Fast forward from her humble breakout to 2019 when Billie’s album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S as well as 17 additional countries and was the most streamed album of the year.  WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? was written, produced and recorded entirely by Billie Eilish and brother Finneas in their childhood home in Los Angeles. Billie Eilish went on to make history as the youngest artist to receive nominations and win in all the major categories at the 62nd Grammy Awards receiving an award for Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album. Billie Eilish is also the youngest artist to write and record an official James Bond theme song, “No Time To Die.”

ABOUT ROSALÍA

With the May 2018 release of Rosalía’s innovative breakthrough single “Malamente (Cap.1: Augurio)” – and the fall arrival of her landmark album “El Mal Querer,”  fans worldwide quickly embraced Rosalía’s phenomenal vocal capability meshed with her now fully realized fusion of classic Flamenco and other timeless music styles of Spain, with R&B, hip-hop, contemporary Latin-American rhythms and electronic beats. Coupled with Rosalía’s strong influences from industrial visual arts, female empowerment, fashion and choreography, it became clear to critics that: “Rosalía is a complicated genius… El Mal Querer is a boundary-breaking modern masterpiece … that has resonated like a shockwave… it stands out from virtually everything else on the global pop landscape .” Within the subsequent two years, Rosalia has garnered a GRAMMY Award, performance, a first-ever Best New Artist nomination for a Spanish Language artist, and eight Latin Grammys, including Album of the Year, 2 MTV VMA’s, multiple magazine covers, Coachella and Lollapalooza festival appearances, the most watched global YouTube video of 2019 for a female artist, landmark brand partnerships with Nike and MAC’s “Viva Glam” campaign, and “Best Music of the Decade” picks from Rolling Stone, Billboard, GQ, The LA Times, Pitchfork and more… and that’s just the beginning.

LILHUDDY – 21st Century Vampire

Singer, songwriter and brand-new Immersive/Geffen Records signing LILHUDDY (aka Chase Hudson) releases his first official single entitled “21st Century Vampire,” which is out now along with the music video. Fresh off the heels of starring in Machine Gun Kelly’s first-of-its-kind musical film experience Downfalls High, LILHUDDY is making his musical introduction with a signature style cultivated by the raw and restless angst of post-internet era adolescence. His music is a perfect hybrid of pop, punk, and alternative with an underlying message encouraging authenticity and self-acceptance. “21st Century Vampire” serves as a metaphor for the punks and outcasts who need a place to fit in and was co-written by Chase along with Nick Long, Jake Torrey and Andy Selzter. The track is available now at all digital retail providers via Immersive/Geffen Records.

LILHUDDY says, “It’s okay to be different. That’s the message I’m relaying. In a lot of ways, I’m a very misunderstood kid too. People don’t know the whole story or who I really am. I’ve always wanted to be my full self. Music is my way to finally show them.”

The “21st Century Vampire” music video, which was directed by the famed Joseph Kahn, features Chase frozen in youth as a vampire in a modern punk world. Bored, outcasted and unable to connect with anyone, the video follows LILHUDDY as he tries to navigate his lonely immortal life. He eventually finds himself on-stage amongst other fellow misfits, unifying them through a performance of the power punk anthem.

New Music Video for JAWNY – Trigger of Love

Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist JAWNY releases the highly absurdist video for his song “Trigger of Love.”  Directed by Spencer Ford, the visual is an eclectic showcase of the JAWNY’s restless creativity and off-kilter humor, featuring a dystopian room full of extended measuring tape, magical bullet-holes, and kayaking in the Los Angeles River.

“Trigger of Love” is featured on JAWNY’s debut major label project For Abby which released in October on Interscope Records. The undeniably catchy track was one of the standouts from the project, garnering praise from Zane Lowe, who regarded it as “Authentic, heartfelt and meaningful” on Apple Music, Beats1. Watch the video for “Trigger of Love” HERE

For Abby is a conceptual, narrative piece in which JAWNY attempts to rekindle a troubled relationship with ‘Abby’ by giving her a “mixtape” of her favorite songs in hopes that she will eventually call him back. The project, which Dork Magazine noted was stacked with “upbeat, personality-packed songs” in a 4/5 review, starts off on an up-tempo high note with songs like “Super Bad Mantra” (hailed by Wonderland Magazine as “irresistibly catchy”) and the playful “You Gotta Man” on Side A. Upon flipping the tape to Side B, the mood gets significantly more introspective in sentimental & confessional lo-fi ballads like “When I Fall Apart”, “4tounce”, “Coloring” and the superb title track “For Abby”.

The project displays the untamed originality JAWNY first revealed in early releases like his 2019 viral hit “Honeypie.” A “slacker-funk gem”, as referenced by DIY Mag, “Honeypie” has racked up over 175 million streams globally across all streaming platforms and has surpassed 15 million views on YouTube. For  Abby, which was hailed by NME as “packed full of funky slacker rock beats and infectious indie anthems” in a 4-star review, is a stellar collection that showcases JAWNY’s restless creativity and eclectic aesthetic.

Born Jacob Sullenger, JAWNY grew up outside Oakland and started playing guitar when he was just six-years-old. At age 13, he began making beats with his brother, eventually landing placements with several rappers in the SoundCloud scene of the late-aughts. By 2017 he’d gained a cult-like following thanks in part to a series of viral videos posted on Twitter, and drew further buzz in 2018 with a self-titled debut EP made under the stage name Johnny Utah. In 2019, he broadened his fanbase with widely praised singles like “Honeypie” and “4Tounce,” then landed a deal with Interscope Records by the year’s end.

Summer Walker × Interscope Records – Ghetto Earth Records

Platinum-selling award-winning artist Summer Walker (LVRN/Interscope Records) begins her journey as an executive with her new imprint Ghetto Earth Records. The joint venture deal with Interscope Records lands Walker her first signee NO1-NOAH. The talented singer/songwriter recently partnered up with the Over It artist on her Life on Earth EP and together, they shined on “White Tee” and “SWV.”

“I came up with Ghetto Earth because earth is ghetto,” says Walker. “I don’t wanna be controlling over my artist’s music. I want them to be fully involved in everything they put out. I’m just here to support and help them get to wherever it is they’re trying to go in life.”

NO1-NOAH comments, “I’m excited to show people my music, and what I have to offer. I feel like being on Summer’s team, Ghetto Earth Records, is the right home for me to be as creative as possible as an artist. She’s really understanding of what a true artist is, as she is one herself. I’m free to create here and it’s always a great feeling as an artist to be able to make music for a team that gets the sound that you’re trying to create.”

“Summer is a true visionary. She’s writing her own rules as one of the most talented artists in R&B music today and is now adding entrepreneur to her vast repertoire,” says Interscope Records Nicole Wyskoarko, EVP/Co-Head of A&R. “Summer brings an unapologetically outspoken and empowering voice to Ghetto Earth and a radically different and much-needed perspective to developing emerging talent such as NO1-NOAH. We are thrilled that Summer has chosen Interscope as Ghetto Earth’s partner and home.”

SUMMER WALKER’S ACCOMPLISHMENTS

On the artist front, Walker is having an incredible year. After gracing the cover of Billboard Magazine for their R&B / Hip-Hop Power Players issue last month, she starred alongside Erykah Badu for Rolling Stone’s Musicians on Musicians cover. Her win streak continued when she walked away victorious at the Soul Train Music Awards last month, winning Album of the Year for Over It. Her latest feat adds to her growing collection of awards, as she previously netted wins at the iHeartRadio Music Awards for Best New R&B Artist and the Billboard Music Awards for Top R&B Female Artist.

Over It contains the platinum-certified single “Come Thru” and the double-platinum hit “Playing Games.” The latter has spent 20 weeks on the Hot 100. Over It has spent 49 weeks in the top 40 and 56 weeks in the top 50 on the Billboard 200 Album chart. In July, Walker’s EP, Life on Earth, debuted inside the top 10 on the Billboard 200 at No. 8.

Tokyo’s Revenge – nothinglastsforever

Tokyo’s Revenge released a new song titled “nothinglastsforever” — a tribute of hope and consolation written after the passing of a close friend. The video which was released today, directed by JMP, emphasizes Tokyo’s pension for emotional lyricism anchored by the acoustic guitar backing. Taking to his Instagram, Tokyo shares:

“This song… this means the world to me, and nothing on this earth means

more to me than this, I stopped posting and took my time to get in the

right headspace before releasing this, not for you guys, but for me… because

I needed to feel okay before I released it, and as much as this song feels sad,

it isn’t a sad song, it’s hope, it’s love, it’s something for me to hold onto.” — Tokyo’s Revenge.

For new fans of Tokyo, this sound is a departure from his usually high energy and bragadocious singles, however “nothinglastsforever” sees Tokyo experimenting with his vocal abilities and stripped back sounds as heard on previously released EP, MDNGHT (SIDE B), and earlier uploads on Soundcloud. The new track comes off the heels of his recent debut label EP release 7VEN (listen here) which features fan favorite tracks “HELL BENT” featuring Kid Laroi and cinematic treasure, “GOTHAM.” Listen to “nothinglastsforever” above, or via link here: https://smarturl.it/TOKYOnlf

About Tokyo’s Revenge

If you’re unfamiliar with Tokyo’s Revenge, that’s intentional. The multi-disciplinary artist has made a point of keeping himself anonymous, and yet, he is set to be one of the year’s most exciting addition to the music landscape. Tokyo has risen through the charts with viral track “GOODMORNINGTOKYO” which peaked at #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 with more than 43 Million streams, peaked at #2 on Rolling Stone’s Trending 25 chart on the fastest rising songs of the week, peaked at #1 on the Bubbling under Hot 100 Billboard chart and received more than 12.3 million plays on SoundCloud. The track was recently officially certified RIAA Gold. A self-taught musician, Tokyo began rapping at an early age, learning to freestyle at high school amongst various hobbies ranging from art to video games. He recorded his first song with a friend’s equipment, couch-surfing, post-high school graduation and working security guard and pizza shop jobs. Now at the helm of new music and videos, Tokyo’s Revenge is quickly rising in ranks and relishing being the battery pack the music has been missing.
