LaJune‘s single, YA, is the sequel to Go Girl off the EP MIND. Her innovative yet transformative project is reminiscent of Timbaland. With all senses engaged, the bass bleeds into a melodic husky hook. Both artistic expression and lyrical content exhibit intellect along with wisdom.

Overall visuals depict a socially aware person dealing with internal strife. In fact, in one setting, her character exudes extreme self-regulation while witnessing brutality against marginalized communities by police.

MIND was released at the top of 2022. Months later, LaJune announced a second video, What You Got, showcasing cinematography by Shaleek Tukes and direction by Ameer Copper

The highlight of the night saw Vanessa Nakate, on behalf of a group of young leaders, honor U.N. Secretary General António Guterres as The Sage, inacknowledgement of his courage, clarity of message and unwavering work on environmental and social justice.

Accepting the award on behalf of the United Nations, Guterres paid direct tribute to the young leaders’ steadfast work saying: ‘Together our efforts are making a difference.  We need a quantum leap in action to put an end to the fossil fuel age, and save ourselves, and our planet, from the worst of climate chaos. So, let’s keep fighting, keep speaking the truth, keep creating change, and keep up the pressure.  You can count on me.  And I am counting on you.”

HALL Napa Valley, an independent family-owned Cabernet Sauvignon producer, has announced plans to be the Title Sponsor for the Cabernet Cookoff set to return on Saturday, April 13 at HALL St. Helena. The annual event, presented by The Coeur Foundation, will feature an impressive lineup of renowned culinary teams vying for a chance to win proceeds for a charity of their choice by participating in a food and wine pairing competition. Ticket proceeds benefit non-profit organizations as selected by the winning chef teams. The Cabernet Cookoff includes two ticket options; a VIP Ticket granting access to a pre-event wine tasting experience from 11:00a.m. to 12:00 p.m., as well as a Main Event Ticket that takes place from 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

“Being the title sponsor for this event brings me so much joy,” says Vintner Kathryn Hall. “Bringing together foodies and wine lovers – like myself – by way of a competitive food and wine pairing competition helps expand our commitment to supporting the community and its many diverse organizations. Chef teams are tasked with creating a small dish that pairs best with HALL Jack’s Masterpiece Cabernet Sauvignon, a highly rated wine that has earned praise from the wine industry’s top critics. The 2024 Cabernet Cookoff also coincides with the public release of the 2021 vintage of the Jack’s masterpiece wine. Guests in attendance will sample 14 different dishes and sip on the featured wine while voting for the People’s Choice Winners.

At the historic plant on Viale Ciro Menotti, the company’s Leadership Team will work closely with an agile, expert, and focused Maserati Engineering Team – consisting of roughly 130 professional engineers and technicians – that will be fully developing the current and future range. The team will be operating in strong connection with the Engine Lab (where the full-electric powertrains are developed and tested) and will contribute to steering the brand to a higher luxury positioning. This strong team will jointly build the future of the Trident and will take the iconic Brand to new heights, as it deserves.

Maserati is part of the Stellantis “Dare Forward 2030” strategic plan announced on 1 March 2022, as a fully-fledged segment of its overall organization matrix. All new Maserati models will adopt electric powertrains, to bring great innovation and high performance, both typical of Maserati’s DNA: 2024 is a crucial milestone year for the company’s evolution and growth, especially amidst the challenges and changes faced by luxury brands within the global automotive business sector.

Today the full-electric range includes also the Grecale Folgore, Maserati’s first full-electric SUV. By 2025, all Maserati models will also be available in a full-electric version, and the entire Maserati range will run on electricity alone by 2028.
