DJ SNAKE — YOU ARE MY HIGH

Today, multi-platinum producer DJ Snake unveils his latest release with new track “You Are My High”. On this record, the boundary-pushing disruptor fuses elements of traditional dance music with classic R&B funk to create a woozy electronic soundscape sure to be heard across the world this summer. The song, which samples the classic track “You Are My High” from The Gap Band, follows last week’s release of DJ Snake’s high-energy club anthem “Ring The Alarm” with Malaa. The two tracks arrive on the heels of DJ Snake’s announcement that he will be embarking on tour across Europe and North America, including dates with Malaa, starting on July 29th in Chicago, IL. In other news, seven-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Billie Eilish will make her Disney+ debut with “Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles,” a cinematic concert experience, premiering globally on Friday, September 3. Fresh off the heels of her brand-new album, “Happier than Ever,” the Disney+ original will feature an intimate performance of every song in the album’s sequential order – for the first and only time – from the stage of the legendary Hollywood Bowl. 

Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Oscar-winner Patrick Osborne the special will also include animated elements, taking viewers on a dreamlike journey through Billie’s hometown of Los Angeles and its most iconic backdrops. “Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles” features FINNEAS, the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel, and world renowned Brazilian guitarist, Romero Lubambo, with Orchestra Arrangements by David Campbell. “Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles” was produced by Interscope Films and Darkroom Productions, in associate with Nexus Studios and Aron Levine Productions, with Kerry Asmussen as the Live Concert Director and Pablo Berron as Director of Photography.

Starting February 3 in New Orleans, Billie Eilish’s sold-out HAPPIER THAN EVER, THE WORLD TOUR commences. Self-producing idols SEVENTEEN’s 8th EP Your Choice debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 yesterday.

Your Choice additionally catapulted to No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, ranking as America’s best-selling album of the week.

Released on June 18, the EP recorded 1.36 million sales during the first week of release, bringing in the act’s fourth million seller achievement and setting a new sales record with the most first-week sales of any album released in Korea in 2021.

TWICE’s new album, Taste of Love, marks their first Billboard Top 10 as the hit reaches #6.

Global K-pop icons, TWICE, officially reached the #6 chart-topping position on the Billboard 200 chart with their new album, Taste of Love, as well as #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart. This high Billboard 200 ranking marks a first for the group, jumping up 66 slots from their most recent #72 position for Eyes wide open. Taste of Love pushed the musical boundaries for the group, while in return earning TWICE their first top 10 album to date. The group initially ranked in the Billboard 200 chart in June 2020 with their album MORE & MORE, closely followed by Eyes wide open later that same year. To say TWICE had an impressive 12 months would be an understatement, but the group’s driving force remains the same. Bea Miller has released her new song wisdom teeth today, her first new music of the year. On the lush new track, Miller meditates on the lost innocence of her childhood as she recalls a time when she was four years old, staring at herself in the mirror in her tutu during her dance recital. Over the bouncy synths, she sings, I used to be so happy/No matter what happened to me/But when they pulled my teeth out /Lost the wisest part.

Nio García × Casper Mágico – “Now or Never” Hits Big

Nio García and Casper Mágico have taken over the Billboard charts with their first album together, “Now or Never,” which premiered this July 24th. The set of eighteen songs debuted on four Billboard charts, including two in the general market.

During its first week on the charts, “Now or Never” placed in the #5 position on Top Latin Albums, #4 on Latin Rhythm albums, #22 on Independent Albums, and #136 on the Billboard 200. It’s important to point out that this is the first time both Puerto Rican artists have conquered the prestigious Billboard charts together with one album.

Justin Bieber Tour Rescheduled

Justin Bieber reschedules his world tour dates and adds new shows

Grammy Award-winning Justin Bieber, announced his rescheduled world tour dates today.  The tour was to kick off in May but was postponed this Spring for the safety and health concerns of the fans and crew. The tour kicks off in San Diego at Pechanga Arena on June 2, 2021 and includes new arena stops in New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago and more. Unfortunately, Kehlani and Jaden Smith will not be appearing on the new dates, but new acts will be released soon.

“I can’t wait to get out there and connect with my fans on this tour,” said Justin. “We’ve been through so much this year. More than ever, we’ve come to understand how much we need each other, and how meaningful these moments can really be.”

Tickets for new shows go on sale to the general public starting Thursday, August 6th and $1.00 from each ticket will be donated to the Bieber Foundation, which is committed to mental health wellness.
