The tour will wrap up on September 24 with a special show in Cleveland, where Trent Reznor founded the band in 1988. Nine Inch Nails was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, headquartered in Cleveland, in 2020. Ministry and Nitzer Ebb, fellow pioneers of the industrial music movement, will join Nine Inch Nails as special guests at Cleveland’s Blossom Music Center for the exclusive, one-night-only event.

Special guests for the other dates will be announced shortly. Nine Inch Nails will also headline Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta and Primavera Sound in Los Angeles. See below for the itinerary.

Reviews of Nine Inch Nails‘ 2018 tour were stellar. Hailing the show as “an extra-sensory marvel,” The Washington Post said, “Reznor and company delivered, pummeling eardrums from behind a curtain of smoke and strobe lights.” Vulture observed, “In concert, Nine Inch Nails is dizzying, prickly, sensual. The possibilities are endless.” Brooklyn Vegan noted, “[it’s] the kind of show that can give you a psychedelic, out-of-body experience, a total sensory overload (hypnotic light show included).”

Epic Destinations for Adrenaline Junkies to Add to Your Travel List

An adrenaline-filled adventure can be anything from jumping out of a plane to looking off the side of a tall building. Sometimes getting out of your comfort zone can make for a memorable experience, so why not try something new? Whether you like to keep your thrill-seeking desire under wraps or prefer to go full force, there’s going to be something on this list for you to enjoy.

Our Top Destinations for Insatiable Thrill-Seekers

Sedona, Arizona: Off-Roading

There are so many incredible things to do for adrenaline junkies within the state of Arizona, but Sedona’s off-roading center is the place to enjoy desert driving. At Sedona Off-Road Center, you can rent a self-guided Razor, which can seat as many as 6 people. Rent one for a full day, stay on the trails or drift around the sandy hills. Helmets and safety gear are included.

Panama City Beach, Florida: Flight Simulators

At Panama Beach, you’re treated to sandy white beaches and emerald waters, but don’t stick around here for too long. At Cobra Adventure Park, you can experience the Max Flight Simulator or the “rollercoaster of the future.” There are multiple rides dedicated to adrenaline junkies, including the Slingshot, which reaches 100 miles per hour, and the Indy Speedway.

Waikiki Beach, Hawaii: Scuba Diving

Hawaii is one of the best places in the world to scuba dive, and tourists have plenty of options for how they want to experience the ocean depths. You can learn how to scuba dive with qualified instructors across Waikiki Beach. While you do start in shallow waters, you can quickly move up to open water dives, where you’ll see tropical fish, sea turtles, and coral reefs.

Santa Fe, New Mexico: Whitewater Rafting

The whitewater rafting in Santa Fe is top-notch, as it has something for everyone. If you’re looking for a leisurely float, you can go through the azure canyon of the Rio Chama. On the other hand, experienced swimmers can take on the Class IV rapids of the world-famous Taos Box. You can also try kayaking, paddleboarding, and fly fishing while you’re in the area.

Bend, Oregon: Snowboarding

If you haven’t skied in Bend, you need to start now. Thrill-seekers and terrain-tacklers will love riding the 4,300-acre lift-accessible grounds that promise to offer visitors the best snowboarding experience of their lives. There are plenty of other Winter activities for you to enjoy, like hiking, ice skating, sledding, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing, so zip up your coat and stay warm!

Las Vegas, Nevada: ZERO-G

You can’t talk about exciting vacation destinations without adding Las Vegas to the list, and we’re not talking about the rush you get from gambling. The ZERO-G Experience, which mimics astronaut training, allows you to feel what it’s like to live in a world without gravity. It’ll probably make your stomach churn, but strap in because you’re paying for 5 hours of weightlessness.

Twin Falls, Idaho: BASE Jumping

BASE jumping from a cliff is one of the most extreme thrills you can pursue, mainly because you have a short window to deploy your parachute. Travel to Twin Falls to stand 500 feet above Perrine Bridge, which doesn’t seem so bad until you actually jump. You don’t need a permit to try BASE jumping, but it’s recommended you receive some instruction before attempting it.

Anchorage, Alaska: Heli-Skiing

After BASE jumping, heli-skiing doesn’t seem so extreme, but it’s still incredibly scary. Skiers who try heli-skiing are flown up towards the base of an inaccessible mountain top and descend towards the base via skis. The Chugach Mountains in Alaska offer miles of terrain and steep descents that guarantee you won’t see the same line twice in the same trip.

NEEDTOBREATHE – SUNSHINE – INTO THE MYSTERY

GRAMMY® Award-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE have released “Sunshine” the fourth track off their forthcoming studio album Into The Mystery. The song is available to stream and download starting today hereInto The Mystery is due for release on July 30 via Elektra Records and is available for pre-order now here. Limited edition merch offerings are available exclusively through NEEDTOBREATHE’s online store here.

Last week NEEDTOBREATHE delivered the television debut performance of Into The Mystery’s current single “I Wanna Remember” alongside seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner Carrie Underwood at the 2021 “CMT Music Awards.” Watch their unforgettable performance here. Crowned as one of the most show-stopping moments of the evening by both US Weekly and Entertainment TonightBillboard shared “Bear Rinehart and Underwood’s vocals intertwining like leather and lace,” and praised, “the love song about wanting to remember an especially romantic moment felt particularly poignant as we head into a summer where new memories will be made after putting dreams on hold for more than a year.”

Into The Mystery was announced last month alongside the release of the album’s lead single and title track. Earlier this month, the band unveiled the album’s opening track “What I’m Here ForInto The Mystery’s early songs have received praise from Rolling Stone, Billboard, People, American Songwriter, and more. The album will also feature collaborations with Jon Foreman of Switchfoot and Natalie Hemby of The Highwomen.

This Fall, NEEDTOBREATHE will embark on their massive Into The Mystery Tour with support from Switchfoot and The New Respects. The 38-city trek will visit iconic venues such as Denver, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (fifth consecutive sold out appearance) and Los Angeles, CA’s Greek Theatre, and see the band perform their first-ever headline show at Nashville, TN’s Bridgestone Arena. The Into The Mystery Tour will kick off on September 7 in St. Louis, MO, and wrap on October 30 in Atlanta, GA. Tickets for all dates are available now here.

Just as their critically acclaimed 2020 album Out of Body impacted audiences, NEEDTOBREATHE capitalized on a rush of inspiration and rode the wave of creativity. Without telling a soul, the band decamped to a historic house-turned-recording studio in Columbia, TN to begin working on new music. Over the course of three weeks, they resided under one roof, laughed during meals, explored their surroundings, and recorded together with co-producer and engineer Konrad Snyder and special guests. Out of this de facto creative hub and “extended summer camp,” they handcrafted an album reflective of the moment, yet independent of all expectations, even their own. For as intimate as the story may seem, they filmed every minute of it for an upcoming documentary entitled, Into The Mystery. Watch a teaser for the film here.

The past 12 months represent one of the most prolific periods in the band’s career thus far. They recently unveiled Live from the Woods Vol. 2, a live album recorded during three sold out, socially distanced outdoor concerts at Pelham, TN’s famed The Caverns. The band previewed the album with a performance of “Alive” on CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden. Meanwhile, Out of Body debuted in the top 5 across three Billboard charts, and received critical acclaim from Billboard, Spin, Southern Living, American Songwriter, Taste of Country, and more.

About NEEDTOBREATHE:

Since 1998, NEEDTOBREATHE have quietly emerged as a dynamic force in rock music, topping the charts, selling out historic venues, and generating hundreds of millions of streams to date. The band has gathered one platinum single, four gold singles, and a gold album. Along the way, “Multiplied” notched their first GRAMMY® nomination. Simultaneously, they performed to sold out crowds at arenas and amphitheaters coast to coast. In addition to garnering two nods at the Billboard Music Awards, they’ve attracted acclaim from People, Rolling Stone, Forbes, and many more. In 2020, they sowed the seeds for rebirth with Out of Body. It bowed in the Top 5 of three Billboard charts and reeled in acclaim. Within weeks of its release, the quintet, Bear Rinehart [vocals, guitar], Seth Bolt [bass, vocals], Josh Lovelace [keys, vocals], Randall Harris [drums], and Tyler Burkum [guitar], stole away to an old historic house in Columbia, TN where they lived together, ate together, laughed together, and recorded together for three weeks in the fall of 2020. They returned home with their eighth album and documentary Into The Mystery [Elektra Records]. It’s the kind of record that could only be made by a band who has been through it all and still has enough faith to keep encouraging one another. It’s NEEDTOBREATHE.
