Gayle – abcdefu

17-year-old rising pop singer-songwriter GAYLE has debuted a stripped back version of her Atlantic Records debut single “abcdefu.” The original version has quickly amassed over 17M global streams. The emotional acoustic version of “abcdefu” is streaming now via YouTube HERE, which has been praised by Blackbook for its “earnest intensity.” “This video is to honor the girl who played in her bedroom for a year-and-a-half,” says GAYLE.

GAYLE celebrated the success of her fiery single “abcdefu” with three other alternate versions. “abcdefu (demo),” “abcdefu (chill),” and “abcdefu (angrier)” are streaming now via DSPs and streaming services. Each version showcases a different side of the versatile song.  The original version of “abcdefu” has amassed over 17M global streams and is available now at all DSPs and streaming services HERE; an official music video is streaming now via YouTube HERE. GAYLE has already garnered some of pop’s most influential playlists and the song continues to grow in streams every single week since its launch just over a month ago. Produced by Pete Nappi (Kesha, Anne Marie, Madison Beer, Illenium), “abcdefu” arrives as a glowing example of GAYLE’s gift for fusing raw sincerity with an idiosyncratic and sometimes irreverent perspective. With its minimalist backdrop of jagged guitar work, the tongue-in-cheek breakup song explodes into a glorious free-for-all at its gang-vocal-fueled chorus. But “abcdefu” also telegraphs the Nashville-based artist’s refusal to compromise her own needs.

Along with the new versions of “abcdefu,” GAYLE has announced that she will serve as support on the upcoming Winnetka Bowling League tour. Tickets are on sale now- see the full list of dates below, and visit https://www.wbleague.com/ for more info.

UPSAHL — “TIME OF MY LIFE”

“An artist who’s as great at writing a hook as she is at singing one” —BILLBOARD

“Bold and brash, she holds nothing back” —SPIN

“Exudes an infectious sense of confidence that provides an aura of empowerment for her listeners” —V MAGAZINE

“If you aren’t already a full-time UPSAHL stan, firstly: What’s wrong with you?” —COSMOPOLITAN

Today, critically acclaimed trailblazer UPSAHL releases her new single “Time of my Life,” an introspective anthem off of her debut album due out this October on Arista Records. The pensive track’s melodic hook and punchy chorus put UPSAHL’s addictive sound and songwriting prowess front and center.

Directed by George Gallardo Kattah, the playful video juxtaposes present-day UPSAHL with a younger version of herself, allowing moments of childhood nostalgia to manifest in the now. Raw and vulnerable, UPSAHL invites viewers to tag along as she wonders, “How come all the worst days are in the time of my life?”

Of the song, UPSAHL explains, “I wrote ‘Time of my Life’ about being the happiest I’ve ever been, while simultaneously being the saddest I’ve ever been. I’m at a place in my life where I feel like the highs are really really high, but on the flip side, it makes the impact of the lows even lower. The day we wrote this song, I had the line: ‘How come all the worst days are in the time of my life?’ dancing around in my head. So we ended up making that the chorus and building the rest of the song around it.”

Of the video, she added, “For the music video, George, the director, and I really wanted to emphasize the nostalgia that this song sparks. Personally, I feel like some of my most reflective moments are in the shower, so we wanted the video to take place there, while flashing back to some of the best and worst moments of my life. We wanted it to feel very dramatic and introspective, so we shot the video on a high speed camera at 60-1000 frames per second to make it all look like it’s moving in slow motion.”

You can listen to and watch “Time of My Life” HERE.

“Time of my Life” follows on the heels of UPSAHL’s recent single “Melatonin,” a “bright, buoyant” (Billboard) track exemplifying the iconoclast’s musical depth and creating another important stop in the journey to her upcoming debut album.

You can watch the “Melatonin” music video HERE.

In just a few short years, UPSAHL has penned numerous hits spanning various genres such as Dua Lipa’s “Good in Bed,” Madison Beer’s fiery single “BOYSHIT,” and “Happy Endings” with Mike Shinoda and iann dior. Most recently, UPSAHL collaborated with Anne-Marie and Little Mix and co-wrote
“Kiss My (Uh Oh),” released last week. UPSAHL’s track “Stop” was also featured on episode 3 of HBO’s new Gossip Girl revival.

UPSAHL will perform a run of fall dates across the U.S. opening for Olivia O’Brien kicking off August 30th at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. She will also make her first-ever headline show debut at the Courtyard Theatre in London this fall on October 12th.

Madison Beer × Reckless

MADISON BEER RELEASES NEW SINGLE “RECKLESS” TODAY

2021 TOUR DATES ON SALE NOW

Madison Beer releases “Reckless,” a powerful vocal statement from the rising pop star and the first single to come from her next project. The soaring track, co-written and co-produced by Madison, follows the announcement of her 2021 fall tour, tickets on sale now. You can stream “Reckless” here via Epic Records.

“’Reckless’ was written about how easy it is for some people in relationships to hurt others and move on without any guilt,” says Madison. “People have so much power over their partner’s feelings, yet many still choose to treat each other carelessly. I believe there is a balance to putting ourselves and our feelings first, while knowing we have the responsibility of treating people with respect, kindness, and consideration. It’s so important to find that balance in every relationship and knowing when to move on if you can’t.”

The release of “Reckless” follows the announcement of Madison’s highly anticipated 2021 tour and two-day Las Vegas residency, both of which are on sale now. For a complete list of tour dates and ticket information, visit the Madison Beer website. Dates and ticket information for the Resorts World Las Vegas residency can be found at here.

Surf Mesa and Madison Beer celebrate the euphoria of young love in the new single, “Carried Away,” released today by Astralwerks—just in time for Valentine’s Day. Coming of age and falling in love maylook different in quarantine, yet the duo evokesthe timeless essence of romance that remains unchanged. After opening simply with Madison’sexquisite, emotive vocals and acoustic guitar, the tender ballad swells as Surf imbues it with rich, ethereal layers. Download / stream “Carried Away” HERE. View the lyric video, created by Katia Temkin (Ariana Grande, Drake) as well.

“‘Carried Away’ is about the butterflies in your stomach feeling you get when you meet someone new and fall in love for the very first time,” explains Surf Mesa. “Working with Madison was a dream. I hope this song spreads love during this time when we need it more than ever.”

“When writing songs about love,” says Madison,“I’m often drawn to the ups and downs and heartache that can result from a relationship gone bad. It was refreshing to explore the other side of love for ‘Carried Away,’ the excited nerves you get from meeting someone and falling in love for the first time. I’m so grateful to Surf who made the whole process so fun.”

“Carried Away” follows Surf Mesa’s breakthrough hits “ily (i love you baby)” ft. Emilee and“Somewhere” ft. Gus Dapperton. Recently certified Platinum by the RIAA, “ily (i love you baby)”has amassed nearly two billioncombined global streams. Hailed by Rolling Stone as an ”earworm of a song,” it hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart and reached No. 2 on the U.S. Top 40 radio tally.Surf performed both songs in an exclusive live performance for Vevo DSCVR ARTISTS TO WATCH 2021.

ABOUT SURF MESA

No matter how dark things get, Surf Mesa remains a dreamer. The 20-year-old songwriter and producer spent much of 2020 honing the escapist energy of the nostalgic electronic ballads he’s been working toward since he got a copy of FL Studio in third grade. The Seattle artist makes “music for good feels,” which made his music a breath of fresh airin a tough year. Both of his beloved 2020 singles—“ily (i love you baby)” featuring Emilee and “Somewhere” featuring Gus Dapperton—offer romance and refuge for tired minds, drenched in gossamer synth and fueled by insistent drums. The delicate “Carried Away” with Madison Beer, continues in this windswept tradition.

This placid mindset has clearly connected. “ily” was recently RIAA certified Platinum after almost 2billion global streams and nearly 4 billion TikTok videos. The song hit #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart and #2 on Top 40 radio.“Somewhere” is right behind it, landing on Spotify’s hallowed New Music Friday out of the gate and garnering placements on dozens of playlists across platforms since. His whirlwind rise also earned him remixing duty on Marshmello and Halsey’s “Be Kind,” and Shawn Mendes’ “Wonder”—both fitting titles for Surf’s heartwarming music to enter mainstream EDM and pop.

By year’s end, “ily” placed on Spotify and Amazon’s top songs lists, setting him up for even bigger successes this year—VEVO has already named him a DSCVR Artist To Watch for 2021. And yet, after all this, he continues to make music at home alone, the same way he’s worked since he was a kid, holed up in his room making beats between Counter-Strikematches. He has humble aims: to make catchy, chill pop music and give others a way to “feel better about their day.” Listening to Surf, it’s hard not to.

Madison Beer x “BOYSHIT”

Today, Madison Beer releases the official video for her latest single “BOYSHIT.” The single is taken from Madison’s forthcoming debut album, Life Support. You can watch the “BOYSHIT” video here on VEVO/YouTube.

“Here at 360 Magazine, we listened to BOYSHIT and agreed it was the ultimate girl-power anthem. Beer completely possesses herself and every scene of her music video with elegance and ferocity. Her sweet necklace of pearls is perfectly juxtaposed with the savage cheers of the divine feminine. Cheers for Beer!”

Drawing inspiration from David Lynch’s glamorized scenes of Americana, the “BOYSHIT” video finds Madison portraying the perfect girl next door who teaches a group of young women how to deal with their relationship troubles. Directed by Lauren Dunn, the video premiered on YouTube after a livestream chat with eager fans, waiting to see the rising pop star deliver another glimpse into the world of Life Support.

“I wanted this video to be a tongue-in-cheek nod to dealing with toxic masculinity while playing with the aesthetics of cult films ‘Blue Velvet’ and ‘The Heathers,’” says Madison. “At its core, ‘BOYSHIT’ is about knowing your worth and taking back your power in a relationship that clearly has its problems. I’ve been there and that isn’t always an easy thing to do, so I hope this song serves as a reminder for any of my fans out there who need it. You’re worth so much more than someone’s BS.”

Upon release, Billboard said “BOYSHIT,” “makes a late case for one of the best pop chorus openings of 2020.”  The track is the latest single from Madison’s highly anticipated debut album, Life Support, out February 26th. The album features previous releases “Good In Goodbye,” “Selfish,” “Stained Glass” and “Baby” which have a combined total stream count of 500 million. Globally, Madison has over 3 billion streams across her catalogue.

Madison has attracted the endorsement of Billboard, V MagazinePaper and Rolling Stone who hailed her as a “rising pop star.” Most recently, Madison was tapped as a VEVO Lift artist, joining the likes of Billie Eilish, Jorja Smith, and SZA. You can find the campaign performances of “BOYSHIT” and “Selfish” as well as the “Dreams Look Different in the Distance” short film on Madison’s YouTube channel.

Prior to signing with Epic Records in late 2019, Madison achieved unprecedented success as an independent artist with her partner, First Access Entertainment. Her EP As She Pleases boasts nearly 1 billion streams and made her the first independent female solo artist to break into the Top 20 radio charts. Madison’s debut album Life Support is a strong personal and artistic statement that sees Madison where she thrives – commanding creative control through writing her own songs, producing and creating her own visuals.

Madison Beer – BOYSHIT

Today sees Madison Beer release her latest single “BOYSHIT” via Epic Records. With the release comes Madison’s Vevo LIFT campaign, which features a performance of the single, along with “Selfish”, her fastest ever US certified gold record, and a short film on the artist titled “Becoming”. “BOYSHIT” is taken from Madison’s forthcoming debut album, Life Support, out 26th February 2021.

“’BOYSHIT’ is one of the last songs I recorded for my album, and it was just kind of a build up after this really long year.” says Madison. “It’s simply about knowing your worth and when to leave a situation. With the play on “bullshit” I figured it was the perfect time to use the age old saying about an immature or disrespectful boyfriend, ‘he’s not a man, he’s a boy,’ but it then flourished into more. This isn’t as simple as a childish man, it’s deeper than that. Anyone can behave in a “BOYSHIT” manner and I think there’s something to be said about knowing when enough is enough and when you’re truly just feeding into nonsense, I think a lot of that is knowing your worth. This song is meant to uplift and inspire people, of all genders, to know when it’s time to stop putting up with boyshit.”

“BOYSHIT” is the latest single from Madison’s highly anticipated debut album, Life Support, out 26th February 2021. The album is a strong personal and artistic statement that sees Madison where she thrives – commanding creative control through writing her own songs, producing and creating her own visuals. Life Support features previous releases “Good In Goodbye”,“Selfish”, “Stained Glass” and “Baby” which have a combined total stream count of over 442 million. Globally, Madison has nearly 3 billion streams across her catalogue.

“Writing songs is like therapy for me.” says Madison. “That’s why this album is called Life Support. It helped me get rid of the darkness and see the light. My inspirations sonically are really diverse. I guess I’m not an easy artist to pigeonhole, and a lot of these songs are like nothing I’ve ever attempted before. All of me is laid bare on this album; it’s been a really fulfilling experience to create something that feels so true to myself. I’m grateful to my fans who have stuck by me since the beginning. Life Support has been a long time coming, and I’m just so excited for them to see what I’ve been working on.”

Vevo has tapped Madison for their coveted LIFT campaign, out now. The 3-part series features a performance of “BOYSHIT”and “Selfish” alongside a short film titled “Becoming”. The campaign takes viewers further into the mind of the artist with striking visuals and gripping storytelling, and further cements Madison as an artist to watch for 2021. Vevo LIFT alumni include Billie Eilish, Halsey, Jorja Smith, and SZA.

Prior to signing with Epic Records late last year, Madison Beer achieved unprecedented success as an independent artist with her partner First Access Entertainment, having sold over 1 million records in the UK alone. ALBUM LIFE SUPPORT

WATCH HERE

Madison Beer release her latest single “Baby” via Sing It Loud/First Access Entertainment on exclusive license to Epic Records. With the drop of the single comes a dreamy voyeuristic video that finds Madison plucked from a picturesque scene and dropped into the dark reality of life. “Baby” is taken from Madison’s forthcoming debut full length album Life Support, out later this year. You can listen to the single here.

“Coming out of a dark time mentally I inevitably had to build my confidence back up,” says Madison. “Writing ‘Baby’ made me feel in control of myself and my body again in the best way. When I wrote ‘Baby’ I was not only reminding myself that I can have what I deserve but also warning the next person that comes into my life that being with me is conditional . ‘If you wanna be my baby’ then know I’m going to be loud, quiet, wild, sexy, shy, high, low. I’m not going to apologize for who I am or shrink myself down anymore so if you can’t deal, then keep walking. I am regaining my confidence and this song truly makes me feel powerful and I hope it supplies anyone who might need a boost of confidence the same thing.”

Madison’s debut album, a strong personal and artistic statement, is slated for release later this year. “Her soon to be released album,” states V Magazine, “will surely pay homage to her years of growth in the spotlight with an entirely new depth of clarity.” Life Support sees Madison where she thrives – commanding complete creative control through writing her own songs, producing and creating her own visuals. The album will feature previous releases “Good In Goodbye,” “Selfish,” and “Stained Glass” which have a combined total stream count of over 282 million. “Selfish” is now also certified Gold in the US.

MADISON BEER – SELFISH

Madison Beer unveils “Selfish”, the second track to be lifted from Life Support – her debut album set to be released via First Access Entertainment/Epic Records later this year.

Co-written byBeer and produced by Leroy Clampitt (who worked with Madison on her debut EP, As She Pleases“Selfish” highlights the passion, poise and power of Madison’s vocals against a backdrop of minimalist, stripped-down production. “I wanted to give my fans more of a taste of what’s to come from my upcoming album “Life Support”, and with “Selfish” being my most personal and intimate song yet it felt like Valentine’s Day was the perfect time to share it.” says Madison.

The accompanying music video to “Selfish” sees Madison bare her soul in a stripped-down setting. Its intense and bold beauty mirrors the spirit of the song.

“Selfish” follows hot on the heels of the critically acclaimed “Good In Goodbye”, which has gathered over 10 million total streams and views in two weeks alone and is already heating up the airwaves at U.S. Pop radio. Right out of the gate, “Good In Goodbye” tallied 5.3 million streams and 2.7 million YouTube views and earned widespread praise. Paper Magazine included it among the coveted “Bops Only” and wrote, “There’s something here for everyone, even if you’re a toxic ex. Time named it one of “The 5 Best Songs of the Week” and claimed, “it stakes out her space as a voice to be reckoned with, easily stealing center stage over the song’s dark beat.”. It set the stage for the highly anticipated release of Madison’s debut album, Life Support, later this year.

Prior to signing with Epic Records late last year, Madison achieved unprecedented success as an independent artist with her partner First Access Entertainment, having sold over 1 million records in the UK and accumulated over 1 billion streams globally. Her debut EP As She Pleases boasts over 700 million streams globally and made her the first independent female solo artist to break into the Top 20 radio charts, after having debuted in the Top 5 on iTunes in 18 countries and in the Top 10 in 42 countries worldwide. Following the release of As She PleasesMadison featured on the Platinum awardedUK Top 10 hit “All Day and All Night” by Europa and “Pop/Stars” by K/DA which topped the Billboard’s world digital song sales chart.

Madison has attracted the endorsement of NME, Vogue Italia, Complex, The Guardian and Billboard who named her among its coveted “21 Under 21” list and has a social following that reaches an audience of over 14.3 million on Instagram and 2.5 million on Twitter. 2020 sees Madison begin her relationship with Sony where she, along with First Access Entertainment who have A&R’ed her debut LP, licensed the album and will release it via Epic Records. Madison Beer releases “Dear Society”

Today, rising independent pop singer-songwriter Madison Beer released Dear Society’, the first single off her debut album, due out this summer.  The catchy single, co-written by Madison, is accompanied by a vintage, yet futuristic video, co-directed by The Young Astronauts and Madison. ‘Dear Society’ explores the constant pressure to be perfect in today’s society.

“’ Dear Society’ is my letter to our culture expressing the pressure I feel from everyday life in today’s world.” Says Madison. “I know this is such a common struggle for so many people in my generation and I want this song to be an anthem for my fans so they know they are not alone; we are all in this struggle together.” Shot with a grainy, vintage aesthetic, the video mix’s elements of cult thrillers and psychological horror as it subtly shares the songs deeper message about the harmful effects of societal pressure.

Recorded in LA, Madison wrote ‘Dear Society’ with Elizabeth Lowell Boland, Leroy Clampitt, Timothy Sommers, and Jeremy Dussoliet. It is produced by Big Taste and One Love. Recognized by Billboard on their 2018 “21 Under 21” roster of the most promising young talents in music, Madison proves that she is in control and has never been more confident as an artist. ‘Dear Society’ follows Madison’s ‘Hurts Like Hell’ ft. Offset, (which has amassed 115 million+ streams), and debut EP ‘As She Pleases’, (which has amassed 500 million+ streams), released in 2018. After selling out her first ever European and US headline tour last spring, Madison will hit the road again, both in the US and Europe, this fall.

About Madison Beer

Her debut EP, ‘As She Pleases’ (which spawned ‘Home With You’, ‘Say It To My Face’ and ‘Dead’), has notched up over 500 million combined streams and accumulated Gold certifications in 3 countries after debuting in the Top 5 on iTunes in 18 countries and in the Top 10 in 42 countries worldwide.  Recognized by Billboard on their 2018 “21 Under 21” roster of the most promising young talents in music, Madison proves that she is in control and has never been more confident as an artist. Following the success of ‘Home With You’, Madison released ‘Hurts Like Hell’ ft. JAX AND MARTIN SOLVEIG ANNOUNCE COLLABORATIVE PROJECT EUROPA

JAX’S HEADLINING NORTH AMERICAN TOUR KICKS OFF NEXT MONTH WITH STOPS IN CHICAGO, NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES AND MORE

Europa have today unleashed their debut single ‘All Day And Night’, featuring white-hot US singer Madison Beer. Europa is Jax Jones and Martin Solveig: two friends who also just so happen to be multi-platinum artists (with over 4 billion combined streams), pushing each other to investigate musical avenues they’d never explore on their own.

Europa is club-focused pop music and pop-focused club music. Europa is friendship. Europa is a larger-than-life explosion of unexpected combinations, total freedom, unexpected twists and bridges not walls. Europa is the phrase ‘stronger together’ brought to life in vivid colours.

Born out of a mutual admiration and cemented by a hug given by Martin after Jax’s set in Ibiza, the pair’s collaboration has been a long time coming. It was only after Solveig made the Eurostar trip to Jax’s London studio that they realized that they had something special and the spirit of Europa started to take shape: ‘’for the first-ever Europa session, Martin came in and played a song with a cheeky sax riff in it.’’ Jax adds ‘’He looked at me as if to say: ‘This is a bit taboo, but we could try it.’ And then I said: ‘Well if we’re doing that, how about TRANCE?”

One delight of the genre-agnostic Europa outlook is that it’s truly a project without hard borders, and with US singer/songwriter Madison Beer, who was recognized by Billboard on its 2018 ‘21 Under 21’ roster of the most promising young talents in music, contributing vocals to chart-ready walloper All Day And Night, Europa is also a celebration of frictionless relationships with the rest of the world.  “To have Madison on our first track is great. She has an undeniable truth in her vocal that we both really like and since launching her career she’s become an influential voice of her generation,” Martin comments. Late last year Madison released ‘Hurts Like Hell’, which continues to climb the charts and was described by Complex Magazine as her “biggest track to date.” The song is just a glimpse of what’s to come from her highly-anticipated upcoming debut studio album this summer. Future singles will pair Europa with further still-under-wraps vocalists; they’ll be complemented in Europa’s live shows by a raft of club-ready cuts bursting with spontaneity and openness.

“A huge common point for us is that we want people to have fun,” Jax and Martin explain. “Europa has allowed both of us to step out from what everybody else might consider reasonable. Music doesn’t have to be reasonable. You might even say it shouldn’t be.”

The announcement of Europa follows an impressive start to 2019 for London’s Jax Jones. A second BRIT Award nomination in a row came in the wake of his latest Top 10 collaboration – the groove-fueled earworm ‘Play’ ft. Years & Years. He plays his biggest headline show to date at London’s Roundhouse on 6th April, before heading to America for a landmark nine date tour.

Next month, Jax will embark on a headlining tour of North America. Kicking off on April 18 in Washington, D.C., the 10-date run wraps up on May 3 in Los Angeles at The Roxy. See full list of tour dates below.
