NEW RULES – LATE IN THE EVENING

NEW RULES DEBUT NEW SINGLE “LATE IN THE EVENING”

OFFICIAL VISUAL STREAMING NOW

U.S. HEADLINE TOUR KICKS OFF NOVEMBER 28 IN PHILADELPHIA, PA

UK/Irish trio New Rules have debuted new single “Late In The Evening.” Written by Jamie Scott (One Direction, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran) and co-produced by the band, the heartfelt track arrives alongside an official visual, which made its broadcast premiere today on MTV Live, MTVU and MTV Biggest Pop. The visual is streaming now on the band’s YouTube channel. “Late In The Evening” is available now on all streaming platforms via Elektra.

The group expanded on the track, “Late in the Evening’ feels like a timeless record. The idea of desperately trying to win someone back turned into an anthem is something we can’t wait to hear our fans screaming back at us.”

Later this month, the trio will head out on a U.S. headline tour, which kicks off November 28 in Philadelphia, PA and hits New York City’s famed Bowery Ballroom on December 1 before concluding in Atlanta, GA on December 7 (tour itinerary below). Tickets for all dates are available now. For up-to-date ticketing information, please visit www.newrulesband.com

This summer, New Rules released Go The Distance (Extended Version), available now via Elektra. The extended mixtape includes stripped-down versions of “Go The Distance” and “Love You Like That” and live offerings of “Drunk Texts” and “Lucky Me.” The offering also arrived alongside a live video for “Lucky Me,” which is streaming now on the band’s official YouTube channel.

In June, the group shared their debut mixtape Go The Distance, which racked up praise from PEOPLE Magazine, who named the trio one of their Emerging Artists To Watch. Rolling Stone UK applauded the mixtape’s “pop-driven earworms,” while Sweety High attested New Rules are “going places.” The band celebrated the release with their intimate “New Songs For New People” debut U.S. headline shows, which included sold-out performances at New York City’s Mercury Lounge and The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles. New Rules also performed two sold-out hometown shows in Dublin, Ireland and London, UK in August.

The mixtape was heralded by title track “Go The Distance,” produced by Sir Nolan [Selena Gomez, Tate McRae, Shawn Mendes] and co-produced and co-written with Kieran Shudall of Circa Waves. The single, which bounces between a slick bass line, handclaps, and glossy synths, is accompanied by an official lyric video on the band’s official YouTube channel.

Last fall, the group announced their signing to Elektra and shared new singles “Really Wanna Dance With You” and “Cheers.” The tracks racked up praise, with Sweety High celebrating the “catchy chorus and beat that’s impossible to resist,” of “Really Wanna Dance With You” while Wonderland Magazine attested “New Rules are set to become the next big thing.” Entirely written and co-produced by the band, the group’s 2022 name songs EP ignited a flurry of activity on TikTok.

About New Rules:

For New Rules, three guitars and three voices converge upon one stadium-size sound. The London-based trio – Alec McGarry, Nathan Lambert, and Ryan Meaney – elevate pop to the rafters fueled by singer-songwriter soul, rock n’ roll spirit, and a whole lot of personality. With Ryan from Ireland, Alec from Hertfordshire, and Nathan from Chelmsford, the boys initially met online, bonding over similar backgrounds playing music on street corners, uploading covers online, and penning original material. The musicians congregated in London and introduced New Rules with “Call It” and “Fix Somebody” during 2019. Beyond hitting the road with Julia Michaels, Little Mix, and Picture This, they’ve sold out successive headline tours. Following the viral success of “Pasta” and “Emily,” they caught the attention of Elektra Records and signed to the label in 2021. This summer, the trio released their debut mixtape Go The Distance, which racked up praise from PEOPLE Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone UK, and more, in addition to selling out UK shows and their first-ever U.S. dates earlier this year.

(No Label went on to receive a sequel in 2014.) However, it wasn’t until the release of the track “Versace” from their 2013 mixtape, Young Rich N*ggas, that they came to full prominence. The song was a breakout hit, receiving further exposure when Drake produced a remix. In 2014, Quavo was named “most influential rapper” by the online hip-hop community Complex Music. In subsequent years, he appeared on further releases with Migos, most notably their full-length albums Yung Rich Nation (2015) and C U L T U R E (2017). He also appeared on tracks like “Champions” for Kanye West‘s GOOD Music label and performed alongside Young Thug on 2016’s “Fuck Cancer,” and on 2017’s “Go Off” with Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert for the Fate of the Furious movie soundtrack. Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, a collaborative project with Travis Scott, was also released in 2017. The following year, Quavo released a series of solo singles, including “Workin Me” and “Bubble Gum.” Those tracks found their way onto his official solo debut, Quavo Huncho, which arrived in October 2018. The album featured guests such as Drake, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, 21 Savage, Offset, Takeoff, and even Madonna. Quavo continued adding flare to other artists’ singles with featured verses over the next few years, appearing on tracks by E-40, Don Toliver, Iggy Azalea, Major Lazer, 2 Chainz, and many others. In 2018, Quavo was featured on DJ Khaled‘s “No Brainer,” which peaked at number five on the charts, and in 2020 he was featured on another track that hit that mark with his contributions to Justin Bieber‘s single “Intentions.” He also issued several singles of his own, including the 2021 song “Strub Tha Ground,” featuring Yung Miami. The following year saw Quavo team up with Takeoff on the singles “Hotel Lobby”, “Us vs Them” ft. Gucci Mane, and most recently “Big Stunna” ft. Birdman.

ABOUT TAKEOFF

Takeoff is the youngest member of trap trendsetters Migos, whose songs “Versace” and “Bad and Boujee” became major streaming hits, and whose 2017 sophomore album, Culture, topped the pop charts in both the U.S. and Canada. Along with his contributions to Migos, Takeoff released his solo full-length debut, The Last Rocket in 2018, along with singles like the 2022 Rich the Kid collaboration “Crypto.”

Born Kirshnik Khari Ball on June 18, 1994 in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Takeoff started Migos in 2009 with family members Quavo and Offset in a bid to escape the ghetto cycle of poverty and crime. Their breakthrough single, “Versace,” came out in 2013; the album Yung Rich Nation followed in 2015, and Culture came two years later. Takeoff’s non-appearance on the album’s 2016 lead single, “Bad and Boujee,” caused a minor Internet controversy; he brushed it off, claiming he was simply unavailable for the recording session. In May of 2017, he released his first solo track, “Intruder.” Takeoff occasionally appeared solo as a featured performer on tracks by other artists, including Jose Guapo, Chill Will, and, most notably, Calvin Harris, on the song “Holiday” from the Scottish producer’s 2017 album Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 1.

Migos’ third album, the lengthy, 24-track Culture II, was released in January 2018. Takeoff made his own full-length debut in November of that year with The Last Rocket, which debuted in the Top Four on both the R&B/hip-hop chart and the Billboard 200. Appearances on various singles followed over the next few years, including featured roles alongside Rich the Kid on “Too Blessed” and YRN Lingo on “All Time High,” both released in 2020. In 2022 he reunited with Rich the Kid for woozy recent single “Crypto” and teamed up with Quavo on the new singles “Hotel Lobby”, “Us vs Them” ft. Gucci Mane, and “Big Stunna” ft. Birdman.

Putin will not go to the funeral of the last leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, who died on August 30, because his work schedule does not allow it. “We know that the farewell ceremony will take place on September 3, and also the funeral, but unfortunately the president’s work schedule will not allow him to attend on September 3, so he decided to do it today,” he said. Dimitri Peskov (Putin‘s spokesman). The Russian leader said goodbye yesterday, September 1, to the first president of the Soviet Union at the Central Clinical Hospital in Moscow (Russia), before flying to Kaliningrad.

MADISON BEER RELEASES NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO “DANGEROUS” AHEAD OF READING AND LEEDS PERFORMANCES

WATCH HERE

Today, Madison Beer releases her new single “Dangerous” with its official music video. The drop comes ahead of her performances in the UK this weekend at the Reading and Leeds festivals, where she’ll perform “Dangerous” live for the first time. You can listen to the track here via EPIC Records.

“Dangerous” is co-produced and co-written by Madison alongside Tobias Jesso Jr and James Francies, as well as longtime collaborators Tim Sommers, Jeremy “Kinetics” Dussolliet, and Leroy Clampitt. The song is a beautiful showcase of Madison’s vocals through lush harmonies and dreamy production, complete with an ethereal string arrangement. The cinematic visual, co-directed by Madison, finds the rising pop star in an emotional performance of the track, centerstage amongst an orchestra ensemble.

“Dangerous is the start of a more honest, vulnerable and mature chapter,” says Madison. “It’s about accepting that some situations didn’t pan out the way you imagined. And it’s about questioning your own responsibility in a relationship. I’m really excited for fans to hear this new side and hope they love it as much as I do!”

Following unprecedented success as an independent artist, rising pop star Madison Beer released her major label album debut Life Support, in early 2021. The album, a strong personal and artistic statement, received acclaim from the likes of V Magazine, Nylon, and NME who called it a “thrilling listen.” Life Support features certified platinum single “Selfish,” and “Boyshit,” which Billboard said “makes a late case for one of the best pop chorus openings of 2020.” The album saw Madison continue to be at the helm of her artistry through writing her own songs, producing, and creating her own visuals. Prior to “Dangerous,” she released “Reckless,” the first track to come from her upcoming project. The song was her personal best streaming week debut on Spotify and currently has over 234 million streams on the platform.

Over the years Madison has proven herself as a powerful brand partner, most recently as an ambassador for Fenty Beauty. Previously she partnered with Morphe Cosmetics to create a signature line, which was showcased in her edition of Vogue’s marquee video series “Beauty Secrets.” Her episode became one of the highest performing installments with over 12 million views on YouTube and went viral on TikTok, selling out the Morphe products featured globally for 6 months. Madison is also the face of Victoria’s Secret’s line of Tease Fragrances, with a campaign shot by legendary photographer Mario Sorrenti. Currently, Madison has over 4.2 billion streams across her catalog globally and commands a highly engaged social following of over 32 million on Instagram, 17 million on TikTok, and 3 million on Twitter.

DJ KHALED – GOD DID

It’s almost THAT time, DJ Khaled has personally revealed the title of his anxiously awaited thirteenth full-length in studio album, GOD DID, coming soon via We The Best Music Group/Epic Records. He immediately set social media on fire with the announcement of the album’s name. The phrase, GOD DID, has become synonymous with Khaled as of late. Fellow superstars such as Lebron James, Kevin Hart, FANLUV and so many more have adopted it as their mantra. It’s a phrase that is about to forever shape the culture and define 2022.

Recently, Khaled has teased the release of new music with a series of posts on social media joined by the likes of Drake, Future, Lil Baby, and more in the studio. He’s stirring up anticipation to a fever pitch and will deliver anthems yet again.

He’s kept very busy throughout 2022. He made headlines with an appearance on stage at the Academy Awards where he opened up the show, and he notably received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Plus, he served as a presenter, twice, at the Billboard Music Awards.

Last year, Khaled unleashed his twelfth full-length album, KHALED KHALED [We The Best Music Group/Epic Records]. It arrived as his third #1 debut on the Billboard Top 200, sixth #1 on the Top Rap Albums Chart, and fourth #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. It also reached platinum status.

Get ready for more from Khaled. Two words say it all, GOD DID.

ABOUT DJ KHALED:

For over two decades, the very mention of DJ Khaled has implied an elevated level of musical greatness, entrepreneurial excellence, and cultural impact. You’ve heard him across a GRAMMY Award-winning multiplatinum catalog, seen him in blockbusters such as Bad Boys For Life, caught him on the cover of Rolling Stone, watched him on numerous television programs, and felt his presence from the streets all the way up to the Barack Obama White House. He has achieved dozens of multiplatinum and gold certifications, including the 9x multi-platinum Billboard Hot 100 #1 I’m The One [feat. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper & Lil Wayne], 6x multi-platinum Wild Thoughts [feat. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller], and double-platinum No Brainer [feat. Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper & Quavo]. The latter propelled his 2019 album, Father of Asahd [We The Best Music Group/Epic Records], to the top of the charts. Not only did it garner a platinum certification, but it also became his third consecutive Top 2 debut on the Billboard Top 200 and emerged as the #1 Most-Streamed Record upon release. To date, he has moved over 20 million singles and 6 million albums in addition to gathering 4 billion-plus streams.

Not to mention, he launched We The Best Music Group a record label, management, publishing, and production company and in-demand studio. As a committed philanthropist, he founded his 501(c)3 organization The We The Best Foundation. It uplifts individuals throughout underserved communities across the United States and supports various non-profits. He has supported the fight against COVID-19. U2 frontman Bono recruited him as the first social media ambassador for Project Red, and he serves as the national spokesperson for Get Schooled. Now, the power of this legacy defines his twelfth full-length album which bears his birth name Khaled Khaled [We The Best Music Group/Epic Records], preceded by two chart-busting bangers alongside frequent collaborator Drake, namely POPSTAR and GREECE.
