About Billy Ray Cyrus
Throughout his nearly three-decade career of Billboard chart success that put him in the same company as Carlos Santana and Louis Armstrong, Billy Ray Cyrus has achieved global success as a singer, songwriter, actor, producer and philanthropist. Most recently, he celebrated the highest RIAA® 14x Diamond-certified song in recorded music history with Lil Nas X on the worldwide smash, “Old Town Road (Remix ft. Billy Ray Cyrus).” When asked about his genre-bending approach to music, Cyrus recently shared, “My philosophy to making music is ‘no limitations’. No rules, no limits, no preconceived notions. Don’t try to think inside the box or outside the box, just think like there is no box.” The critically and commercially acclaimed superstar has established himself as a household name across multiple areas of the entertainment landscape, including music, television, theater and more. When one scopes out Cyrus’ trophy case, the awards are represented across all genres: GRAMMY® Awards, Billboard Music Awards, BET Hip Hop Awards, MTV VMA Moonmen, Country Music Association Awards, American Music Awards and Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Juno Awards, among many other accolades. The Flatwoods, KY native exploded onto the music scene when his first album, Some Gave All, debuted on the all-genre Billboard album chart at No. 1 and stayed there for a record-breaking 17 weeks in 1992. The lead single, “Achy Breaky Heart,” became a phenomenon and went multi-platinum. After “Achy Breaky Heart,” Cyrus followed up with back-to-back hits “It Could’ve Been Me,” “She’s Not Crying Anymore,” “Wher’m I Gonna Live When I Get Home?” and the anthemic “Some Gave All.” Cyrus knocked himself out of the top Billboard position with his second No. 1 album, It Won’t Be The Last, featuring smash hits “In the Heart of a Woman,” “Words By Heart,” and “Somebody New.” His success continued with dozens more singles that redefined country music. He also enjoyed a successful career as an actor in the series Doc and Still The King, as well as the hit Disney Channel series Hannah Montana with his daughter Miley. About Doja Cat:
3-time GRAMMY nominee Doja Cat made her first upload to Soundcloud in 2013 at just 16-years-old. Having grown up in and around the LA area, she developed a knack for music by studying piano and dance as a kid and listening to the likes of Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and more. Soon, she went from obsessing over Catwoman (the Halle Berry version) to “crate digging” on YouTube. The budding talent taught herself Logic and how to compose on a midi controller. Signed to Kemosabe/RCA in 2014, she released her Purrr! EP and followed that with her debut album Amala in spring 2018, but it was her August 2018 release of “Mooo!” which catapulted her into the mainstream and was met with critical acclaim.
Doja Cat released her sophomore album Hot Pink in November 2019 to mass critical acclaim, the album was a platinum success with over 10.3 billion streams worldwide. Hot Pink features “Juicy” which hit #1 at Rhythm radio, “Say So” her Grammy nominated #1 smash record and “Streets”, the viral sensation that soundtracked the ‘Silhouette Challenge,’ one of the biggest TikTok trends to date.
The success of “Say So” which hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been RIAA certified 3x platinum and streamed over 5.4 billion times catapulted Doja into global superstardom. In 2020 she took home the Best New Artist Award at the MTV VMAs, the MTV EMAs and the AMAs (where she also won the Best Female Soul/R&B Artist Award.) She has been nominated for countless awards including 3 GRAMMY Awards, 5 Billboard Music Awards, 4 American Music Awards, 4 MTV VMA Awards, 2 BET Awards, and 2 People’s Choice Awards.
Doja’s creativity and showmanship as a performer have been praised time and time again, she has delivered unique and show stopping performances on nearly all the major Award Show stages including the GRAMMY Awards, the American Music Awards, the Billboard Awards and the MTV VMA and EMA Awards. Her last tour sold out in 10 minutes, and she has played numerous festivals including Rap Caviar Live Miami, Posty Fest, Day n Vegas and Rolling Loud LA.

GLASS ANIMALS DELIVER DREAMY PERFORMANCE OF “HEAT WAVES” ON BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS
Last night, Glass Animals delivered their first-ever U.S. awards show performance, as they took the outdoor stage at the Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles to perform their global smash hit Heat Waves live. The band has been delivering some of the most colorful and creative live performances throughout quarantine, and last night did not disappoint. Featuring a pastel art sculpture by French artist Cyril Lancelin titled pyramid pillows, the band gave a signature, high-energy performance to a live audience of vaccinated fans. Not only was this Glass Animals’ first-ever U.S. awards show, but it was also their first live U.S. performance since their last show pre-Covid lockdown in March 2020 at Los Angeles’ iconic Troubadour.
The Billboard Music Awards performance caps a very exciting week for the band. Last Thursday, they released a collaboration with fast-rising UK popstar Bree Runway on their huge track Space Ghost Coast To Coast, taken from their acclaimed 2020 album Dreamland. The band also recently dropped a trippy video for the song. Not to mention, last week Glass Animals were announced as a performer on Good Morning America’s 2021 Summer Concert Series lineup – tune in on Tuesday, July 20th on ABC. Glass Animals are gearing up for their North American Dreamland Tour, which sold over 130,000 tickets in just 3 days and is quickly selling out with new shows being added. The run kicks off August 30th in Lewiston, NY and takes the band across North America well into 2022. The shows add to their already sold-out UK tour dates, previously announced 2022 Red Rocks shows and confirmed festival performances at Bonnaroo, Life Is Beautiful, Firefly Festival, Outside Lands and more.
Dreamland, the band’s hugely popular third full-length album, entered UK charts on its opening week at #2 (their highest ever scoring chart position, a massive 21 spots above their last album, Mercury Prize nominated How To Be A Human Being) and charted inside the top 10 in the US, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. The album clocked up 160 million streams in its first week of release.
Glass Animals have experienced their most successful year to date, with their hit Heat Waves being crowned #1 on Triple J’s Hottest 100 – an accolade not given to a UK band since 2009 with previous winners including Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish – receiving a sync placement on FIFA, then an organic Minecraft affiliation, whereby the YouTuber LoverFella (2.45M subscribers) rebuilt a Glass Animals fan’s base and surprised her with a meet and greet with the band who were waiting inside. Heat Waves peaked at #1 on the Alternative Radio Chart for 3 consecutive weeks, a first for Glass Animals in their career. The track currently nears the Top 15 on the Top 40 Radio Chart and is making similar moves at Hot AC and AAA. Heat Waves held the #1 spot on the ARIA Official Singles Chart in Australia for 6 consecutive weeks, marking the band’s first #1 single globally and the longest #1 in 2021 for Australia. It has had over 530 million combined streams, and to date, “Heat Waves” peaked at over 2 million daily streams and has received over 23 million views of the video on YouTube. Glass Animals hit a new Spotify monthly listener peak of 18.4 million, surpassing the likes of Tame Impala, Gorillaz, The 1975 and The Strokes.

GRAMMY Award-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE have returned with Banks, the fifth song off their highly anticipated new album Out of Body. The track is available to stream and download starting today HERE. Watch a visualizer for the track HERE. Out of Body is due for release on August 28, 2020 via Elektra Records/Centricity Music, and is available for pre-order and pre-save now HERE. Limited edition merch bundles and experiences are available exclusively through NEEDTO BREATHE online store HERE.
“This song is about the women in our lives… they are strong, ambitious, patient, caring, and intelligent forces of nature, the band shared. Banks is our way of saying we support you and that there’s nothing more beautiful than watching you effortlessly become the very thing you were made to be.”
Earlier this week, NEEDTOBREATHE announced they will welcome their new album with Celebrating Out of Body, a fully immersive concert experience directed by acclaimed filmmaker Elizabeth Olmstead (Brandi Carlile, The Highwomen) that will see the band perform their new songs live for the very first time. Streamed from the studio in Nashville, TN, this high definition audio and video experience will put fans right in the middle of a live performance to celebrate the album’s release. Celebrating Out of Body will take place on Friday, August 28th at 9:00pm ET. Tickets are available now HERE.
NEEDTOBREATHE introduced Out of Body in April with the release of anthemic lead single Hang On and ballad Seasons. American Songwriter claimed, Hang On could easily be the next summertime sing-along, and E! News praised the track as The sort of anthem we all need right about now. Hang On has already soundtracked a national campaign for the PGA Tour’s Impact Initiative and been featured in the season finale of American Idol. Last month, NEEDTOBREATHE launched the album’s pre-order, and shared its third song Survival (feat. Drew & Ellie Holcomb). The band also shared the emotionally charged track Who Am I. Fans who pre-order Out of Body will receive immediate downloads of all five songs the band has unveiled.
On Out of Body, the platinum-certified trio, Bear Rinehart [vocals, guitar], Seth Bolt [bass, vocals], and Josh Lovelace [keys, vocals], examine life, family, and friends through a youthful prism. The guys take stock of not only two decades as a band, but also first-time fatherhood and the future over a rich soundtrack of soulful rock with stadium-size scope and poetic intimacy. After spending a week at a beach house in Charleston to gather thoughts and ideas, the trio headed to Nashville, to record alongside producers Cason Cooley and Jeremy Lutito. As they cultivated a team atmosphere, the songs organically came to life.
Out of Body follows 2016’s H A R D L O V E, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Current Album Sales Chart, and featured the gold-certified title track Hard Love.
GRAMMY Award-nominated NEEDTOBREATHE have mounted a steady ascent to the top of the charts and packed arenas everywhere. Formed in 1998, the group attracted a loyal grassroots following with their full-length debut Daylight and its follow-up The Heat . Two years later, The Outsiders became their first Top 20 entry on the Billboard Top 200 before eventually going gold. During 2011, The Reckoning landed at #1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart and #6 on the Top 200. In addition to bowing at #3 on the Top 200, 2014’s Rivers in the Wasteland yielded the platinum-selling Hot 100 hit Brother [feat. Gavin DeGraw] and Multiplied, which garnered their first GRAMMY nod. Meanwhile, H A R D L O V E marked their highest chart bow yet, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Top Current Album Sales Chart, as the title track Hard Love [feat. Andra Day] scored a gold plaque. Along the way, they headlined and sold out iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Greek Theatre, and Ryman Auditorium, to name a few. The group picked up a pair of nominations at the Billboard Music Awards, and received praise from People, Rolling Stone, Forbes, and more. “A story that’s still unfolding, this small collection of songs explores an emotional rollercoaster period in my life when the feelings and thoughts were most shockingly fresh,” explains Troye Sivan. “Revisiting these songs and moments is tough, but I’m proud of this music and excited to have it out in the world.”
Troye recorded five of the EP’s six songs with producer Oscar Görres (The Weeknd, MARINA, Tove Lo) between Stockholm and Los Angeles, just prior to the lockdown. The leadoff track, “Take Yourself Home,” trended at #1 on Twitter worldwide following its release earlier this year and has now attained over 76 million cumulative global streams. The New York Times hailed “Take Yourself Home” as an “understatedly lush quasi-soul thumper.” PAPER said, “It’s perhaps the first great song to come out of our collective apocalyptic state of mind during the COVID-19 outbreak.” IN A DREAM is now available for pre-order HERE. Music bundles, including a deluxe CD package, are available HERE.
In his career to date, Troye has amassed nearly eight billion combined global streams. His sophomore album, Bloom (Capitol Records), was named as one of the best albums of 2018 by critics at Rolling Stone, USA Today, Billboard, OUT, NPR Music, The Guardian and numerous other publications. TIME said, “Troye Sivan is the perfect pop star.” He was recently named as one of five ambassadors to launch the Pasha de Cartier watch. His numerous awards include a Billboard Music Awards trophy, three MTV Europe Music awards and two GLAAD Media wins.
“Revelation” – his collaboration with Jónsi for the film Boy Erased, which Troye co-starred in – was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song – Motion Picture and shortlisted for an Oscar. “Louder Than Bombs,” a track Troye co-wrote, is featured on the new BTS album, Map of The Soul: 7, which debuted at No. 1 in the U.S., Korea, Australia and around the world.

The five-time GRAMMY® Award-winning multiplatinum rap icon, Young Money Entertainment founder, acclaimed author, skater, philanthropist, and history-making superstar left an indelible tattoo on the culture. By 2020, he cemented his legacy forever as “one of the best-selling artists of all time,” tallying sales in excess of 100 million records worldwide with 15 million albums and 37 million digital tracks sold in the United States alone. Not to mention, he garnered 11 BET Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, two MTV VMAs, and eight NCAAP Image Awards. Among many milestones, he emerged as “the first male artist to surpass Elvis Presley with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100,” logging a staggering 109 entries.

Not only did it clinch #1 on the Billboard Top 200, but it also achieved “the second-largest streaming week for an album in history.” Every song on the tracklisting charted on the Billboard Hot 100 as he became “the first artist to debut two songs in the top 5.” It all bulldozed the way for his thirteenth full-length, Funeral, a year later. Simultaneously , Wayne owns and operates Young Money Entertainment as C.E.O. The company ignited the careers of two of the most successful artists ever—Drake and Nicki Minaj.
