the Great Destroyer Tour via Elektra for use by 360 Magazine

Coheed and Cambria – The Great Destroyer Tour

Coheed and Cambria have announced details of “The Great Destroyer Tour,” a U.S. headline run which will feature support from special guests Sheer Mag. The coast-to-coast trek is set to get underway on February 16th at the legendary Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown, CA and will continue through mid-March giving audiences an opportunity to see the band live in intimate clubs across the U.S. Pre-sales for tickets to “The Great Destroyer Tour” will begin tomorrow, December 15th at 10:00AM local time with general on sale starting Friday, December 17th at 10:00AM local time. For tickets and more information on the “The Great Destroyer Tour,” click HERE.

The upcoming winter dates will see Coheed and Cambria performing their 2021 singles “Rise, Naianasha (Cut The Cord)” and “Shoulders,” the latter of which is currently Top 10 at Active Rock Radio, marking the group’s career highest radio chart position to date. “A total banger, as explosive and catchy as anything they’ve ever released,” declared REVOLVER who placed “Shoulders” in their weekly Best New Songs Right Now round-up. “Coheed and Cambria are back, and they’re heavy as ever,” asserted Billboard, with Guitar World attesting “Coheed and Cambria have come out swinging.” Brooklyn Vegan observed, “It finds the band embracing their love of classic heavy metal riffage, before exploding into the kind of soaring chorus that Coheed have been churning out since day one, they sound pretty damn inspired.”

Furthermore, Coheed and Cambria vocalist/guitarist Claudio Sanchez sat down with GRAMMY.com earlier this year for an in-depth interview discussing details of the band’s imminent new album while also examining Vaxis, an emerging central figure in the sci-fi universe of “The Amory Wars”, previewing his origin story and expanding the mythos.

About Coheed and Cambria

For the last 20 years, Coheed and Cambria have continuously broken the mold of what a rock band can be, forging their own path and building a universe around their music unlike any other. Whether it is in the way their genre-spanning approach to songwriting has allowed them to bridge worlds without being contained to one, or the multifaceted story arc of their albums and comic book series which mark the longest running concept story in music, Coheed and Cambria have consistently shaped new standards, never conformed. Comprised of Claudio Sanchez (Vocals/Guitar), Travis Stever (Guitar), Josh Eppard (Drums) and Zach Cooper (Bass) the band has gripped listeners and press around the globe with their visionary compositions and conceptual mastery. In 2018, Coheed and Cambria made a stunning debut with their album Vaxis I: The Unheavenly Creatures, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart, #6 current sales and Top 15 on the “Billboard 200” chart.

Oklahoma City-based songwriter/composer/arranger/producer Kitt Wakeley is bringing his Symphony of Sinners and Saints to Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall for a special orchestral rock concert on Mon., Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. This epic performance will spotlight compositions from Wakeley’s latest chart-topping album, Symphony of Sinners and Saints, which debuted at No. 1 on the June 5 Billboard “Classical Albums” and No. 1 on the “Classical Crossover Albums” charts.

For this special NYC performance, Wakeley has assembled a live band featuring the album’s bassist Ryan Miller, drummer Brent Berry, guitarist Jay Gleason, as well as featured electric violinist Irene Fong, featured electric cellist Marta Bagratuni, a string quartet, five-piece brass ensemble, and 10-member choir. Wakeley will lead the band on piano and keyboards. Opening the show is guest pianist, Tania Stavreva.

Tickets for the performance are on sale now HERE

Wakeley said, “Playing Carnegie Hall is a dream come true for so many artists, including myself. I’m excited to share my latest project with live audiences, as we find our way back to normalcy. I’m confident the audience will leave feeling motivated and entertained by the incredible musicians that will accompany me on stage.”

Boasting a cinematic hybrid of orchestral music, rock, and EDM, featuring stunning compositions, heavy guitar riffs, and thundering drums, the album Symphony of Sinners and Saints was released on May 21 by Studio Seven Media. With Wakeley on synths and piano, the album features the talents of guitar legend Joe Satriani on two tracks; celebrated UK ensemble the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO); guitarists Andy Timmons (Danger Danger, Pink, Olivia Newton-John), Paige Harwell, and Daniel Uribe; Grammy-nominated pianist Paul Loomis; the London Voices choir (Paul McCartney, Luciano Pavarotti, the Hunger Games series) and Dallas’ Gospel of Light Choir; plus, the aforementioned Miller and Berry. Symphony of Sinners and Saints was recorded in October 2020 at London’s famed Abbey Road Studios. At those sessions, the RPO was conducted by Cliff Masterson (Little Mix, Kylie Minogue, Il Divo, Oasis). The album was co-produced, engineered, and mixed by three-time Grammy Award-winner Tre Nagella (Lady Gaga, Blake Shelton, Snoop Dogg) at Luminous Sound Studios in Dallas, TX.

In addition to the two chart-topping album positions, Symphony of Sinners and Saints debuted on six more Billboard charts that week, including No. 2 on “Heatseekers,” No. 12 on “Hard Rock Albums,” No. 13 on “Top Current Album Sales,” No. 14 on “Top Album Sales,” No. 47 on “Independent Albums,” and No. 50 on “Top Rock Albums.” Previously, three of the album’s singles, “Forgive Me” featuring Joe Satriani, “Sinners and Saints,” and “Conflicted,” also featuring Satriani, all hit the top position on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Digital Song Sales” chart. In addition, “Forgive Me,” also charted at No. 9 on the “Rock Digital Song Sales” chart and No. 19 on the “Hot Hard Rock Songs Chart.” His second single, “Sinners and Saints,” debuted at No. 4 on the “Rock Digital Song Sales” chart and No. 15 on the “Hot Hard Rock Songs” chart. His first single, “Conflicted” also debuted No. 6 on the “Rock Digital Song Sales” chart, and No. 18 on the “Hot Hard Rock Songs” chart.

NEEDTOBREATHE – SUNSHINE – INTO THE MYSTERY

GRAMMY® Award-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE have released “Sunshine” the fourth track off their forthcoming studio album Into The Mystery. The song is available to stream and download starting today hereInto The Mystery is due for release on July 30 via Elektra Records and is available for pre-order now here. Limited edition merch offerings are available exclusively through NEEDTOBREATHE’s online store here.

Last week NEEDTOBREATHE delivered the television debut performance of Into The Mystery’s current single “I Wanna Remember” alongside seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner Carrie Underwood at the 2021 “CMT Music Awards.” Watch their unforgettable performance here. Crowned as one of the most show-stopping moments of the evening by both US Weekly and Entertainment TonightBillboard shared “Bear Rinehart and Underwood’s vocals intertwining like leather and lace,” and praised, “the love song about wanting to remember an especially romantic moment felt particularly poignant as we head into a summer where new memories will be made after putting dreams on hold for more than a year.”

Into The Mystery was announced last month alongside the release of the album’s lead single and title track. Earlier this month, the band unveiled the album’s opening track “What I’m Here ForInto The Mystery’s early songs have received praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, People, American Songwriter, and more. The album will also feature collaborations with Jon Foreman of Switchfoot and Natalie Hemby of The Highwomen.

This Fall, NEEDTOBREATHE will embark on their massive Into The Mystery Tour with support from Switchfoot and The New Respects. The 38-city trek will visit iconic venues such as Denver, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (fifth consecutive sold out appearance) and Los Angeles, CA’s Greek Theatre, and see the band perform their first-ever headline show at Nashville, TN’s Bridgestone Arena. The Into The Mystery Tour will kick off on September 7 in St. Louis, MO, and wrap on October 30 in Atlanta, GA. Tickets for all dates are available now here.

Just as their critically acclaimed 2020 album Out of Body impacted audiences, NEEDTOBREATHE capitalized on a rush of inspiration and rode the wave of creativity. Without telling a soul, the band decamped to a historic house-turned-recording studio in Columbia, TN to begin working on new music. Over the course of three weeks, they resided under one roof, laughed during meals, explored their surroundings, and recorded together with co-producer and engineer Konrad Snyder and special guests. Out of this de facto creative hub and “extended summer camp,” they handcrafted an album reflective of the moment, yet independent of all expectations, even their own. For as intimate as the story may seem, they filmed every minute of it for an upcoming documentary entitled, Into The Mystery. Watch a teaser for the film here.

The past 12 months represent one of the most prolific periods in the band’s career thus far. They recently unveiled Live from the Woods Vol. 2, a live album recorded during three sold out, socially distanced outdoor concerts at Pelham, TN’s famed The Caverns. The band previewed the album with a performance of “Alive” on CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden. Meanwhile, Out of Body debuted in the top 5 across three Billboard charts, and received critical acclaim from Billboard, Spin, Southern Living, American Songwriter, Taste of Country, and more.

About NEEDTOBREATHE:

Since 1998, NEEDTOBREATHE have quietly emerged as a dynamic force in rock music, topping the charts, selling out historic venues, and generating hundreds of millions of streams to date. The band has gathered one platinum single, four gold singles, and a gold album. Along the way, “Multiplied” notched their first GRAMMY® nomination. Simultaneously, they performed to sold out crowds at arenas and amphitheaters coast to coast. In addition to garnering two nods at the Billboard Music Awards, they’ve attracted acclaim from People, Rolling Stone, Forbes, and many more. In 2020, they sowed the seeds for rebirth with Out of Body. It bowed in the Top 5 of three Billboard charts and reeled in acclaim. Within weeks of its release, the quintet, Bear Rinehart [vocals, guitar], Seth Bolt [bass, vocals], Josh Lovelace [keys, vocals], Randall Harris [drums], and Tyler Burkum [guitar], stole away to an old historic house in Columbia, TN where they lived together, ate together, laughed together, and recorded together for three weeks in the fall of 2020. They returned home with their eighth album and documentary Into The Mystery [Elektra Records]. It’s the kind of record that could only be made by a band who has been through it all and still has enough faith to keep encouraging one another. It’s NEEDTOBREATHE.

Formed in Derby, England, in 2012, The Struts have found themselves massively embraced by some of the greatest icons in rock-and-roll history. Along with opening for Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Guns N’ Roses, the UK-bred four-piece band was handpicked by Mötley Crüe to serve as the supporting act for their last-ever performances. Releasing their debut album Everybody Wants in 2016 and sophomore album YOUNG & DANGEROUS in 2018, they’ve toured incessantly since their formation, including worldwide headline shows and major festivals like Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and Isle of Wight. When COVID-19 brought touring to a halt, The Struts created their third album Strange Days over the course of a charmed and frenzied burst of creativity last spring. After getting tested for COVID-19, the band moved into the L.A. home of producer Jon Levine and, within just ten days, laid down nine original tracks alongside their masterful cover of a KISS B-side.

Spiro Exhibition

Ancient Mysteries Revealed: Groundbreaking Spiro Exhibition to Debut at The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum

The Spiro site contained one of the greatest collections of prehistoric American Indian artifacts ever discovered in the United States.

The Spiro Mounds are one of the United States’ most important ancient Native American sites, as well as an archaeological find unmatched in modern times. Yet, despite creating a sophisticated ancient culture, the Spiro people are nearly forgotten in the pages of history books. How did these incredible works of art and other treasures from all over North America end up hidden for hundreds of years, and why? Opening February 12, 2021 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, “Spiro and the Art of the Mississippian World” will seek to answer these questions and more in the first major presentation on the Spiro Mounds ever undertaken by a museum, representing the first, and possibly last, time these artifacts will be reunited from various collections across the country.

“We are incredibly pleased to announce this unparalleled exhibition, which will give proper honor and representation to the culture and historical impact of the Spiro people,” said Natalie Shirley, The Cowboy president and CEO. “Our staff has worked for years to create a world-class, exciting and collaborative presentation of a people who have been overlooked for too long.”

This exhibition will share the art, history and culture of the Spiro people through approx. 175 objects, as well as an accompanying publication, website, public symposium and panel discussion. It was created in collaboration with representatives from the Caddo and Wichita Nations, the descendants of the Spiroan people, and with contributions by 17 humanities scholars from nearly a dozen universities and museums from across the United States.

The Spiro Mounds were the location of one of the largest and longest episodes of looting at any American archaeological site in history—comparable to that of Mesa Verde in Colorado and, sadly, several others across the country. Both looting and New Deal/Works Progress Administration (WPA) archaeological excavations came together in a near-perfect storm at Spiro. In 1935, the public’s imagination was peaked when the Kansas City Star called the site’s discovery a “King Tut’s Tomb in the Arkansas Valley,” and identified it as the greatest source of Mississippian iconographic material ever found. Embossed copper plates, wooden sculptures, thousands of pearls and beads, large human effigy pipes and engraved shell gorgets and cups are just some of the items found at Spiro. In fact, nearly 90% of all known engraved shell created during the Mississippian period (900 – 1650 AD) was discovered at this one site. This exhibition will include the reunification of a range of items looted and archaeologically excavated at Spiro that have not been together since the early 1930s and 1940s.

“The quality and quantity of material found at Spiro is unprecedented,” said Eric Singleton, Ph.D., Museum Curator of Ethnology. “We are grateful to have the support of the Spiroan descendants, the Caddo Nation and the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, as we prepare this exhibition. Without them, this exhibition would not be possible.”

The Spiroan people, along with other Mississippian groups across the eastern half of North America, created a world equal to that of the Aztec, Maya or Inca, consisting of trade networks and highly developed social, political and religious centers. The exhibition will explore the archaeology and history of Spiro and its relationship to other contemporaneous Indigenous communities in North and Central America, highlighting community development, religious and ceremonial activities, farming and hunting practices and daily life. It will also illustrate how ecological factors, specifically the occurrence of the “Little Ice Age” beginning in 1350 AD and lasting until 1650 AD may have led to the site’s decline and ultimate abandonment. The exhibition also showcases contemporary Indigenous art pieces that explore the ideas of origin and connect the art and artistry of the Spiro people to their modern descendants.

Following the exhibition, the online component and educational materials will be available on the Museum’s website and in our permanent Native American gallery. In addition, the Museum will give both the Caddo and Wichita Nations all interpretative materials to use at their discretion in their respective tribal museums.

The exhibition will debut at National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum February 12 – May 9, 2021, before traveling to the Birmingham Museum of Art (October 5, 2021 – March 11, 2022) in Birmingham Alabama, and the Dallas Museum of Art (April 15, 2022 – August 5, 2022), in Dallas Texas.

Visit Spiro Mounds for more information, including photos, maps and a calendar of associated programming.

The Spiro and the Art of the Mississippian World has been made possible in part by major grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Henry Luce Foundation, as well as support from the Kirkpatrick Foundation.

The Mueller Report

THE MUELLER REPORT: THE COMPLETE AND FINAL FINDINGS AGAINST PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

The highly controversial, and long-awaited Mueller Report featuring a shocking introduction by Carter Page, Ph.D.

Paperback | Ebook

Fifty years from now, American children will read about how The Mueller Report was a, if not the, defining document of our time. Quite often the history books gloss over the “uglier” parts of our past. Let this be one of those times when we choose to collectively remember, rather than forget, in the hopes of forging a brighter, stronger future for the American people.

With an introduction written by Carter Page, former foreign policy advisor to President Donald Trump’s campaign during the 2016 presidential election campaign, this edition frames the findings in a different light than we have previously seen. Some can argue that the investigation primarily targeted Page as a path to President Trump. His private life was utterly disrupted throughout the epic witch hunt by the Mueller investigation, though he ultimately was not accused of any wrongdoing whatsoever.

With only the redacted report available, much is left open to interpretation as our country finds itself on a precipice of serious change.  Page frames the report with his unique perspective, calling into question the gross abuse of power by the Democratic party, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the operatives who seek to, ironically, obstruct the Constitution themselves.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The U.S. Department of Justice is the federal government’s justice administration agency, set with the task to defend the interests of the United States according to its laws by securing public safety against domestic and foreign threats, preventing and controlling crime, implementing justice for guilty parties, and guaranteeing unbiased law enforcement for all Americans.

ABOUT CARTER PAGE, Ph.D.

Carter Page, Ph.D. is Founder and Managing Partner of Global Natural Gas Ventures LLC in Oklahoma City and Global Energy Capital LLC in New York. Those businesses have been temporarily derailed due to a multimillion-dollar 2016 smear campaign funded by the Democratic National Committee and their associates, shortly after he volunteered for the Trump campaign’s early foreign policy committee early that year.  Following this election interference by political operatives in Washington and abroad, Dr. Page has more recently focused on helping to repair and protect American democracy. His current initiatives include various nationwide legal projects that may eventually assist in restoring the U.S. Constitution, including often forgotten principles such as Due Process and the Rule of Law.

Dr. Page has decades of experience as a foreign policy scholar, including a six-year term as a Fellow at the Center for National Policy where he focused on energy and foreign policy issues.  He has lectured extensively worldwide and past teaching experience includes service as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at New York University. Dr. Page is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, where he was a former International Affairs Fellow and Co-Director of the Council’s study group on the Caspian Sea region.  In this capacity, he conducted research on economic and investment policy in the former Soviet Union.

In addition to multiple tours in Europe and the Middle East as a U.S. Navy surface warfare officer, Dr. Page previously served as the Navy’s working group representative for nuclear nonproliferation policy issues at the Pentagon where he focused on negotiations with Russia.  He also initiated and led weekly meetings following the Navy’s selection as lead service for a Joint Staff issue team during an in-depth Department of Defense strategic counterproliferation review.

An Eagle Scout and previously a Catholic altar boy, Dr. Page graduated with Distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy where he was a Trident Scholar.  He holds an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business, an M.A. in National Security Studies from Georgetown University and a Ph.D. from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies.

RUSSELL WESTBROOK’SHONOR THE GIFT” CLOTHING LINE SELLS OUT IN FIRST 24 HOURS AT OKC POP-UP SHOP

“HONOR THE GIFT” CELEBRATES RUSSELL WESTBROOK’S HOMAGE TO HIS ROOTS AND JOURNEY TO  BECOMING A FASHION ICON

In his latest venture into fashion, NBA MVP Basketball Russell Westbrooklaunched his new clothing line “Honor The Gift” this weekend with a surprise pop up at local OKC auto shop, Penn Automotive. A planned two-day event, the first public offering of the collection sold out on site within the first 24 hours. The vintage clothing line indiscreetly pays homage to Russell’s LA Youth featuring a small capsule of streetwear including sweatshirts, sweatpants and athleisure, with design inspo dating back to the late 20th century and Russell’s birth year 1988.

“I’m thankful for my humble beginnings in OKC,” Russell shared on Instagram last week. “I’m thankful for the man above for allowing me to achieve amazing things in my life. All of which has led me to create my own brand, Honor the Gift.”

Russell’s full collection will be available on the Honor The Gift website on Tuesday, November 21st @10:00 AM EST.

About Honor the Gift: Honor The Gift is a brand of self belief and dedication to honor the gift “he” has given you. Shaped into different product offerings that represent a personal promise to challenge all and achieve greatness no matter what hardship.
