A Personalized Luxury Accommodation in a Contemporary Atmosphere.
Choosing the right hotel may be a daunting undertaking, but once you’ve selected the right one, it’s usually a repeat. Clement Hotel is a repeat; we learned that one overseas family has been occupying two rooms for nearly 3 months. Opened since March 2016, Palo Alto hosts a six-star hospitality experience with one of the most advanced, and unique luxury all-inclusive establishments in Northern America. This pristine property is situated in Silicon Valley, just 30 minutes south of San Francisco and 20 minutes north of San Jose; the perfect location to avoid the hectic city life and dull suburbia.
The Clement Hotel follows a concept that is unprecedented, truly a one-of-a-kind. It’s secret? They just pay really close attention to each of their clients. Upon check-in, every client receives a personal concierge. Your concierge functions as an assistant, who facilitates your stay by supplying every need. Ours even assisted with providing a very specific, yet, makeshift listing of events, bars and restaurants within the San Francisco area, that played top 40 hip-hop. Prior to arrival, patrons complete an email survey with dietary restrictions, special needs, requests and preferred cuisines. The client relations representative is a “genie in a bottle,” that makes its customer’s wishes come true.
Always armed with a WiFi connected tablet, they can answer any queries or concerns about virtually any pressing issue that surfaces in any area of the property. And, if you’ve seemingly lost them, don’t fret because they’re strapped with an in-house networked iPhone with an extension so they’re reachable via text or call throughout the campus.
Once inside the rooms, the Clement Hotel showcases exquisite quality and embellishments. There are 23 stylish king suites available throughout 4 floors and all of which are well-equipped with cell phone chargers, international electricity outlets and floor to ceiling windows. The 650 sq. ft., single-bedroom offers modern and sophisticated comfort, providing an intuitive layout with an array of carefully curated amenities to enhance the guest’s stay. State-of-the-art technology is combined with comfort of the highest standard, such as luxurious Frette linens, 65-inch Samsung Smart TVs, Nespresso Vertuoline coffee machines, powered blinds and fully stocked in-room refrigerators. The bathrooms are lavish, containing a small screen TV concealed inside the mirror and a heated seat Toto toilet/bidet equipped with an infrared remote control. The glass stall showers are tourist, celebrity and business traveler ready, installed with rain head or massage handles. Or, enjoy a relaxing bath in its deep-soak tub with salts provided. Another meticulous detail that adds flair to this space, are the heated floors with wall thermostat control.
After a night on the town at San Francisco’s “Love + Propaganda” 360 Magazine enjoyed a toasted sesame bagel with salami, pepperoni and thinly sliced meat alongside of microwaved Brie cheese at 3AM in the 24-hour kitchen pantry. A fully stocked 6-foot display case refrigerates bottled refreshments alongside of an extensive variety of yogurts and Tin Pot, a local handcrafted ice cream prepared with organic ingredients. Not to mention, various granola bars, fruit and pre-wrapped goodies were sprinkled throughout. Other all-inclusive service and amenities include: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks; all non/alcoholic drinks, inroom banqueting, minibar, business center, valet parking, twice-daily housekeeping services, overnight shoe shine services, high-speed internet, personal experience specialist and gratuities. Not to mention, an open bar service available anywhere in the hotel. This convenience-styled hotel is hosted by a very attentive and sympathetic staff that makes sure visitors feel at home at every moment. After all, business is all about relationships, and traveling alone after-awhile can be lonely. But, Clement actually makes lonely travels preferable, the entire staff is accessible, extremely professional and charismatic – our newest friends!
Guest’s visitors are also permitted to luxuriate in all that The Clement Hotel has to offer. An exclusive chef presides over “The Kitchen” area, which holds many of your tasteful dishes. In fact, one afternoon, former resident chef, Phillip Pagan, prepared appetizers (homemade potato chips) with built-in deep fryer at the island (adjacent to dining/living area), where the team freely reminisced about our recent travels and the gorgeous Jaguar F-Pace First Edition, which was our means of transportation.
Business drop-ins have access to secure private rooms that are well equipped for teleconferencing. They are ideal for receptions, private meals and activities. All attendees have complete access to all the above mentioned amenities and valet parking. In fact, most vehicles are kept underneath the property in a lower level garage, which is only accessible to staff.

After a laborious week at the LA office, we were enthralled by the luxuriant gardens and service culture of this particular property – seven floors containing 269 soundproofed rooms with a 24hr front desk. As soon as we hopped out our Dodge Challenger SRT, we were greeted by valet and whisked past an enchanting array of crystal chandeliers throughout the hall. Across from check-in was a refined coffee bar. A perfect stir for coffee and a quick bite. Adjacent is its premiere “Lobby Lounge” restaurant which had a picturesque view of central grounds, including whimsical waterfalls.
There is an extensive spectrum of amenities and services offered as part of the Taste of Wellness package. The Life Strategies Consultation was the first activity 360 Magazine took part in. It is planned to give you a customized plot, featuring realistic strategies to overcome life’s obstacles, skills for conflict resolution and building relationships. The Detox Body Wrap comprises of a full body exfoliation, scalp and neck massage, topped off with a Nanogold Repair Eye Mask, using natural collagen that diminishes wrinkles, reduces redness and evens skin too. This deep therapeutic treatment relaxes intense muscles and turns over an undeniable glow.
After our treatments, each of us snacked on granola, apples, and sipped herbal tea while viewing the indoor cascading water fountain. Next, we took advantage of the plunge pools, sauna, steam room and mosaic hot tub. We finished the long, yet, relaxing day enjoying a walk around the 450,000 sq. ft. grounds of the hotel. Don’t you dare cheat yourself by missing out on witnessing breathtaking views of the fifteen acres of verdant landscaping. We relished in the spa lounge, walked the grounds, reflected on our experiences, and next was dinner. In the Wellness Kitchen, enjoyed a glass of vino and dinner at the “Wine Wednesday” demonstration cooking class conducted by Paulette Lambert, R.D., CDE. Each meal is inspired by the current season, of which you visit, and is paired with a balanced tasting from a local winery. It’s a great replenishing meal after a day of total relaxation (check official site for dates and times). If you have toddlers and/or teens in tow, there’s a supervised children’s club, as well as, an arcade/game room to keep them satisfied. Moreover, we all know a glass of merlot can be messy, but don’t fret because dry cleaning and laundry services are on campus and eager to serve. If you’re an overachiever that doesn’t let off on enhancing your physical strength, the gym facility contains most equipment offered at premiere fitness institutions, akin Equinox.
360 Magazine’s stay at the Four Seasons Westlake was one that we hope to experience again. Every moment was savored, reflected upon, and written about. Why? Known as “The Garden of France,” the Loire Valley flourishes in the summer and fall months with a bounty of events, exhibitions and experiences taking place in and around the region’s many gardens. Below is a selection of some of the many experiences to find in the Loire Valley in the coming months.
Live Music at Château Royal of BloisThrough July 29, 2022
The historic Château Royal of Blois, a favorite residence of seven kings and ten queens of France, will fill its gardens with live music this summer. Occurring every Friday through July 29, concerts will be held in the shade of century-old chestnut trees and cedars from a wide variety of music genres, including jazz, bossa nova, folk, great French standards, classical and Renaissance music. Changing every week, this year’s program will honor women; visitors can also view the Château’s current exhibition, La Renaissance des Femmes, dedicated to three of its famous former residents: Catherine de Medici, Diane de Poitiers and Marguerite de Valois.
Nights of a Thousand Lights & Vegetable Garden Days at Château de VillandryJuly, August & September
The grounds of Château de Villandry are not only home to the beautiful Renaissance-era Château, but also to an expansive network of gardens that are open year-round, including a maze, two ornamental gardens and a water garden. On July 1 and 2, as well as August 5 and 6, the Château de Villandry will host the‘Nights of a Thousand Lights,” illuminating the gardens with more than 2,000 candles at night, making for a dreamlike experience. The evening also features an aerial performance by specially trained eagles and other birds of prey that will conclude with a fireworks finale. September 24 and 25 will be dedicated to the property’s lush vegetable garden, where the on-site gardeners will share exclusive botanical tips and tricks with visitors.
Sculptures in the Garden at Domaine de Poulaines Through November 7, 2022
Spanning 62 acres, Domaine de Poulaines is home to some of the most impressive gardens in the Loire Valley, including an arboretum with more than 1,200 plants. Currently on display on the estate is a new exhibition created in collaboration with prolific French sculptor Olivier Giroud, which explores the ways nature and man-made design can be combined through art. Giroud began his work as an artist in the 1980s and is known for his ability to work with a wide variety of materials, including clay, metal and wood.
New Offerings at Le Jardin de Marie After 30 years of tending to the gardens at Le Jardin de Marie, Marie Marcat is passing on the torch to new owners, who intend to preserve the garden’s legacy and expand its offerings. Located just a few miles from the vineyards of Sancerre, Le Jardin de Marie will offer a new educational garden for children, along with a new vegetable garden and permaculture orchard highlighting the region’s biodiversity and botanical heritage. New guest accommodations, sleeping up to 12 people, will soon open at the gardens, in addition to a new cafe. Le Jardin de Marie will also introduce cooking lessons that approach the art of cooking from a unique angle, such as a course on cooking with old vegetables instead of throwing them away.

Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclubwill celebrate an unprecedented milestone in Las Vegas nightlife with its 25-year anniversary at the end of the month. Designated as “Drai’s Day” on June 25, 2017, the weekend will kick off a series of unforgettable performances, parties and events through the end of the year, starting with performances by French Montana at Drai’s Nightclub on Friday, June 24 and at the Beachclub on Saturday, June 25. TIP will take over the stage at Drai’s Nightclub on Saturday, June 25. Cordae will wrap things up at the nightclub with an incredible performance on Sunday, June 26.
Founder and visionary Victor Drai brought Drai’s, his uber-popular Los Angeles restaurant, to Las Vegas in 1997. By 1999, Drai’s had become Las Vegas’ in-demand hotspot for after-hours, with a line of people clamoring to get in from late at night through the early morning. In 2014, Drai expanded his nightlife footprint to the 11th story rooftop of the hotel with the introduction of Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub, a palatial 65,000-square-foot club, as part of the property’s rebrand to The Cromwell, a swanky boutique hotel. Drai’s After Hours remains in its original location in the basement of the property – where the walls are still awash in Drai’s signature red with Victor’s legendary art collection hanging from the walls.
