In the US, Walmart will have an exclusive version of the original Thriller album with an alternate 40th anniversary cover, while Target will have an exclusive version of the original album with a commemorative Thriller 40 vinyl slip mat.  Both of these will also be available outside the US from various retailers.

(An UltraDisc One-Step 180g 45RPM 2LP set of Thriller will be released at a future date.)

Visit HERE for further information and to Pre-Order.

Several activations are planned between now and the end of the year to honor Michael’s epic creation which won a record setting 8 Grammys, smashed musical barriers and changed the frontiers of pop music and videos forever.  Michael Jackson’s Thriller has spent more than 500 weeks on the Billboard album chart and has sold over 100 million albums since its release on November 30, 1982. The first such activation is the first drop of new merchandise featuring the special Thriller 40 logo which is now available exclusively through the MichaelJackson.com Official Site.

MORE ABOUT THRILLER:

Thriller holds a modern-day record of 37 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard. It was the first album in history to spend each of its first 80 weeks in the album chart’s Top 10, a feat only reached by one other album in the nearly four decades since. During its 112th week on Billboard’s album chart, it became the first title ever to be certified RIAA 20X multi-Platinum (October 30, 1984) and became the first title ever to be certified more than RIAA 30X multi-Platinum in 2015 and since has been certified at 34x Multi-Platinum.

Worldwide, Thriller went to #1 in practically every country in the world, including the UK, France, Italy, Australia, Denmark, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada and apartheid South Africa and remains the biggest selling album of all time with sales in excess of 100 million.  Seven tracks from the album became Top 10 singles, and three, Beat It, Billie Jean, and Thriller, went No. 1.

The music on Thriller was so singular for the time it defied any definition of rock, pop or soul that had gone before. Beat It was a new kind of pop-rock hybrid and demolished the longstanding segregation between black and white music with Eddie Van Halen’s incendiary guitar. On The Girl Is Mine, two men, one white and one Black, banter about the same girl. On the same album were songs like the African-rooted Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin and the rhythm and blues-based Billie Jean.

Michael set out to revolutionize how to tell a story and entertain on a grand scale through film but faced roadblocks. Despite the luscious cinematography, dramatic narrative and spectacular choreography of Billie Jean, a fledgling MTV, which was programming white rock artists almost exclusively, refused to play it. Epic persisted. Once the wall came crashing down, MTV’s ratings soared and a door was opened for a generation of African American artists. “He was MTV’s Jackie Robinson,” said cultural critic Touré.

Next, came the unforgettable short film for Beat It, which featured Michael bringing two gangs together through the power of music and dance. And then there was Thriller. Premiered at the AVCO Theatre in Los Angeles in 1983, it sold out every night for three weeks. No other video before or since has generated such excitement and has such a hold on our attention, such that 40 years later we all share it as a collective memory and it remains the only music video to be inducted into the elite National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.

Music from Thriller and other hit albums are featured in the Vegas show Michael Jackson ONE, at the Michael Jackson ONE Theater at Mandalay Bay as well as the acclaimed Broadway play MJ The Musical at the Neil Simon Theatre in NYC, which was nominated for 10 Tony Awards. Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil is an electrifying fusion of dance as well as acrobatics which wows audiences. Powered by his greatest hits in a state-of-the-art surround sound atmosphere. ONE takes the audience on a visual expedition–63 overly artistic dancers engaged in extensive choreography.

Michael has sold more than 1 billion records and remains one of the top streaming artists of all time.

Blessing debut ep via 360 MAGAZINE

BLESSING – DEBUT EP

Singer/songwriter Blessing releases her debut EP the girl next door. Listen HERE. The EP features previously released tracks characterboys like you which was included in Teen Vogue’s “New Music Friday” playlist upon release and girl like me along with new tracks freak, rage and 19 and peaked

Lyrically rich and sonically lush, the girl next door and its six songs are anchored by Blessing’s singular voice, a textured and emotional instrument than can swing as boundless and heartfelt as it can charmingly self-effacing and witty. A byproduct of Blessing spending her senior year of high school at home during a global pandemic, these songs pull from personal experiences and self-reflection as she was closing out her teenage years alone in her bedroom.

Speaking on the girl next door, Blessing shares, “Each of these songs are really the things I never bothered saying being that I felt no one was listening. That truly gave me the advantage to writing everything I was feeling at the time. I just thought well since no one is ever going to hear these I might as well say it all, regardless of how desperate, embarrassing, or unpleasant my words may be.”

About Blessing:

Hailing from Houston, TX, 20-year-old Blessing is the youngest of five siblings and through most of her life, she never felt like she fit in and eventually fell in love with the freedom you have in creating music, especially songwriting. With a sound that’s been called “irresistible” by American Songwriter, Blessing sets out to craft pop music with underlying R&B influences that dive into love, ambition, obstacles, and heartbreak – songs that map the innocent, messy, volatile growing pains of a teenager. Having just spent her senior year in high school at home during a global pandemic, Blessing draws inspiration from personal experiences and weaves her candid emotions and witty observations into catchy songs that teenagers and young adults can relate to.

About Gavin DeGraw

GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum singer and songwriter Gavin DeGraw‘s inimitable voice and soulful style boldly bloomed on his 2003 platinum-certified full-length debut, Chariot. It included the gold single “Follow Through,” as well as both platinum hits, “Chariot,” and “I Don’t Want To Be.” In 2008, his self-titled second album, Gavin DeGraw, bowed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 powered by the platinum-selling single, “In Love With a Girl.” 2011’s gold-certified Sweeter saw him return to the Top 10 as the single “Not Over You” went four times platinum. Meanwhile, his 2013 duet with Colbie Caillat, “We Both Know,” garnered a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Song Written For Visual Media” for Safe Haven. He’s the rare talent who could seamlessly share the stage with Billy Joel and The Allman Brothers or Maroon 5 and Shania Twain. In 2016, Something Worth Saving incited widespread critical applause from USA Today, Billboard, Entertainment Tonight and Huffington Post. With a front-row seat to this wonderfully wild little life led by his late parents Lynne and John Wayne, Gavin DeGraw recounts his most meaningful memories and valuable lessons on his seventh full-length offering, Face The River [RCA Records]. Sam Fscher – Hopeless Romantic

Following the release of his duet with Demi Lovato on ‘What Other People Say’, hit single ‘This City’ and recent fan track ‘Simple’, Sam Fischer has shared his emotional and uplifting new single ‘Hopeless Romantic’, available now through Sony Music UK/RCA Records. Check it out HERE.

In true Sam style, ‘Hopeless Romantic’ wears its heart on its sleeve and discusses the struggles Sam has faced as an artist and romanticizes what every-day life should be. While the song is lyrically deep and emotional, musically it is a melodic and uplifting pop song that builds to a catchy and bold chorus. Sam says; “There have been times over the past 2 years where I really felt like I’d never get to do the things I’d always dreamed about doing as an artist. With every virtual performance that ended with a deep silence from my furniture, it just started making me really sad, and at the same time guilty, because I wasn’t appreciating what I have at all. I was actively refusing to accept the reality and instead romanticizing a version of life that just simply didn’t exist. That’s really what Hopeless Romantic is about. Though I will say, having just come off of my first headline tour, where I got to meet my fans for the first time, who are the people who give me this life, I’m in a much better place.”

Sam’s debut single ‘This City’ currently stands at over 500 million worldwide streams and stayed in the UK Top 20 for 11 weeks. The track is also double platinum in Australia, platinum in the UK and Gold in the US, New Zealand and Switzerland. Sam also performed the track on US TV, including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Late Show With James Corden. He recently completed his first live tour in the UK, including a packed out London Garage performance and will be bringing the tour to the US in January 2022.

Australian born Sam Fischer first introduced himself with his Not A Hobby EP and has achieved incredible and well deserved attention through his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Touring North America with his friend Lewis Capaldi, he wowed crowds with his buoyant personality and pure love and talent for song-writing. Now based in LA, he not only has received acclaim for his own work, but he continues to solidify his spot as one of the hottest current writers, having worked with global pop superstars including Ciara, Lennon Stella, Louis Tomlinson, Elle King, Jessie J, Virginia To Vegas and many more.

However, it hasn’t all been plain sailing for Sam, who endured his own heartache to achieve his dreams. With the promise of a recording contract in the bag, he set off to LA only for the deal to be pulled away. After months of couch-surfing, he finally and deservedly received his break with This City and project Homework, which has been just the amazing start of an exciting new chapter in Sam’s career.

12AM – After Midnight

12AM releases new AFTER MIDNIGHT EP via Sony Music Entertainment in Canada. “VOICES”; featuring the Hxliday out now. “12AM has an innate ability to draft big choruses which is why more and more artists are tapping in to use his melodic talents.” LYRICAL LEMONADE. “It seems like everyone is trying to glorify the turn up right now, and 12AM definitely does that.” HIP HOP CANADA.

LA-by-way-of-Toronto artist 12AM redefines his sound and enters a new era on After Midnight. The EP arrives with the video for the new single Voicesfeaturing Motown rapper The Hxliday, out now via Sony Music Entertainment Canada. 360 Magazine is pleased to see this new release as it associates with Sony Music.

In the “Voices” video, directed by Logan Meis (Polo G, The Kid Laroi, Trippie Redd, Tyla Yaweh), the viewer is invited into the minds of 12AM and The Hxliday, both fighting against the darkest parts of their psyche and inner turmoil. With their thoughts tearing them apart, symbols of the past make their way in the form of angels, demons, and physical scars. They seem numb to the pain and reach a point where they might just be enjoying it. Each scene gets more and more violent as the story comes to a final climax.

On his major-label debut, the rising act’s pain and passion shine through as he forges a connection with his listeners worldwide. Introducing a bold sound, the lyrics equally shed light on his challenging upbringing and showcase his hard-won elevated lifestyle. Tapping Jutes, Pyrex (Whippa), and The Hxliday for the new project, 12AM continues to add to his impressive list of collaborators which includes 24kGoldn, Iann Dior, Jez Dior, Trevor Daniel, among others. Now sitting on top of over 26 million total streams, he appears on Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday and teardrop playlists, as well as Post Malone’s post’s playlist on the platform.

12AM states, “This music is what I’ve created throughout my time moving to LA from Canada. It’s a new sound and a new lane. All the hardships I’ve gone through over the last few years, I’m surprised I even got to this point because it was a really long road to get here. It was something that seemed impossible to put together and have be released, but itߣs coming out now and Iߣm really proud of it.”

The production on After Midnight illustrates stark differences from 12AM’s first album, Afterparty. Working with producers Evan Gartner (Iann Dior, Jutes, MASN) and Mason Sacks (Dominic Fike, Lil Tecca), the new EP has a dark and nocturnal trap palette that lives up to 12AM’s name. He states “it’s the type of music you like to play or listen to after midnight super happy, energetic, depressed and alone or with somebody getting down…I wanted to embody every feeling you get After Midnight, life is usually the most real at that time.”

After Midnight gives us a deeper look into the world 12AM has navigated and created for himself. His endless hustle, effortless bravado, and all-or-nothing attitude have certainly earned his place in the game. The EP’s opener “Cold Season” sets the scene around 12AM’s life before moving to LA, living in the frigid cold of Canada with an inescapable feeling of isolation. For most of his life, he was responsible for taking care of his sick mother, until he tragically lost her in his teens. “If I could see my momma one more time Iߣd tell her that I’m all good,” he sings on the track, “I’d be lying but it’s all good…” At a young age, he struggled to financially support himself alone and eventually faced homelessness. Hit with these insurmountable burdens, he bottled up his emotions and channeled what he could in his writing. “Voices” paints a picture of the aftermath, torn emotions, and a heavy guard up due to inner child wounds. The lyrics describe the fallout of heartbreak, one day having the support of a loved one and left for dead the next. With distant distorted and melancholic piano strings, The Hxliday joins in seamlessly on the back half of the track with a striking feature that matches 12AMߣs energy. Paired with a booming 808 and stuttering high hats, alongside the duoߣs unmatched flow, the song explodes into an anthem about love and loss. The EP isnߣt all moody bangers though “come over” is a playful, sultry groove with a “Netflix & Chill” kind of vibe that garnered success on TikTok over the summer, including a post from influencer Sommer Ray who joined in on the dance trend. Other tracks on the EP include “Lights” featuring Pyrex (Whippa) and “Ski Mask.”

With more music on the horizon, the future looks incredibly bright and 12AM’s repertoire is only at its inception. Prolific in his dexterity, 12AM is consistently writing for other artists as well as himself. He can be seen frequently working with Elijah Woods and Omer Fedi (Kid Laroi “Without You,” 24kGoldn & Iann Dior “Mood,” and Lil Nas X “Montero”). Touring accolades include shows with Internet Money, Iann Dior, Jez Dior, 24kGoldn, Jutes, Trevor Daniel, and Souly Had. No stranger to media coverage and acclaim from tastemakers, praise has rolled in from industry key players such as Complex, Elevator Mag, idolator, Lyrical Lemonade, and Vice’s Noisey.

Reflecting on his work, 12AM says, “My main focus is just to help people. That’s why I make music. When I get messages from fans saying Iߣve helped them through depression or whatever they are going through it means the world to me, I canߣt really believe it. That’s what I do this for. Whenever I play a show and fans are singing the lyrics back and when they meet me after the show I just want to have a positive impact and be there for them, because they are all that matters in this music industry.”

MÅNESKIN × IGGY POP — “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE”

Måneskin gave me a big hot buzz.” —Iggy Pop

It was touching seeing him sing ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave’ live in front of us, it was very powerful to see such a big artist being so open and friendly. James Vincent McMorrow × Paradise

James Vincent McMorrow shares the music video for Paradise from his upcoming album, Grapefruit Season, to be released on September 17.

“McMorrow has a soul voice to cherish” – Guardian

“The ever-shifting Irish singer-songwriter…it works” – Sunday Times, Hottest Tracks

“A deft collaboration, with James pushing his music onto a different realm, whilst maintaining that recognizable emotional pull” – CLASH

“Lyrically raw and immensely quotable” – The Forty Five

James Vincent McMorrow shares the video for new single Paradise, which is available now via Sony Music UK/RCA Records. Paradise is the latest taste of James’ much-anticipated new album Grapefruit Season – which also features teaser singles Headlights, Gone, and I Should Go (with Kenny Beats) – and is now set for release on September 17.

Produced by James alongside Paul Epworth and Lil Silva, Paradise is about pretending everything is fine when, beneath the surface, it really isn’t. Initially struggling to find its visual concept, the Paradise video started as an off-hand remark (“why don’t I just dig out my rollerblades and film myself learning to skate again in the park behind my house?”) but now feels like the perfect fit to the track’s uplifting, feel-good but melancholic center.

Paradise further previews Grapefruit Season, James Vincent McMorrow’s upcoming, fifth studio album – and one in which the artist, producer, and songwriter pushes himself (and his sound) in all new ways. The record was recorded between London, Los Angeles, and Dublin, largely before the pandemic struck. It embraces the timeless yet timely fact that life is chaos; the idea of growing up, but as Paradise suggests, still feeling none the wiser. Each song is held together by McMorrow’s instantly-identifiable voice, an untethered musical imagination, and (from dancehall to soul, country to R&B) purposefully little else in its pursuit of fear-free pop music. Even the title, Grapefruit Season, seems to signpost doing simply what you want, rather than what you are supposed to do – it was inspired by James watching his mum eat grapefruit as a kid, and the idea that what’s good for you may not actually be pleasurable.

Throughout the emotional highs and lows of Grapefruit Season, you are reminded of the risks James Vincent McMorrow has taken since the singer-songwriter roots of debut album Early In The Morning (which turned ten in 2020); but also that those same instincts – to follow inspiration wherever it leads, and to be as brutally honest possible – remain a refreshing constant. Whilst there may always be trouble in Paradise, what’s emerged is James Vincent McMorrow’s most essential album to date.

James also made headlines recently playing the first concert in Ireland with a live audience since the beginning of the pandemic (tickets sold out in just 30 seconds). With festivals including Latitude and Isle of Wight confirmed to follow this summer, McMorrow’s UK and European tour for early 2022 includes a London date at Kentish Town Forum on February 21 and two homecoming shows at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on April 19-20.

Måneskin, the world’s most-streamed Italian artists on Spotify – with 34 million streams in the last month, just broke another unprecedented record, skyrocketing to number 1 on the Spotify Global Chart with Beggin’, and also cracking the world’s charts with I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE and ZITTI E BUONI.  All three of the tracks recently reached #1 On Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 chart.

Zitti e Boni and I Wanna Be Your Slave are part of the band’s new album Teatro d’Ira – Vol. I, released on March 19, certified platinum in Italy and now basts over 400 million streams.

Following their epic win at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, Måneskin have climbed up the charts worldwide, achieving unprecedented results for Italian artists: they are the first Italian band in the history to crack the UK Singles Chart with two singles at the same time – at #6 and #10 – and collecting new gold and platinum certifications every week, in Italy and around the world.

MANESKIN ARE COMING FOR THE U.S. NEXT – the young Italian rock group has become a force to be reckoned with this year. And in just the past few weeks, their profile in the United States has taken a giant leap…Maneskin’s English-language single ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave,’ a song now helping to bring rock music back to the airwaves in the United Kingdom, started rocketing up the U.S. charts as well. ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave’ hit the top of Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart the week of June 26, becoming the act’s first stateside No. 1. It makes perfect sense when considering the accessible strain of rock that Maneskin produce — a bouncy, guitar-fueled sound that brings to mind the 2000s garage rock explosion… Yet Maneskin’s production style is more polished, lending itself to the massive amount of radio airplay and internet spins they’ve amassed – LOUDWIRE

There’s an alluringly dark look in Damiano David’s black-lined eyes that’s almost like a challenge… David looks like he was hewn by an ancient Roman god of rock and roll — and sex. When I think of a sex symbol, I think of David… His band, Måneskin, is pushing boundaries and bringing a modernized glam rock into the limelight. Their surge to popularity hopefully marks a resurgence era of rock… While many of the artists I characterize as glam rock used their ambiguous, flamboyant dress as a form of expression for their sexuality, Måneskin is normalizing a more gender-fluid presentation…Måneskin could care less about social constructs. Everything about them is art… These 20-year-olds are embodying the Gen-Z tendency for nonconformity and a distaste for machismo’s objectification of women and hindrance of men’s actions and appearance. The way they present themselves is a visual treat… [and] completely badass… The way that Måneskin incorporates gender-bending fashion is tantalizing and only adds to their sex appeal …There’s a spirit and sensuality. They’re starting a conversation and to me that means they’re doing something new and right… Måneskin’s conversion of glam rock into a modern rock look, while creating global hits is going to make them eternal. – Megan Ramsey. BIOGRAPHY

Revelation of the year, Måneskin, which means moonlight in Danish, is formed by: vocalist Damiano, bassist Victoria, guitarist Thomas and drummer Ethan. Some band members have been friends since junior high, but they started playing together only in 2015. Their sound is characterized by a combination of the different members’ music influences: a mix of rock ’n’ roll, rap/hip hop, reggae, funky and pop, all held together by lead vocalist Damiano’s soulful voice. This combination of vibes is also reflected in the band’s look, made unique by each member’s fashionable style. The young artists had the chance to really stand out and reach out to the public at the X Factor 11 live shows, where they unexpectedly dominated the stage, a great endeavour given their very young age. Chosen, their debut single that was released during the show, boasts several million streams and views and was certified double platinum. Chosen is also the title of their debut EP, released in December 2017 by Sony Music and produced by Lucio Fabbri, which was certified platinum just two months after it was released.

All the dates of their first 21-date tour produced by Vivo Concerti (February/April 2018) sold out in a few hours. The single Morirò da Re (three-times platinum) was released in March 2018, followed by Torna a casa (five-times platinum). These tracks paved the way for the new album Il ballo della vita  entirely written by Måneskin and produced in collaboration with Fabrizio Ferraguzzo, which was released on October 26, 2018. The record made its debut at #1 on the FIMI/Gfk chart with four singles earning a spot on the Top Ten and, less than two hours after its release, it peaked to #1 on iTunes, cracking, just a day after its release, the Spotify TOP 50 with all its songs and hitting 1 million streams in less than 24h. In February 2019, the band went on tour across Europe, before returning to the best music clubs and festivals in Italy as part of the spring-summer leg of IL BALLO DELLA VITA TOUR, which ended on September 14, 2019 with a special date at Carroponte in Milan. Måneskin then performed at a sold-out special live show held on November 28, 2019 at The Dome in London.

Damiano, Victoria, Thomas and Ethan have so far earned 23 platinum and 5 gold records, collecting over 140,000 tickets sold and 70 sold-out dates in Italy and Europe. On October 30, 2020 they released their new single Vent’Anni, accompanied by a campaign shot by celebrated photographer Oliviero Toscani. Måneskin won the 71st Sanremo Music Festival with the song ZITTI E BUONI, and then conquered the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. The release of their second album Teatro d’ira – Vol. I on March 19, 2021 will be followed by a 13-date tour held, for the first time ever, at sports arenas across Italy, which will kick off in December 2021 and end at the Arena di Verona on April 23, 2022, as well as by a tour across Europe’s greatest Music Festivals, which is scheduled for the summer of 2022.
