Justin Bieber – 2021 World Tour

By Eamonn Burke & Mina Tocalini

Justin Bieber’s 2021 World Tour dates have been rescheduled in consideration of the Coronavirus pandemic. The tour, promoting his fifth studio album entitled Changes, was set to begin this past May but it will now start early June in 2021.

“I can’t wait to get out there and connect with my fans on this tour,” says Justin. “We’ve been through so much this year. More than ever, we’ve come to understand how much we need each other, and how meaningful these moments can really be.”

Individuals with tickets purchased prior to this update will be contacted by their ticket provider with further information regarding the tour and additional options if unable to attend the 2021 date, otherwise the ticket remains valid for the new date. All tickets from cancelled shows will be refunded, which can be expected within 30 days.

The new accommodations for the virus mean that he won’t be appearing at any stadiums, but to make up for it Bieber has added 19 new stops in major cities like Boston and New York. New artists will be joining Bieber, rather than Kehlani and Jaden Smith, who are no longer available. New tickets will be available for purchase on Thursday, August 6th at 10 AM local time.

The former teen sensation Bieber began his career at age 13, discovered by Scooter Braun on YouTube, and since then has released five albums, Changes being his latest. Bieber has sold over 150 million records and debuted number on Billboard 200, his fans’ dedication continued as he became the first musician to reach 7 billion streamers on Spotify. Despite having to reschedule his 2021 tour, Bieber’s success will likely continue in the future.

Produced by Live Nation, it will include shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (June 10), Forest Hills Stadium in New York (July 15), Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (July 24) and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (July 27). Since 2015, Halsey has amassed over 25 billion streams worldwide and sold more than 11 million adjusted albums globally. She has played sold out dates on five continents (including New York City’s Madison SquareNGarden), been nominated for a GRAMMY® and appeared on a wide variety of magazine covers, including Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, NYLON, Forbes, Playboy and Billboard. Her 2015 debut album, BADLANDS, was certified Platinum by the RIAA within one year of its release. Halsey claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with 2017’s Platinum-certified “hopeless fountain kingdom”, which contained such hits as the 2x Platinum “Now or Never” and the 4x Platinum “Bad at Love.” The success of the 6x Platinum “Without Me” has made Halsey the first and only female artist to have at least three songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for 50 weeks each. Rounding out the trio of songs are the 4x Platinum “Eastside,” her collaboration with Benny Blanco and Khalid, and The Chainsmokers’ 11x Platinum “Closer,” which she featured on. “Without Me,” which took Favorite Song, Pop/Rock honors at the American Music Awards, spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in early 2019, marking her first solo single to reach the top spot. It now ranks as the longest-running Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit by a female artist of thisNcentury. She is the first artist to rank at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously on Billboard’s Hot 100 Pop Songs radio airplay chart.

In March 2019, Halsey became the first artist in history to replace herself at No. 1 twice on the U.S. Pop Songs Airplay chart when “Without Me” returned to No. 1, bumping “Eastside” from the top spot. “Without Me” was the most-played song of 2019 at U.S. radio. She featured on BTS’ Platinum hit, “Boy With Luv,” and, more recently, alongside Future on “Die for Me,” a track from Post Malone’s new album. Halsey continues to push creative boundaries, expanding her influence and impact beyond music.

After making her film debut in the animated 2018 summer movie Teen Titans GO! as the voice of Wonder Woman, she was seen in A Star is Born, starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. She continues to use her voice to speak up for causes she passionately believes in, including disenfranchised youth, women’s rights, mental health and the LGBTQ community. GLAAD honored her in 2018 as “Outstanding Music Artist.” In 2019, she has won an AMA, the Hal David Starlight Award, presented by the Songwriters Hall of Fame, a VMA and two Teen Choice Awards.

JULIA MICHAELS AND NIALL HORAN RELEASE ACOUSTIC VIDEO FOR “WHAT A TIME”

WATCH IT HERE

GRAMMY® Award-nominated and multi-platinum selling artist JULIA MICHAELS releases the official video for “What A Time” with Niall Horan today. The two performed the song on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Watch HERE.

JULIA MICHAELS recently surprised fans with the release of INNER MONOLOGUE PART I, a collection of highly anticipated new music featuring collaborations with Selena Gomez on “Anxiety” and Niall Horan on “What A Time.”  Upon arrival, the EP debuted at #1 on the iTunes Pop Albums Chart and #5 Overall iTunes Albums Chart, prompting three worldwide trending hashtags on Twitter.  In addition to critical acclaim, the music also received extensive support from artists like Shawn Mendes, Sam Smith, James Bay, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Ingrid Michaelson, Selena Gomez, Niall Horan, and more.  Following the release, MICHAELS joined country superstar Keith Urban on the Australian Leg of his current world tour.

MICHAELS is currently on her first-ever headline tour, “The Inner Monologue Tour,” and is gearing up to release INNER MONOLOGUE PART II. She is also on tour with P!NK for her “Beautiful Trauma World Tour” through May.

In 2015, MICHAELS transitioned from behind-the-scenes as a top songwriter for the likes of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez into a force in her own right. She received two 2018 GRAMMY® Award nominations in top categories such as “Best New Artist” and “Song of the Year” for her debut single “Issues” from the 2017 mini-album Nervous System. “Issues” went triple-platinum, crossed 1 billion global streams, achieved consumption of 10 million, emerged as “the top-selling debut single of 2017, and scored a spot as the only solo female contribution on Variety’s “30 Most Consumed Songs of 2017” list.

MICHAELS fired on all cylinders throughout 2018. Featuring on Clean Bandit’s “I Miss You, she notched her first Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart in addition to co-writing and lending her voice to Shawn Mendes’ “Like To Be You,” Lauv’s “There’s No Way, and Noah Kahan’s “Hurt Somebody. She also landed her first #1 at country radio with Keith Urban’s smash “Coming Home. Not to mention, she wrote for everyone from Janelle Monàe and P!nk to Christina Aguilera and Jesse Ware as the year went on. Meanwhile, her solo single “Jump” [feat. Trippie Redd] cracked 100 million streams as she hit the stage at Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! and the Today Show Summer Concert Series to perform it. Along the way, she toured with the likes of Maroon 5, Keith Urban, Shawn Mendes, and Niall Horan. Monsta X & Steve Aoki “Play It Cool

GLOBAL POP SENSATIONS MONSTA X & STEVE AOKI RELEASE ENGLISH VERSION OF HIT SINGLE “PLAY IT COOL” TODAY

STREAM “PLAY IT COOL” ENGLISH VERSION HERE

Today, global superstars, Monsta X, and two-time Grammy nominated DJ and Producer, Steve Aoki, release the English version of their collaborative hit “Play it Cool.” On the heels of releasing the Korean version last month, the Aoki-Monsta force keeps fans on their feet with this new English language track. Aoki composed, arranged, and produced this track, alongside co-writer and Monsta X rapper, I.M.

The bouncy piano keys and punchy beat provide the foundation for Aoki’s iconic electro-pop sound, paired with Aoki’s use of Monsta X’s voices, to create texture and build the track as a whole. The initial chorus proclaims “And when you’re dancin’ in my face, I just play it cool,” followed by the lyrics “I love the way that you came over here” repeated over and over again in an edited sped-up hook that is impossible to get out of your head. Steve says, “their [Monsta X] voices dive into your soul”, so it’s no surprise that he would utilize their singing as a fundamental motif and driving force, outside of the vocal leads.

“Monsta X is one of those powerhouse groups that sets the bar very high,” stated Aoki. “Their voices stay with you long after the song is over, and on this track they sang so profoundly that all we had to do was focus on the story we were telling. I really believe in today’s world that we have redefined what love and relationships look like, so I think that this song is one that many people can relate to.”

“It was such an honor to work with Steve Aoki. He is truly an amazing artist and producer. We love how “Play It Cool” turned out at the end so much that we included it in our recent album – Take 2 ‘We Are Here’!” said Monsta X. “After the great success of the Korean version, we can’t wait to see the responses to the English version from all over the world. This collab is a gift from us to our ‘monbebe’ , for always taking care of us and keeping it cool. Thank you.”

Outside of this new collab with Steve, Monsta X have also announced a nineteen-date world tour beginning in April, ending with six U.S. dates. The band will be traveling all the way from South Korea to California throughout the course of their performances, ending at the historic Staples Center. Tickets are on sale Friday March 29th, 4:00PM local; follow the link here for more information. The band’s latest album, Take.2 ‘We Are Here,’ debuted at #5 on Billboard’s World Albums Chart for the week of March 2, 2019; and has been causing an unstoppable wave of interest with notable mentions in Complex, Idolator, Billboard, Cosmopolitan, and NME stating that the album “features some giant leaps forward for the band.” On top of that, the band is currently set to perform as the first K-pop group at the iHeartRadio Music Festival out in Las Vegas on September 21st, 2019.

ABOUT MONSTA X

Monsta X has been causing an unstoppable wave of interest here, with their history making performances at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball last December. Variety raved that Monsta X “was especially impressive, getting down with the acrobatics the group displayed on their hyped up, historic appearances as the first K Pop act to grace the Jingle Ball stage.” The Boston Globe referred to them as the “night’s most fascinating act” and MTV stated that they “had The Forum shaking and rattling.” Instyle stated; “If we were giving out an award for “Best Dancer” at the Jingle Ball, it would go to Monsta X, hands down. The K-pop band opened the whole shebang, and while their vocals were also great, they stole the show with their moves.”

In addition to that, the band continues to garner stellar reviews from media such as: MTV, Refinery 29, Buzzfeed, Allure, Idolator, Billboard, Dazed, Rolling Stone India, Popcrush “Monsta X is a group that cannot be overlooked.” They even made the cut for Pandora’s 2019 Artist’s To Watch, as the only K-Pop group included.

To date, the universally renowned Los Angeles band have achieved three GRAMMY Awards and become “the most successful group in the history of the Billboard Hot 100” with 12 Top 10 entries, sold over 20 million albums and 48 million singles worldwide. The band has additionally earned gold and platinum certifications in more than 35 countries. Maroon 5 won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid rock/R&B sound they introduced on their debut album, Songs About Jane and their double platinum album, It Won’t be Soon Before Long. In 2010, the band released their third studio album, Hands All Over, which featured the hit singles “Misery” and the anthemic “Moves Like Jagger,” which has become one of the best-selling singles of all time. In 2012, Maroon 5 released Overexposed, which quickly reinforced the group’s status as a powerhouse in popular music with all of the collection’s singles rising to the top of the charts. The band quickly also set a record for the most #1’s (six in total) by a group in the Top 40 chart’s 20-year history. Maroon 5’s most recent studio album, V, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart and featured the hit singles “Maps,” “Animals” and “Sugar,” all of which went #1 on the Top 40 chart. The music video for the album’s GRAMMY nominated single “Sugar” has notably logged a record setting 2+ billion views to date. 2017 saw the musicians release two additional chart-topping singles, “Don’t Wanna Know” and “Cold,” as well as close out a massive world tour that touched down in 30-plus countries for 120 concerts in front of more than 2.5 million fans. On this tour, Maroon 5 also became the first American artist to headline two nights at “Rock In Rio” in September 2017.
