When the history books open up, “Drip” will forever be associated with the meteoric and platinum rise of Gunna. Dubbed “The King of Drip” and pegged “to take over the rap world” by Interview, he generated over one billion cumulative streams and achieved one platinum and two gold certifications within a year. Now, he submerges the whole game in “Drip” on his 2019 full-length debut, Drip or Drown 2 [Young Stoner Life Records/300 Entertainment], and singles “One Call” and “Speed It Up.”
Born and raised in College Park, GA, he immediately gravitated towards innovative hip-hop from the likes of OutKast, Cam’Ron, and Future. Signed to YSL Records, he famously teamed up with label boss Young Thug and Travis Scott on “Floyd Mayweather” from 2016’s Jeffery. Shortly after, he dropped the seminal mixtape Drip Season. 2017 saw him serve up the sequel Drip Season 2 and Drip or Drown. He ascended to superstardom during 2018. Drip Season 3 put up unbelievable numbers, earned Drake’s fandom, and garnered looks from Rolling Stone, GQ, Vogue, Complex, and more. Not to mention, he joined forces with frequent collaborator Lil Baby for the collaborative Drip Harder, which bowed at #4 on the Billboard Top 200. The project yielded the platinum Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit “Drip Too Hard” and gold “Never Recover” [with Drake]. He teamed up with Travis Scott and NAV for the ASTROWORLD favorite “Yosemite,” Mariah Carey for “Stay Long Love You,” and Metro Boomin for “Space Cadet,” which they performed on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Plus, he participated in fashion shows for Pyer Moss, Off-White, and Yohji Yamamoto.
Now that Drip Season is underway, it’s never going to end.

Rolling Loud, the World’s Largest Hip-Hop Festival, has announced today that Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, Migos, Cardi B, & Lil Wayne will be the top headliners for the three day music festival’s fifth anniversary celebration in May. The festival will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium festival grounds in Miami Gardens, Florida on May 10 – 12. Tickets will be going on sale on Friday, February 1st and are available here.
“Rolling Loud was all just a dream, the fans made it into a reality. Thank you so much for all the support and helping create a brand that will live on forever. Can’t wait to show you what we have in store for you on site this year in Miami” said co-founder Matt Zingler.Co-founder Tariq Cherif stated, “After a year of touring the festival around the country and world, we are excited to return home to Miami to produce what will be our biggest and best show to date.”
About Rolling Loud:
Rolling Loud was launched by co-founders, Matthew Zingler and Tariq Cherif five years ago in Miami, Florida. Rolling Loud is the World’s Largest Hip-Hop Festival and is one of the premier destinations for hip-hop and music fans in the United States and abroad. Since organizing its inaugural event as a single-day festival in 2015, Rolling Loud has expanded into an annual world-class festival in Miami (2015), as well as culturally rich countries and cities, both domestically and abroad, including Oakland, California (2017), Los Angeles, California (2017), and Sydney, Australia (2018). In 2018, Rolling Loud’s flagship event, Rolling Loud Miami, hosted 180,000 attendees over three days with more than 120 artists performing on three stages. Celebrating its fifth anniversary in 2019, Rolling Loud Miami will, as always, feature the biggest names and up-and-coming superstars fans have come to expect, with an extraordinary and diverse array of hiphop artists performing across the three-day event. Rolling Loud will continue its worldwide expansion in 2019 with new locations to be announced later this year.
About The Founders:
Matthew Zingler and Tariq Cherif are the co-founders of Rolling Loud and have been booking premier hip-hop shows throughout the State of Florida since 2010 and have been featured in Billboard Magazine’s annual list of the Who’s Who in Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop Power Players Edition consecutively since the inaugural list in 2017.
Growing from a single day Miami-based festival into a global company and the biggest live brand in rap music, Rolling Loud’s success embodies the spirit of Hip-Hop. In September, Rolling Loud founders Matt Zingler & Tariq Cherif hosted Rolling Loud Bay Area 2018. Headlined by turn-up titan Travis Scott and Taylor Gang ringleader Wiz Khalifa, the artist roster for Rolling Loud Bay Area was as star-studded as they come, boasting Hip-Hop heavy hitters like Rae Sremmurd, Pusha T, Gucci Mane, and Kevin Gates, local heroes like E-40, IAMSU!, Kamaiyah, Mozzy, and P-Lo, XXL Freshmen like Trippie Redd, wifisfuneral and BlocBoy JB, and other rapidly rising stars, including Juice WRLD, Lil Baby, Yung Bans, Lil Skies, and Saweetie. Occurring over two days on the grounds of Oakland Coliseum, Rolling Loud Bay Area brought a blast of hyphy local energy that the rap game desperately needs.
Featuring a three day lineup and moving from Bayfront Park to Hard Rock Stadium, Rolling Loud Miami proved that bigger is better in 2018. With over 140 artists performing during an action-packed weekend, Rolling Loud Miami 2018 brought capacity crowds each day to the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens earlier this month. Headlined by J. Cole, Travis Scott & Future, Rolling Loud 2018 boasted performances from heavy-hitters like Migos and Lil Uzi Vert, veterans like N*E*R*D, The Diplomats and Juicy J, established names such as Young Thug, Big K.R.I.T., Young Dolph and Rick Ross, and risers like Playboi Carti, Lil Skies, Ski Mask The Slump God, Trippie Redd and many more. Founded by Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, recently the new subject of a feature in the Wall Street Journal, Rolling Loud continues to expand its profile as one of the most successful and valuable festival brands in the music business.
“Rolling Loud — which has rapidly become the most essential annual hip-hop festival — was the fire-hot center of the SoundCloud rap explosion last year”– The New York Times
“One of hip-hop’s biggest festivals” – The Wall Street Journal
“The country’s premier hip-hop festival” –Billboard
Rolling Loud Festival is one of rap’s premier music festival experiences. The festival was the brainchild of co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matthew Zingler, who began organizing shows in 2010. The two created Rolling Loud Festival in 2015 as a one-day festival for 6,000 attendees. Three years later, the festival’s Miami chapter has expanded into a three-day event, with the festival expanding worldwide in the coming year.

Carti performed many of his biggest hits from his debut album De Lit along with many fan favorites from his Spring 2017 Mixtape titled Playboi Carti, which also includes his most popular up-to-date song, “Magnolia.”
Traveling back down in memory lane, Carti definitely started from the bottom. Growing up in a poverty-stricken Atlanta household, he manages to become one of the most successful music artists in the world.
Much of his success can be accredited to his team as well as A$AP Rocky who serves as his mentor. The two share a bond that only a genuine friendship can relate to. They’re so close that they even like to jokingly roast each other on their Instagrams and you can find it here.
Signed to Interscope Records, Carti first caught their attention with his catchy beats paired with his high energy performance and a brilliant display of pyrotechnics executed with beaming bright lights throughout the production.
Carti’s openers included members of his crew, LB, Drupey Kane, and Sheck Wess. Each performer brought out their best as they showed their individual unique style of music.
Hyping the crowd up was no problem as Carti’s appearance brought screams of excitement from his fans. Songs of his he performed were “Poke it Out” and “R.I.P.”
To finish everything off, Tyler the Creator made a surprise appearance. With him by Carti’s side, both artists were able to make the concert even more epic.

Today, critically acclaimed Atlanta rapper NESSLY uncovers his new song “Make It Right” featuring Joji. It’s available at all digital retailers now via Republic Records.
Minimal production crawls in the background as NESSLY and Joji collide on this simmering and smoked-out collab. “Make It Right” brings together two of hip-hop’s most exciting new talents and amplifies their respective voices.
“Make It Right” arrives hot on the heels of NESSLY’s recently released “WHOHASIT” [feat. Ski Mask The Slump God. Upon release, it landed looks from HypeBeast, Pigeons & Planes, XXL, and VENTS Magazineand began putting up numbers online with nearly a quarter million Spotify streams.
Both songs will appear on his anxiously awaited debut project, WILDFLOWER [Republic Records] — out on all digital streaming platforms March 2nd. Executive Produced by hip-hop powerhouse TM88 [Travis Scott, Future] and Take A Daytrip [6lack, Raury], it promises to land with a bang.

With a flow as wild as his ever-evolving presence, 22-year-old Nessly immediately draws attention to himself. Two 2016 projects—Still Finessin and Solo Boy Band—introduced the world to his singular style with The Fader asserting, “Nessly sets himself apart with his Solo Boy Band project.” Beyond acclaim from Complex, Pigeons and Planes, and Noisey, XXL would go so far as to claim that he takes “his sonics to an untouchable level that will challenge the industry.” Emerging from the fertile Soundcloud battleground, he’s already received support from Drake’s OVO Sound Radio and Pharrell’s OHTERtone in addition to collaborations with everyone from Lil Yachty, Playboi Carti, and A$AP Mob to a tour with Ugly God. He blossoms into the star he was always meant to be on his 2018 major label debut project, WILDFLOWER[Republic Records]. Executive Produced by TM88 [Travis Scott, Future] and Take A Daytrip [6lack, Raury], all 14 tracks speak to the artist’s comment to thick soundscapes and even thicker hooks. From the woozy chant of the single “Back 2 Life” to the creepy catchiness of “WHOHASIT” [feat. Ski Mask The Slump God] and spacey R&B on “Water Springs” [feat. 24hrs], a very bright future is in bloom for Nessly.
EBENEZER RELEASES VISUAL FOR ‘ASK AROUND’
Today, rising star Ebenezer releases his visual for his track ‘Ask Around’. Directed by Bafic (Mabel/Lily Allen) and his signature style, the video follows Ebenezer on a night out with his friends through a fly on the wall perspective around his city. The video premiered earlier today via The FADER and the song is available at all digital retailers.
‘If you ask around you’ll know we are the life of the party’
In a few short years Ebenezer has worked with the likes of Rejjie Snow, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign and Craig David. With the recent release of “Cliché” featuring PnB Rock, Ebenezer heightens his musical journey, by genre-bending his emotionally tinged R&B by combining it with trap, completely void of the usual pretence that’s flooded the genre. In a way, it could be described as conscious turn-up music.
Born in East London, Ebenezer spent most of his childhood at a cousin’s house in Hackney along with his brother and sister. While his mother was busy holding down three jobs, Ebenezer and his brother spent most of their free time listening to music, watching MTV Base and learning to produce.
