Frankfurt offers many different museums that attest to the modern culture of the city. One of these was the MOMEM Museum. This museum highlighted techno music and the contributions of artists to the field. Showcasing a multitude of individual artists and DJ’s allowed for a more cohesive showing of international technological music. The celebration of the art was culminated in the showing of the past and present of electronic music and the intersection of club music and modern life.

On weather-allowing days, the Main Tower in Frankfurt offers the best views of the city. The 56 story skyscraper illuminated the best views in the city. The main tower also had dining and art areas and offerings adding the modern and contemporary air of Frankfurt.

Esther Perbandt on IMDB.

Esther Perbandt has to be one of the most dynamic fashionistas of the modern day. Dressed in all black like the omen, she breathes fire into anyone in her line of sight. In fact, It’s one of the reasons why we all fell in love with her on Making The Cut. Recently, we literally bumped into her during a recent trip to Berlin. She’s an impressionable soul who breathes new life into someone who has been depleted by the daily grind or trauma. She moves like water, taking on the shape of whatever space she fills. “I would never have applied to the show because it’s really commercial,” Esther says of how she got on Making The Cut, “I was known in Berlin for being the arty Esther doing big fashion shows and theater. The word commercial was a no-go for me.” “When I read it (the invitation), I was like no way, not me,” luckily she didn’t answer right away, “but then I said: ‘Esther If you think twice, this is exactly what you need. Finally, the international attention.’ I was working my ass off at the time but it wasn’t really working.” The Queen of Black may not have won her Amazon Prime contest for a million dollars, but she’s certainly gained a million fans across the globe. Her supportive nature, loyalty, and tenacity have led to numerous collaborations, including the first-ever jewelry capsule with Adidas.

She admits that she isn’t as sustainable as she had hoped to be as a designer, but at least she is aware of her shortcomings. She does, however, state that she will drive two hours for locally sourced materials such as zippers made in Germany. “I have the goal to become sustainable or maybe 100% sustainable in ten years,” Esther states, “the vision of my brand in ten years is very digital, so I’m playing a lot with digital fashion…and also using it as a tool to become more sustainable.”

You’d have to be a fool to believe that this unpolished, meticulously engineered black diamond won’t have her moment to shine. Someone who has struggled on her path to success will eventually prosper. “People love to invite me to speak because I’m very honest,” Esther admits, “I talk about how bad it was sometimes that I was sleeping on the floor because I had to rent my apartment to get some money in, or how I had to take out large bank loans that I was almost unable to repay. But this is the life of a designer, and it was a decision. And it was also a decision not to have a family because I knew this job would be 24/7, and I wanted it and still want it.” Her passion for fashion, and meticulous attention to detail, combined with her monochromatic ensembles accented with gold accessories, will keep her on top. It is the reason why we celebrate her. Why we adore her. And how she takes on tasks at the drop of a hat – two collections per year, countless magazine covers, and speaking engagements in addition to Vogue editorials. Esther also held a solo exhibition of her artworks last year. “All of them were inspired by my collection. I used the same techniques and the same materials, but just created some 3D sculptures which you can put on the wall,” She explains. “I can’t focus solely on fashion for 365 days a year; I need some distractions,” Esther confesses. “So this art is part of it, and I’m hoping that this distraction will get me back into fashion, which is exactly what happened.” With so much talent at her disposal, she will stand the test of time, strangling fast fashion with her bare hands, just like her Avant trademarks. Her heart and keen ability to visually tell a story is what will propel her career forward.

Michelin starred Chef Sakari Smithwick of Chopped and Hell's Kitchen on Fox interview with Vaughn Lowery via 360 MAGAZINE.

Most-Fascinating

360 MAGAZINE has compromised a list of industry disruptors, which we know will globally make a lasting impression within their respective industries.

Sakari Smithwick, now 28, embarked on a culinary voyage at the tender age of 15. More quickly, in his early 20s, he made several appearances on very recognizable television shows such as Chopped and Hell’s Kitchen on Fox. His eight-year TV trip helped him become what we once saw as an aspiring tycoon. With his innate ability to tell stories alongside his family recipes, this young man is poised to become a heavyweight in New York City’s restaurant scene. Its concept is to handpick a tribe of marginalized food and beverage professionals and create a coordinating organization where they acquire an open air market to introduce a seasonal rotating menu. Of course, patrons will have the opportunity to procure NFT‘s that represent the place, offering them a sense of ownership. Such an ecosystem is one of the most dynamic business models among emerging entities. Additionally, he plans to launch the institution around mid-2024. However, Sakari, a Michelin-starred chef with a lot of TV buzz, could see his dreams come true a lot faster than he expected.

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gene Noble performs at SOB’s in NYC via 360 MAGAZINE.

Gene describes this project as “A reintroduction and full circle moment.” During the adolescent stage of his career, he ponders on previous performances at the iconic venue. Constantly honing his craft and cultivating a strong fanbase, this was an opportunity tailored to the gifted artist who had just finished a tour with the legendary Sting.

Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Gene Noble kicks off the new year with his latest album, Feel A Way. The New York-bred vocalist shares his highly-anticipated LP, which builds on the momentum of “Whatever It Is” released at the tail end of 2022.

After taking to social media to let fans know about his future release plans, Gene is ready to turn the page on a new chapter in his sonics. Feel A Way seizes on both the creative and personal liberation that Gene has experienced over the years. The album’s eight tracks are an anecdote of self-reflection as he comes to terms with the reality of working through his feelings.

On the new LP, Gene explains:
“This whole project is full of songs that I’ve recorded literally around the world. It’s me being in different feels, in different moments, and having different thoughts.”

Unlike anything he’s shared previously, Feel A Way is a sonic journey through acceptance and forgiveness, baring his process of growth as Gene looks inward for an unconditional love.

Alongside the release of his new score, Gene has kicked off his Feel A Way album release shows to support his new project, starting yesterday (Jan 19) at SOB’s in New York. About Gene Noble:

Gene Noble is the most experienced “newcomer” in R&B music today. As he continues the lineage of artistry that runs deep in his family – both of Gene’s parents were singers – the New York-born crooner got his start by singing out of local venues before getting his first “big break” performing alongside Lauryn Hill. This defining moment in his career would prove to be a precursor for what lies ahead, allowing Gene to hone in on a natural talent that changed his life for the better. A Letter to My White Friends – Steven S. Rogers

What You Can Do Right Now to Help the Black Community

From the life, professional experiences, and research of former Harvard Business School professor Steven S. Rogers comes his boldly stated, A Letter to My White Friends and Colleagues. This informative epistle investigates the causes of racial wealth disparity in the United States and provides solutions for addressing it. Through extensive data and historical research, anecdotes, teaching, and case studies, it presents practical ways White people can work with and help the Black community. It teaches readers that eliminating the $153,000 wealth gap between Black and White people is the solution to over 75% of our problems and offers solutions to help improve Black-White racial relations in the United States.

In straightforward language, filled with facts, stories, advice, and sometimes even humor, A Letter to My White Friends and Colleagues encourages every White person to share his/her wealth with the Black community—plain and simple. This book recommends that you spend a portion of your annual household budget with Black-owned companies. If more money is spent on Black-owned businesses, those companies can grow and create more jobs for Black people. Rogers also proposes White people make large savings deposits into Black-owned banks. These are the financial institutions that are the backbone of the Black community that provides loans to the Black community for businesses, education, automobiles, and home mortgages.

And finally, he resolutely encourages White people to support government reparations to Black Americans who are descendants of Black men and women, who were enslaved from 1619 to 1865.

During our introspective conversation, Rogers educates our audience on the following:

  • Disrupt the societal norms that have been so pervasive and implement simple changes to close the racial wealth divide.
  • Understand the root causes of racial disparities in America
  • Discover how they can personally contribute to reducing the inequality between Black and White people in the United States today
  • Understand why it is important to redirect their spending to Black-owned institutions to help decrease the racial wealth gap
  • Understand the politics of financial apartheid by sharing real-world examples of why simple things are made unnecessarily difficult because of skin color
  • Why many in the black community are feeling racial fatigue and how to help turn this around

“Steven Rogers is a brilliant and courageous thinker who makes us unsettled in order to get us to be real forces for good!”
Cornel West

“Steven Rogers brings a unique perspective to America’s long-standing challenge over the issues of race. Educated at Williams and Harvard Business School, he has leveraged his education, his intellect, and his ambition to achieve great success in both business and academia. From his professional perches, Rogers offers highly valuable advice to help diminish, if not erase, racial bias in our society. We can and need to do better, and Rogers’s prescriptions for the privileged among us is a solid roadmap to do just that.”
John A. Byrne, former Executive Editor of Businessweek magazine and Editor-in-Chief of Fast Company magazine, currently CEO and Editor-in-Chief of C-Change Media

“This book is a comprehensive accounting of the ongoing effects of racism. Rogers brings his finance and business expertise to explain the legacy of systemic exclusions on the current gaps in wealth. Not only does he cover the facts and the history with meticulous care, but he also proposes solutions for businesses, individuals, and governments focused on tangible remedies. This book is a must-read not just for Rogers’s white colleagues, but for anyone interested in being a part of the solution.”
Mehrsa Baradaran, author of The Color of Money and Professor of Law at UC Irvine School of Law

“Steven S. Rogers established the act without hesitation in plain language. Not surprisingly, I and many of our marginalized advocates will take action, calling for the well-deserved reparations to be made. It is time for our ancestors to receive justice for all the financial burdens that systemic racism in America has created. I am literally in contact with Congressman Ritchie Torres as my thumbs firmly press on the smartphone glass.” —Vaughn Lowery, President of 360 MAGAZINE, an NGLCC certified LGBT business enterprise.

KAVITA CHANNE – BALENCIAGA SCANDAL

Listen to Kavita chat with Vaughn on 360 MAG podcast – available on all major platforms.

Kavita Channe is a former Fox Sports broadcaster, fashion designer, and now an award-winning winemaker. A mother of two, she denounces the flagrant lack of respect and socialization of our children. She discussed at length the protection of our adolescents and their protection against predatory entities.

Sometimes, she exudes a sense of playful banter, but don’t be deceived – she is appalled. As an emerging entrepreneur, well-known media maven, and highly esteemed fashionista, she extends a valid opinion on holding organizations to account. Lately, Balenciaga launched a scandalous campaign with toddlers coupled with sadistic stuffed animals in bandages.

Our own Vaughn Lowery makes a commitment with Kavita to help dissect one of the vile editorials of our generation. Hear the two of them discuss in a charismatic way some of the most interesting points that have seldom been raised about this once prosperous fashion house. With broken ties with Ye, the two parents try to take lightly a coup de press that went terribly wrong.
