KASH DOLL – LIKE A PRO FT. JUICY J

KASH DOLL RELEASES NEW TRACK & LYRIC VIDEO “LIKE A PRO” FEAT. JUICY J

Stars in 50 Cent’s New Starz Series ‘Black Mafia Family Out September 26

“Kash Doll is sharp, headstrong and savvy” – Billboard
“One of the most promising acts of female rap’s current class” – Nylon
“Kash Doll has established herself as a pioneering force in the industry.”– MTV
“Kash Doll has established herself as one of hip-hop’s leading female voices.” – XXL

Gold-selling Detroit rapper, entrepreneur, and actress Kash Doll drops her new track and lyric video “Like A Pro” feat. Juicy J via Republic Records.

As always, she comes through with the kind of raw lyrical fire that’s too hot to touch. Over a high-energy throwback beat, she delivers one raunchy and braggadocious bar after another with Juicy J joining her on the catchy hook.

Her most recent single Thumbin has already racked up millions of streams to date. Additionally, HotNewHipHop praised the track’s “addictive chorus and copious amounts of quotable lyrics, while hailing it as “the next big hit on short-form video sharing platforms like TikTok and Triller.

The track arrived on the heels of her knockout collaboration with DJ Famous—“Bad Azz” feat. Mulatto & Benny The Butcher, which has amassed 9 million streams and counting. Beyond features from REVOLT, Pitchfork, Brooklyn Vegan and more, UPROXX claimed, “Kash Doll, DJ Infamous, Mulatto, and Benny The Butcher show why the competition is mad with ‘Bad Azz.’”

Kash Doll, who has garnered over 1 billion streams worldwide since signing with Republic Records, continues to pull up everywhere this year. She features on Saweetie’s “Hoops” alongside the legendary Salt-N-Pepa from the mega-anticipated Space Jam: A New Legacy Soundtrack. She’ll take the stage at Detroit Summer Fest on August 13, Migos “Culture III” Las Vegas Weekender on October 15 and Rolling Loud LA on December 10. She will appear in a starring recurring role on STARZ’ Black Mafia Family, which will premiere on September 26.

Kash Doll continues to make waves. Receiving critical acclaim from Vulture and Marie Claire, Essence praised, “If there’s one rapper who can teach us a thing or two about remaining confident, it’s Kash Doll.” Meanwhile, she guested on “Friday Night Cypher” from Big Sean’s chart-dominating Detroit 2 and joined forces with HoodCelebrityy for “So Pretty.”

Detroit native Kash Doll has impacted the music industry with a commanding force, dropping street-earned truths with her throwback wordplay and powerful bars. The one-two combination of spirit and sass announced her as fiery female force in 2019 after quietly amassing 30 million-plus on-demand streams, garnering the BMI Social Star Award and “Issa Wave Award” at the BET Social Awards, securing a new management deal with Title 9 Productions and inking a recording contract with Republic Records. An unbelievable story brought her to this point. Losing her dad on just her first birthday, she always held down multiple jobs to support her mom and siblings. And at 18, she started investing in herself eventually opening two beauty bars and funding her own music career. She made waves on the 2014 independent debut mixtape, Keisha Vs. Kash Doll. Following 2016’s Trapped In The Dollhouse, she developed a presence as a touring force and earned coveted co-signs from Drake, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Remy Ma, and many more. The 2018 The Vault mixtape captured #1 on multiple mixtape sites as her debut single for Republic Records “Ice Me Out” and its 2 Chainz-assisted official remix clocked 85 million-plus total streams.

Last year, Kash Doll also released a project solely for her fans titled Brat Mail to thank them for all their continued support. The project garnered over 30 million global streams and features the break out single “Check.” Shortly before Brat Mail, Kash released one of her biggest singles to date, “For Everybody,” which racked up over 101 million YouTube/VEVO views independently. Outside of music, this boss runs Kash Doll Enterprises and does charity work around her hometown. Her city bestowed the “Spirit of Detroit” Award upon her. Additionally, in 2019, Kash Doll released her debut album Stacked, received a 2019 BET Award nomination for “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist,” garnered critical acclaim for her album from BillboardMTV, UPROXX, BETForbes, Nylon and more and toured with Meek Mill. This year will be full of brand new music, acting and more from the Detroit star.

The band played some old songs including “Meet Me In The Woods” (view video here) and provided a sneak peek at some new songs. The episode also featured a hotline where fans could call in and ask Mr. Tarbell questions and request songs from the band. Episode 2 included additional cryptic clues, more beautiful performances from Lord Huron (including  “The World Ender” and  “Frozen Pines”) and even the secret world premiere of “Mine Forever.” Episode 3 included a long awaited performance of “The Night We Met,” “The Balancers Eye,” and fan favorite “Ghost on The Shore.” In case you missed the performances of “The Night We Met” Watch HERE. What could be in store for the band next? Only time will tell…As Tubbs says: “As ever, friends, may you live until you die”

From self-editing his videos and artwork to mixing and mastering his sound, he’s been on an unstoppable run, gaining notoriety for his productions and collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, YG, Eric Bellinger, Mustard, G Perico, Mozzy and Kalan.FrFr.

Receiving praise from Billboard, BET, Complex, Pitchfork and more, in 2021, Blxst was announced as a XXL Freshman Class member and an Amazon Breakthrough artist. This fall also sees Blxst headline his first ever North American tour, which sold out in less than an hour.

About Bino Rideaux

With a one-two punch of laidback flows and hypnotic melodies, Bino Rideaux has quietly shaped the next era of West Coast hip-hop. Growing up in South Central, he crafted his 2015 independent project, Life Is Like A Movie, out of a D.I.Y. studio in his grandmother’s house. Gaining traction around L.A., he co-founded Out The Blue Records and dropped music at a prolific pace. Penned in the wake of his homie KP’s death, “100 Days 100 Nights” caught the attention of the late Nipsey Hussle. He featured on Nipsey’s tracks “Clarity” and “The Field” before they teamed up on the 2017 joint project No Pressure.

As his profile rose, Bino linked with Blxst on Sixtape in 2019 before unleashing his full-length debut, Outside, which boasted appearances by heavyweights such as Ty Dolla $ign, Fredo Bang, Mozzy, and BlueBucksClan. In addition to praise from ComplexLA WeeklyVICE and more, UPROXX named it one of the “100 Best Albums of 2020.” Signing to Def Jam in partnership with Out The Blue, he only perfected his signature style on the likes of “Pride 2 The Side” and “BET” before igniting 2021 with the entrancing guitar-laden trip of “Incredible” [feat. Drakeo The Ruler]. Pegged as one of Rolling Stone’s “Breakthrough 25,” Billboard championed him among “6 LA Rappers to Watch in 2021” and went on to describe him as “the brightest star to emerge from that orbit.” Meanwhile, KAZI christened him “one of the West Coast’s most exciting new talents.

PRATEEK KUHAD – SHEHRON KE RAAZ

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad has debuted new EP Shehron Ke Raaz. The four-track collection includes an acoustic version of Kuhad’s 2020 breakout hit “Kasoor,” and was heralded by singles “Tere Hi Hum” and the EP’s title trackShehron Ke Raaz is available now on all streaming platforms via Elektra Records.

The artist returns his Indian roots on the project, recording in Bombay and singing in Hindi as he explores the intimate, often hidden worlds that lovers create for themselves. There’s a sweetness to his delivery that transcends language and culture, resulting in a dreamy and profoundly moving body of work that speaks to the kind of fundamentally human desires that bind us all.

Big cities have countless stories of lovers lost in their own little worlds, and while their particular corner of the city may be small in the grand scheme of things, their emotional universe is large and all-encompassing,” Kuhad explains. “This EP explores love in a very gentle and personal manner. The stories are hidden, and they belong to those who wish to participate in them. The music attempts to represent hope, mystery, and wonder in the most beautiful way possible.”

In October, Prateek announced his signing to Elektra Records, making history as the first solo Indian act to join the storied label. The news was heralded by the re-release of his 2018 breakthrough EP cold / mess, lauded by Atwood Magazine an “an utterly breathtaking, expansive piece of indie folk mastery.” The collection has racked up critical praise from NPR, Vulture, Billboard, Uproxx, and former President Barack Obama, who featured “cold / mess” on his 2019 Songs of the Year playlist. In February, Kuhad shared “cold / mess (on piano),” a stripped-back take of the delicate ballad.

Hailed by Rolling Stone India as “one of the country’s leading singer-songwriters,” Prateek Kuhad has taken the rest of the world by storm in recent years, writing and performing in both Hindi and English and garnering a slew of accolades and honors around the globe with his mesmerizing, cinematic songwriting.

Growing up in the small city of Jaipur, India, Kuhad’s childhood listening diet consisted primarily of the Indian pop and Bollywood soundtracks that filled the local radio dial, as well as his parents’ CD collection, which contained only limited Western music. A move to New York City for college opened Prateek’s eyes to a new world of music, discovering Elliott Smith and inspiring him to seriously pursue his musical ambitions. While Kuhad has long been a household name in his native country (he became one of Spotify India’s most-streamed artists when the service launched there and the cold/mess EP debuted at #1), 2019 proved to be his breakout year in North America, with a star-making turn at SXSW and a cross-country headline run that culminated with three sold out shows in New York City.

Prateek’s debut album In Tokens and Charms was an instant hit ߝ earning the artist an MTV Europe Music Award, Indie Album of the Year honors from iTunes, and the title of Best Pop Artist at the Radio City Freedom Awards. The album’s opening track, “Oh Love,” captured first place in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition, which previously helped launch artists like Gotye and Passenger to global audiences. Kuhad has sold out auditorium and amphitheater dates across India, landed arena support slots with the likes of Alt-J and Mike Posner, and traveled the world for headline and festival performances in the US, UK, Australia, Singapore, Canada, and France.

On the song he weaves together thought-provoking bars and show-stopping vocals above a backdrop of acoustic guitar and 808s. The accompanying visual finds him rapping alone around New York in the middle of the night as it captures his palpable charisma on-screen. The track led to quick praise from Triller who spotlighted him as a featured artist as well as recognition from REVOLT, HotNewHipHop, RESPECT, and Uproxx who listed the track on their “Best New Hip-Hop This Week” roundup. MONEYBAGG YO – WOCKESHA

MONEYBAGG YO DELIVERS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED VIDEO FOR WOCKESHA WITH APPEARANCE FROM LIL WAYNE

Today, multiplatinum musician Moneybagg Yo unveiled the long-awaited video for his hit song Wockesha, which he co-directed alongside Ben Marc.

The breezy visual kicks off with a cameo from hip-hop legend Lil Wayne, who divulges his infamous speech on dismissing those who can’t mind their business.  Frame by frame, we see Moneybagg Yo become disillusioned by a lover which includes him seeing a mirage that equates to a complicated relationship.

Wockesha quickly became a fan favorite from the release of Bagg’s critically acclaimed fourth studio albumA Gangsta’s Pain, which recently earned gold-certification from the RIAA. On the metaphorical record, which samples DeBarge’s pillowy track, Stay With Me, Bagg finds himself taping into more of his emotional side. The Southern artist opens about indulging on his toxic pleasures, he raps “One minute I’m done with you, the next one I be runnin’ back. Go your way, I go my way, but somehow we be still attached.” Today the track has nearly 150 million streams globally across all streaming partners and has charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

Over the weekend, Bagg hit the stage at the 2021 BET Music Awards to perform a medley of Wockesha and his No. 1 song Time Today, which VIBE Magazine praised Moneybagg Yo gets the crowd turned up as he tears through his performance, delivering each line with the fervor and conviction heard on the actual record.” To date, A Gangsta’s Pain has cumulatively tallied over 300 million streams and counting. Meanwhile, Billboard, Complex, and UPROXX have already listed it as “Best Albums of 2021 So Far.”

A Gangsta’s Pain showcases Moneybagg’s versatility as an artist. He opens up with some of his most powerful tracks yet, but he also turns up with indisputable and inimitable bangers. Among those, it boasts singles such as the hard-hitting Shottas (Lala), platinum-selling Time TodayHard For The Next (feat. Future), and the recent anthem GO! (feat. BIG30). The 22-track opus earned widespread critical acclaim upon arrival. Billboard applauded his “authentic stories that connect to both the hearts and minds of the streets.”

Meanwhile, UPROXX observed, Moneybagg Yo steps out of his comfort zone to conquer A Gangsta’s Pain on his pensive new album.” Rolling Stone highlighted Certified Neptunes (feat. Pharrell) as a “Song You Need To Know.” Continuing his takeover, Moneybagg recently made his late-night television debut with an impressive medley of Time Today and Hard For The Next on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Toosii – f**k marry kill

Today, the Syracuse-born, North Carolina-raised rapper Toosii shares a luxurious video for “f**k marry kill,” a single from his latest project Thank You For Believing, out now via South Coast Music Group/Capitol Records. The visual – which follows a similarly lush clip for “Red Die” – finds the rising rap star embracing opulence, surrounded by beautiful women, glimmering jewels, and an inviting pool. Watch here.

The “f**k marry kill” video offers Toosii a chance to celebrate his recent successes as he lives large in a lavish mansion, surrounded by women in bikinis. It’s a fitting pairing for the track’s floating melodies and effortless cool.

The video is appropriately celebratory given that Toosii has recently marked some huge career milestones. His relentless work ethic and undeniable run of vivid, emotional tracks earned him a spot in the 2021 XXL Freshman Class. It’s a coveted honor for any rapper, and it speaks to the growing acclaim for Toosii across the industry. Thank You For Believing garnered praise from critics and tastemakers like The Fader, Complex, The Source, UPROXX, HotNewHipHop, and more.

Tickets are on sale here for the Thank You for Believing tour – Toosii’s first-ever U.S. headline outing. He will also perform at numerous festivals, including Rolling Loud, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.

Toosii also recently surpassed one billion combined global streams across all of his songs, proof that his music is resonating with listeners too. Between the release of Thank You For Believing, the staggering success of its singles, and his appearance on XXL’s 2021 Freshman Class, Toosii is already well on his way to becoming a superstar. But he’ll be the first to admit that all of this hustle is just the beginning.

GoldLink – HARAM!

Today, GoldLink, one of the most innovative artists in hip-hop, releases his third studio album, HARAM!, via Squaaash Club/RCA Records. Click here to listen.

Containing 15 tracks with features by Flo MilliNLE ChoppaSantigoldBibi BourellyRich The Kid, emerging international act Fire! and more, HARAM! represents the destruction and rebuilding of a new GoldLink, yet stays true to his lyrical prowess. Joe Perez (Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Pusha T) helmed the creative direction for the album.

Continuing to redefine what a “rap star” is meant to be, HARAM! is GoldLink’s most personal, genius, adventurous and riskiest piece of work to date. Filled with unfiltered braggadocios raps, challenging flows – yet feels more specific, like a biopic – the album is one that poses questions rather than give answers. The metaphoric use of the harsh, gritty telephone effect against his iconic cadence signifies that GoldLink is purposefully imperfect; he doesn’t want to be perfect. With HARAM!, GoldLink’s quest is to challenge the idea of rap titles in art in his pursuit to becoming a musical deity.

This Saturday (6/19), GoldLink will be performing during Luminosity Gaming’s “Luminosity Live” event, presented by F9. Catch him on Twitch at 10pm EST on the Luminosity Twitch Channel.

About GoldLink:

Where the intersections of the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia) collide, GoldLink is a direct product. Washington, D.C., and the broader DMV area, have long been treated like a musical Rubik’s cube. There are bursting, technicolor patches of musical brilliance, but the component parts never line up in a way that made sense to those on the outside. GoldLink is not interested in spelling out all the nuances of his hometown; what he does aim to do is synthesize his environment’s litany of influences and inspirations into something unique, singular, and all together his own.

With his RIAA-certified Gold debut studio album At What Cost (Squaaash Club/RCA) – helmed by the monstrous single “Crew” – released in March 2017, he’s done just that. By merging the sensibilities of go-go with the African diaspora, he’s done what hip-hop has done from its inception: repurpose what’s available into something magical.

The success of At What Cost and 4x Platinum single “Crew” saw GoldLink achieve a number of career firsts — from his Grammy nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration to the iHeartMedia Music Awards nomination for Best New Hip-Hop Artist to his BET Awards nomination for Best New Artist. Adding to his accomplishments was a Grammy Nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration the following year with “Like I Do” with Christina Aguilera.

Following up in 2019 with Diaspora, GoldLink continued to show his sonic range and influences as shown on singles “Zulu Screams” ft. Maleek Berry & Bibi Bourelly, and “Joke Ting” ft. Ari Pensmith. The album was recognized by Pitchfork as “the best music of his career,” and Highsnobiety declared “GoldLink can conceive of and execute his ideas better than most anyone in hip-hop today.” Diaspora made several Best Albums of The Year lists including Complex, UpRoxx, Hot New Hip Hop and more, while “Zulu Screams” made The New York Times “54 Best Songs of 2019” list, calling it “a supremely catchy international collaboration.”
