Blacc Zacc – Carolina Narco

Known as the “The Richest Rapper in South Carolina,” hip hop artist Blacc Zacc (South Coast Music Group/Interscope Records) is prepared to show the world exactly why that statement rings true. The Columbia, SC native has just announced the release of his debut album, Carolina Narco. The 11-track effort offers a seamless stream of hits, including the recently released title track, “Carolina Narco,” and its follow-up track, “Make A Sale.” With appearances from Moneybagg Yo, Yo Gotti, Stunna 4 Vegas and DaBaby, each song remains true to theme as the artists rap about hustling, money and the street life. Stunna 4 Vegas to the more melodic “All Day.” The album features production by Young Kio, OG Parker, Romano and more. Listen to Carolina Narco HERE

In addition to his album release, Blacc Zacc is blessing fans with the release of his video, “Make A Sale” with Moneybagg Yo. CITY GIRLS

The wait is over! Today Yung Miami and JT – together known as City Girls – release their first single together since JT was freed from prison: “You Tried It.” Listen HERE. The internet exploded when JT got out on October 8, 2019, with City Girls holding eight of the top 25 trending topics on twitter – not just trending but trending under eight different topics! (#2 JT FREE; #6 JT HOME; #11 JT IS FREE; #15 JT IS HOME; #16 Caresha; #19 Yung Miami; #20 JT OUT; #23 SO JT).

Even with JT incarcerated, the girls have racked up 1.2 BILLION streams within two years, with City Girls’ hit records “Act Up” and “Twerk (feat Cardi B)” both RIAA Certified platinum. Separated after JT turned herself in for credit card fraud charges in July, 2018, the same day Drake’s “In My Feelings (featuring City Girls)” was released, Yung Miami has been holding it down: touring, performing, recording videos and features as City Girls. But last month JT was not only released, but Yung Miami pushed out her bundle of joy, Summer. Both got new chains: JT a ‘City Girls’ chain from Miami; Yung Miami a small fries chain celebrating her new small fry – and favorite food – from McDonalds  “YOU B**CHES IN TROUBLE!! MY B**CH [IS] HOME!” Yung Miami tweeted, announcing JT’s freedom. And on her first day out, City Girls released the record “First Day Out,” with JT citing “Stop with all the rumors, and tell your nigga I’m home / And it’s on / Period.” JT and Young Miami are uncensored, unapologetic, sharing a commitment to their hood roots and a bold insistence that the culture they come from shouldn’t stop them from getting a piece of the cash pie. One of the most provocative female hip-hop duos in years, JT and Yung Miami are trailblazers of the next generation of female who speak out as raw and confident — and with as much swagger as the boys.

1More Speakers

1More shakes up the portable speaker market with bundled units.‘ – 360 MAGAZINE

By Vaughn Lowery

If you are in the marketplace for a portable Bluetooth speaker, then 1More is your choice. With impeccable sound quality and the ability to hang them around your student residence or apartment, this speaker system is the bang for your buck. You can purchase one speaker for $99 or 2 for $149.

If you listen to songs with heavy bass, then look no farther. The bundled, packaged audio system at high levels will last for approximately 4 to 6 hours before having to recharge. It’s like having a Bose and JBL Bluetooth system combined. Each loudspeaker has a tweeter and a subwoofer so when you pair the two, the sound quality is reminiscent of a small home theater, especially if you hang them diagonally apart with one being higher than the other.

Unquestionably one of the best in the industry, they store easily in small bags when you travel. Great for outdoor BBQs and you can hang on your bike or scooter so you can enjoy music while on a drive to the beach.

They charge relatively fast and are exceedingly durable. We found out this first-hand as the speakers would hop off our glass table or edge of a kitchen countertop. If they descend, the face will sometimes pop off in order to absorb impact. We recommend you hang speaks on a bait/hook or a doorknob to keep them intact.

By far one of the best products for people-on-the-move, attending college and/or residing in small urban spaces.

NUE – DREAMCAST

Today, rapper NUE returns with new single “Dreamcast” produced by Lex Luger [Prod credits include Lil Yatchy, Quavo, Waka Flocka etc.]. True to his genre bending approach to hip-hop and  alternative twist to R&B, “Dreamcast” is the perfect vibe. In Nue’s words, “It’s what you put on when you’re lit at 2 AM and not ready for your night to be over. You just feel the energy — it hits right from the jump and keeps up throughout the song.”

ABOUT NUE

Nobody does brooding, moody, rap/R&B hybrid quite like Toronto, and NUE is the latest in a string of artists taking the “Toronto sound” and adding to its legacy with his own unique brand of the city’s greatest export. NUE made waves in 2017 with his critically-acclaimed mixtape, Iroquois and more recently with his latest EP U Met Me At A Strange Time. NUE just finished up the Canadian tour with Grammy-nominated hitmaker, Fetty Wap. Love It!

Love It is an up-tempo, Hip-hop trap anthem for the ladies that will definitely have you up dancing and feeling yourself in the first 30 seconds! Rappers like Gunna and Lil Baby were Serayah’s inspiration for this record!

Serayah on “Love It:”

“I appreciate the new social media epidemic, but with that comes a lot of flexing and fake attitudes. I walked in the studio and I told Jabari let’s make a song about “New Hollywood”. Let’s shine a light on how unimportant it is to acquire all the materialistic things and create a real purpose for what we do, after all the world is watching.”

YELLOW CLAW × ECHOSTAGE DC

DO YOU LIKE BASS?

By Diana Macaraeg × Vaughn Lowery

(Featured photo by Harley Lunar)

On Friday night, DC’s Echostage presented EDM’s favorite Dutch DJ duo Yellow Claw (consisting of Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis), along with GRLZ, Boogie T, and Moksi. Ranked at #1 in DJ Magazine’s USA list of nightclubs, Echostage proved that it had no troubles selling out tickets with line down a block of crazed fans in rave attire and Yellow Claw gear.

GRLZ, Boogie T, and Moksi filled the two story venue with high energy, bass dropping beats that perfectly transitioned into Yellow Claw’s set.

Yellow Claw had started off with their signature intro song “Untouchable,” with its lyrics shown on the screen demanding the crowds attention. Their set included songs from their latest album New Blood, with a mix of their label Barong Family hits and previous collaborations from artists like Pusha T, DJ Snake, Lil Debbie, Sophie Simmons, Yade Lauren and many more. During the set, they were joined by one of their label artists and earlier performers, Moksi to perform their iconic Moksi Switch Up remixes.

After their performance, the crowd chanted their famous tagline, “Yellow Mother F***** Claw!” and they gladly returned to the stage playing an extra 10 minutes, along with giving their fans a special treat of playing their 2013 major hit, “DJ Turn it Up.”

Being a super fan/Yellow Claw Soldier since 2013, every concert, every mixtape, every album, every collaboration, every piece of merchandise, every documentary, Yellow Claw never ceases to amaze me. Being able to watch them live is to the only way to bow down to The Party Gods. #YMFC

Yellow Claws tour continues worldwide, and check out their latest music video, “Down on Love” ft. Yade Lauren & Moksi here.

ALISON WONDERLAND x NEW VIDEO

Following her powerful performance at sunny Coachella, Alison Wonderland unveils her new video, Easy, which finds her dancing her way through a storm, stalked by an unrelenting rain cloud that even follows her indoors. Wonderland came up with the concept for the video after connecting with a scene from the 1998 film, The Truman Show.
“When I’m not happy, it feels like there is constant dark rain cloud over my head and it seems like everyone else is in the sunshine. It’s easy to feel isolated and alone, “explains Wonderland. “I wrote Easy on a day I felt like this. The description in the chorus is very literal. I woke up in bed too embarrassed to tell the guy next to me that I was sad for no reason, so I went to the bathroom to cry secretly because I was too scared to be honest at the time.”
