The Bachelorette X Randi Rahm

Bachelor Tuesday is here and the fashion is just as good as the drama. Randi Rahm has handmade a beautiful tone-on-tone, olivine, khaki dress that was handpicked by Tayshia Adams. Adams is the New Babe of The Bachelorette!

This sensual, body-bearing dress with criss-cross satin straps in a halter neckline, which holds the barely-there cut-out bodice, showcases the sexiness that is the show. The stunning fabric hangs off of Adams in all the right ways.

The gown was hand-beaded in metallic beads and hand sewed from two cut khaki creating a stunning gown. The piece was envisioned inside the fashionable walls of Randi Rahm’s Manhattan Atelier. The dress took over 280 man-hours to make inside the Atelier.

The color of the dress complimented Tayshia’s complexion so perfectly and truly lets her shine. Her figure is beautifully extenuated in all the right places like the dress was made for her. The Raquel style is one of Randi’s most signature couture designs which makes it that much more exciting to see such an iconic look on the silver screen for such an iconic debut.

Randi Rahm is here to fashionably guide viewers through Tayshia Adam’s takeover of The Bachelorette as she struts her stuff in Randi Rahm Couture! For the next eight weeks, Randi Rahm’s designs will be seen on the silver screen. From red-carpet to ready-to-wear looks, this season of The Bachelorette is as dramatic in style as it is in surprises. Rahm’s designs have been seen on each premiere and finale of The Bachelorette for the past five years.

Rahm is an internationally lauded fine haute couture artist, whose signature timeless gowns and suits have been gracing red carpets, magazine covers, and stages for almost three decades.

Rahm has been dressing Hollywood icons, Broadway leads, elegant brides, and power women and men across the globe. She has worked with celebrities such as Beyoncé, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Billy Porter, Eva Longoria, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, and many more.

Big Brother’s 22 Finale

By Hannah DiPilato

Wednesday night, the 22nd season of the reality show Big Brother on CBS came to an end. Cody Calafiore took home the grand prize of $500,000 after an unanimous vote.

The season premiered August 5th, a much later start than previous years due to the pandemic, which led to a later finale.

Calafiore, Enzo Palumbo and Nicole Franzel were the final three players in the house. Franzel won the first round of the three-part Head of Household competition. Calafiore beat Palumbo by a landslide in part two. Calafiore finished the competition in 4 minutes and 49 seconds while it took Palumbo 37 minutes and 38 seconds.

Palumbo, discouraged about his time, gave a very emotional speech that left Calafiore and Franzel in tears. He expressed feeling like a failure while explaining the other two players should choose each other for the final two. After he stormed off in frustration, Calafiore and Franzel had to move on to part three of the competition.

Calafiore took the win of the final HOH competition and had to choose who to have sit next to him for the final vote. He chose to eliminate Franzel and take Palumbo to the final two. Franzel was in shock at the fact she was voted out.

“You know, I was so hurt and it’s so crazy to say because him and I got so close this season and he was like a brother to me. It just hurts,” said Franzel according to Entertainment Weekly

Franzel then joined the jury, which consists of players that were voted out throughout the season and choose the final winner between the final two. The jury speculated in the last few episodes who they thought played the best game, but also pointed out flaws in the games of everyone in the final three.

Both Calafiore and Palumbo had a chance to plead their case to the jury. Each jury member was able to ask one of the final two players one question to help them choose a winner. Both players advocated for themselves well, but with Cody playing such a strong mental and physical game, he was victorious.

When Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves started revealing the votes that were all in favor of Calafiore, we quickly learned he was going to win. With a vote of nine to zero, Calafiore took the crown with all jury members in agreement that he played the best game.

Palumbo gave his co-star and friend a hug congratulating him and didn’t look too distraught about the loss. He said he would be using his second-place prize of $50,000 strictly on his two children.

Calafiore exited the house and was met with confetti and his former housemates to congratulate him. His family was also present virtually, beaming with pride for Calafiore. He expressed that he did not know what he would do with the grand prize money.

It was also revealed on finale night that player Da’Vonne Rogers won America’s vote for favorite houseguest and was rewarded with a prize of $25,000. In an interview with Rogers after the show, she revealed that if Calafiore would have taken Franzel to sit next to him in the finale instead of Palumbo, he would’ve had less of a chance to win.

“If it were Nicole and Cody, Cody would have won, but it wouldn’t have been a unanimous vote,” said Rogers. She said that players Memphis, Christmas, Kevin and David would have voted for Franzel over Calafiore.

Although the results of the finale didn’t come as a huge surprise to most fans, Calafiore played an excellent game until the end. He made all the right plays to guarantee his prize of $500,000.

Zhamira Zambrano Releases “De locos” with Video

Talented, stunning Venezuelan singer and songwriter Zhamira Zambrano, releases the music video for her new single “De locos”, which follows a string of hits born from her alliance with the record label Dímelo Vi.

Zhamira Zambrano started her artistic path in 2016, when she became one of the finalists of the reality TV show La Banda, although she was already known as a promising content creator on YouTube.

After her evolution from a YouTube artist to an interpreter of the urban genre thanks to the signing of her musical contract with record label Dímelo Vi, Zhamira has managed to captivate her audience with three promotional singles: “Me alejo de ti”, “Si es por mi” and “Se va”, whose music videos have more than 10 million views on YouTube.

Today, the talented singer-songwriter releases “De locos”, a song she co-authored with Maya and Vicente Saavedra and was produced by Electrik, under the wings of the record label Dímelo Vi.

“De locos” premiered together with its official video clip, which was recorded in the city of Miami, Florida, under the direction of Daniel Eguren and produced by Pandora Films.

Recently, Zhamira Zambrano joined the historic Premios Juventud 2020 gala, in which there was no public presence, and all the artists respected the rules of social distancing and the use of face masks. For her part, Zhamira was in charge of presenting one of the awards of the night together with the Puerto Rican interpreter VF7.

KUWTK Comes to an End

With a shocking post on instagram, Kim Kardashian West announced the long-running reality series following her and her family is coming to an end after 14 years on air. “It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye,” she wrote. The show will end with its 20th season, scheduled to air early next year.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians, featuring Kim and her sisters, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie alongside their brother, Rob, and their mother, Kris Jenner, became a staple of pop culture in the early 21st century and helped shape the family’s careers and lives. It is a show that propelled the popularity of reality TV and what consumers expected of it, but the suspension of the show comes as no surprise. Since the beginning of their careers as reality TV stars, the family has gained millions of social media followers and they have become a household name. Besides show ratings beginning to drop, the family simply no longer needs the promotion anymore.

A spokesperson for E! Network said in a statement, “We thank the entire extended family and our production partners, Bunim Murray and Ryan Seacrest Productions, for embarking on this global phenomenon together.”

This does not mean the end of the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty. In fact, it is highly possible that they may try to push for a deal with online streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu. By not being restricted by cable TV limitations and advertising structures, the family’s franchise could expand in countless directions including a more genuine representation of them as people. There is tremendous opportunity for them in the digital world. It is no lie that reality TV is often scripted and made to be a parody of sorts, so breaking away from that formula could expand the family’s fanbase and show that they have matured past that.

With a networth of $30 million, Kendall Jenner has become the world’s highest paid model doing runways for Versace, Burberry, Tom Ford, and countless other luxury brands. After seven years, she has become one of the most influential figures in the fashion industry. Her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, gained her success after curating Kylie Cosmetics in 2015. Since then, she has also branched out into skincare and was granted the controversial title of ‘youngest self-made billionaire’ by Forbes in 2019. Their older sister, Khloe, ventured into the clothing industry with her own company called Good American which claims to have ‘invented a new women’s size in jeans’ and runs on a platform of inclusivity.

Kim, the one responsible for gaining media attention and bringing her family into the spotlight, has also ventured into the cosmetics business with her cosmetics and fragrance company, KKW Beauty which generated around $100 million of sales in 2019. Along with this, she has turned her shapewear line, Skims, into a success after a rocky start and has announced a social justice podcast on Spotify.

These are few of many of the family’s accomplishments and despite the countless controversies surrounding them, it is no lie that they helped to shape pop culture into what it is today and will continue to do so.

Real Housewives of Potomac Returns

The Real Housewives of Potomac” Season 5 premieres on Sunday, August 2, at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.

Returning this season: Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Monique Samuels, and Candiace Dillard Bassett.

New housewife Wendy Osefo joins this season with brains and sass, and she’s making sure the ladies put some respect on her name. View the season trailer HERE.

Coming up this season

Love is in the air as Gizelle Bryant rekindles a relationship with her ex-husband, Pastor Jamal Bryant, but her daughters are struggling to accept their new normal, making things challenging for the couple.

Although Karen Huger and Ray are back in Potomac with a beautiful new home, their 23-year “institution” may be in question when Karen discovers that Ray’s feelings for her might not be the same as they used to be.

Ashley Darby and Michael are in heavenly bliss with their new baby, Dean. But just when their relationship gets back on track, their newfound happiness is threatened by news of Michael’s wild night on the town.

Robyn Dixon and Juan have been through hell and back, and after living under one roof with their two sons for six years, Robyn is ready to make things official. Now all she needs is for Juan to make his move or will she make hers first?

Juggling a house with three kids and a new feathered friend is taking its toll on Monique Samuels. The last thing she needs is drama with Candiace, but when a night with the girls gets out of hand, their friendship takes a turn that impacts all the women.

Candiace Dillard Bassett and Chris celebrate their first year of marriage and contemplate adding a baby to the equation. Before Candiace can focus on family matters, though, she must deal with her unresolved issues with Ashley and mounting conflicts with Monique.

Nigerian-American Dr. Wendy Osefo, the newest housewife, is a triple threat as a professor, political analyst, and entrepreneur. She’s been married for nine years and is the mother of three children, including a newborn daughter. Never one to be underestimated, she is full of sass and ready to make her mark in Potomac.

Meet the new housewife: Wendy Osefo

Dr. Wendy Osefo is the essence of a Renaissance woman— professor, political analyst, and entrepreneur. As a Maryland native, Nigerian-born Wendy joins the ladies of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” this season. With her strong personality, she knows how to hold her own and speak her mind when it comes to standing up to the other ladies.

Wendy’s life and upbringing embody the ultimate immigrant journey. Growing up with a single immigrant mother who put herself through college, Wendy learned first-hand the value of hard work and never thought of excuses or failure as options. Now an award-winning Nigerian-American television personality and progressive political analyst, she is on a quest to fulfill her insatiable appetite to succeed and obtain the American dream. Wendy received a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University, a Master of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science from Rutgers University, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Rutgers University, where she made history by becoming the first black woman to earn a Ph.D. in Public Affairs/Community Development.

Wendy is also a philanthropist who has sought to give back by supporting the next generation of leaders as the founder and CEO of the 1954 Equity Project, LLC, which provides tools, mentorship, and resources to underrepresented minorities to help them thrive in higher education. Wendy is currently a professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education specializing in urban education and politics. Prior to joining the faculty at The Johns Hopkins University, Wendy served as the Director of Family and Community Engagement for President Barack Obama’s anti-poverty initiative, DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative. When she is not busy traveling to exotic destinations or on date nights with her hubby, Wendy loves to cook for her family. Wendy also has a penchant for interior design and hopes to start her own home essentials line in the future.

Wendy has been married for nine years. She and her Nigerian husband, attorney Edward Osefo met as teenagers, were friends for several years before making it official after graduating college, and have been together ever since. They have three beautiful children together, seven-year-old son Karter, five-year-old son Kruz, and the newest addition to the family, newborn daughter Kamrynn.

“The Real Housewives of Potomac” is produced by Truly Original with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Lorraine Haughton-Lawson, Lauren Volonakis, and Kemar Bassaragh serving as Executive Producers. Eric Fuller and Nora Devin serve as Co-Executive Producers. Andy Cohen also serves as an Executive Producer.
