Just in time to heat up summer playlists, emerging singer/rapper/songwriter Ryan Trey dropped the smooth single “Only Us,” with Detroit standout Babyface Ray and its official music video today. In the video, Ryan asserts his dedication to his girl from initial sparks of romance at a daytime group hangout to Ryan and his lady on a solo adventure as he charms her with his witty lyrics and unique flow. The video’s homegrown, natural aspect shines as it flips between shots seemingly from home movies like with budding relationship. Babyface Ray slides in like a seasoned wingman, detailing his own POV in his verse to assist Ryan’s setup. The video was directed by Mac Grant, who has also helmed clips for JID, 21 Savage, YFN Lucci, EARTHGANG and Rapsody. Watch “Only Us” HERE.

“Only Us” sustains the building momentum for Ryan Trey, which began with the titillating video for “Slide.” In that video, directed by Joshua Valle, Ryan seeks an escape after a fallout with his girlfriend and ventures to the strip club with his boys. There, a bodacious dancer catches his eye and lures him to the bar, and, despite his girlfriend’s pleas via text, Ryan gets a private dance and remains at the club for the night. A drunken Ryan finds himself in a daze, thinking he sees his girlfriend at the club when in reality, it’s the dancer who caught his attention. Watch “Slide” HERE.

“Slide” appears on Ryan’s breakthrough release, A 64 East Saga. The 14-track EP houses a collaboration with Bryson Tiller, and the production from a slew of heavyweights, including Boi1da, Vinylz, Jahaan Sweet, OG Parker, Rob Halladay and Albert Lee, allows Ryan’s dulcet vocals and steely wordplay to thrive. The project garnered positive reviews from publications such as Billboard, which billed him a “threatening combo artist within the independent circuit.” Thanks to the project, Ryan has soared to over 120 million streams in the U.S. alone.

Beyond the music world, Ryan continues to up his brand in the fashion game. Earlier this year, BAPE and Reebok announced their new collaboration on the sneaker’s Club C and Instapump Fury featuring #JUSTAREGULARDAYS Bryson Tiller, Nia Sultana, and Ryan Trey.

Shenseea × 21 Savage

Shenseea released the official music video for her hit track: “R U That” featuring Atlanta rapper 21 Savage. Directed as a casting call, Shenseea is seen in vignettes of themed rooms auditioning men while in head-to-toe jewel-toned looks. “R U That” is currently on radio rotation at the #25 spot on mainstream R&B/Hip Hop and appears on Shenseea’s album ALPHA—which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Reggae album charts. Shenseea is one of Jamaica’s brightest dancehall acts cosigned by some of music’s biggest luminaries including Cardi B, Rihanna, Ye, Christina Aguilera, Drake and beyond including her most recent collaborators Megan Thee Stallion and 21 Savage. The road towards ALPHA has been a legendary one for Shenseea who has been crowned Apple‘s “Up Next” artist, MTV‘s “Push” artist as well as iHeart Radio‘s “On The Verge” artist. In 2021, she was tapped by Kanye West to add her rap and vocal stylings to two different songs on the now Grammy-nominated DONDA (“Ok Ok Pt 2” and “Pure Souls”) and played her first-ever U.S. festival with Rolling Loud Miami and New York. With her talents in songwriting, performing and directing, Shenseea is set to be one of the year’s breakout acts to watch.

About Shenseea

Shenseea has ascended through Jamaica’s dancehall ranks to become one of the genre’s most sought-after artists. She broke through the scene with her viral single “Loodi” feat. Vybez Kartel; the following year, Shenseea toured Europe with dancehall superstar Sean Paul. In 2019, Shenseea signed with Interscope Records (under Rick Immigrants Records) and released her first label single “Blessed” featuring Tyga (now with over 57M views on Youtube). The track which came with a music video was praised by the likes of Hypebeast, FADER, PAPER Magazine, VIBE and more; it quickly racked up over 1,000,000 views overnight. Role Model – Rx

Role Model (a.k.a. Tucker Pillsbury) released his debut album, Rx. He also unveiled the music video for the title track. The album comes fresh off the heels of Role Model‘s latest single, “neverletyougo.” Its video racked up over 1.7M views (Click HERE.) His previous single “if jesus saves, she’s my type” amassed over 1.5M streams in its first week (Click HERE). Rx is an extremely dynamic body of work. Within it exists an underlying message about the power of a woman. Elements of religion, sex and love layer throughout. Find Role Model’s debut album at all digital retail providers via Interscope Records

Role Model says about the album, “In the simplest terms, the album is about the power of a woman and how it healed me the past couple years. As much as it’s telling a story, it also shows the crazy shift in my life. A woman saved me and brought me out of a hole. Lyrically, I wanted to put her on a pedestal, like a higher power.”

The Music Video

The music video for “rx” presents an emotional, performance-based visual. It takes place during a long, lonely drive with a vulnerable Tucker at the wheel. As Tucker drives, the song builds as do his emotions, becoming especially triggered with each chorus. Towards the end of the song, the video cuts to a new frame revealing a girl has been sitting next to him in the car the entire time.

Role Model says about the music video, “I wrote the video to be as simple as it possibly could be. The focus should be on the lyrics and the emotion involved. I think the two frames sum it up perfectly.” In addition, Role Model announced his first-ever “TOURx 2022” World Tour. This is the artist’s most massive tour to date, as he will be performing at larger venues across the U.S., and he will be taking his incredible show overseas to the U.K. and Europe for the first time.

Previously announced shows in the U.K. and Europe have been upgraded to larger venues for which tickets initially purchased will be valid for the new venues. Several new U.K. and European dates have been announced as well. Role Model‘s “TOURx 2022” World Tour will also include festivals such as Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Hangout Music Fest, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and more. Tickets are on-sale now and can be purchased HERE.

NO1-NOAH and Summer Walker via 360 MAGAZINE

Singer/Songwriter NO1-NOAH (Ghetto Earth Records/Interscope Records) kicks off his next era with the release of his new single, “Bonjour,” with his label head, R&B superstar Summer Walker. The melodic slow jam showcases the New York native at his best, blending effortlessly between layers of enticing sensuality, raw vulnerability and self-assured confidence. Summer, of course, brings the trademark honeyed vocals that fueled her to billions of career streams and multiple Billboard records in the last year. “Bonjour” previews NO1-NOAH’s forthcoming EP, You Should Come Over, which will be released on April 22.

Listen HERE.

After displaying beams of promise on Walker’s sizzling anthems, NO1-NOAH inked a deal with her label Ghetto Earth Records in December 2020. Her first artist, NO1 looks to rattle the cages of R&B with his emo-leaning tracks and sticky hooks. His debut record, “Ridin For My Love,” flaunted his pillowy vocals and gutsy lyrics, the follow-up “Bounce” presented a seductive side, and his melodic muscles were on full display with his anthemic banger “Thank God.” Not only did the records demonstrate his versatility and ease at mastering a range of sounds and styles, they also skyrocketed the newcomer to more than 130 million streams in the U.S. alone. The budding star has also been on the road for “The Summer Walker Series” concerts. Most recently in Houston and Chicago and will next visit Dallas on April 16.

The promising songwriter was named one of Billboard’s 15 Hip-Hop & R&B Artists to Watch in 2020. Touted for his “ethereal vocals and intrepid lyricism,” NO1 first caused shockwaves in the R&B world when he appeared on Summer Walker’s EP Life on Earth on the standout tracks “SWV” and “White Tee.” With publications such as Rolling Stone and XXL already praising NO1-NOAH for his extraordinary talents, “Bonjour” and You Should Come Over herald the coming of a full-fledged star.
