About Jacquees:

A thirteen-year grind ushered Jacquees into the forefront of modern R&B with multiple platinum records, billions of streams, and sold-out shows everywhere. Behind all of those flashy vocal runs and silky bedroom jams, you’ll find the same humble music-obsessed vocalist who first picked up a microphone at 9-years-old in his hometown of Decatur, GA.
He’s come a long way too. After the success of his independent 19 EP in 2014, he inked a deal with Cash Money Records and cultivated a signature style steeped in throwback soul with the right amount of 21st century sizzle. His 2018 full-length debut4275 scored a gold certification from the RIAA and boasted the double-platinum “B.E.D.” and platinum “At The Club” featuring Dej Loaf. A year later in 2019, he returned with King of R&B, which yielded the gold-selling “Your Peace” featuring Lil Baby. Not to mention, he teamed up with Cash Money Records Co-Founder and iconic rapper Birdman for the collaborative Lost At Sea [2016] and Lost At Sea 2 [2018]. He also closed out 2019 with the Christmas in Decatur EP.

Now, he’s turning the page on the next chapter of his career.
“It’s a new chapter, for sure,” he affirms. “I’m rebranding by getting back to how I started. I’m having fun again. Of course, it’s still a job, but I’m having a really good time. I took a break from everything for a minute and I’m stepping out now.”

Toosii Joins Rod Wave On Fall Arena Tour, Launching Tonight – Purchase Tickets Here

Toosii dropped Boys Don’t Cry: Men Do (Deluxe) today, just hours before he joins Rod Wave on his North American arena tour, which kicks off tonight at Target Center in Minneapolis. Released via South Coast Music Group/Capitol Records, the new edition of his acclaimed 2022 EP, Boys Don’t Cry, features five new soul-baring tracks. The expanded title underscores its central theme – that it’s time to question the deeply ingrained belief that boys need to stifle their emotions in order to be strong. Download / stream Boys Don’t Cry: Men Do (Deluxe) HERE. See below for track listing.

On the new songs, the 22-year-old artist is haunted yet informed by the past. Numbed by the pain of hard knocks and ill-fated romances, he nonetheless finds the courage to fall head over heels in love, as shown on tracks like “City Of Love.” Raised in Syracuse, New York, and Goose Creek, South Carolina, Toosii moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in his teens – and it’s there that he came into his own. He recorded the new material in neighboring Cary, NC.

As direct support on Rod Wave’s Beautiful Mind tour, Toosii will be playing for crowds across North America. The run includes shows at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY (November 23) and Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, NC (11/30). It will conclude at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA (December 21). Tickets are on sale HERE. See below for itinerary.

Toosii’s lyrics have always been personal, but on Boys Don’t Cry: Men Do he reveals how his journey of self-discovery was flipped on its head with the birth of his son – who can be heard on the closing bars of “Since 9th Grade.” He’s begun to reexamine his own life lessons and approach the world differently. Yet as he approached professional and personal milestones, Toosii found himself battling a depression so deep and disruptive that he went nearly a year between projects. The moving piano ballad “Last Song” takes fans inside that dark time. Dealing with his own mental health gave Toosii a fresh perspective on life.

“I’m just trying to learn to be the best person I can be for the people I love and for myself,” Toosii says. “Growing up as a man, we were always taught to be tough, not to have emotions, and that boys don’t cry. But it’s just not true. It’s alright as a man to tap into that emotional side.”

Upon the original release of Boys Don’t Cry in October, Toosii gave a powerful performance of the collection’s songs, backed by a live band, on his YouTube channel. View HERE. He discussed the EP on Complex’s “The Daily Drift,” live on Twitch.

XXL tipped Boys Don’t Cry as one of the fall’s highly anticipated drops and hailed “Love is…” as one of the “Best New Hip-Hop Songs.” The track has amassed more than 35 million combined global streams to date The Source observed, “Toosii’s ability to show vulnerability in his music has been something he’s done since stepping onto the scene.” Teen Vogue said, “if you’re not in his orbit yet, you need to tap in.” UPROXX noted, “Toosii has never run away from difficult emotions, and offers one of his most somber records in Heartaches.” Hip-Hop Vibe heralded Toosiias “one of the hottest rising artists in the industry.”

Benee Tour Dates 2022 via U Music Group for use by 360 MAGAZINE

BENEE TOUR

New Zealand alternative pop star BENEE reveals a string of headline tour dates across North America this September and October, in addition to her recently-announced performances at this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival on October 7th and 14th. The new tour dates include San Luis Obispo, CA on September 26th, San Diego, CA on September 27th, Santa Cruz, CA on September 29th, Sacramento, CA on September 30th, Pomona, CA on October 1st, Mexico City, MX on October 9th, and Dallas, TX on October 11th—see the full list of tour dates below. Tickets are on sale this week HERE.

These live shows follow BENEE’s recent headline world tour that took her to sold out venues across North America, Europe, and the UK earlier this spring and summer, as well as summer festival performances at The Governor’s Ball Music Festival and Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Earlier this spring, BENEE dropped her latest EP Lychee to widespread critical acclaim, with UPROXX declaring, “Her music demands to be put on repeat,” and Ones To Watch proclaiming, “Lychee has introduced us to a new era of BENEE, and we are entirely here for it.” BENEE set the stage for the EP with the singles “Doesn’t Matter” and “Beach Boy.” To bring the Lychee EP to life, she worked with collaborators on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. In California, she found herself working on songs with Greg KurstinKenny Beats, and Rostam. Working back home in New Zealand, she completed more tracks with her regular collaborator Josh Fountain. As a whole, Lychee showcases BENEE’s evolution as an eloquent and artful voice for Gen-Z — pushing boundaries and fearless enough not to compromise her creativity or spirit.

BENEE’s dreamy alt-pop mixes her deeply heartfelt reflections on life in suburban Auckland, New Zealand with offbeat and often whimsical lyrical twists, all produced with a technicolor ear for cooked beats and unpredictable hooks. The 22-year-old broke through in 2020 with “Supalonely,” her global hit with 4 billion streams, and her follow-up Hey u x debut album was a vibrant musical world with guests ranging from Grimes and Lily Allen to Gus Dapperton and Muroki (another New Zealand teen BENEE has since signed to her own label, Olive). It was listed as one of Billboard’s “25 Best Pop Albums of 2020,” noting that BENEEcontemplates the woes of Gen Z with a keen ear for choruses and arrangements that oscillate between indie rock and hyperpop.” Stereogum praised its “quirky but impeccably produced pop music” and Vogue called it “13 tracks of heavenly indie-alt-pop.”

ABOUT BENEE
BENEE is the dreamy voice of a disaffected generation who broke through in 2020 with “Supalonely,” her irresistible, four billion streaming alt-pop banger that practically defined the pandemic experience. Twenty-two-year-old Stella Bennett mixes her deeply heartfelt reflections on life in suburban Auckland, New Zealand with offbeat and often whimsical lyrical notions, all produced with a technicolor ear for cooked beats and unpredictable hooks. A fervent online following were drawn to BENEE’s two intriguing EP releases, FIRE ON MARZZ and STELLA & STEVE, before her guest-packed, yet highly personal, Hey u x album was released at the tail end of 2020. The album was a vibrant musical world with guests ranging from Grimes and Lily Allen to Gus Dapperton and Muroki (another New Zealand teen BENEE has since signed to her own label, Olive). It was listed as one of Billboard’s “25 Best Pop Albums of 2020,” noting that BENEEcontemplates the woes of Gen Z with a keen ear for choruses and arrangements that oscillate between indie rock and hyperpop.” Stereogum praised its “quirky but impeccably produced pop music” and Vogue called it “13 tracks of heavenly indie-alt-pop.” Platinum Awards piled up around the globe, and she performed “Supalonely” — live from New Zealand — on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy FallonEllen, and Late Night with Seth Meyers and recorded a heartfelt live version of album opener “Happen To Me” for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. A year on, BENEE returns with her 2022 Lychee EP, with her song “Doesn’t Matter” revealing the singer’s journey through the emotional clatter of 2021. Following the EP release, BENEE toured across North America, Europe, and the UK on her headline world tour, and now she’ll be returning to North America for select dates this fall. Expect the world to be ready and waiting for her.

Doechii New Single "she / her / black bitch" Cover Art via U Music Group for use by 360 MAGAZINE

DOECHII – SHE

Today Doechii drops her first EP for Top Dawg Entertainment / Capitol Records she / her / black bitch. Listen HERE.

The EP includes production from Kal Banx, Hit-Boy, Bankroll Got It and Devin Malik, and is Executive Produced by Anthony ‘Top Dawg‘ Tiffith and Anthony Moosa Tiffith Jr.

The project cements the Tampa native as a distinct voice whose versatile talents range from quick-fire bars to seductive singing. On she / her / black bitch Doechii outlines different layers of her life experience: from villainous to confident to soft and sad, and to overall proving that she matters. As NPR stated Doechii reclaims and spits back at anyone who dares to diminish her power.

Many times I’ve been referred to as a bitch as a way to gaslight me out of certain spaces, something I think many people can relate to in one way or another,” says Doechii. “Lots of people will call you various names for doing something differently.

So I decided to take ownership of the black bitch and title my EP she/ her/ black bitch and reclaim that motherf***ing power, Doechii continues. So if you’ve ever been put down for being yourself, just remember you’re powerful and unapologetic- these songs are for you.”

In 2022 the Doechii came out swinging, chosen as an XXL Freshman and tapped as an Artist to Watch in Rolling Stone, NPR, Vulture, Complex, Uproxx, Pigeons and Planes, FADER, and more. Doechii performed on both The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and on the mainstage on the BET Awards. She was also chosen as the RADAR US Cover Artist at Spotify; the VEVO DSCVR Artist for June; the BET Artist of the Month; MTV‘s Push Artist for July; and Billboard crowned her both Artist of the Month and a Queer Game-Changer. Doechii‘s record Persuasive also made Obama‘s Summer playlist.

Doechii has dominated since the release of her unwaveringly original EPs 2020s, Oh the Places You‘ll Go, featuring the viral smash Yucky Blucky Fruitcake, and 2021’s BRA-LESS. This new release continues a hot streak for Doechii following the brazen Bitch I’m Nice the rebellious Crazy and the seductive Persuasive (which SZA later jumped on).

Expect more unparalleled, genre-bending music from the multi-faceted Doechii, the self-proclaimed swamp princess.

KELOW LATESHA – TURBO

On August 4, 2022, Kelow LaTesha has announced the forthcoming release of her eagerly-awaited new EP, TURBO due out in partnership with SoundCloud. Arriving on August 19, TURBO, in short for turbulence, takes listeners on a ride that provides a front-and-center look at Kelow‘s trials, triumphs and transformative experiences that have led her to stand tall as the woman she is today.

In addition to being named part of First on SoundCloud‘s 2022 artist class, earlier this year Kelow LaTesha launched a partnership with SoundCloud to bring her career to the next level. She shared the news with fans today on her social channels.

Since launching the partnership, Kelow is rapidly on the rise – she’s been featured in Vibe, HipHopDX, Earmilk, and XXL‘s “Best New Hip-Hop Songs,” and recently released tracks have earned placements on coveted playlists across major platforms, including Apple Music‘s “New in Hip-Hop,” Spotify’s “New Joints,” Tidal’s “Rising” and others.

Taking an all gas no breaks approach on the road to TURBO, Kelow‘s latest singles “He Ain’t Mine” featuring Asian Doll, “Titanic” featuring Goonew, and “Genius” all, in their own right, have quickly become stand-out releases for the DMV-bred artist. Released last month, “He Ain’t Mine” received co-signs as the ‘Best in Hip Hop’ for the week from outlets such as XXL, UPROXX, SOHH and more

Kelow continues her triumphant run as she paves the way to deliver what is set to be one of the most discussed projects of the year.

Forget about the stigmas, labels, ideologies and pre-determinations of today’s hip-hop artists, because when you meet Kelow LaTesha, none of the industry standards apply. Born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, the imaginative artist has had the desire to create since she was a child, where she often expressed herself through painting and music. Since then, Kelow has ascended to become a dynamic fixture on the rap scene with the uncanny ability to transport her fans both sonically and visually with a thoughtfully crafted aesthetic.

Kelow garnered acclaim and a range of fans thanks to her definitive album TSA which was released in 2019 followed closely by TSA Deluxe in 2020. Songs like “PowerPuff Girls,” “Hammer Time,” and “The Real Deal,” showed off her ability to transcend genres and consistently innovate.

Prior to the release of TSA, Kelow delivered singles and visuals as a creative director under the name BUTTA, opening up for acts like Metro Boomin. She also built buzz with the success of her EP Amethyst Stoner and its adrenaline-fuelled tune “Finna” that became a viral hit on SoundCloud. “Finna” was later transformed into a charismatic remix featuring Lil Uzi Vert.

Kelow is in the business of making music that moves you, makes you feel good and connects people. Her upcoming project Turbo is set for release in 2022. This is just the beginning.

DOMi & JD BECK – NOT TiGHT

DOMi & JD BECK have released their highly anticipated debut album NOT TiGHT, which is out now on Anderson .Paak‘s new label APESHIT in partnership with Blue Note Records. The duo keyboardist DOMi Louna and drummer JD Beck are joined on the album by a line-up of special guests which includes .PaakSnoop DoggBusta RhymesHerbie HancockThundercatMac DeMarco, and Kurt RosenwinkelNOT TiGHT is available now digitally and on CD, with a vinyl release to follow on November 11.

Following their sold-out shows at the Blue Note Jazz Festival in NYC last month, DOMi & JD BECK will be performing at the Napa Valley festival this weekend. Last week the band made their TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with an incredible performance of TAKE A CHANCE featuring .Paak. Watch them perform WHATUP live at VEVO, and don’t miss the unforgettable official videos for TAKE CHANCE and SMiLE.

See what the critics have been saying about DOMi & JD BECK:

bold, bizarre, and intriguing just as every great new band ought to be. NME

Ambitious and accessible, fearless and endearingly freaky. The Guardian

a duo of virtuosic post-jazz Zoomers who seem to have leaped out of a cartoon, and whose wow factor is suited to the small screen… Redolent of lounge, 70’s fusion, trip-hop, and breakbeat, this LP offers [a] nonstop dopamine drip…New York Times

Since they first started breaking the internet with their hyperarticulate strain of beat music, DOMi and JD BECK have gradually burrowed their way into the jazz mainstream. Or maybe it’s that the mainstream has sidled up to them? However you want to put it, there’s no doubt that DOMi, the ponytailed keyboard savant born Domitille Degalle and Beck, the mop-headed drum virtuoso are now turning heads beyond the funhouse perimeter of viral stardom. NPR Music

The future is here. DOMi & JD BECK are two jazz prodigies signed to Anderson .Paak‘s Apeshit label, who are starting to build some serious buzz… they infuse child-like fun into complete and utter mastery of their instruments and itߣs them who will surely continue to spread the gospel of real next-level jazz music to future generations. 15. THANK U

Before now, if you wanted to learn about DOMi & JD BECK the internet’s most hyped jazz duo you had to visit their website, click a rat playing saxophone, and read a story about a 12-year-old physicist (DOMi Louna) and a 6-year-old sheep investigator (JD Beck). Let’s fix that. My philosophy of life is don’t take shit too seriously, says DOMi Louna, born Domitille Degalle. And that’s fair. But the vibrant world she and her collaborator have given us demands exploration.

They would reveal a bit more on their Instagram profiles, via clips of their jams, with JD on a simple drum kit and DOMi Louna on MIDI keys. She favors sounds that evoke ’70s jazz fusion and the colorful blips of 2000s Pokemon soundtracks, while he tunes and plays his snare in ways that can sound electronic, channeling IDM and boom bap. Sometimes they’re stuffed into a bathroom and sometimes the drums are muffled by pretzels stacked on the hi-hat, or toilet paper tossed on the snare. Their music finds both humor and greatness in harmonic complexity and rhythmic shiftiness, abruptly adopting and ditching tempos, toying with time signatures, and sneaking extra beats into bridges.

The collaboration began under silly circumstances. DOMi Louna was a teen proteg at Berklee by way of the Paris Conservatory; JD, four years her junior, had gigged since grade school around his hometown, Dallas first in producer Jah-Born’s band where he duetted with MPC beatmakers and DJs spinning Dilla. In 2018, they were both invited to join an ensemble performing at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) trade show and played in a room full of blaring instrumental demos, surrounded by a chaotic din. It was so bad, we couldn’t hear anything, JD laughs. They bonded over gauche keyboard effects and mom jokes, and a more audible jam that night sparked interest in working more.

Along the ride, DOMi & JD BECK have sat in with Herbie Hancock and backed Thundercat, Ariana Grande, Mac DeMarco, Eric Andre, and more. They also co-wrote Skate on .Paak’s GRAMMY-winning album with Bruno Mars as Silk Sonic. Neither can believe what’s happening, but leave it to them to skewer the moment. When JD suggests people might hate the new album, DOMi Louna says, That would be sick! Booo. They suck!

NEW ALBUM BEFORE WE GO DEEPER OUT NOW

Listen to her full-length debut album, Before We Go Deeper, via Epic Records  HERE.

Flaunting a myriad of moods, her spirt shines on the single “CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE. Clean throwback guitar threads through a head-nodding tambourine-driven beat as she relives the ups and downs of a rocky romance in a call-and-response chorus. At the heart of the track, she flexes her expansive vocal range, stretching from intimate intonation into moments of heavenly high register. The video is directed by Dennis Leupold.

With early pick up from Rated R&BVIBE MagazineUPROXXYouKnowIGotSoulandOkayplayer – BEFORE WE GO DEEPER evokes every side of INDIA’s inimitable style. “WHEN I CALL” glides on an otherworldly bounce as she urges, “Give me love, when I call, pick it up. Her voice flutters above acoustic guitar on the intimate “SAME FLOOR, while “JUST YOU” serves as sweet conclusion punctuated by a funky riff, swooning strings, and organic percussion. On the finale, she assures, “All I wanted is just you. Meanwhile, the project boasts fan favorites such as “CALI LOVE,” “DON’T PLAY WITH MY HEART, “TOO SWEET” [feat. Unknown Mortal Orchestra], “NOT TOO DEEP” [feat. 6LACK], and “MOVIN ON” [feat. Anderson .Paak].

ABOUT INDIA SHAWN
India Shawn is unfiltered and fearless. Listening to the rising R&B singer/songwriter’s music feels less like playing a record and more like catching up with an old friend. She bares all—nothing is off-limits. This vulnerable approach has informed all of the music she’s released over the last few years, but she applies it with a special focus on her new album Before We Go (Deeper). Over 14 songs, she reflects on emotional highs and lows, shares buried secrets, and traces the contours of world-shattering heartbreak. She projects these deeply personal musings through a kaleidoscope of old-school R&B and West Coast cool that is as heady as it is undeniable. Launching her career in famed writing collective Full Circle, Shawn initially made waves in the music industry by penning hits for Chris Brown, Diddy-Dirty Money, El DeBarge, and Keri Hilson. In between performing in Kanye West’s Sunday Service and touring with Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals, the rising artist built a loyal — and rapidly growing — following with independent releases such as Origin and Outer Limits, which showcase her soulful and seductive approach. After garnering over 20 million streams and receiving critical acclaim from NPR, Billboard, HYPEBEAST, Noisey, and UPROXX, Shawn is finally ready to share all of herself and empower an even larger audience with her deeply personal anthems. “I’m a voice for women who know their worth and what they want,” she says. “And won’t settle for anything less.”
