Isaac Dunbar – Fool’s Paradise

Isaac Dunbar released his latest single, “Fool’s Paradise,” out now via RCA Records. Written and produced by Isaac, the emotive, piano-driven ballad examines the complexities of unrequited love. Propelled by Isaac’s melodic vocals, “Fool’s Paradise” is an operatic exploration of disillusionment and what happens when one no longer ignores the red flags waving in front of them.

“I wrote ‘Fool’s Paradise’ about my struggle between discerning what is real and what is fake with the relationships in my life,” says Isaac. “It’s about the process of waking up to mistreatment, manipulation and reading in between the lines. It’s about breaking those cycles. ‘Fool’s Paradise’ is a song for the delusional girls.”

Joining the previously released rebellious pop-anthem “Bleach” and the disco-infused “Tainted Love,” “Fool’s Paradise” serves as the latest release off Isaac’s highly anticipated forthcoming EP, Banish The Banshee. A series of sonic parables inspired by love, loss, shame, and joy, Banish The Banshee is a conceptual body of work that illustrates the stories of Isaac’s life so far through the lens of his alter-ego, the banshee.

Banish The Banshee is out May 27 via RCA Records, pre-order it HERE

About Isaac Dunbar

19-year-old Isaac Dunbar has carved out a spectacular and unique lane as one of the most critically heralded emerging artists of his generation. After supporting girl in red on her North American and European run of shows in 2019, he released his highly anticipated debut EP, balloons don’t float here. It garnered the attention of notable tastemakers like Zane Lowe, The FADER, Hypebeast and Lyrical Lemonade, who called it “a display of pop mastery.” Hailing from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, his music melds complex sounds and atmospheric, beat-driven production to create melodic and introspective tracks with potent hooks. He makes lush, synth-driven music, which he writes, performs and produces himself.

In 2020, with his newly inked deal with RCA Records, he released his critically acclaimed EP, isaac’s insects, which garnered over 48 million streams worldwide. Billboard called it a “stunning major label debut” and led his track “makeup drawer” to be featured in NPR‘s “Best Music of 2020” list. His third EP, evil twin, was released at the top of 2021 and saw support from the likes of Earmilk, who declared it a “defiant pop record,” along with features in PAPER Magazine, SPIN, American Songwriter, E! News and more, while amassing over 38 million streams worldwide. Last fall, Dunbar hit the road on his first-ever North American headlining tour, which included a sold-out show in New York and a performance at the All Things Go Festival in Washington, DC. With new music to come in 2022, Dunbar’s future shines brighter than ever before.

Guapo × OTB Fastlane – SRT

Rising Houston-based rapper Guapo has mastered a new flow full of punchlines, quotables and Instagram captions that is just simply above par. He recently shared his new single “SRT” feat. OTB Fastlane. Listen to “SRT,” produced by 100Keyz, HERE and watch the video, directed by SpxrkStudios, HERE.

About Guapo

A Houston act so early in their career has never had such prolific strides quite like Guapo, who many have come to also know as “Lil Guap”. The young upstart’s name truly does speak for itself as the 20-year-old rapper has captured the attention of what seems to be the entire city of Houston in such a short matter of time.

Beginning around his senior year of high school, Guapo was introduced to rap one day by the encouragement of his brother and the people around him. This past year, Guapo has played a pivotal role in being at the forefront of Houston’s newest faces by delivering consistent buzzing material such as his leading single, “Mr. Put It On.”

A new lingo, new swagger, and a fresh face are all things Guapo has used to his advantage while rising to the top of Houston’s budding music scene with co-signs from Lil Baby, Future and Young Thug.

Released in September, “Mr. Put It On” was Guapo’s first breakout single, reaching over a million views within days while sparking a new trend of style, TikTok moments, and social media lingo. Since then, Guapo has been gearing up to release his debut mixtape.

Guapo is now currently in the final stages of wrapping up his first solo mixtape with some notable features from big names across Texas. There’s no telling what surprises Guapo has in store for his promising debut, but it is safe to say that it will be one of the most highly anticipated projects coming out of the South by a new rap artist this year.

Boslen – Levels

Boslen unveils “LEVELS,” the unrelenting first single from his forthcoming project, GONZO, due later this year from Chaos Club Digital/Capitol Records. Listen HERE. The flex-filled experimental alt hip-hop track shows a vigorous side of Boslen following his debut album DUSK to DAWN. Battle-tested, the genre-obliterating artist is more energized than ever.

“When I wrote ‘LEVELS,’ I wanted to challenge myself by breaking the fourth wall and showcasing how the highs and lows of moving in this industry can affect an artist,” says Boslen. “I wanted listeners to hear a new side of my tonality. I feel like I poured in more emotion than I ever have before. ‘LEVELS’ really sets the tone for GONZO, and I can’t wait for my fans to hear the full project.”

About Boslen

Boslen is a born trailblazer. The 22-year-old hip-hop experimenter lives in Vancouver, and the city’s people have become key to the way he understands himself and his art. Vancouver is a land of contrasts, with snowy peaks and warm water; beautiful nature and busy streets. It’s the perfect home for an artist who reconciles disparate energies, weaving together styles and sounds that don’t intuitively connect. DUSK to DAWN, his Capitol Records debut, furthers this adventurous approach, mixing trap, pop, punk, and rock melodies. It’s also directly inspired by his city, a place that drives him to be different, to achieve greatness when no one expects him to. Boslen first emerged as an artist in 2018, when he dropped out of school, moved to North Vancouver, and released the Motionless and Motionless II mixtapes. He found his footing in 2019 with the energetic, confrontational songs “Eye for an Eye” and ”Hidden Nights,” which garnered millions of streams.

In 2019, he released the Black Lotus EP, but even with so many songs out in the world, DUSK to DAWN feels like a step forward, full of boundary-pushing vocal experiments, heavier production, and shapeshifting transitions. The music finally matches the tumultuous emotions he’s captured in his lyrics all along. He may not be able to pull every listener into Vancouver, but he’s using the city’s contrasts as a backdrop to challenge everyone to think beyond themselves, to dream big.

TheHxliday – Doses

19-year-old TheHxliday released a new music video for “Doses” via Motown Records. The song, is light, airy, and joyous, mixing solid rap verses with an uplifting, pop-y beat. It’s a simple, sweet track that perfectly blends hip hop and pop together flawlessly.

The music video is fun, showing TheHxliday get asked out by a girl he likes and ends by him going out on a date with her. It’s strikingly beautiful visually with top-tier camera work.

About TheHxliday

TheHxliday isn’t afraid to tap into his feelings. Equal parts introspective and inspiring, the 19-year-old artist is very comfortable with the concept of openness. Through his pop-infused hip-hop, TheHxliday showcases his approach to understanding and digesting life. TheHxliday got serious about music at age 13, after his mom, who was in an alt-rock band called Chick Flick, introduced him to GarageBand and showed him how to loop beats.

With music in his bloodline and an incredibly wide-ranging array of genres in his headphones, his favorite artists include My Chemical Romance, Bruno Mars, and Eazy-E. TheHxliday refined and established his own sound across a year of making music in his bedroom. On songs like “Laugh a Little”, from his New Year’s Day Batbxy EP,  the rising Baltimore star, born Noah Malik Lee offers sage advice for healing oneself while sounding as playful as the title suggests.

As a member of the industry-shifting, DIY SoundCloud rap class of the mid-2010s, TheHxliday stands decidedly apart from his peers. TheHxliday‘s life changed after dropping his 2018 hit “Enemy.” It’s the ultimate Gen Z breakup anthem, telling the story of the inner strength required to move forward after a toxic relationship ends. It expanded his creative circle to include the inimitable Motown Records, and the Lyrical Lemonade video crew based in Chicago. By combining his passion for rock, pop, hip-hop, and R&B, TheHxliday created a mercurial style that refuses to be boxed into any genre.

About BoyWithUke

What do we know about BoyWithUke? If you quickly scan TikTok you can figure out he is a musical artist who writes and produces all of his own music, creating songs in his dorm room on GarageBand while hiding his face from the public with his now signature glowing mask. Take a deeper look and you’ll see he frequently posts “minute long songs,” many times written in response to requests from fans. His biggest hit to date was written after a fan commented “make a song about toxic friends plzzzx,” and the response was the song “Toxic.” The song describes how it feels when you realize all your friends are terrible people (people you’d probably be better off without), but the thought of being alone makes you feel even worse. The song has taken over the Spotify charts: hitting Top 10 and Top 15 on the Global & U.S. Spotify Viral Chart, Top 20 on Global Spotify Chart, and peaking at over 2 million streams per day. The song follows his previous full-length projects Melatonin Dreams, Fever Dreams, Trouvaille EP, and his latest Faded EP (featuring numerous songs created from his TikTok “minute long songs” project). We don’t know much about BoyWithUke yet, but we do know he’s an artist everyone is talking about.

Fabiio's High Class via NV Marketing for use by 360 Magazine

Fabiio – High Class

Rising Trap star Fabiio released his new song and video “High Class.” The single was released under AP Global Music and produced by JS BEATZ. The song is about how he lives a luxurious life now and is no longer living the same way from his past in Puerto Rico.
The music video, directed by Guri BellaFlores, reflects the lifestyle of Fabiio and the modern New York City life. He’s seen going through the city demonstrating his Puerto Rican roots and his luxurious lifestyle.
In this video, you also see fancy dinners, stylish sneakers, many jewels and endless city nights. Fabiio‘s style in the production is inspired by 90’s fashion and shows like Raising Kanan, directed by Rob Hardy.
Last summer, he released the single and music video, Trap de Disenador which has 5 million views on YouTube, and in August last year, he dropped Master which has 2 million views on YouTube.
He also made an impact on Spotify with 402.5K streams in 0ver 147 countries.
About Fabiio

Fabiio is a musician, born and raised in the Hato Rey Community of San Juan, Puerto Rico. He first got his start in music working at a barbershop where others saw his potential, and he started creating music at age 27. He is inspired by other rappers such as Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg. He is also an avid skateboard enthusiast.

Slump6s – Origin

After piling up tens of millions of streams and views independently, 16-year-old Rochester, NY hip-hop artist Slump6s unleashes a new single and music video entitled “Origin” via Field Trip Recordings/Republic Records.

On the track, a string sample and a claustrophobic beat drive the frenetic production as his hyperactive delivery bursts with energy. It illuminates his ability to flip like a switchblade between punchy verses and a chantable hook. With its psychedelic filters and rapid cuts, the accompanying visual reflects this kinetic motion as he turns up outside in Los Angeles. It also arrives on the heels of his latest single “Moment,” which Elevator Magazine highlighted the rapper as “part of the new generation of soundcloud rappers who are taking the internet by storm,” and Our Generation Music noted his “melodic delivery is able to adapt as the instrumental starts with a wavy synth and leads into heavier 808s”. However, everything just sets the stage for more music to come from Slump6s. Be on the lookout.

About Slump6s
As the culture evolves, the boundaries of hip-hop continue to expand as well. However, Slump6s pushes those limits even farther. The 16-year-old Rochester, NY artist and rapper wields his voice like an instrument. Rather than gliding atop beats or charging against them, his vocals entangle with the production, moving in calculated harmonic bursts of emotion. Growing up in Rochester, he studied and memorized videos of Michael Jackson on YouTube. Dad owned a studio and often recorded friends. By six-years-old, Slump6s would sing over pop’s beats and record himself. Throughout school, he participated in band and learned clarinet, trombone, trumpet, and drums. In eighth grade, he started to upload music to Soundcloud as an escape. At the top of 2020, he dropped “Spark” and ignited palpable buzz. As he piled on streams with singles such as “Up It” and his independent 16 EP, he attracted a rabid audience on social media. He rode this momentum into 2021, meeting BabySantana on Discord and teaming up for the breakout single “Antisocial.” Right out of the gate, it generated 27.9 million Spotify streams and 1.3 million views on the music video championed by Wav Guide and more. Landing a deal with Field Trip Recordings/Republic Records, he sharpened his signature style as only a sophomore in high school. After racking up 20 million-plus streams independently, he masterfully leans into an ever-evolving melodic sensibility on a series of singles in 2021 led by “Moment.”

WizTheMc – Do It Over

Today, South African born, Germany raised, and Toronto based singer, songwriter and producer WizTheMc releases his latest single “Do It Over” via 10K Projects/Homemade Projects. Get “Do It Over” HERE and watch the official video Friday at 9am PST HERE.

“Do It Over” marks the third release from Wiz’s upcoming EP Where Silence Feels Good” slated for release at the top of 2022. The project will also feature recent singles “Break” and “Everything.”

In the visual for “Do It Over,” Wiz and his love interest (played by Uncut Gems star Noa Fisher) have officially called it quits, leading him to wallow in all of the things he would have changed to go back and fix it. This third installation marks the finale to the storyline presented in previous videos for the first two singles, showcasing the steps from the spark felt in a new relationship all the way to the tribulations that lead to its ultimate demise. The narrative represents the core message of the overall EP and sets up for its release. Watch the video for “Everything” HERE and “Break” HERE.

Leading up to this release, Wiz spent last weekend in Texas where he took to the Miller Lite Stage for a performance at Austin City Limits.

Where Silence Feels Good EP marks the follow up to his What About Now? EP. Released at the end of last year, it features the breakout single “For A Minute,” which has since amassed over 34M streams on Spotify.

ABOUT WIZTHEMC

Fitting for an artist who spent formative years on three different continents, WizTheMc describes his sound as “borderless music.” It’s an apt description for the 22-year-old singer, rapper, and producer, whose DIY ethos to music-making combines an ear for sticky pop hooks with nimble rapping abilities, all bolstered by high-octane production and summery guitar loops. His career hit warp speed during summer of 2020, when his peppy love song “For A Minute” became a major online hit, following his signing with Elliot Grainge’s 10K Projects and Homemade Projects. It’s since accrued over 34 million streams on Spotify alone. The Toronto-based, Cape Town-raised artist is now bringing his magnetic records to the masses.

The next chapter of his career comes in the form of his upcoming Where Silence Feels Good EP, featuring singles “Everything,” “Break” and now “Do It Over.” The project will show Wiz at his most in-tune self, marked by an over darker sensibility, drawing attention to Wiz’s emotive rasp. He uses songwriting for emotional excavation but maintains that what matters more to him is not what he gets out of a song, but what you do. He says introspective rappers like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole have inspired him to pour more of himself than ever before into the music he’s writing, “It’s been my goal to be able to put down my emotions as accurately as possible onto paper to the point that I feel moved by my own words because they feel so true to me.” He continues, “I feel like these songs are the closest to my real experience. These are the most vulnerable songs I’ve written to date.”

Joy Crookes × New York Times

Joy Crookes — who is already garnering Amy Winehouse and Lauryn Hill comparisons from her own songs—began her musical journey years before her magpie-like introduction to brass. The daughter of a Bengali mother and an Irish father, she grew up listening to an eclectic mix of genres. Every week, while driving her to Irish dancing lessons, they would listen to a different album. Kendrick Lamar’s ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ one week ‘Soon Forward’ by Gregory Isaac the next. As a curious, passionate, and music-obsessed 12-year-old, Joy decided to start writing her own song and honing her modern soul sound. Her first song “Seaside” was penned after falling head over heels for a boy by the beach. Seven years later, her songs might have grown more sophisticated, but the approach remains the same: whether she’s dealing with heartbreak or trying to come to terms with the latest Trump headline, Joy is committed to translating her most honest and vulnerable feelings to music. While her candid song-writing and fearless attitude have won her dedicated grassroots following, it was a baby-faced Joy singing a cover of Hit the Road Jack, which caught the attention of 600,000 viewers, and her first management company. Now she has a feature in the New York Times.

“In her music, Crookes offers listeners a nuanced and candid exploration of her multiracial identity. At a time when many conversations about race in the arts and calls for change have only recently begun, Crookes’s commitment to vulnerability in her storytelling has helped her connect with a growing — and loyal — fan base.” – The New York Times

Jordan Ward – Remain Calm

Following the release of his first single, “Lil Baby Crush,” St Louis polymath Jordan Ward unleashes his new EP Remain Calm. The five-track effort proves to be an evocative showcase by the budding singer, who eyes unyielding love and happiness. Established in standout records “Standards” and “Thrive,” Jordan’s buttery vocals and gentle energy are supple enough to keep listeners enthralled for the long run. After a successful trek as an opener on Duckwrth’s ‘A SuperGood Tour’ last month, Remain Calm is the next step in cementing Ward’s leap into stardom. In honor of his new EP, Ward held an intimate release party in Los Angeles to celebrate his journey, where he treated attendees to a live performance.  Listen HERE.

Within the last several years, Jordan Ward has emerged as one of R&B’s rising stars. Developing an affinity for music and dance at a very early age, Jordan polished his skillset after first trying his hand as a choir member before transitioning into musical theatre. His influences include a diverse roster of music luminaries ranging from Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, Kanye West, Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, and more. After first experimenting with rap, Ward later focused on singing and dancing. By 18, he moved to Los Angeles and joined Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour in 2016. Ward’s precocious dance abilities earned him gigs as a dancer for Janet Jackson and Beyonce, as he appeared in the singer’s Homecoming documentary for her epic Coachella performance.

In 2017, Ward began his musical quest after releasing his EP, A Peak at the Summit. It wasn’t until 2019 that Ward’s breakthrough became the talk of R&B. His debut album Valley Hopefuls was propelled by his single “Okok (Hibachi)” and “Sandiego,” which was produced by singer Arin Ray and music producer heavyweight No ID. Now, Ward’s silky croons and elevated songwriting abilities are at peak form as he readies his journey into universal acclaim in the R&B world.
