New Reebok BB 4000 II sneaker release via 360 MAGAZINE.

REEBOK BB 4000 II

Today, in honor of the official re-launch of its iconic BB 4000 II heritage court shoe, Reebok has announced a two-day “Vintage Shop” pop-up celebration, February 10 and 11, 12:00pm – 6:00pm EST, from 484 Broome St, N.Y., NY 10013 (aka 57-59 Wooster). The event, open to consumers, will bring together NYC’s best in vintage sportswear, offering attendees exclusive access to custom products, rare vintage pieces, panel discussions, retro games, and more. Reebok’s SS23 BB 4000 II ($90) collection, featuring four new seasonal colorways and its first women’s-specific model, drops February 1 from Reebok.com and select retailers.

Throughout the two-day “Vintage Shop” event, paying homage to sport-style history, Reebok will platform vintage sportswear shops Select Vintage and Grand Street Local, providing attendees the opportunity to peruse and purchase rare Reebok items from years past, hand-picked exclusively for the event. As a special gift, consumers will receive a pair of BB 4000 II sneakers with every vintage purchase.

Additionally, LAST ONE LEFT, a concept brand changing the way consumers view second-hand garments, will be on-site offering on-demand screen printing for consumers to transform their garments into true 1-of-1 pieces. The event will also offer sounds from local emcees DJ Mil-house and DJ 9AM.

Those interested in attending the Reebok “Vintage Shop” can RSVP at ReebokBB.splashthat.com.

Soft-launched in fall ’22, Reebok’s BB 4000 II is a transcendent lifestyle basketball sneaker first introduced by the brand in the late ‘80s. The model championed Reebok’s disruptive “BB” footwear range, which – through its irreverent product designs and ad campaigns – would inject new energy into basketball culture in that era, helping to bridge the gap between hardwood and concrete.

For SS23, BB 4000 II tips off the year with a range of premium designs including two varsity jacket-inspired “Letterman” colorways (IG4790, IG4791) and the model’s first women’s-specific executions, “Natural Suedes” (IF4730, IF4731), with all four offering a strong textural mix of premium suede and leather. Fitting for any modern wardrobe or lifestyle (at an accessible price point), the renewed BB 4000 II brings subtle value adds and an elevated construction to the highly wearable silhouette, including Reebok side-stripe and cross-check branding, a unique split Union Jack tongue logo nodding 80’s brand heritage, an EVA rubber midsole, and a durable outsole featuring classic basketball tooling.

Reebok’s SS23 BB 4000 II ($90) range is available February 1 from Reebok.com, with select colorways landing in-store from HibbettJourneys, and Snipes, and more. Consumers can anticipate the launch of new BB 4000 II colorways and archival stories throughout 2023

Detroit native and IMG Model Ebony Riley releases new EP via 360 MAGAZINE.

Ebony Riley

The R&B game has its next big thing in Ebony Riley. With her new EP, ebony, out today via Interscope Records, the Detroit native makes her case as one of the genre’s most thrilling prospects and adds her name to the long list of stars reared in the Motor City. In just seven songs, Ebony, previously known as “Riley Montana,” delivers an unforgettable project that blends the flavor of today’s R&B sounds with her charming mix of sass, sensuality and sensitivity. Whether its charged flirtation over an upbeat ’80s sample, cussing out a soon-to-be-ex lover out, or mediating on that eternal question – “Why me?” – ebony runs a range of emotions and is sure to have listeners reaching for the replay button. “I just want people to feel heard and understood when they listen to my music,” Ebony says. “I want to take people on a journey.” Join that journey and listen to the full ebony EP HERE.

Focus track “Deuce Deuce” sets the tone. On the song, she flips what could be a sad post-cheating revelation on its head, instead rewriting the typical narrative to come out on top. The kiss-off track comes complete with its official music video, featuring a cameo appearance from Lori Harvey. Watch the full “Deuce Deuce” video HERE. Further highlights include contributions from a who’s who of proven R&B hitmakers, including GRAMMY winner James Fauntleroy (“Why”), and GRAMMY nominees Shea Taylor, who produced four of the EP’s songs, Muni Long and Jeff Gitty (“Draws”).

A nine-year veteran of the modeling industry, Ebony Riley has graced the catwalk for top fashion houses and appeared in exclusive editorial spreads, including Vogue France and Harper’s Bazaar. But, the millennial covergirl notes, “Music was always on the menu.” Thanks to her mother and grandmother, Ebony had an early musical education in gospel and ‘90s R&B, and traces of such influences – The Clark Sisters, Mary J. Blige, Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu – exist in her own music. “I draw from all of them in my work,” the singer makes clear.

To celebrate the EP’s release and Ebony’s achievements, Interscope and Lenny S hosted exclusive listenings in New York and Los Angeles for partners and tastemakers to rousing reception. East Coast attendees included Drake, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Meek Mill, A$AP Ferg, and more, while Kelly Rowland, Coco Jones, The Internet’s Syd, Lori Harvey, Muni Long, Jozzi and others graced the LA festivities. If there was any doubt about Ebony’s appeal, all questions were answered when guests heard the EP and watched the “Deuce Deuce video.” The verdict? The crowd screaming, “run it back!!”

Marthe Vangman via 360 Magazine

Marthe Vangman

Marthe Vangman is an entertainment industry noisemaker that has managed talent across several verticals at a global scale. 360 Magazine first spotted Marthe when she built out a music event series with the company Studiotime, where Vangman managed all their musical talent relations and produced the events. The series grew to be known as Studiotime Sessions and was a massive success in Los Angeles featuring iconic studios like The Village. Studiotime founder Michael Williams and Vangman decided to take Studiotime Sessions international, which is where she discovered the gap in talent collaborations between her home country of Scandinavia and the United States.

Shortly after, the trailblazer started working with Invisible Narratives, an entertainment company founded by Adam Goodman and Michael Bay, where she would run the talent projects. Vangman has managed projects with talent such as Deadmau5, Emma Norton, BWA Jack, Tatyana Joseph, Jian Hao Tan, etc. along with the talent for the award winning streaming show “Pride Eve” and assisted with talent for HBO Max’s “Camp Friends”.

Due to her international background, Vangman has been able to get a broad insight into how brands and influencers collaborate in both the US and Scandinavia, and how different the two countries operate business-wise. Sweden, Norway and Denmark, are trend-based countries with small populations. There’s a few core influencers that have a cult following in each region, and they are the ones that start the trends that everyone then follows. In the US, it’s a bit different because influencers usually are not able to influence a whole population, instead they have their niche audiences that follow them because they share the same interest or simply for entertainment.

By understanding the different audiences, Vangman saw an opportunity to start building a bridge between the two worlds, so that influencers and brands could collaborate easier and expand beyond their borders.

Vangman explains, “The benefits for brands to expand in Scandinavia is that you can get acknowledgement really fast if you collaborate with the right influencers, meaning the ones that are highly respected by the main public and the ones that start the trends. And the benefits for brands to expand in the US is that they can target really niche audiences that would become consumers of their brand through the right influencers. This doesn’t only apply to influencers and brands, it also applies to musicians and other creators. For musicians, if you collaborate with the biggest Scandinavian influencers and get them to use your music in their TikTok or vlogs, you can become viral pretty fast.”

Most recently, Marthe also started working with Gustaf Toresson, a Swedish entrepreneur, media profile and board member of Forbes 30 under 30 in Europe. Here she’s helping Gustaf launch a podcast that will feature successful creators and entrepreneurs that share intimate life stories. She will be working with Gustaf to secure talent and manage all guest relations. Gary Vee, Matilda Djerf, Lucy Edwards and ZHC are just a few of the names that will be a part of the podcast series.

Gonçalo Santana releases Brainless via 360 MAGAZINE.

Gonçalo Santana – Brainless

‘Brainless is a poignant piece of prose. Each single is thoughtfully conceived and evokes emotions. The future of this Swiss crooner is bright.’360

Gonçalo Santana is a singer, songwriter, and producer based in Switzerland. Heavily influenced by his family, Gonçalo discovered his passion for music at an early age. Thanks to his father, also a singer, Gonçalo was exposed to a variety of distinguished artists. Like Prince, Luther Vandross, Bruce Springsteen, and Stevie Wonder. He began to write his first verses at the age of Eleven on the napkins and notebooks of boredom. In the end, some songs were even recorded by him and in a more professional manner by his father. Over the years, Gonçalo sought refuge to express himself through words that led to the songs.

In November 2021 Gonçalo released Empty Poetry. Produced by Portugal’s singer and producer Macaia. After taking the time to release new music, Gonçalo Santana released his second single called Verity in 2022, which exceeded 20,000 feeds on Spotify alone. An R&B-inspired song from the early 2000s. On January 27th, Gonçalo Santana finally released its first EP, Brainless.

About Brainless

Brainless came to life when Gonçalo Santana was in a place of vulnerability. Each song represents a mark in time for him, where he felt the need to express himself in order to get it out of his head. Almost every song from Brainless comes from a personal experience. Musically, Gonçalo felt the need to go back in time and resurrect a genre of music that didn’t get much attention in our current times. That’s when he teamed up with the Portuguese music producer Macaia and created 6 songs heavily inspired in the old school R&B and Gospel music.

PLANET OF THE APES

This April, Eisner-winning writer David F. Walker (Luke CageBitter Root) joins forces with artist Dave Wachter (Iron Fist: Heart of the DragonStar Wars: The High Republic – Trail of Shadows) in Marvel’s highly-anticipated new PLANET OF THE APES comic series! The all-new ongoing series will continue the thought-provoking and thrilling conflict over which species will dominate Earth.

This new era of apes kicks off with part 1 of “Devolution.” The ALZ-113 virus has rampaged across planet Earth, and humanity is crumbling. While well-meaning researchers hunt for a cure, a fanatical group of humans has their own solution: kill all apes. Peacekeeper Juliana Tobon is one of the few willing to stand against them, but the crisis is spreading, and soon apes will witness the true depths of human cruelty…

“Not only is PLANET OF THE APES my favorite film franchise, it was my favorite series of comics from Marvel when I was a kid,” Walker said. “Both the films and the comics ignited my imagination and helped me fall in love with the art of storytelling. To be part of Marvel’s return to the PLANET OF THE APES is more than an honor, it is a childhood dream come true.”

Earlier this year, Marvel Comics proudly announced that the PLANET OF THE APES franchise would be returning to Marvel with all-new stories, collections, and an exciting variant cover program. Marvel Comics and PLANET OF THE APES have a deep history that goes back over 40 years. Marvel first published PLANET OF THE APES stories in 1974, and in 1975, Marvel published ADVENTURES ON THE PLANET OF THE APES, full-color adaptations of the iconic Planet of the Apes films. The legendary science fiction franchise has spanned over five decades with media including comics, books, films, television series, video games, and toys and Marvel is thrilled to explore the storytelling limits of this groundbreaking saga once again!

Reebok, HP, and and Botter 3d printed sneakers for PFW via 360 MAGAZINE.

Reebok × Botter

Reebok x Botter Concept Sneaker Engineered by HP Serves as a Sign of Innovation to Come

Coming out of Paris Fashion Week, Reebok, HP and the New Guards Group revealed a new concept sneaker with luxury brand, Botter that debuted on the runway at its FW23 presentation.

Fusing the ethos of both brands, the Reebok x Botter concept sneaker combines Botter’s love and commitment to the ocean through the unique look of a Murex seashell, an object that in legend, was used by the Greek Goddess Venus to comb her hair, with an iconic vintage Reebok football silhouette, a style that Botter is famed for reinventing with its Botter “Banker” that debuted in 2017.

The unusual and unique new form encapsulating the core shoe has been created and engineered with the HP 3D Printing team based in Barcelona using a technology called HP Multi Jet Fusion. Once printed, the gray sneakers were then hand-painted to complement the Caribbean Sea tones featured throughout Botter’s FW23 collection.

The end result is not just an innovative luxury piece, but a sustainable alternative to traditional sneaker production. The HP Multi Jet Fusion is a function created to reinvent design and manufacturing by unlocking the full potential of 3D printing and exploring techniques that are more energy efficient and sustainable. The process revolves around having no waste, uses a material called TPU that is highly-reusable once recycled, and is nimble enough to make products post-sale that can solve excessive production.

“HP has built a team of footwear industry specialists, under the lead of Don Albert, a 25-year footwear veteran. This team has developed an end-to-end solution to help large and small footwear companies in fashion and performance to reach their goals using HP Multi Jet Fusion Technology,” shared François Minec, Global Head of Polymers at HP Personalization & 3D Printing. “We enable new levels of design freedom, fast and agile product development, and a more sustainable local manufacturing process. This collaboration with Reebok and Botter is a perfect introduction of the HP solution to the footwear world.”

Speaking to the multi-brand collaboration, Nathan Jobe, Head of Footwear at NGG++ commented, “NGG and Reebok have a rich history in Street and Fashion culture.
