leaving the secret location as pristine as they found out.
Guests must bring:
- One table, two white chairs, white tablecloth, and white cloth napkins.
- A picnic basket with food, proper stemware and white dinnerware.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
CAPE CANAVERAL (June 28, 2017) – KENNEDY SPACE CENTER – A car trip on I-95 this July and August might bring with it more than just the usual sights. Passers-by could be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of an extraterrestrial convoy, as a massive Mars rover concept vehicle, commissioned by Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, makes it way on a custom-trailer up and down the East Coast for tour stops in select cities. The vehicle will make its first stop in Atlanta for a three-day stay at the Sun Trust Stadium beginning July 14, and will then make its way to Washington, D.C., Jersey City, and New York City, returning to Cape Canaveral in late-August.
A highlight of the Summer of Mars campaign at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, the Mars rover was designed as a traveling exhibit to inspire the public about space exploration and interplanetary travel. The 5,500-pound, nearly 11-foot tall rover will be on display at the visitor complex through the end of June, at which point it will begin its East Coast tour.
“At Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, we create immersive space experiences for our guests,” said Therrin Protze, chief operating officer, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. “The Mars rover will give guests a front row seat to NASA’s Journey to Mars and bring the future of space exploration to life for the generation that will first step foot on Mars, as they see and learn what it will take to travel the landscape of the Red Planet.”
In addition to the Mars rover, the free Summer of Mars Experience will include interactive games that allow consumers to learn about plant life and habitats on Mars, virtual reality which will transport visitors to the Red Planet, periodic pump rocket launches, photo opportunities, premium giveaways and more.
