After emerging as one of the most quietly disruptive forces in culture, GRAMMY® Award-nominated alternative insurgent Poppy will unleash her new Stagger EP on October 14, 2022. It notably marks her debut for LAVA Records/Republic Records.

She comes out of the gate swinging with the new single “FYB. Powered by a thrash-and-burn punk riff, a barrage of distortion grinds up against her insidiously melodic delivery. It cycles through a hypnotic hook as she repeats, “Fuck the world, it’ll just fuck you back. A fittingly captivating visual accompanies the track. In the clip, Poppy walks on a spinning animated globe under the glow of lively hand-drawn planets.

“FYB” stands out as something of a clarion call for the multi-faceted maverick as it sets the stage for a whole lot more to come this year and in 2023.

Next up, she supports The Smashing Pumpkins and Jane’s Addiction on one of the fall’s hottest alternative rock tours, beginning October 2nd through November 19th. She also joins the When We Were Young Festivals in Las Vegas, NV October 22-23 and October 29. Finally, she launches the Never Find My Place Headline Tour across the UK and Europe November 26ththrough December 21st.

The next era of Poppy is underway now. You have been warned.

ABOUT POPPY:
Poppy has no regard for convention, genres, labels, assumptions, or expectations. Instead, she eclipses all of them in the flames of an intensely uncompromising creative spirit with no rival. By burning everything down and building a vision of her own out of the ashes, she represents a future where high art and high fashion equal subversion of the highest order. Following a quiet grind, she reached critical mass with I Disagree. Beyond tallying 100 million-plus streams, it concluded 2020 on year-end lists by Upset [#1], Revolver, Popbuzz, Kerrang!, and more as she graced the covers of NME, Revolver, Upset, Kerrang!, and Tush. Standout “BLOODMONEY” even garnered a GRAMMY® nod for “Best Metal Performance, lifting her to rarified air as the “first-ever solo female artist nominated in the category. At the same time, she electrified the stage at the GRAMMY® Awards. Throughout 2021, Poppy only maintained her momentum with the EAT (NXT Soundtrack) EP, Flux, and So Mean EP. She steered the vision entirely—from the aesthetic to personally directing multiple videos. Infiltrating the mainstream, she has notably collaborated with Victor and Rolf on the Flowerbomb fragrance with L’Oreal and with KOI Footwear on two pairs of signature shoes. Casting a shadow over multiple forms of media, she has also penned two graphic novels, Genesis One and Poppy’s Inferno, and her short film I’m Poppy premiered at Sundance Film Festival during 2019.

As always, she only looks forward with the release of Stagger EP and the dawn of a new chapter unlike anything else you’ve heard, seen, or felt before. Poppy is here.

Maggie Rogers Shares New Album "Horses" via Capitol Records for use by 360 MAGAZINE

MAGGIE ROGERS – HORSES

After yesterday’s release of Horses from her forthcoming album, Surrender, Maggie Rogers returns today with the official video for the track. The GRAMMY Award-nominated producer/songwriter/performer shot the simple yet powerful visual in a field in upstate New York, accompanying herself on acoustic guitar and co-directing with Michael Scanlon. Kelly Jeffries, another frequent visual collaborator of Rogers, served as cinematographer. View Horses HERE. Download / stream the song HERE.

Rogers recalls, “We laughed a lot. Drank wine. Talked about UFOs and marveled as the crescent moon set along the fields. We had a loose plan, but mostly trusted our instincts and our collective taste. And we had a blast. The way making art should be (in my philosophy). Not about the result, but about the process.”

Set for release on July 29 via Capitol Records, Surrender is the follow-up to 2019 Heard It in a Past Life, which entered Billboard Top Album Sales chart at No. 1, landed her a nomination for Best New Artist, and went on to amass over one billion combined global streams. Rogers will launch Surrender with a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, July 26.

Horses came in a burst of creative energy while she was recording at Peter Gabriel’s studio in the U.K.

Rogers says, There been only a few, rare times in my life when two songs have appeared in the same day. And only one time when three songs came at once. This was the case with Horses. I was at Real World Studios with my dearest collaborator, Kid Harpoon. On day one, I sat down at the piano and he sat down at the drums and Overdrive came pouring out. I knew immediately it would be the opening track of the record. We started day two with That’s Where I Am, caught I’ve Got A Friend after lunch, and came back for Horses after dinner and a glass or two of wine. Tom started playing guitar and immediately I started writing. I looked up to ask him what he thought and he simply said, keep going. I wondered if maybe it was time to call it a night and he simply said, keep going. When I finished the words, I suggested we record in the morning and he said, give it one take. That take is Horses. It’s a song about letting go. About wanting to feel free in a time where I felt an overwhelming amount of numbness. Sometimes I’m singing to a loved one, sometimes a friend. Sometimes I think I’m singing to myself. And I love that I can’t always tell the difference.

The song follows Want Want, which The New York Times praised for its intensity and crunchy guitar tones, going on to note, this tale of long-sublimated desire finally finds an explosive expression in its chorus: And I want you. V Magazine said, Want Want is a booming track, backed by a groovy drumline and Roger’s own powerful vocals.

Fans who pre-order the digital edition of Surrender will instantly receive Horses, Want Want, and That’s Where I Am, which SPIN chose as #1 on their list of the 30 Best Songs of 2022 (So Far). View the official video for That’s Where I Am, which features cameos by David Byrne, Quil Lemons, and Hamilton Leithauser, HERE.

After multiple sold-out headline tours and major festival performances in support of Heard It in a Past Life, Rogers retreated to the coast of Maine in early 2020 and completely cut herself off from the noise of the outside world. For months on end, she spent most of her time reading and resting and walking along the jagged cliffs, compelled by the fierce and unforgiving nature of the North Atlantic Ocean. Channeling the ocean’s unruly energy, she soon arrived at the controlled chaos and ecstatic physicality that would come to define Surrender. Over the course of 12 unfettered yet exactingly crafted tracks, Rogers fully captures the frenetic intensity of the last two years of her life, bringing her bracing honesty to stories of anger and peace and self-salvation, transcendence through sex and freedom through letting go.

Last week NEEDTOBREATHE delivered the television debut performance of Into The Mystery’s current single “I Wanna Remember” alongside seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner Carrie Underwood at the 2021 “CMT Music Awards.” Watch their unforgettable performance here. Crowned as one of the most show-stopping moments of the evening by both US Weekly and Entertainment TonightBillboard shared “Bear Rinehart and Underwood’s vocals intertwining like leather and lace,” and praised, “the love song about wanting to remember an especially romantic moment felt particularly poignant as we head into a summer where new memories will be made after putting dreams on hold for more than a year.”

Into The Mystery was announced last month alongside the release of the album’s lead single and title track. Earlier this month, the band unveiled the album’s opening track “What I’m Here ForInto The Mystery’s early songs have received praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, People, American Songwriter, and more. The album will also feature collaborations with Jon Foreman of Switchfoot and Natalie Hemby of The Highwomen.

This Fall, NEEDTOBREATHE will embark on their massive Into The Mystery Tour with support from Switchfoot and The New Respects. The 38-city trek will visit iconic venues such as Denver, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (fifth consecutive sold out appearance) and Los Angeles, CA’s Greek Theatre, and see the band perform their first-ever headline show at Nashville, TN’s Bridgestone Arena. Just as their critically acclaimed 2020 album Out of Body impacted audiences, NEEDTOBREATHE capitalized on a rush of inspiration and rode the wave of creativity. Without telling a soul, the band decamped to a historic house-turned-recording studio in Columbia, TN to begin working on new music. Over the course of three weeks, they resided under one roof, laughed during meals, explored their surroundings, and recorded together with co-producer and engineer Konrad Snyder and special guests. Out of this de facto creative hub and “extended summer camp,” they handcrafted an album reflective of the moment, yet independent of all expectations, even their own. For as intimate as the story may seem, they filmed every minute of it for an upcoming documentary entitled, Into The Mystery. Watch a teaser for the film here.

The past 12 months represent one of the most prolific periods in the band’s career thus far. They recently unveiled Live from the Woods Vol. 2, a live album recorded during three sold out, socially distanced outdoor concerts at Pelham, TN’s famed The Caverns. The band previewed the album with a performance of “Alive” on CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden. Meanwhile, Out of Body debuted in the top 5 across three Billboard charts, and received critical acclaim from Billboard, Spin, Southern Living, American Songwriter, Taste of Country, and more.

About NEEDTOBREATHE:

Since 1998, NEEDTOBREATHE have quietly emerged as a dynamic force in rock music, topping the charts, selling out historic venues, and generating hundreds of millions of streams to date. The band has gathered one platinum single, four gold singles, and a gold album. Along the way, “Multiplied” notched their first GRAMMY® nomination. Simultaneously, they performed to sold out crowds at arenas and amphitheaters coast to coast. In addition to garnering two nods at the Billboard Music Awards, they’ve attracted acclaim from People, Rolling Stone, Forbes, and many more. In 2020, they sowed the seeds for rebirth with Out of Body. It bowed in the Top 5 of three Billboard charts and reeled in acclaim. Within weeks of its release, the quintet, Bear Rinehart [vocals, guitar], Seth Bolt [bass, vocals], Josh Lovelace [keys, vocals], Randall Harris [drums], and Tyler Burkum [guitar], stole away to an old historic house in Columbia, TN where they lived together, ate together, laughed together, and recorded together for three weeks in the fall of 2020. They returned home with their eighth album and documentary Into The Mystery [Elektra Records]. It’s the kind of record that could only be made by a band who has been through it all and still has enough faith to keep encouraging one another. It’s NEEDTOBREATHE.

NEEDTOBREATHE – “Survival”

GRAMMY® Award-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE have released “Survival” (feat. Drew & Ellie Holcomb), the third track off of their forthcoming album, Out of Body. Watch an accompanying visualizer for the song HERE. Additionally, the band has announced the album will arrive on August 28, 2020 via Elektra Records/Centricity Music. Out of Body is available for pre-order and pre-save starting today HERE. Fans who pre-order the album will receive immediate downloads of “Survival”, as well as previously released tracks “Hang On” and “Seasons”.

“We met Drew & Ellie years ago backstage at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado. We fell in love with them… and to date they have toured with us more than any other band,” the band shared. “They have worked longer and harder than any other artist out there, and will be the first to admit that they nearly gave up a number of times. If there was ever a song to collaborate with them on, it’d be ‘Survival.’”

On Out of Body, the platinum-certified trio—Bear Rinehart [vocals, guitar], Seth Bolt [bass, vocals], and Josh Lovelace [keys, vocals]—examine life, family, and friends through a youthful prism. The guys take stock of not only two decades as a band, but also first-time fatherhood and the future over a rich soundtrack of soulful rock with stadium-size scope and poetic intimacy. After spending a week at a beach house in Charleston to gather thoughts and ideas, the trio headed to Nashville, to record alongside producers Cason Cooley and Jeremy Lutito. As they cultivated a team atmosphere, the songs organically came to life.

Out of Body was introduced in April with the release of the anthemic lead single “Hang On” and ballad “Seasons”. American Songwriter claimed, “‘Hang On’ could easily be the next summertime sing-along,” and E! News praised the track as “The sort of anthem we all need right about now.” “Hang On” has already soundtracked a national campaign for the PGA Tour’s Impact Initiative and been featured in the season finale of American Idol. Watch the track’s lyric video HERE.

Out of Body follows 2016’s H A R D L O V E, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Current Album Sales Chart, and featured the gold-certified title track “Hard Love”.

Andra Day] scored a gold plaque.

Robin Thicke “Forever Mine”

R&B superstar Robin Thicke debuts his latest single “Forever Mine”, a soulful ballad that exudes love and affection. Thicke reminds the world that it’s important to take a moment and appreciate their loved ones. “Right now people are more stressed than ever,” Thicke says. “We need patience, we need hope and we need love.”

The five-time GRAMMY award nominee and panelist on “The Masked Singer” has been isolating at home, like most of the world during these unprecedented times, spending quality time with his children. “Forever Mine” takes a moment to slow things down and give thanks to a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love, with Thicke crooning the lyrics, “can’t let a love like this pass you by.” The ballad comes packed with sultry jazz saxophone intermixed with a quintessential piano melody, all driven by Thicke’s powerful vocals.

A nod to the late Andre Harrell, a longtime friend and collaborator of Thicke’s, he confides “‘Forever Mine’ was the last record I finished with Andre, my mentor, perfect someone, executive producer, and Godfather to my son Julian. When you meet the you can’t let them slip away.”

“Forever Mine” is one of the new songs from his upcoming studio album.

In the meantime, fans can invite Robin into their own home via Zoom in a series called “Robin Doing Things.” Thicke has created a special home video that people can download on his website to use as their virtual background. The hilarious recording features him lifting weights, cleaning, drinking orange juice, along with a few other surprises, all from his kitchen.

She received two 2018 GRAMMY® Award nominations in top categories such as “Best New Artist” and “Song of the Year” for her debut single “Issues” from the 2017 mini-album Nervous System. “Issues” went triple-platinum, crossed 1 billion global streams, achieved consumption of 10 million, emerged as “the top-selling debut single of 2017, and scored a spot as the only solo female contribution on Variety’s “30 Most Consumed Songs of 2017” list.

Featuring on Clean Bandit’s “I Miss You, she notched her first Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart in addition to co-writing and lending her voice to Shawn Mendes’ “Like To Be You,” Lauv’s “There’s No Way, and Noah Kahan’s “Hurt Somebody. She also landed her first #1 at country radio with Keith Urban’s smash “Coming Home. Not to mention, she wrote for everyone from Janelle Monàe and P!nk to Christina Aguilera and Jesse Ware as the year went on. Meanwhile, her solo single “Jump” [feat. Trippie Redd] cracked 100 million streams as she hit the stage at Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! and the Today Show Summer Concert Series to perform it. Along the way, she toured with the likes of Maroon 5, Keith Urban, Shawn Mendes, and Niall Horan.
