Over the course of the past few years, we’ve seen the term “influencer” unfold into a new category of jobs within the market. Influencers are essentially tastemakers of a certain genre that work prominently via digital platforms to shape a certain trend or lifestyle. We’ve seen influencers on social media, but it also stems further to where creators first started on YouTube and bloggers online.
We’ve even see influencers like ChadGoesDeep fight for influencer rights within the LA community, and reinforcing the fact that it’s a leading industry that hasn’t been been looked at properly in today’s society. Traackr, an influencer management platform, claims that seventy-two percent of notable brands dedicate a strong portion of their marketing spends to influencers.
With the rise of apps like TikTok (which claim they aren’t going anywhere in the US), the most downloaded app on the App Store, teens seem to become millionaires through quick viral moments that in return start a brand for themselves. Now we see influencers in the realms of food, auto, tech, music, fashion, travel and everything in-between. Cultivating your passion through social media can open more doors than you’d think.
Figuring out the algorithm has been a mystery to all. Here are some key tips to remember. Posts tend to do better in the morning/afternoon. Make sure your photos and videos are high res and collect post of your engagement on Instagram during the first to ensure it’s position towards the top of your fans’ feeds. Most importantly in today’s society, influencers need to curate original contest that is authentic. TikTok posts spark vitality with relatable or authentic content that distinguishes itself from all other platforms. It’s suggested to start posting on Triller as well.

Journalism is an exciting, fast-paced, and interesting career where no two days are the same. Journalists can work for newspapers, TV stations, websites, magazines and radio stations. Most of the time, the best way to get into a career as a journalist is to earn a relevant degree, although you might be able to get into the field through an apprenticeship. If you’ve decided that a career in journalism is a good fit for you, here’s the experience and qualifications you’ll need to beat the competition.
There are two common routes into journalism, which include earning an undergraduate journalism degree, or taking an undergraduate degree in a different subject, followed by a master’s degree in journalism. You can search journalism courses at University Compare; a website where you can look at all the different degree options available, where to study them, and the differences between them. When you choose where to do your degree from this list, make sure that you opt for a course that is NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists) accredited if you want to eventually work for a news organisation based in the UK. You can also choose a degree with an area of specialisation, such as newspaper journalism, multimedia journalism, or broadcast journalism.
While studying for your degree in journalism, using your spare time to start a blog can be a great way to get relevant experience in your career and make valuable connections that will help you when looking for work in the future. A strong blog and a large Twitter following will help you get noticed by potential employers who are looking for new hires that have a solid understanding of online journalism. And, many postgraduate degree courses will expect applicants to have blogging experience and an active Twitter account with a large following, so this will be extremely helpful if you want to go on to get a master’s in journalism in the future.
Choosing the Right University:
Most universities in the UK will offer a course in journalism, but not all of them are created equal. Along with making sure that you are only applying to NCTJ accredited courses, you might want to consider other accreditations, such as the BJTC (Broadcast Journalism Training Council) if you are considering a career in radio journalism. You should also look at the facilities, reputation, teaching staff, course content, and where journalism graduates from a particular university go on to study further or work. Bear in mind that journalism graduates who have a wide range of skills tend to have more options in the job market, so it’s worth considering a course that teaches extra skills such as data journalism, financial reporting, or video production.
Getting Work Experience:
While there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get valuable work experience as you study, the experience that matters the most is that you get after graduating. Typically, your first job will be working as a junior reporter, covering any stories that are allocated to you. Generally, these jobs are long-term contracts rather than short-term, which is great if you’re looking for a position with plenty of security, which isn’t always the case when working in the media. However, starting salaries are low, so you might want to consider freelancing for more than one news organisation, something that will become more accessible to you as you build up your experience and contacts.
Working as a journalist is a very exciting career choice. Finding the right university and course to study, however, is just the beginning; start focusing on building your network and experience as early as possible.
As of late, 360 MAGAZINE had an opportunity to glide through the five Burroughs of NYC in an all-terrain super-luxury SUV during the Holiday Season.
Unassuming and illustrious are the best words to describe the 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV. Worth its weight in gold! Approximately priced around $394,275, it’s the most expensive off-roader in it’s class and by far the most luxurious in the world.
Handcrafted from the soil up, every nook and cranny has the Rolls-Royce stamp of approval. The overall shell of the vehicle is sleek and seamless. Every pillar and appointment makes perfect sense. Outside, the frontfasia is bodacious with integrated laser headlights and a pronounced grill. The Spirit of Ecstasy (SoE) sits on the hood and is retracts at a moment’s notice. 22″ inch part polished wheels and tires have a weighted emblem in the middle so as the car rolls (no wordplay intended) it stays center so there’s no mistaking who fabricated this monster. Swooping lines lead towards the back wisease. At first glance, it’s profile is somewhat reminiscent of an Range Rover Autobiography. On the sides, are LED parking lights. Boxy, beautiful yet masculine. At the rear, are gem-like light fixtures with turning signals. The boot has a clamshell tailgate which opens up and out with dual doors.
Push the button on the door knob to enter. Right before you enter the cabin, you are greeted by illunlminated ‘Cullinan’ treadplates alongside of lambswool floor mats. Even if the interior lights aren’t on, the Charles Blue interior leather seats are just as magnetic as Angelina Jolie’s electric eyes. One will feel like they’re swimming in Bali at Geger Beach wrapped by a navy blue beach towel in leather. Equally drowned by a sea of blue, the moonroof unveils the sky like a drophead, making the cabin feel more open and airy. Literally two to three people can promote their entire bodies out of the dual panel sunroof. It’s definitely one of the largest in its segment hands-down. Per usual, all of the appointments are wrapped in leather and stainless steel as easily as every headrest is embossed by SoE. Classic dials throughout and an analog clock sits on the dashboard with the same kind of realness as Big Ben in London.
Continue along to the back seats, the same luxurious integrity is apparent with large screens with trays which go flush. Instead of a back panel window in the trunk space, it’s laid right on side of back passengers. All of the rear windows possess dark tempered glass fit for the likes of the Queen herself, Beyoncé. As we dropped a passenger off at the Hard Rock Hotel in Time Square, tons of bystanders huddled around to take pictures.
Once again, the BMW’s iDrive system is dominant in the infotainment unit. The knob toggles through various screens, but this season they have a concierge which makes it a tad easier to locate and designate a destination – similar in type to Lexus Enform. Eight different settings for driver/passenger massages – excellent way for a driver to refresh during a long road trip.
During these colder months, the steering, arm rests and seats are heated. And, if you haven’t received a formal crash course on your Cullinan, you can refer to the animated digital owner’s manual which can easily search many of its amenities. The custom Rolls-Royce signature audio system has tweeters, floor subwoofers and enough watts to make you thump like you’re at a rock concert.
With more bells than whistles, you won’t leave a lane or come close to a dinging anything on this vehicle. The over the head 360 panoramic backup cam gives you a spaceage Jetson POV of what’s around the vehicle at all times. Night vision with heat detectors can help you navigate through woodsy areas without hitting a deer. In the urban center, we were alerted while behind a school bus – cameras came about when pedestrians accosted the vehicle’s walk around radius. Moreover, with a reinforced steel skeleton and airbags virtually for every piece of your body, you’re pretty safe in this vehicle.
Weighing in at around 5,863 lbs, this V12 turbo is more than powerful. With 570 HP and 627 pound-ft of torque, this SUV plows. Of course, the AWD allows you to claw corners and steering provides you with turning capabilities as if you’re in a sportscar. We pounded the asphalt and it felt like we could conquer 0-60 mph in less than 4.9 minutes while we entered the Garden State Parkway. There’s a reason why RR makes airplane engines because we felt like we were flying! Mentioning mpg makes no sense if you’re purchasing an automotive beast like this one – but here you go – 12 city / 20 highway.
If you’re in the market to floss and experience what many will never – this car should make it onto your bucket list. Out of all the Rolls-Royce tribe, this is the most practical as you can apply it for everyday use as well as a red carpet experience.

We’re kiiping busy, and hope you have been too. This year is already flying by and we’ve got so much to share!
#PressforProgress & #feff
Kiip is dedicated to supporting and growing an equal and diverse workforce and we know that means having an open and honest conversation about how we can do better. Take a look at what our leaders here at Kiip have to say about progress in 2018.
&#feff; Kiip Gets Into the Data & Audiences Business
We’ve been hard at work. Since we launched our Moments Table, many brands have asked if they can use our data more broadly. We finally launched our audiences into (initially) LiveRamp Data Store and now I am happy to report that you can buy moments audiences decoupled with our media.
On top of this, we rounded out our data suite with our Surveys product. Too often as marketers we are faced with limited 3rd party data options (largely cookie based or too probabilistic). We decided to use our mobile-first positioning and engagement unit in our ads to create a survey product where the marketer can simply ask the consumer (millions of them). With these survey responses we can create seed audiences activated on Kiip (or elsewhere as aforementioned) or simply qualify the success of your campaign. The possibilities are endless.
To help further hammer home the point of why we went into the data business, we put together some helpful content. An interesting tidbit: the VP of Netflix started quite a stir in 2016 when he suggested that demographic data was a thing of the past, or rather headed to the trash. I believe that marketing is heading from a segment-based approach to a signal-based approach. Here’s a post from one of our brilliant strategist Lauren, on how best to ensure that your audience data is used effectively and sourced transparently.
Okay so now you’ve read all about how to avoid the pitfalls (in the post linked above), are you ready to talk strategy and leave generic data in the past? Schedule a complimentary session today and learn more about how our audience targeting stands out from the crowd.
The Summer Forecast
Every month we release mobile app behavior trends called M.I.C. drops. These help our media buying customers to get ahead of trends and know how to buy more effectively based on what people are going to be spending time doing. The March M.I.C. drop stats are in and it’s sunny with a chance of 2 in 3 teens working this summer. This summer polls 55% of teens working and earning over $1K. We’ve collected the data, now you can make accurate predictions on what they’ll be spending that money on and when. See for yourself how best to reach a teen audience this summer!
Case Study Center
We’ve been working with the app store’s most popular free fitness app for a while now: Sweatcoin. Here’s our case study with how we worked with them to monetize and engage their most active users.
Here’s another case study about a lifestyle app that’s all about beauty and selfies. You wouldn’t believe how many people love this app.
Fashion and Social media influencer Urszula Makowska is a fashionable New Yorker with over 116k followers on Instagram. She was invited to almost every event of the New York Fashion Week. Urszula is influencing others with her fashion style and at this occasion, she had an interview that revealed what the fashion trends are of 2018, as seen at the NYFW.
As a fashion blogger, what were you looking forward to seeing in New York Fashion week?
The most exciting time of the year for bloggers is always fashion week. This time of the year is the busiest for us. We plan our outfits and the events we will attend in advance. We work hard to coordinate everything to perfection including travel and hotel stays.
Personally, I love fashion week. For me, it is extremely exciting. I am a fashion addict and I love to attend shows and presentations to view the upcoming trends for the next seasons. I love to see what designers have created for the upcoming seasons. It is all a work of art and a way to express yourself. Then I love to share the upcoming trends with my followers and readers. During this F/W 2018 New York Fashion Week, I was super excited to attend my shows since I officially received over 40 invitations, and this included some of the big designers from Badgley Mischka to BCBG Maxazria. I was extremely proud of myself to have the ability to attend my shows and presentations. It has shown me how far I came into my career as a blogger. I was also looking forward to not only attending the shows and events, but also seeing friends who were flying into New York City, networking, meeting other bloggers, and working together with photographers to take photos of my looks.
Why is it important for a fashion blogger to attend Fashion Week?
Fashion week is extremely important for any fashion blogger and fashion influencer. Now-in-days, we bloggers and influencers hold the power to influencing and generating sales. We dominate the market and this directly means that we always have to be on top of the upcoming trends. Followers and readers look up to us as having the knowledge of our niche and market. They know us as the experts for getting style inspiration or simply buying what we are wearing or using. Fashion week allows us to keep up with the upcoming trends. We are able to see what products will be hot for the next season and how they can be styled. We are able to see the new trends before anyone else and we are able to introduce these new innovations to our followers and readers.
Aside from that, attending fashion week is also important to us in terms of networking. By attending these events, we are meeting people constantly. These people may be bloggers, editors, or photographers. We have the ability to form a relationship and partner together in the future. I know I personally have met a lot of people this season and I created strong friendships with them. We are always working together and supporting one another. At the end of the day, this only benefits you.
What was your best event so far from NYFW and why?
The best event from NYFW for me was going backstage with Aveda for Tibi. I personally love Tibi and have always wanted to attend one of their shows. Tibi’s fashion shows are extremely popular. A lot of bloggers always want to attend Tibi’s show. Luckily, I was able to go backstage with Aveda since I have a strong relationship with Aveda as one of their influencers. I was able to see the full on hair trends, hair tips, hair inspirations, makeup trends, makeup inspirations, and looks beforehand. I was extremely happy to see everything beforehand, but to learn a lot myself. I was happy to network and see my Aveda family.
Which look was your favorite look that you wore to NYFW?
One of my favorite looks for the shows was the classic Chanel themed look I went for from the S/S 2018 show. I bought a cute classic Zara dress and jacket that looked similar to the Chanel vibes from their S/S 2018 show. I layered a lilac turtleneck under the dress and paired it off with Kanye West Tubular shoes.
Which fashion trends are going to be popular this year according to NYFW?
There are a lot of upcoming trends that I saw during the F/W 2018/2019 shows that I am looking forward to.
Currently plaid is in, but don’t worry, it is not leaving anywhere anytime soon. For the upcoming seasons, we will see plaid like never before. It will be bolder than ever. We will be making statements in plaid. Plaid in saturated hues such as hot pink will be hotter than ever. During NYFW plenty of designers showcased plaid suits in hot pink and they were incredible.
Regarding outerwear, puffers, fur, and trench coats will be in trend. They will be more dramatic than ever. They will catch anyone’s eyes. We saw puffers on the runway in bright hues and extremely oversized. That is how we will see them in the fall and winter. Fur jackets were seen in bright colors from yellow to red. Trench coats were seen in leopard prints everywhere during NYFW.
One new trend that was introduced the new crop top silhouette. This top is a part bathing suit, part sports bra, and part strapless bra with underwire. It was seen a lot on the runway and will be extremely popular.
In terms of color trends, red and hot pink will be the hottest colors of the season. We saw bright pink everywhere on the runway from tops to shoes. We also saw red dominate from head to toe. The most exciting part is that the combination of pink and red will be extremely popular. Most designers used a combination of both of their pieces.
What is your personal favorite trend from NYFW?
One of my personal favorite trends will be tea length floral dresses. During the shows, these dresses were paired with cute booties. I am a big fan of booties and floral prints. I find this trend to be extremely chic, but casual. It is perfect for any person to easily put together for any occasion.
Urszula Makowska is a growing social media influencer, full-time fashion blogger, and actress born and raised in the heart of New York City. Growing up in Brooklyn, she attended dance class for five years and completed her certificate in acting. As an actress, she is best known for my role on MTV’s show CatfishSeason 5B Episode 1: Lucas & Many. Since the episode aired, MTV filmed a follow up with Urszula Makowska in February of 2017, adding the footage to the original episode.
Urszulala formerly launched as Fash Fab in 2012 by Urszula in the early development of her fashion career. Strictly, blogging about fashion at the time, she shared her daily fashion inspirations, outfits, and tips with viewers with the hope of inspiring them with her taste. Through her blog, she has affiliated and partnered with major brands such as Aveda, NYLON, Amika, Christian Dior, LA MER, I SAW IT FIRST, Cartier, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Daniel Wellington, and many other brands.
What was once known as Fash Fab, soon became re-branded to Urszulala. The blog took a step into the darker side of fashion. The darker and edgier look has grown the blog’s popularity. The bold eyebrows and cat eyes are her signature look. Furthermore, the blog has expanded into beauty, lifestyle, and travel that has inspired others.
The reality is that I conquered every single thing by hard work. There is no better feeling than being recognized, seen, and heard. It means that my message is getting out there louder and louder. Fashion to me is a way to wrap your soul. I love that women and men can look at me to be inspired by who I am, inside and out. I believe this is what makes you a fashion icon.
When you were younger, was there a pivitol moment where you knew fashion would be your life calling?
When I was 16 and was told that I had the body of a model I remember having butterflies in my stomach. I looked at myself in the mirror and said: “One day you will be a top model”. That was my childhood dream. A pure dream that simply means to strive to be the best of the best. Being recognized today as such gives me the strength to keep on working. The beautiful part is that I get inspired everyday by my mentor, Daisaku Ikeda, knowing for a fact that there is no limit to going beyond yourself. I am looking forward to see myself in 5 years. The “no” are there, many times they are stronger than the yes. When they hit me however I know I need to surpass them.
Lastly, who or what influences your current style now? And who are your current favorite brands?
Instagram is my beyond imagination source of inspiration. We dictate trends. Things that we wore months before make it onto the catwalks the following season. This happens all the time with many amazing influencers. Brands are watching us now to pick up inspiration: this is the concrete signal that social media has changed an industry. I am an Italian soul and body, I adore Gucci and Fendi. I take joy in discovering new international brands and selecting the best out of them such as Malika Rajani, Femme Sans Peur, Michelle Nicole. A big shout out to stylist Ninorta Malke for making me discover Dreams On Air, a New York City showroom with amazing innovative labels. As a fashion Influencer discovering the new, seeing their vision, mission, and love gives me so much motivation. Keep on being YOU.

Wong garnered national news coverage in March 2011, when he uploaded his music video, “Ching Chong: Asians in the Library Song” to YouTube. He created the video as a response to a UCLA student’s vlog rant against Asian students using mobile phones in the UCLA library, one which MSNBC qualified as “offensive.” NPR suggested that Wong’s video response was one that “effectively turned the tables on the original rant,” offering an alternative method of defense against cyberbullying. Wong later said in an MSNBC interview that while he was initially frustrated by the video rant, he realized that humor offered a better response, as he hoped to “put a positive spin on all of it.” The video has seen a resurgence due to the current political climate. Wong is very passionate about social issues and politics and is something that drives him to create every day. He aims to create justice for all and especially for representation in Hollywood as an Asian American.
Prior to releasing the video, Wong began spearheading the YouTube world, collaborating with other largescale YouTubers, including the very successful Joey Graceffa. This period proved to be invaluable. At the end of 2010, the web series Feast of Fiction was born, a cooking show dedicated to making food from movies, TV shows, cartoons, video games, and other fictional properties. The show kicked off strongly with the first video passing the 100,000-subscriber mark almost immediately. Due to it’s success, media company Tastemade partnered with the successful web series which allowed for guests like Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, Anthony Padilla from Smosh, and Rosanna Pansino from Nerdy Nummies.
In 2016 Wong was asked to host the pilot for a gaming show, Polaris Primetime, on Disney XD. Disney XD is creating a new channel block, similar to Adult Swim or Teen Nick, called Disney XP that will air this show and others like it exclusively daily from 9PM to 3AM. Polaris Primetime is a gaming variety show with guests from all across the YouTube and TV world. Special guests that have already been on the show include Nolan Gould (Modern Family) and Marcus Scribner (Blackish).
