Carley Rae Jepson The So Nice Tour

CARLY RAE JEPSEN – TSN TOUR

Multi-platinum GRAMMY, Juno, and Polaris Prize-nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen to announce a fall North American headline tour. Her first North American headline tour since 2019, The So Nice Tour will kick off September 24th at MTELUS in Montreal, QC, and will make stops at marquee venues including Radio City Music Hall in New York City and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Empress Of will support tour dates from Sept. 24 to Nov. 5 with her forthcoming EP Save Me out June 24.

The Artist presale is Wednesday, June 8 at 10 am local time. Fans can register for artist presale codes on Jepsen’s tour dates page HERE. General on-sale is Friday, June 10 at 10 am local time. Jepsen has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold will go to The Ally Coalition’s work to support homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth.

Two already announced co-headline dates with Bleachers; September 21 in Cleveland, OH, and September 22 in Toronto, ON, are already on sale and precedes The So Nice Tour. Jepsen will also make a stop in Austin on October 7 for the Austin City Limits Festival. See below for a complete list of tour dates.

Jepsen’s The So Nice Tour announcement follows the May release of her highly anticipated single “Western Wind,” and the accompanying video, which Jepsen first performed during her set at Coachella. Co-written by Jepsen and Rostam Batmanglij, “Western Wind” continues a collaboration the two musicians first kicked off with E*MO*TION. A major creative milestone for Jepsen, E*MO*TION inspired in-depth analysis from cultural critics and landed on multiple year-end “best of” lists including Pitchfork, Stereogum, Noisey, NPR, and many more. Released in 2019, her follow-up album Dedicated covered even more musical and emotional ground. Working with a crew of trusted songwriters and producers (among them John Hill, Jack Antonoff, Captain Cuts, Patrik Berger, and her longtime collaborator Tavish Crowe), Jepsen indulged in more sonic experimentation than she had in the past. She returned the following May with a gift for her fans: Dedicated Side B, a buoyant set of dance-floor tunes that affirmed her status as pop’s undefeatable ambassador of love. Much more to come from Carly Rae Jepsen in 2022.

Jesse McCartney – Kiss The World Goodbye

Jesse McCartney reveals new single and video, Kiss the World Goodbye, as well as announces fall tour dates.

Today, multi-platinum recording artist, singer, songwriter, and actor Jesse McCartney released his new anthemic single and video for Kiss The World Goodbye off his upcoming sixth studio album New Stage, due out Fall 2021. Representing a new chapter in his life, New Stage is set to mark his first full-length album in seven years. The video for Kiss The World Goodbye premiered on McCartney’s YouTube page at midnight last night. Later this year, McCartney will embark on a 2021 tour, in support of the forthcoming album, with pre-sale tickets available for purchase starting later today.

Inspired by his future wife, actress Katie Peterson, the single reflects their bond where they are ready to take on anything and everything. McCartney shares, “If this last year has taught us anything, it’s to hold our loved ones close. I hope my fans can overcome the fear and anxiety that has come with this pandemic, and if it helps, they can jump in the car with a friend or significant other, roll the windows down, blast this song, and just drive! This song is intended to inspire, even when you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. And when you have that special someone you can rely on, someone who can share in the good times and bad, it really gives you the sense that the two of you can take on anything.”

Kiss The World Goodbye is written by Jesse McCartney, Carah Faye (of Shiny Toy Guns and co-writer of Stay the Night performed by Zedd & Hayley Williams), and Morgan Taylor Reid (Grammy-nominated producer who has previously worked with Marshmello, Chromeo, Backstreet Boys, American Authors, MAX, etc.). The song follows last year’s singles Yours, an introspective look at the different roles he’s played throughout his life, and Friends, an homage to the people in one’s life who become chosen family.

Directed by brother & sister duo, Maxx & Madison, the music video is themed “us against the world,” and inspired by Bonnie & Clyde meets 1996’s Romeo & Juliet, co-starring McCartney’s fiancé Katie Peterson.

This November, McCartney is set to launch his tour in Austin, TX hitting over 20 cities before ending in Los Angeles. Pre-sale tickets go on sale today, July 21. General tickets go on sale starting July 23rd. There will also be VIP packages available for purchase. Additional details to come.

His first three albums—the platinum-certified Beautiful Soul (2004), Right Where You Want Me (2006), and Departure (2008)—consecutively bowed in the Top 15 of the Billboard Top 200 with the singles Beautiful Soul minted Gold and Leavin’ certified Platinum. Plus, he collaborated with T-Pain on the cross-genre banger Body Language. Meanwhile, SPIN touted In Technicolor as among its “Top 20 Pop Albums of 2014.” Along the way, he performed in arenas alongside the likes of New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys in addition to packing global headline tours and hosting shows for both George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

Following the release of her critically acclaimed sophomore album, Sling, 22-year-old American artist, songwriter, and producer Clairo has announced her 2022 headlining North American tour dates today. Produced by Live Nation, the 28-date tour will kick off on February 16 in Charlotte, NC at The Fillmore Charlotte with stops in Boston, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping April 16 in Atlanta, GA at Tabernacle.

“Now that shows are starting to come back into our everyday lives, it’s important to prioritize everyone’s experience to the fullest,” Clairo shared. “Everyone deserves a resource, and everyone deserves to enjoy the show in peace. I want the audience to know that there is someone who will listen and believe them at every show.”

Co-produced with Grammy® Award-winning producer Jack Antonoff, Sling was recorded at Allaire Studios in Upstate New York and features 12-tracks including Blouse, which the 22-year-old performed live on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month.

Rival Sons Announce Fall North American Tour

Rival Sons announce a fall headline tour to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their landmark album, Pressure and Time.

GRAMMY-nominated group Rival Sons will return to the road in North America on the Pressure and Time Tour this fall. The six-week headline run will see the band celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2011 album, Pressure and Time, by performing the landmark long player live in its entirety. The tour kicks off on September 29 at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and includes stops at legendary venues such as the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, the Riviera Theater in Chicago, The Warfield in San Francisco, The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and comes to a close on November 13 at House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. Most dates of the tour will feature support from Dorothy, with select dates supported by either Reignwolf or Myron Elkins. The official ticket pre-sale launches Wednesday, July 21.

For the first time, Rival Sons will perform their critically acclaimed and cult favorite second full-length album, Pressure & Time, from top to bottom. Upon its arrival in 2011, Pressure and Time garnered the band worldwide recognition and has since amassed over 40 million-plus streams and garnered widespread praise with the BBC affirming it is “simply stuffed with rollicking tunes.”

Last month, Rival Sons lit up Southern California with a two-night livestream event, Rival Sons “Pair of Aces: Live from the historic Catalina Casino on Santa Catalina Island.” They performed their debut LP, Before the Fire [2009], in its entirety on the first night and their self-titled EP, Rival Sons [2010], on the second.

Earlier this year, Rival Sons launched their very own label, Sacred Tongue Recordings, with distribution through Thirty Tigers. The band recently regained the master rights to several of their early releases and will reintroduce them to the world by first remastering their independent full-length debut LP, Before the Fire (2009), and self-titled EP Rival Sons (2010), on all DSPS, CD, and Vinyl – for the first time. They’ve printed up an exclusive run of 1000 copies of both Before the Fire and Rival Sons. Before the Fire will come in an orange splatter variant, while the EP is available in a clear with gold splatter variant. There will also be indie retailer exclusive colorways of each release in translucent orange and crystal clear, respectively. A repressing of Pressure and Time has not been announced but is expected in the coming months.

By looking back, Rival Sons also leap forward again as they continue working on more music and the follow-up to 2019’s Feral Roots, which not only garnered a 2020 GRAMMY Award nomination for Best Rock Album but also yielded a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Performance for the top 10 rock track, Too Bad, and features the #1 rock radio single, Do Your Worst. Produced by multi GRAMMY Award-winner Dave Cobb at Nashville’s famed RCA Studio A, and the equally legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Muscle Shoals, AL, Rival Sons’ Feral Roots is available now on all streaming platforms.

ABOUT TREY ANASTASIO

Over the past three decades, composer/guitarist/vocalist Trey Anastasio has forged a multi-faceted career, winning acclaim in rock, classical and theatrical circles. He is a founding member of Phish, one of today’s most successful and innovative rock bands. In the summer of 2017, Phish completed a residency at the world-renowned Madison Square Garden in New York – an unprecedented 13-night run known as The Baker’s Dozen. Phish’s total number of performances at the famed arena currently sits at 64.

Anastasio has received GRAMMY® nominations for his recordings with Phish and for his solo work. He has collaborated with such artists as Dave Matthews, Herbie Hancock, Carlos Santana, Toots and the Maytals, B.B. King and The Roots, and – as part of the trio Oysterhead – Les Claypool (Primus) and Stewart Copeland (The Police). He co-wrote the music for the Broadway musical Hands on a Hardbody, which received a Tony nomination for Best Original Score in 2013. In the summer of 2015, Anastasio joined the surviving four members of the Grateful Dead for five stadium shows, which celebrated the band’s 50th anniversary and served as their farewell shows.

Anastasio has performed his original compositions with numerous symphonies. The New York Times hailed his Carnegie Hall performance with the New York Philharmonic as “that rarest of rarities, a classical-rock hybrid that might please partisans from both constituencies.” In 2014, he debuted a new piece for guitar and orchestra, entitled Petrichor, on a West Coast orchestral tour that concluded with a performance at the Hollywood Bowl, marking his second performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. In April 2019, Anastasio released his 14th solo album, Ghosts of the Forest, which Rolling Stone said was “built around psychedelic guitar liftoffs, ambitious arrangements, and extremely personal lyrics.” Between Me and My Mind, a film documenting Trey’s creative process debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival and played a sold-out limited-run engagement in theaters this past summer.

James Vincent McMorrow × Paradise

James Vincent McMorrow shares the music video for Paradise from his upcoming album, Grapefruit Season, to be released on September 17.

“McMorrow has a soul voice to cherish” – Guardian

“The ever-shifting Irish singer-songwriter…it works” – Sunday Times, Hottest Tracks

“A deft collaboration, with James pushing his music onto a different realm, whilst maintaining that recognizable emotional pull” – CLASH

“Lyrically raw and immensely quotable” – The Forty Five

James Vincent McMorrow shares the video for new single Paradise, which is available now via Sony Music UK/RCA Records. Paradise is the latest taste of James’ much-anticipated new album Grapefruit Season – which also features teaser singles Headlights, Gone, and I Should Go (with Kenny Beats) – and is now set for release on September 17.

Produced by James alongside Paul Epworth and Lil Silva, Paradise is about pretending everything is fine when, beneath the surface, it really isn’t. Initially struggling to find its visual concept, the Paradise video started as an off-hand remark (“why don’t I just dig out my rollerblades and film myself learning to skate again in the park behind my house?”) but now feels like the perfect fit to the track’s uplifting, feel-good but melancholic center.

Paradise further previews Grapefruit Season, James Vincent McMorrow’s upcoming, fifth studio album – and one in which the artist, producer, and songwriter pushes himself (and his sound) in all new ways. The record was recorded between London, Los Angeles, and Dublin, largely before the pandemic struck. It embraces the timeless yet timely fact that life is chaos; the idea of growing up, but as Paradise suggests, still feeling none the wiser. Each song is held together by McMorrow’s instantly-identifiable voice, an untethered musical imagination, and (from dancehall to soul, country to R&B) purposefully little else in its pursuit of fear-free pop music. Even the title, Grapefruit Season, seems to signpost doing simply what you want, rather than what you are supposed to do – it was inspired by James watching his mum eat grapefruit as a kid, and the idea that what’s good for you may not actually be pleasurable.

Throughout the emotional highs and lows of Grapefruit Season, you are reminded of the risks James Vincent McMorrow has taken since the singer-songwriter roots of debut album Early In The Morning (which turned ten in 2020); but also that those same instincts – to follow inspiration wherever it leads, and to be as brutally honest possible – remain a refreshing constant. Whilst there may always be trouble in Paradise, what’s emerged is James Vincent McMorrow’s most essential album to date.

James also made headlines recently playing the first concert in Ireland with a live audience since the beginning of the pandemic (tickets sold out in just 30 seconds). With festivals including Latitude and Isle of Wight confirmed to follow this summer, McMorrow’s UK and European tour for early 2022 includes a London date at Kentish Town Forum on February 21 and two homecoming shows at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on April 19-20.

Coheed and Cambria X The Used Announce Tour

Special guests Meet Me @ The Altar and carolesdaughter will join the co-headlining tour on select dates.

Tickets on sale starting Friday, June 18 at LiveNation.com

Celebrated American rock bands Coheed and Cambria and The Used today announced their upcoming summer outdoor co-headlining amphitheater tour. The 18-city U.S. tour, produced by Live Nation, will begin on Friday, Aug 27 in Irvine, CA and make stops in Phoenix, Dallas, Cleveland, New Jersey, Worcester, and more. The late summer journey will feature special guests Meet Me @ The Altar and carolesdaughter on select dates, and will culminate with a performance at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL on Sept 24.

Most tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, June 18th at 10AM local time at LiveNation.com. A full listing of dates can be found below along with additional information on both CoheedAndCambria.com and TheUsed.net

It’s been over two years since Coheed and Cambria’s 2018 album, Vaxis I: The Unheavenly Creatures, was released as the band’s “return to concept” album. After stepping away with a more introspective album in 2015, frontman Claudio Sanchez and the band returned to the sci-fi universe of The Amory Wars in what was said to be the first of a 5-part series of albums. With 2021 upon us, and a major summer tour now announced, the volume of fans’ chatter for Vaxis 2 and what that will entail are loading up the band’s social media pages.

Coheed and Cambria is a rare band whose music can transcend scenes and effortlessly cross genres of rock – from indie to progressive, to metal and pop-punk to classic rock. The band is frequently compared to progressive, operatic rock bands of the ‘70s, ala Queen, Supertramp, or Rush due to their thrilling concept albums which take you on a grand journey of sounds and often clock-in around 110 mins, but still somehow include sugary pop-laden hooks.

The group’s following has grown steadily every album, partly due to their ferocious live show that brings fans to their knees with an equally expansive light show. This summer, the band will be performing songs from their expansive catalog, and we can only imagine they’ll pull a few new tricks up their sleeves.

Both bands began their careers 20 years ago this year and last toured together in 2003.

Painful and perverse, intimate, and obnoxious, aggressively heavy and irresistibly catchy, confusingly profound and primitively pedestrian – The Used transforms songs into anthems. The reckless honesty and unrelenting dedication that saw The Used kick down doors at radio and MTV, for a generation of disenfranchised post-hardcore provocateurs, persists today. It is newly remade with a sly shimmer that never sacrifices the band’s enchanting anarchy or restless soul.

Heartwork, the band’s eighth studio album (2020), arrives with the unbound spirit of the pair of platinum albums that first introduced The Used to the world, mixed with the dramatic flair of their gold-certified third. The emotion, sincerity, and vulnerability found on The Used (2002) and In Love and Death (2004) are more urgent and insistent than ever on Heartwork, a diverse 16-song offering filled with double entendre upon triple entendre. It traverses a thematic gamut of self-examination, hyper-literate exploration, political pyromania, and keenly self-aware yet unrestrained whimsy.

Coheed and Cambria and The Used will be making the following appearances across the U.S. this August and September.
