Flaunting a myriad of moods, her spirt shines on the single “CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE. Clean throwback guitar threads through a head-nodding tambourine-driven beat as she relives the ups and downs of a rocky romance in a call-and-response chorus. At the heart of the track, she flexes her expansive vocal range, stretching from intimate intonation into moments of heavenly high register. The video is directed by Dennis Leupold.

On the finale, she assures, “All I wanted is just you. Meanwhile, the project boasts fan favorites such as “CALI LOVE,” “DON’T PLAY WITH MY HEART, “TOO SWEET” [feat. Unknown Mortal Orchestra], “NOT TOO DEEP” [feat. 6LACK], and “MOVIN ON” [feat. Anderson .Paak].

ABOUT INDIA SHAWN
India Shawn is unfiltered and fearless. Listening to the rising R&B singer/songwriter’s music feels less like playing a record and more like catching up with an old friend. She bares all—nothing is off-limits. This vulnerable approach has informed all of the music she’s released over the last few years, but she applies it with a special focus on her new album Before We Go (Deeper). Over 14 songs, she reflects on emotional highs and lows, shares buried secrets, and traces the contours of world-shattering heartbreak. She projects these deeply personal musings through a kaleidoscope of old-school R&B and West Coast cool that is as heady as it is undeniable. Launching her career in famed writing collective Full Circle, Shawn initially made waves in the music industry by penning hits for Chris Brown, Diddy-Dirty Money, El DeBarge, and Keri Hilson. In between performing in Kanye West’s Sunday Service and touring with Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals, the rising artist built a loyal — and rapidly growing — following with independent releases such as Origin and Outer Limits, which showcase her soulful and seductive approach. After garnering over 20 million streams and receiving critical acclaim from NPR, Billboard, HYPEBEAST, Noisey, and UPROXX, Shawn is finally ready to share all of herself and empower an even larger audience with her deeply personal anthems. “I’m a voice for women who know their worth and what they want,” she says. “And won’t settle for anything less.”

This time around, she made a conscious decision to hark back to the signature sound she introduced on her 2015 full-length debut, TITLE, and bring it forward to today.

About the album, Meghan said, “I tried to do the doo-wop feel I had at the beginning of my career, but the 2022 version of it. This is from the new Meghan who is a wife and mom with a baby. This is from me right now. I decided to give the people what they want, but with my spices added to it. I wanted to make my Title 2.0.

To bring the record to life, she worked closely alongside a “core squad” of Gian StoneFederico VindverSean Douglas, and little brother Justin Trainor out of her own home studio. Musically, she integrates doo-wop and classic harmonies into one anthem after another taking you through her journey into marriage, motherhood, and achieving a new level of confidence.

It’s embodied on the bold and bright new single  “Bad For Me,” featuring Teddy Swims, out today. The track finds the powerhouse tapping into her doo-wop roots once more with a whole lot of fresh fire. Throwback harmonies underline a simmering groove as she opens up lyrically. On the chorus, she urges, “Please don’t make promises that you can’t keep. Your best intentions end up hurting me.” Meanwhile, Teddy appears with a seismic and show-stopping vocal turn of his own. Together, they uplift the lyrics with undeniable energy. Listen HERE.

Directed by Thom Kerr (Iggy Azalea, Kim Petras), the accompanying video finds Meghan and Teddy in a symbolic and surreal world full of flowers. As the video fluctuates between different landscapes, it showcases the journey that writing and recording this song has taken Meghan on. It’s one in which she has found light and new beginnings in distancing herself from toxic relationships. Watch HERE.

Regarding “Bad For Me, Meghan commented, “My dad actually sent me Teddy’s video for ‘Broke’, and I’ve been so obsessed with him ever since. It’s a dream to record with someone who has that good of a voice, and he’s the sweetest guy ever. The song is a true story for me. It’s about how I stood up for myself and took a step back from a relationship that was hurting me more than anything. It’s hard to do, but I needed to in order to feel better.

Meghan and Teddy will be performing “Bad For Me,” for the first time, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Friday, June 24th. Get ready for more very soon as Meghan takes it back in 2022.

Gearing up for the R&B event of the year, GRAMMY-nominated multi-platinum R&B star GIVĒON will unveil his anxiously awaited full-length debut album, Give Or Take, on June 24, 2022 via Not So Fast/Epic Records. It is available for pre-order/pre-save HERE.

Setting the stage for the record, the Long Beach singer just shared a cinematic and stylish trailer for the album. Watch it HERE. Scenes of live footage and memories intercut with these pensive moments, conveying tension and emotion all at once.

He recently heralded Give Or Take with the ballad “Lie Again.” It has already amassed over 8.9 million Spotify streams and 4.4 million YouTube views on the music video. Right out of the gate, Rolling Stone hailed it as “beautifully painful, and Complex proclaimed, “He shows his strength in vocals as he asks his partner to lie to him about past indiscretions.

Stay tuned for more from GIVĒON soon.

Last September, GIVĒON shared “For Tonight,” the lead single off his forthcoming debut LP which is now RIAA certified Gold. ABOUT GIVĒON

GIVĒON has made himself one of music’s brightest stars by bringing vivid color, depth, and soul to songs that capture the intensity of life’s twists and turns. After coming to fame via Drake’s “Chicago Freestyle,” the CA native became a force in his own right. GIVĒON had a whirlwind 2020 after releasing his Platinum-certified “Like I Want You” (225 million cross-platform streams in the US). He kept the momentum with “Heartbreak Anniversary,” a gauzy ballad that peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, garnered over 951 million worldwide streams, and earned 2X Platinum status. In March 2020, GIVĒON’s debut EP, Take Time, confirmed his evocative songwriting prowess and would be nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2021 Grammys. His fall When It’s All Said and Done EP further explored the peaks and valleys of love and, when re-packaged with its predecessor in 2021, hit #5 on the Billboard 200. After being nominated for a 2020 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding New Artist, he won BET’s 2021 Best New Artist, and his audience is growing—to the tune of over 1.7 billion streams globally. He even hit #1 on the Hot 100 in March on Justin Bieber’s “Peaches.” That hit helped him win the award for Best Pop Song at the 2021 MTV VMA‘s where he was nominated for seven awards including Best New Artist, Best R&B and Best Pop Song. Drake then invited GIVĒON back into his world, this time for a sizzling verse on Certified Lover Boy’s “In the Bible” with Lil Durk—one of a guaranteed run of thrilling collabs to come. And at his festival debut, Lollapalooza 2021, he found a sea of voices who knew his lyrics. But success has never really been a goal— GIVĒON just wants to bear his soul.

Bia and J. Cole new song via 360 MAGAZINE

BIA × J COLE

BIA underlines her international appeal on irresistible new single “London,” out via Epic Records. The braggadocious track, which features Grammy-winning rap icon J Cole, is heavily influenced by U.K. drill — albeit with a swagger that is all BIA’s own. Listen HERE. The record is produced by AzizTheShake and co producers Jon Glass & Tim Nihan.

Since the song’s debut, it’s reached the #5 spot on YouTube’s trending page for music and has now surpassed 3,000,000 views in total.

BIA is making a splash with her first official single of 2022 by recruiting J. Cole for “London.” COMPLEX said.

Bia goes from wearing her jewelry at the bodega to shopping near Big Ben as she brings her own flair to the drill rap style of the U.K. as she’s joined by J. Cole on “London,” out Thursday,” said The Rolling Stone

“BIA’s new song, “London,” is already a hit on social media, with fans praising the rapper’s tongue-in-cheek British-isms and guest rapper J. Cole’s jaw-dropping featured verse,” said UPROXX

The accompanying music video is set in an overcast London, but the Boston-bred artist’s starpower shines through (as does her drip) the British gloom. Watch HERE.

From perfectly placed high-fashion name drops to pristine, U.K. slang-filled bars – “He never met no one like me / It’s pretty funny how now they all like me, innit?”  BIA’s “London” is a winning mix of style and smarts. Cole also stays on theme, rapping: “Blokes going broke tryin’ to keep up with Cole, but I make it back soon as I spend it.” Both MCs bring their A-game.

The dynamic visual similarly celebrates all things British with Instagram-ready scenes from the U.K. capital. BIA shops at the most luxurious stores during the day, and then struts down the sidewalk — Cruella de Vil-style, flanked by two dalmatians — at night. The multi-talented artist then hosts a tea party, before sailing down the Thames with Cole.

The luxurious theme of “London” recalls BIA’s 2020 platinum single “Whole Lotta Money,” which received a Nicki Minaj remix on the deluxe version of her For Certain EP. The trap&B smash debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and charted for 17 weeks overall. For Certain (Deluxe) also houses “Can’t Touch This,” which netted over 15.5 million Spotify streams. With “London,” BIA makes it clear that her influence knows no bounds. At home and abroad.
