Wynonna Judd Kicks-Off The Judds: The Final Tour With Emotional First Weekend Alongside Brandi Carlile and Very Special Guest Martina McBride

GRAMMY®-winning Country music icon, Wynonna Judd, kicked-off The Judds: The Final Tour this past weekend with two packed arena shows in Grand Rapids, MI and Toledo, OH. Wynonna’s heartwarming return to the stage, alongside Brandi Carlile and very special guest, Martina McBride, saw generations of Judds fans uplifting an enduring artist that has touched countless lives with her music.

“I am so blown away by the amount of love that flowed through the arenas this weekend. These first two shows exceeded my highest expectations! For the first time in my career I was so overwhelmed by the love from the fans, that my knees felt weak and I literally leaned on our guitar player to hold me up. Looking out and seeing all of the different generations of Judd fans was such an emotional experience. They sang every word to every song… which reminds me just how timeless Judd music is. I’m so grateful.” – Wynonna Judd

The 11-date arena tour, produced by Sandbox Live and Live Nation, continues next weekend in Sioux Falls, SD and Green Bay, WI with Ashley McBryde. As the tour continues, Wynonna is thrilled to welcome (on select dates) Kelsea BalleriniLittle Big TownTrisha Yearwood and Faith HillMartina McBride will perform at each tour date throughout The Judds: The Final Tour

Tickets for The Judds: The Final Tour can be found at TheJudds.com.

About The Judds:

Wynonna and Naomi Judd brought a fresh acoustic sound to country music, with unmistakable harmonies surrounding Wynonna’s powerful lead vocals. The Judds are often celebrated for a rarely interrupted stretch of 14 No. 1 hits when every single of theirs released by RCA landed in the Billboard Top 10; and a career that defined what it means to be individualists in the music business. The Judds dominated touring in the 80s with 20 Top 10 hits, have sold more than 20 million albums and blazed a trail for duos and women who have followed them. Together, The Judds have 16 Gold, Platinum, and multi-Platinum albums and longform videos, led by 2x Platinum albums Why Not Me and The Judds Greatest Hits. Their stripped-back style revived the popularity of acoustic sounds in country music and opened up the genre for more traditional approaches.

ROSALÍA RELEASES “DESPECHÀ”

MOTOMAMI CONTINUES TO BE NUMBER ONE CRITICALLY REVIEWED ALBUM ON METACRITIC

Grammy and eight-time Latin Grammy-award winning recording artist ROSALÍA has released her new track “DESPECHÀ” due to popular demand. Listen to the track here. “DESPECHÀ” serves as the first new music offering since the release of her globally critically and commercially acclaimed landmark Spanish language album MOTOMAMI, which continues to be the most highly rated album of the year, according to Metacritic

Says ROSALÍA, “There are many ways to be Despechá, in this theme it is from the freeness or the craziness, moving without reservations or regrets. This is the place from where I make music, from where I did it when I first started and where I will continue to until God says so. I’m grateful for having been able to travel in recent years and have learned from music from other places including the DR, where artists like Fefita La Grande, Juan Luis Guerra and Omega have inspired me and without them this song would not exist.”

Lyrics here.

ROSALÍA first shared “DESPECHÀ” – which loosely translates to ‘heartbroken, scorned’ – from stage during her MOTOMAMI WORLD TOUR, surprising yet delighting fans. The reaction was lighting fast, with fans hyper enthusiastic response spreading like wildfire. Press response was equally effusive, with the venerable El Pais declaring “…Rosalía has achieved the song of the summer without officially releasing it yet.”

Currently, ROSALÍA is in the midst of her first ever global tour – MOTOMAMI WORLD TOUR – with sold-out shows across the globe. With fans lining up days in advance at each venue, the much buzzed about awaited tour has been delivering an unforgettable evening of innovative choreography and Rosalia’s distinctive world class vocal capability throughout a 30+ song production based on the artist’s recentmilestone MOTOMAMI album and many more of her earlier chart-topping and groundbreaking hits, including the new “DESPECHÀ.”

  • ”The new queen of pop dazzles at the first concert of her tour… this is the future… a sensory feast of [such] exact minimalism. it not just breaks the fourth wall, it shatters it.  Rosalía’s voice is precise, exciting and takes songs to another dimension – showing that she sings deeper than anyone else…  She can conquer the world singing in Spanish, [and is] going to put an end to the Anglo-Saxon hegemony of world pop.” (See more detailed review highlights below)

The massive Live Nation produced 46 show run across 15 countries will continue Saturday, July 9th in Sevilla, Spain and make additional stops in Latin American and North America before wrapping up in Europe on December 18th with a performance at Paris’ Accor Arena. Rolling Stone noted that “Rosalía delivers a wild, innovative pop spectacle on her own terms.” For more information or tickets please visit rosalia.com

Simultaneously, ROSALÍA’s MOTOMAMI album (already the #1 Album of The Year by consensus critical acclaim’ according to Metacriticcontinues to collect numerous recent “Best Albums of 2022 -So Far” picks from outlets including:TIME, ROLLING STONE, BILLBOARD, VARIETY, LOS ANGELES TIMES, THE GUARDIAN, VULTURE, HYPEBEAST, ESQUIRE, STEREOGUM, CONSEQUENCE, OF SOUND, COMPLEX, SPINand MANY more.

ROSALIA’s “MOTOMAMI TOUR”- Opening Night In Almería- Translated Review Highlights

“We were not prepared! … Rosalía’s MOTOMAMI World Tour  is Tremendous… and  absolutely overwhelming. A full-fledged trip to the future!  The concert begins with a set of blinding white lights that gives way to Rosalía and her dancers (los motopapis), and a thunderous noise of engines… the sensation is that of having entered directly into a time tunnel and jumping to some subsequent decade. The concert proceeds with  fantastic choreography and a narration that runs smoothly despite handling diverse genres, languages, and technologies… turning into a dystopian fable… there are as many Rosalías as there are songs on this tour (almost thirty of them)… she’s been rehearsing long enough for this to run like clockwork. And boy does she do it. The Motomami World Tour is a true reflection of those disruptive and strangely beautiful TikTok videos that served as a letter of introduction for the artist to present the best album of the year.  …Everything is of an overwhelmingly exact minimalism. And with so little it is not that it just breaks the fourth wall, it shatters it. … this is the future. And it’s a future where at times it seems like you’re watching a deconstructed contemporary dance show, at others a magnetic performance and at times, an aggressive parade of something darkly beautiful. But there is one thing that remains unchanged in this sensory feast and that is Rosalía’s voice. She is precise, exciting and takes songs to another dimension -showing that she sings deeper than anyone else. Today Rosalía has once again made it clear that she has the best legion of followers (they sing absolutely everything), that she does what she wants, that she does not need to fill the stage with anything or anyone so that she and her songs shine, and that she is not going to take a step back on this fascinating path that she has undertaken [toward] a Blessed and bright future!” – El Pais

“Rosalía’s MOTOMAMI TOUR begins its conquest  of the world. The Catalan artist is crowned the new queen of pop and dazzles at the first concert of the international tour… At this point we can already say that 2022 will be remembered for being the year in which Rosalíaand her Motomami’ impeccably consolidated the process of world domination. It is not a hyperbole. …Rosalía is famous for being a perfectionist and that self-demand was noted in a perfectly calibrated show in which she and her voice are the absolute center. The artist is accompanied by a group of eight dancers who, rather than performing a choreography, merge like a human mass around her, joining her gestures and the narrative of the songs…  Rosalía has achieved several things that do not always necessarily go together: the popular acclaim of a public with a lot of accumulated desire,  and the blessing of critics that have surrendered to an album that is a wet dream for her risk, her courage and her overwhelming mix of genres, Another thing that Rosalía has shown is that… she can conquer the world singing in Spanish. She has already done so, developing a new and very personal language that at times seems to come from the very future… [and is] going to put an end to the Anglo-Saxon hegemony of world pop.” – El Mundo

This is in addition to a historic run of upcoming stadium shows already announced in México, with performances in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tijuana and Morelia

The 2021 run of the tour broke multiple records including the first ever sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ new SoFi Stadium. It was not just the biggest Latin tour of 2021 but the second biggest tour worldwide for the year, selling out 9 stadiums with almost half a million fans.

The Una Historia Cantada Tour also created one of the Latinx community’s biggest viral trends of 2021, as thousands of fans took to social media—posting the moment they presented tickets to their parents as a gift around Father’s Day. With the 2022 dates set to go on-sale this week, look for a possible repeat social presence in tandem with Cinco De Mayo and Mother’s Day.

With an announcement taking place at the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in LA, Los Angeles City Councilman Curren Price recognized Marco Antonio Solís, Joel Solís, Roberto Guadarrama, Eusebio “El Chivo” Cortés, Jose Javier Solís, Pepe Guadarrama and Pedro Sanchéz by officially declaring May 3, 2022 as Los Bukis day in Los Angeles. In addition, event MC Carlos Alvarez and famed comedian Gabriel (‘Fluffy’) Iglesias helped present the band and special plaques from Live Nation commemorating the record-setting success of the 2021 tour run.

The press conference ended with Los Bukis presenting a Mother’s Day gift to a special group of mothers who won the chance to be flown into Los Angeles for the announcement. The mothers in attendance came in from different cities on the upcoming U.S. and Mexico tour to help celebrate the final shows. Each of them were gifted two tickets to the tour stop in their cities together with a beautiful Mother’s Day flower bouquet and Los Bukis memorabilia.

About Los Bukis

Founded in 1976 by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís and dissolved in 1996, Los Bukis recorded 16 studio albums that quickly won the public’s heart and produced numerous chart-topping and Multi-Platinum to Diamond certified songs that are among the most revered by fans across the Latin Music spectrum. The Houston Chronicle details that, “Los Bukis emerged in the 1970s as a new force in the grupo genre with a cornucopia of hits. By the ’80s, they completely dominated Mexico’s pop-music scene.”

Surfaces- Awaken

Multi-platinum selling duo Surfaces team up with vocalist, producer, and composer Big Wild (Jackson Stell) for their enchanting new track “Awaken (Feel Alive)” – LISTEN HERE. The song began as a dreamy, fan-favorite instrumental from Big Wild’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘Superdream;’ Surfaces was enamored by the track, immediately drawn to the atmospheric production. When connecting in the studio, they kept returning to the idea of reimagining “Awaken.” In turn, Surfaces seemingly effortlessly wrote to the track – adding their sweeping vocals and lyricism to create a completely new, lush narrative in “Awaken (Feel Alive)”.The result: an electrifying collaboration showcasing the best elements of both Surfaces’ and Big Wild’s artistry.

“This collaboration came about in such an organic way and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out,” said Surfaces. “The original is so special on its own without words which made writing to it kind of daunting, but thankfully we got lost in a really special headspace and were able to come up with something that we felt did it justice. If this release does nothing more than put listeners on to the original, that’s a win in our minds.” 360 Magazine is excited to see artists collab with each other as Big Wild and Surfaces come together.

On the collaboration, Big Wild lauds Surfaces for their ability to amplify the track: “Over the last year, ‘Awaken’ has resonated with so many people and I began wanting to push the song further by adding lyrics and vocals. Connecting with Colin and Forrest was serendipitous as they already loved the original. Working with them was so natural and really elevated the song. The entire process was like lightning in a bottle. We’re really excited for everyone to hear it!”

Surfaces most recently released Pacifico (Deluxe), which featured four new tracks from the duo, including “C’est La Vie” featuring Thomas Rhett, and “Sheesh!” featuring Tai Verdes. The duo is currently in the midst of their 21-date “Good 2 Be Back Tour”, which kicked off September 8 in Phoenix, AZ, and will conclude on November 18 in Madison, WI. The tour includes special guests Verzache, Khai dreams, and Public Library Commute. Tickets are available on LiveNation.com.

Pacifico, the duo’s fourth studio album, was released on June 25, 2021, via 10K Projects – listen HERE. The project arrived after the success of their singles, “Wave of You”, “Next Thing (Loverboy)”, and “So Far Away”. “Wave of You” marked the duo’s biggest solo debut of their career and has been met with wide support across all major DSPs, including key playlists. Pacifico was recorded by Forrest Frank and Colin Padalecki at a home studio in Malibu, where they sonically channeled the energy of the beach to create the perfect summer album. Pacifico further established the duo’s unique sound, with Ones To Watch writing, “It’s not every day a pop-rock band comes along and reminds us of Bill withers, Hall & Oates, Beach Boys and Chance the Rapper all in one breath”.

About Trippie Redd:

One of the most versatile and creatively daring artists in hip-hop today, Trippie Redd makes music that’s both wildly experimental and massively appealing. Since delivering his debut mixtape A Love Letter to You in 2017, the multi-platinum-selling, chart-topping rapper, singer and songwriter has continually defied genre boundaries, embedding his melodic take on rap with frenetic elements of rock-and-roll and heavy metal. And with his penetrating lyrics and nuanced but hard-hitting vocal performance, the 21-year-old Ohio native matches that endless ingenuity with a powerfully raw emotional impact.

A self-professed workaholic who’s now debuted five consecutive projects in the top 5 of the Billboard 200 chart —Trippie got his start as a teenager “living in a basement with roaches recording music,” as he tells it. Born Michael Lamar White IV and raised in Canton, Ohio, he grew up on hip-hop icons like Tupac Shakur, Nas, and Jay-Z, but later became fascinated with the shock-rock of Slipknot and Rob Zombie. As he recalls, the urge to create his own music arose soon after his older brother (an aspiring rapper who went by the name Dirty Redd) died in a car accident when Trippie was 10. (“I took his dream and did it myself,” Trippie says now.) Drawing much of his inspiration from the free-flowing style and inventive lyricism of Lil Wayne, Trippie began recording in his cousin’s basement and later relocated to Atlanta to further hone his skills, quickly landing a record deal with 10K Projects.

Though 2020 brought its fair share of adjustments, Trippie used his time in quarantine to make some of his boldest career moves yet, including making his acting debut during an episode of Lil Dicky’s critically acclaimed DAVE and headlining Rolling Loud’s Loud Stream. Trippie also dropped his highly anticipated album, Pegasus, on Halloween. The mythical LP, which debuted at #2, included the intoxicating “Excitement” featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR and highlighted Trippie bridging the generational gap with the legendary Busta Rhymes on “I Got You.” The deluxe version of Pegasus comes in the form of NEON SHARK: Presented By Travis Barker, released in February.

This is James Blakes’ first new full-length album in three years. With Blake calling Friends That Break Your Heart a “concept album.”

About James Blake
The GRAMMY® Award-winning UK singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer unassumingly operates as the enigmatic engine behind some of the most influential albums of the 21st century. He produced choice cuts on Frank Ocean’s Blonde and Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. as well as JAY-Z’s 4:44 and Beyoncé’s Lemonade—to which he also lent his voice in both cases. Feature appearances span “Stop Trying to Be God” with Stevie Wonder and Kid Cudi on Travis Scott’s epic ASTROWORLD and “King’s Dead” with Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, and Future from the chart-dominating Black Panther: The Album. The latter not only went triple-platinum, but it also earned Blake his first GRAMMY® Award in the category of “Best Rap Performance.” Simultaneously, he emerged as pop’s most celebrated outlier with his dynamic solo output. He introduced a singular sound on 2011’s James Blake. Awarding the record a rare 9.0-out-of-10 score, Pitchfork crowned it one of “Top 100 Albums of the Decade So Far (2010-2014).” On its heels, the 2013 Overgrown illustrated his rare magnetic ability to align the likes of Brian Eno and RZA on the same project. It notably received the 2013 Mercury Prize and secured Blake’s “Best New Artist” nomination at the GRAMMY® Awards. After 2016’s The Colour In Anything, he reached new critical and commercial peaks with Assume Form during 2019. It bowed at #21 on the Billboard Top 200, marking his highest entry to date. Beyond clocking 300 million cumulative streams in under a year, it garnered the GRAMMY® nomination for “Best Alternative Album” and graced “Best of 2019” lists for outlets including Time Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Stereogum, Consequence of Sound, Billboard, DJ Booth, and Esquire. Additionally, he oversees 1-800 Dinosaur, which spans a club night, record label, and radio show. As he prepares his fifth album, James Blake’s shadow over popular music only continues to grow.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary, the band’s management Surfdog/DKM in conjunction with UMe have arranged several special releases and events, plus new merch with Live Nation and other partners to commemorate the milestone.

“Garden Grove” and “Pawn Shop” Official Music Videos: The official music video for fan favorite “Pawn Shop” will be released in the coming weeks and is animated in the style of psychedelic-surfer-punk-graffiti, inspired by late-night edgy animations with Sublime’s iconography morphing throughout. The “Garden Grove” video was shot as a “love letter” to the Long Beach lifestyle and was released earlier this year.

Travis Barker ProjectTravis Barker is currently in the studio producing covers, remixes and collaborating with artists of all genres to reimagine various Sublime songs from the iconic self-titled album.

“We’re not trying to write punk rock. We’re not trying to write reggae. We’re not trying to write ska,” Sublime‘s Bradley Nowell told KROQ in 1995. “We’re just trying to write a good song.” They did exactly that—time and time again. “What I Got,” “Santeria,” “Wrong Way,” and “Doin’ Time” remain innovative staples from the ’90s alternative boom. But they accomplished even more: In less than a decade within the national limelightthe laid-back Long Beach trio spawned an entire genre—fusing reggae grooves, punk grittiness, ska energy, back porch folk introspection, and hip-hop swagger. Decades after the tragic death of singer-songwriter Bradley Nowell, Sublime remain an institution: With over 18 million in album consumption in the U.S. according to MRC; and their merchandise, emblazoned with the iconic sun logo, dominates sales at retailers including Target, Urban Outfitters and Spencer Gifts. Most importantly, the music remains timeless—a rite of passage for misfit listeners who refuse to color within the lines of conventional genre.

About Sublime

Sublime, the Long Beach, CA, reggae-punk/alternative rock trio, was founded in 1988 by Eric Wilson, Bud Gaugh and Bradley Nowell. Their first self-produced album, 40oz. to Freedom, was released in 1992 via the band’s label Skunk Records. The success of that album and heavy radio exposure by Southern California’s KROQ (two years after its initial release) secured Sublime signing to MCA Records in time for the band’s 1994 sophomore album, Robbin’ the Hood, which revealed an experimental ethic more in keeping with cut-and-paste dub than the well-tuned rage of the Cali punk revival. The album performed well at college radio and set the stage for the breakout success of their self-titled third album. On May 25, 1996, however, lead vocalist and guitarist Nowell tragically passed away and the band collapsed, but the eponymous SUBLIME was still slated for a July 1996 release. On the strength of the chart-topping alternative radio hit “What I Got,” the album was certified gold by the end of 1996. “Santeria” and “Wrong Way” followed and enjoyed heavy airplay, and their self-titled album eventually sold more than seven million copies, making it one of the most popular reggae-punk albums in history. Such success spread to the band’s earlier albums too, leading 40oz. to Freedom to double-platinum sales and Robbin’ the Hood to gold certification. Sublime have gone on to sell millions of albums in the US, and their genre-defining music and their cultural influence is stronger today than ever before.
