Dolce & Gabbana SS23

CIAO, KIM

Kim Kardashian is the ultimate muse. Her confidence, independence, sense of style and sensuality have served as inspiration to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in creating this Collection and revisiting their 90s and 00s archives. It is these very same legendary pieces that have inspired Kim so often throughout her own life and career, making this moment a dream come true.

A journey steeped in new meanings through the Dolce&Gabbana archives, discovering the brand’s most authentic DNA: if it is true that fashion moves forward in search of ever-new expressions, when creativity is firmly rooted in its identity it knows how to transcend time and space. Thus, even when it is rethought, repurposed, reinterpreted through the eyes of the present and the consciousness of the past, it retains its most genuine nature while managing to speak to many different generations: everyone will see in it something different in which to recognize themselves.

A universal and inclusive language that gives voice to everyone’s desires and aspirations. Domenico, Stefano and Kim, with a leading role as the Collection’s curator, bring to life the dream of today’s woman, exalting feminine beauty in all its forms and expressions: a state of the soul, the attitude and courage that make every woman unique.

Alicia Gutiérrez – A Model’s Guide

Listen to Alicia Gutiérrez and Vaughn Lowery on 360 MAG Amazon | Spotify | Google | Apple podcast.

“Life is a path,” – Alicia Gutiérrez

Alicia Gutiérrez, Madrid-native,
is a college graduate with a degree in journalism. At 5’5 with brown hair and hazel eyes, this magnificent belle already has her life’s blueprint. Yesterday, we spoke about her success in modeling and moving from Spain to New York City.

Upon booking a major campaign in her homeland, Alicia decided to contact agencies abroad. Making extensive use of her media training, she compiled a spreadsheet of industry professionals, from model agencies to photographers. On Instagram, she searched for make-up artists and fell into a rabbit hole. It was there, she discovered websites like Models.com, validating as well as authenticating all the talents of the industry.

With good posture and immense confidence, regardless of measurements and shortcomings, this body positive person recognizes her manifestations. And dreams, in bringing them forth, will eventually come true. In fact, as a Miley Cyrus fanatic, she recounts a case where she stumbled into the singer’s camp while waiting in line for an activation. Thinking about how she was feeling, she entered into an awareness while she was near them. This occupation of space helped to reveal her fate.

From time to time we’re in contact with somebody who has something we can’t put our finger on, I don’t know what. The same ‘it’ factor led her to be signed by One Management and to work with different brands like Calvin Klein, SKIMS and Milk Makeup.

Inevitably, her star will align with entertainment giants such as Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum and Ashley Graham. In other words, her mind exudes inner compassion, balance and grace. Traits that a lot of people can’t learn or teach – it’s innate. As our conversation continued, it began to shine brighter and brighter, appearing dowey, “Like a glaze donut,” said Alicia.

It’s only a matter of minutes, this infectious energy will quickly burst into the entertainment. After all, she’s already adorned the pages of Vogue España, Elle Mexico, L’Officiel Mexico and covered Glamour Spain.

Balenciaga in Haute Couture week for use by 360 Magazine

THE STARS OF BALENCIAGA

Kim Kardashian, Dua Lipa, Naomi Campbell, Nicole Kidman become the stars of the Balenciaga fashion show

The Haute Couture week, an haute couture parade that transformed celebrities into the best ambassadors of the firm, has made Paris the center of fashion in recent days. This is a great opportunity that brought together the most recognized faces in the sector, and amazed everyone with one of the most surprising Balenciaga fashion shows to date.

Kim Kardashian, the brand’s muse, melted into a striking black dress, the same color Naomi wore, but with a more voluminous design. Dua Lipa dazzled in a yellow one-shoulder dress, while Nicole triumphed in a mopped, long, metallic design.

In this new Balenciaga collection, a common thread between the technological future and the past was seen, where a tribute was made to the work of the house’s founder. “It starts in the future and then sinks into the past, in the Infanta dresses that later became the origin of the house,” said Balenciaga designer and creative director Demna Gvasalia. In this way, they were able to parade through the impressive Balenciaga salons wearing the latest haute couture collection from the house, becoming the protagonists of the event and fashion week in the Parisian city.

These uncovered faces, some of them world-famous, contrasted with the mannequins whose faces the creative director of the ‘Maison’ (French word) wanted to cover. The black enameled polyurethane helmets made by the Mercedes design team made it impossible to identify those who paraded.

These days, we have also enjoyed the designs of other major brands such as ChanelGiorgio Armani, or Christian Dior. Although without hesitation, Balenciaga has overseen shaking up the ‘fashion’ universe at fashion week in Paris.

Kardashian & Barker’s Wedding

They cross the pond for the great celebration!

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker say “I do” for the third time in an idyllic Italian wedding. The couple has walked down the aisle (once again) in front of family and friends, who had traveled from the United States to Europe.

Just days after marrying Barker in a Santa Barbara courthouse, Kourtney said “I do” to the drummer one more time at a lavish ceremony in Italy over the weekend, this time in more traditional bridal attire. After two consecutive days of celebrations since the mediatic family took over the coastal town of Portofino (Italy), an idyllic and dreamlike link has been experienced between the two protagonists.

True to her groundbreaking style, Kourtney wore a tight, strappy short dress from Dolce & Gabbana that she accompanied with an enormous veil, which was embroidered with a huge representation of the Virgin Mary and the words “respect family loyalty” inspired by the tattoo of Travis’s head. The Italian luxury brand shared on Instagram that Kourtney was inspired “by archival Italian lingerie.” She has maintained the tradition of the white color in her bridal look after the doubts that arose this past weekend when seeing her bet on black in her outfits. On the other hand, the musician has not left the classic script and fixed for this type of occasion by wearing a dark tuxedo with a bow tie and a flower on the lapel.

The most emotional moment came when both knelt on sumptuous stools in front of the altar adorned with red roses and the religious figure of a virgin in the background. Scene that was shared by Alabama Luella Barker, one of Barker’s daughters. After the ceremony, the couple and all the guests went to the imposing Castello Brown, the 16th century fortress and house-museum that is located high above the seaport and where the impressive wedding reception took place.

Likewise, the children of the marriage were not lacking, each of their previous relationships. They are 9-year-old Penelope, 7-year-old Reign, and 12-year-old Mason on the bride’s side, as well as 16-year-old Alabama, and 18-year-old Landon on the groom’s side.

It all started last Friday night with a pre-wedding dinner at Ristorante Puny in Portofino and continued on Saturday with lunch, where the bride and groom and their guests arrived on board a boat. Sisters Kim, Kloé, Kendall and Kylie dazzled the Italian city of Portofino with their outfits. It was there that we could see the famous sisters with their most gothic and transparent looks throughout the weekend.

How could it be otherwise considering the place where they were, Dolce & Gabbana was behind all the outfits.

Kim Kardashian – Met Gala

The Met Gala look that everyone is talking about first debuted when Marilyn Monroe sang “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy in 1962. Sixty years later, Kim Kardashian has added to the garment’s pop culture significance.

For more information on the dress, go HERE.

Marilyn Monroe’s “Happy Birthday” dress — now also Kim Kardashian’s 2022 Met Gala look — will be on display at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Hollywood for a limited time beginning Memorial Day weekend. Visitors will be able to get an up-close look at this stunning garment, along with a behind-the-scenes peek at Kim’s Met Gala look and other memorabilia from Marilyn Monroe and John F. Kennedy.

Sixty years after Marilyn Monroe famously sang “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy, Kim Kardashian has added to the pop culture significance of Monroe’s iconic dress — becoming the only other person to ever wear the gown.

Kennedy.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! acquired the dress at a Julien’s Auctions event in 2016 for $4.8 million. With taxes and fees, the dress’ value surpasses $5 million, making it the world’s most expensive dress ever sold at auction. Believe It or Not!, the gown is now valued at over $10 million.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! strongly feels that this dress, with both political and pop culture significance, is the most famous item of clothing from twentieth century culture.

“We are truly proud to be the stewards of such an iconic artifact and are excited to be able to add to its cultural significance with Kim Kardashian, who is sharing the story of Marylin Monroe and her iconic career with an entirely new generation,” said Ripley’s VP of Publishing and Licensing Amanda Joiner.

The multi-million-dollar dress has rarely been separated from its dress form, let alone worn by anyone other than Monroe. Great care was taken to preserve this piece of history. With input from garment conservationists, appraisers, archivists, and insurance, the garment’s condition was top priority. No alterations were made to the dress, and Kim Kardashian even changed into a replica before entering the Gala.

Kendall Jenner × Messika

Kendall Jenner and Messika reunite in a new solar inspired campaign signalling signs of freedom.

Kendall Jenner and Valérie Messika met in the South of France to shoot the Maison’s new campaign by Chris Colls.

Valérie Messika has always loved the dynamism of fashion. Her jewels bear witness to this every season; inspiring new styles thanks to the easy-to-wear diamond, which is ever more modern and innovative. True to her instinct to find a personality and figure who is best representative of the Messika woman, the designer had set her sights on Kendall Jenner as her new muse, who infuses the new campaign and collections with an unparalleled energy and radiance.

Kendall Jenner’s modelling career began at the age of 14, when appearing on the cover of Teen Vogue in 2010. Following which, she was almost immediately shot to stardom as one of the most sought after faces across the most cutting-edge catwalks. Dubbed as the “fashion icon of the decade” in 2017, Kendall remains in demand by all the leading fashion houses. In her element with Messika jewelry, that she wears both for runway shows as well as in her private life, the model embodies the Messika woman through her effortless sensibilities, her unadulterated freedom, and her modernity.

The photographs merge Kendal Jenner’s elegant figure with the natural infinite effect of the landscape. Capturing the immensity of the sea joining the sky, each image is a manifesto of freedom. That of a young woman in an iridescent blue lamé swimsuit or jacket taking a break in the clear water or running across crisp white sand. Whatever her choice, her attitude reflects her brilliance. Between athleisure and performance, her outfits have the energy of a woman well in her life, in her time and of the moment, whose body and mind are in perfect harmony. In control of her own destiny, she represents today’s alpha woman.

To capture the essence of this liberated spirit, Australian photographer Chris Colls combines the aesthetics of a fashion photograph with moving elements for a multi-degree approach, like Messika jewelry, reflective of dual femininity. Accumulations of jewels stacked across the fingers, wrists, decolletage and neck dance in reflections of sunlight and give rhythm to the look, while Kendall, with her eyes fixed on the lens, is alluring and magnetic.

Through this campaign, the Maison reconfirms its bond with women. Ensuring fluidity in the ability to live every moment as decided, Messika jewelry is easy to wear and to combine. Through every piece, a sole ambition is shared: to encourage confidence in feeling ever free.

“I wanted to illustrate a subtle alliance between grace and strength and capture an image of an alpha woman with a mysterious and hypnotic aura; and Kendall perfectly embodied that for me.” – Valérie Messika

“I was very happy to be chosen by Messika for its new campaign because I really like the spirit of this brand which merges glamour and Parisian chic in its jewelry. The shoot went very smoothly: I immediately identified with this young woman full of energy who lives her life as she has decided.” – Kendall Jenner
