Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Alec Benjamin has unveiled an official music video for his latest single “The Way You Felt.” In the Miles & AJ-directed visual, Alec confronts a past relationship by revisiting stops along their shared history and reliving pivotal moments – even though he’s alone this time. Watch it on his official YouTube channel here.
“I love music videos that have the ability to tell the story beyond the lyrics of a song,” Alec shared. “When I wrote ‘The Way You Felt,’ I found myself thinking about an ex-girlfriend, so when it came time to shoot the video, I felt inspired to go back to all of the places where our relationship unfolded. I thought it was the perfect way to process some good and bad memories, and maybe get a little closure, which I obviously needed because I’m still writing about it.”
“The Way You Felt” is available to stream and download now here via Elektra Records. Upon release, Billboard praised, “The pain feels genuine, and Benjamin’s soothing delivery creates the impression that the shock hasn’t fully registered.” Alec recently delivered the song’s network television performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Watch the clip here. To celebrate Mother’s Day, Corden and his mother Margaret also welcomed Alec and his mother Janet onto the show for a special interview. Watch it here.
Adding further dimensions to the track, Alec also recently shared an acoustic version and a Mandarin version entitled “你的目光(The Way You Felt).” The song marked Alec’s first official Mandarin release, and debuted at #1 on NetEase Music’s Western New Music Chart in China, surpassing new releases from artists including Lorde and Maroon 5. Competing with both domestic and international releases, the track also climbed to #2 on the platform’s Viral Chart and #8 on the New Music Chart. After resuming his study of the language during the COVID-19 pandemic, he collaborated with Chinese actress and singer Zhao Lusi on a Mandarin version of his hit single “Water Fountain” earlier this year. Watch their duet on his YouTube channel here.
This Fall, Alec will return to the road for a North American tour with support from Harry Hudson. The 23-city trek kicks off on September 14 in Santa Cruz, CA, and wraps on October 21 in Pomona, CA. Due to overwhelming demand, he has already added second nights in multiple markets and upgraded his Dallas, TX show from Canton Hall to The Bomb Factory.
Remaining tickets for the tour are available now here.
The Way You Felt” follows Alec’s critically acclaimed 2020 debut studio album,These Two Windows. Generating nearly half-a-billion streams in under a year, it boasts the hit singles “Jesus In LA,” “Oh My God,” and “Mind Is A Prison.” Attracting widespread praise, People raved, “The album is a major milestone,” and Stereogum christened him “A fascinating voice in modern pop.” In addition to plugs from The New York Times, American Songwriter and more, Billboard noted, “The rising pop singer-songwriter succeeds in making the matter distinctive by how much his lyrics read like a heart-to-heart conversation.”

About Alec Benjamin
As popular music gets more and more “genre-less,” Alec Benjamin has only gotten more and more era-less. You can’t pin his candid storytelling, warm melodies, sticky hooks, and natural production to any age. That’s why he’s quietly become his generation’s own troubadour. Thus far, he has amassed nearly four billion streams, 820 million YouTube views, and multiple gold and platinum singles. He has sold out shows on three continents and counts Billie Eilish and John Mayer among his most vocal and ardent fans. Not to mention, he’s collaborated with everyone from Alessia Cara to Chinese superstar Zhao Lusi. His 2018 mixtape, Narrated For You, picked up a gold certification, while the 2020 debut album, These Two Windows, arrived to widespread critical acclaim from Billboard, People, Stereogum, and more. After a Global Pandemic, a year of soul-searching, and countless hours writing, he returns with his new single “The Way You Felt.”
Louisville, KY’s Bendigo Fletcher have unveiled “Astro Pup,” the third track off their forthcoming debut album Fits of Laughter. The song is available to stream and download starting today HERE. Watch a lyric video for the song HERE. Fits of Laughter is due for release on August 13, 2021 via Elektra Records and is available for pre-order now HERE. Merch bundles and limited edition colored vinyl are available exclusively through the bandߣs online store HERE.
On “Astro Pup,” the band delivers a heartbreak anthem spiked with heavenly harmonies and radiant banjo melodies. As Bendigo Fletcher’s first time working with an outside producer (Ken Coomer, original drummer for Wilco and Uncle Tupelo), Fits of Laughter draws much of its freewheeling energy from the deliberately unfussy nature of their recording sessions. “Going into working with Ken, we felt confident that we wanted to retain the jangly sweetness of the music we’ve made in the past,” shares frontman Ryan Anderson. “There’s loose ends and missed beats that we didn’t intend to make happen, but those moments always feel really special when they’re resolved it sounds like a band actually playing together.”
This Summer, Bendigo Fletcher will return to the road for a run of headline shows and festival appearances. In the Fall and Winter, the band will support labelmate Anderson East on both legs of his Maybe We Never Die Tour of North America. The 22-city trek kicks off on October 21, 2021 with two nights at Los Angeles, CA’s famed Troubadour, and wraps on February 02, 2022 at Toronto, Canada’s Danforth Music Hall. A complete list of live dates and ticket information can be found HERE.
Bendigo Fletcher announced their Elektra Records signing in an exclusive interview with American Songwriter, and previewed Fits of Laughter with the release of lead single “Evergreen” earlier this year. In May, the band returned with the album’s groove-heavy opener “Sugar in the Creek”and an accompanying animated music video. The album’s early tracks have been praised as “somewhere between the post-Woodstock folk scene of the 70’s and that decade’s burgeoning hard rock movement” (FLOOD Magazine), and “denser psych-rock with some remaining elements of Bendigo Fletcher’s drifting folk-Americana roots” (American Songwriter). Earlier this month, The Bluegrass Situation premiered a live video of the band performing “Sugar In The Creek” at Louisville, KY’s Blackacre Farm. Watch it HERE.
Throughout Fits of Laughter, frontman Ryan Anderson crafts the patchwork poetry of his lyrics by serenely observing the world around him. When matched with the band’s gorgeous collision of country and folk-rock and dreamy psychedelia, the result is story-songs graced with raw humanity, wildly offbeat humor, and a transcendent sense of wonder. For help in forging the album’s ragged elegance, Bendigo Fletcher worked with producer Ken Coomer, laying down the album in nine frenetic days. The album bears an undeniable immediacy, thanks in part to the band’s decision to limit the tracklist to eight essential songs (a move largely inspired by extraordinarily lean and iconic albums like Television’s Marquee Moon).
Fits of Laughter follows a trio of independent EPs that quietly amassed millions of streams and earned praise from Pop Matters, Atwood Magazine, and more. Converting audiences to fans on the road, Bendigo Fletcher has supported Mt. Joy, Nathaniel Rateliff, Rayland Baxter, Caamp, and Hiss Golden Messenger on tour. Bendigo Fletcher is: Ryan Anderson (lead vocals, guitar, banjo) – Andrew Shupert (backing vocals, lead guitar) – Evan Wagner (backing vocals, keys, guitar, auxiliary percussion) – Conner Powell (bass) – Chris Weis (drums).
GRAMMY® Award-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE have released “Sunshine” the fourth track off their forthcoming studio album Into The Mystery. The song is available to stream and download starting today here. Into The Mystery is due for release on July 30 via Elektra Records and is available for pre-order now here. Limited edition merch offerings are available exclusively through NEEDTOBREATHE’s online store here.
Last week NEEDTOBREATHE delivered the television debut performance of Into The Mystery’s current single “I Wanna Remember” alongside seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner Carrie Underwood at the 2021 “CMT Music Awards.” Watch their unforgettable performance here. Crowned as one of the most show-stopping moments of the evening by both US Weekly and Entertainment Tonight, Billboard shared “Bear Rinehart and Underwood’s vocals intertwining like leather and lace,” and praised, “the love song about wanting to remember an especially romantic moment felt particularly poignant as we head into a summer where new memories will be made after putting dreams on hold for more than a year.”
Into The Mystery was announced last month alongside the release of the album’s lead single and title track. Earlier this month, the band unveiled the album’s opening track “What I’m Here For” Into The Mystery’s early songs have received praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, People, American Songwriter, and more. The album will also feature collaborations with Jon Foreman of Switchfoot and Natalie Hemby of The Highwomen.
This Fall, NEEDTOBREATHE will embark on their massive Into The Mystery Tour with support from Switchfoot and The New Respects. The 38-city trek will visit iconic venues such as Denver, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (fifth consecutive sold out appearance) and Los Angeles, CA’s Greek Theatre, and see the band perform their first-ever headline show at Nashville, TN’s Bridgestone Arena. The Into The Mystery Tour will kick off on September 7 in St. Louis, MO, and wrap on October 30 in Atlanta, GA. Tickets for all dates are available now here.
Just as their critically acclaimed 2020 album Out of Body impacted audiences, NEEDTOBREATHE capitalized on a rush of inspiration and rode the wave of creativity. Without telling a soul, the band decamped to a historic house-turned-recording studio in Columbia, TN to begin working on new music. Over the course of three weeks, they resided under one roof, laughed during meals, explored their surroundings, and recorded together with co-producer and engineer Konrad Snyder and special guests. Out of this de facto creative hub and “extended summer camp,” they handcrafted an album reflective of the moment, yet independent of all expectations, even their own. For as intimate as the story may seem, they filmed every minute of it for an upcoming documentary entitled, Into The Mystery. Watch a teaser for the film here.
The past 12 months represent one of the most prolific periods in the band’s career thus far. They recently unveiled Live from the Woods Vol. 2, a live album recorded during three sold out, socially distanced outdoor concerts at Pelham, TN’s famed The Caverns. The band previewed the album with a performance of “Alive” on CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden. Meanwhile, Out of Body debuted in the top 5 across three Billboard charts, and received critical acclaim from Billboard, Spin, Southern Living, American Songwriter, Taste of Country, and more.

Since 1998, NEEDTOBREATHE have quietly emerged as a dynamic force in rock music, topping the charts, selling out historic venues, and generating hundreds of millions of streams to date. The band has gathered one platinum single, four gold singles, and a gold album. Along the way, “Multiplied” notched their first GRAMMY® nomination. Simultaneously, they performed to sold out crowds at arenas and amphitheaters coast to coast. In addition to garnering two nods at the Billboard Music Awards, they’ve attracted acclaim from People, Rolling Stone, Forbes, and many more. In 2020, they sowed the seeds for rebirth with Out of Body. It bowed in the Top 5 of three Billboard charts and reeled in acclaim. Within weeks of its release, the quintet, Bear Rinehart [vocals, guitar], Seth Bolt [bass, vocals], Josh Lovelace [keys, vocals], Randall Harris [drums], and Tyler Burkum [guitar], stole away to an old historic house in Columbia, TN where they lived together, ate together, laughed together, and recorded together for three weeks in the fall of 2020. They returned home with their eighth album and documentary Into The Mystery [Elektra Records]. It’s the kind of record that could only be made by a band who has been through it all and still has enough faith to keep encouraging one another. It’s NEEDTOBREATHE.

About All Time Low
Throughout a catalog streamed nearly half-a-billion times and highlighted by two gold albums, three gold singles, and a platinum single, All Time Low have continually raised the bar for both pop and punk. Since 2003, the group has notched five straight Top 10 entries on the Billboard Top 200, spanning the gold-certified Nothing Personal , Dirty Work , Future Hearts , and Last Young Renegade . The latter attracted tastemaker acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone, Paste, and more as the band canvassed the world, headlining arenas on three continents. 2019 saw All Time Low celebrate Nothing Personal with a string of sold-out anniversary shows and a documentary following the band as they revisited the album at RedBull Studios. The record’s influence remains prevalent with Rock Sound citing its impact on Fall Out Boy, 5 Seconds of Summer, and more. After nearly two decades together, All Time Low have rekindled the spark they first ignited in a Baltimore basement on their 2020 full-length studio album, Wake Up, Sunshine. These four lifelong friends walked into a tiny room, plugged in, and turned up with the same spirit, but with more experience, and proficiency gained from performing to millions worldwide. As a result, they’ve delivered Wake Up, Sunshine, a captivating body of work featuring the hit single Monsters (feat. blackbear), which spent 17 weeks atop Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart marking the group’s first #1 at radio. A brand-new version of Monsters was released at the end of 2020 featuring both blackbear and global super star Demi Lovato. In 2021, the band returned with their latest single Once In A Lifetime.

W.L. is highlighted by current single “Glasgow,” heartfelt ballad “Somebody Loves You,” the hip-hop driven “Elephants,” the anthemic “Always,” and festival-ready track, “All Your Friends.” Dork Magazine praised, “W.L. is a masterclass in ballads and risk-taking that proves music works best when it comes from the heart.” NME proclaimed “The Scottish rockers are creating an arsenal of anthems for festival season’s return.” Atwood Magazine hailed, “The four-piece have rewritten the song sheet for British indie bands with their open-ended and genre-merging record.”

When matched with the band’s gorgeously jangly collision of country and folk-rock and dreamy psychedelia, the result is story-songs graced with raw humanity, wildly offbeat humor, and a transcendent sense of wonder. For help in forging the album’s ragged elegance, Bendigo Fletcher worked with producer Ken Coomer (original drummer for Wilco and Uncle Tupelo), laying down the album in nine frenetic days. The album bears an undeniable immediacy, thanks in part to the band’s decision to limit the tracklist to eight essential songs (a move largely inspired by extraordinarily lean and iconic albums like Television’s Marquee Moon).
Referring to Fits of Laughter as a coming-of-age album, Anderson also examines a more internal conflict throughout the songs, including his choice to abandon his medical-school aspirations in favor of pursuing a career in music. The title’s really about the spectrum of emotions I’ve felt on the way to finding what makes me feel like I’m living truthfully, rather than holding onto what I think other people’s expectations are of me, Anderson shares. It’s a phrase that bridges all of those emotions, everything from joy to hysteria.
Bendigo Fletcher recently announced their Elektra Records signing in an exclusive interview with American Songwriter. The band previewed Fits of Laughter with the March release of lead single Evergreen. Watch them perform the track live from Louisville, KY’s Blackacre Farm here.
Fits of Laughter follows a trio of independent EPs that quietly amassed millions of streams and earned praise from PopMatters, Atwood Magazine, and more. Converting audiences to fans on the road, Bendigo Fletcher has supported Mt. Joy, Nathaniel Rateliff, Rayland Baxter, Caamp, and Hiss Golden Messenger on tour. Bendigo Fletcher is: Ryan Anderson (lead vocals, guitar, banjo) – Andrew Shupert (backing vocals, lead guitar) – Evan Wagner (backing vocals, keys, guitar, auxiliary percussion) – Conner Powell (bass) – Chris Weis (drums).
