Stefflon Don Releases New Record

“Move is inspired by the old me, the Steff that the world was first introduced to,” says Stefflon Don. “I felt like it was needed to come back with something hype, feisty and rooted.”

Stefflon Don rose to widespread fame as her debut single Hurtin Me (featuring French Montana) earned a colossal 2.3 billion streams and 444 million views. To date, Stefflon Don can boast 5.78 Billion streams. Her list of collaborators includes Future, Lil Kim, Skepta, Mariah Carey, Sean Paul, Skepta and Charli XCX.

With musical influences pulled from the Caribbean and Africa, the Jamaican-born artists ascent has been stroboscopic since being recognized by BBC’s Sound of 2017. Since then, the multi-lingual, multi-cultural Stefflon Don was the first British female rapper ever to be featured in Rap Caviar and the XXL Freshman cover, won Best Female at the MOBO Awards and also Best New Artist at the NME Awards (where she appeared on the final cover of the print edition).

Ebenezer New Song

Today, British musician Ebenezer drops new song “3am in LA” featuring Stefflon Don and the lyric video

London singer-songwriter, producer, and mix engineer Ebenezer has just dropped the song “3am in LA” featuring Stefflon Don as well as a lyric video. The song is a remix of “3am in London” from his sophomore EP, Bad Romantic II.

With a treasure trove of credits ranging from Mahalia, Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, Ashnikko, and K-Pop favorites SuperM, U.K. upstart Ebenezer struck gold early on in his career as a prolific songwriter and producer. His penchant for sticky hooks slithered its way to his debut EP, 2017’s Bad Romantic, where highlights were abundant, including the summery intro “South of France” and the swaggering anthem “Stats.”

His magnetic confidence and indomitable work ethic have allowed him to zoom up music’s hierarchy, especially after his smoldering 2018 effort “53 Sundays ” and his 2020 EP Bad Romantic II. For the EP, Ebenezer flexes his musical muscles on the six-track project which he wrote, produced, and mixed all by himself. Whether he’s singing as the petty lothario on “3am in London” or savoring his muse’s imperfections on “Flaws and All,” Ebenezer serenades his way through the hearts and ears of his fans.

Ebenezer Returns

Today marks the release of Ebenezer’s new track “53 Sundays”. Listen HERE. The song is a statement in itself, showcasing not only Ebenezer’s musical talent but also his lyrical, storytelling abilities. He’s not afraid of sharing his views and reflecting on the reality of the world he grew up in.Ebenezer’s distinctive sound shines through the track – despite hailing from London it’s uniquely universal, taking listeners on a poignant journey.

Sometimes we must acknowledge that in order to do something good we might have to do something bad. Religion wasn’t going to put food on the table and money in the pockets of those I cared about, so I had to get it by an ‘any means necessary’ attitude. So excuse me if I miss the corruption that goes on in the churches – I’ve got some hustling to do,” says Ebenezer.

“53 Sundays” follows Ebenezer’s recent single “When I Call Em” featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. Listen HERE. Ebenezer has been steadily making a name for himself, working with artists such as ADP, B Young, Stefflon Don, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign andCraig David. In 2017, he ushered in new fans through a string of releases: F**K IT”,Survival” and “Cliché”. He followed up in February 2018 with the release of his debut EP Bad Romantic. The record put Ebenezeragainst himself, uncovering both his romantic and savage” tendencies and proving that his creative artistry is as intense as his delivery. Ebenezer’s forthcoming project is due out this summer.
