MEET ME @ THE ALTAR TO RELEASE MAJOR LABEL DEBUT EP MODEL CITIZEN ON AUGUST 13 VIA FUELED BY RAMEN

NEW SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO FEEL A THING

NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED SUPPORTING COHEED AND CAMBRIA & THE USED THIS SUMMER, SUPPORTING ALL TIME LOW THIS FALL

“One of the most exciting young pop bands in the United States” – The FADER

“One of 2021’s most exciting new rock acts” – Rolling Stone

“Meet Me @ The Altar is the future of pop-punk” – NYLON

“Your new pop punk obsession” – Buzzfeed

“Some of the most promising, exciting pop-punk in recent memory” – Stereogum

Rising pop-punk trio Meet Me @ The Altar have announced their major label debut EP, Model Citizen. The news is heralded by the release of anthemic single Feel A Thing, which is available now on all streaming platforms. The group, whose name was inspired by a mutual love for Mortal Kombat, has their skills put to the test in the track’s official video, which finds them fighting their way out of an arcade game. The Model Citizen EP arrives August 13th via Fueled By Ramen.

“We are SO incredibly excited about Model Citizen being our first major release on Fueled By Ramen, these are absolutely our best songs to date, the band shared. Model Citizen was originally a different set of songs, but we decided to throw it all out just days before the EP was due because we knew we could write a more cohesive story with lots of energy. With a heavy easy core influence, we hope Model Citizen knocks everyone out of their seats!”

This summer, Meet Me @ The Altar will embark on a massive U.S. tour supporting Coheed and Cambria & The Used and appear at Riot Fest in Chicago. In the fall, they will return to the road with labelmates All Time Low and nothing, nowhere. for a tour of North America. A complete list of upcoming live dates can be found HERE.

Meet Me @ The Altar announced their Fueled By Ramen signing last October in an exclusive interview with Billboard and unleashed their critically acclaimed major label debut single Garden. The song’s vibrant music video premiered on The FADER, and Garden graced best songs of 2020 lists by NPR Music, The FADER, Refinery 29, and more. Earlier this year, the band debuted the powerful single, Hit Like A Girl in partnership with Facebook’s Women’s History Month campaign. Meet Me @ The Altar has already been named an artist to watch in 2021 by Rolling Stone, NYLONand more.

Crossing state lines and breaking all kinds of boundaries, the group’s members Edith Johnson [vocals], Téa Campbell [guitar], and Ada Juarez [drums] initially met online, bonding over the likes of Paramore and Twenty One Pilots and agreeing on a need for more representation in pop punk. Instead of waiting for somebody else to do it, they stepped up and became that representation as three proud women of color playing lightning-fast riffs, pounding out double kicks, and chanting huge hooks.

Stay tuned for more new music from Meet Me @ The Altar soon.

ABOUT MEET ME @ THE ALTAR:

Meet Me @ The Altar present a new musical and cultural paradigm for pop punk. The Florida trio Edith Johnson [vocals], Téa Campbell [guitar], and Ada Juarez [drums]ߞcertainly rip just as hard as the forbearers who inspired them, but the group also speak from a position rarely, if ever, heard in the genre as proud women of color. With Ada from New Jersey, Téa from Florida, and Edith from Georgia, the three-piece would meet in the Sunshine State and practice for hours nonstop just before gigs, morphing into a formidable force on stage. Booking their own tours, the band canvassed the country to promote their debut Changing States EP in 2018. Dozens of shows endeared them to a growing audience as they continued recording. MM@TA’s independent releases drew admiration from Halsey and All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth and landed them a deal with their dream record label Fueled By Ramen. In 2020, the band released their major label debut single Garden, and followed up with Hit Like A Girl this spring, earning praise from Rolling StoneBillboardThe FADERNPR MusicNYLON, and more.

About All Time Low

Throughout a catalog streamed nearly half-a-billion times and highlighted by two gold albums, three gold singles, and a platinum single, All Time Low have continually raised the bar for both pop and punk. Since 2003, the group has notched five straight Top 10 entries on the Billboard Top 200, spanning the gold-certified Nothing Personal [2009], Dirty Work [2011], Future Hearts [2015], and Last Young Renegade [2017]. The latter attracted tastemaker acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone, Paste, and more as the band canvassed the world, headlining arenas on three continents. 2019 saw All Time Low celebrate Nothing Personal with a string of sold-out anniversary shows and a documentary following the band as they revisited the album at RedBull Studios. The record’s influence remains prevalent with Rock Sound citing its impact on Fall Out Boy, 5 Seconds of Summer, and more. After nearly two decades together, All Time Low have rekindled the spark they first ignited in a Baltimore basement on their 2020 full-length studio album, Wake Up, Sunshine. These four lifelong friends walked into a tiny room, plugged in, and turned up with the same spirit, but with more experience, and proficiency gained from performing to millions worldwide. As a result, they’ve delivered Wake Up, Sunshine, a captivating body of work featuring the hit single Monsters (feat. blackbear), which spent 17 weeks atop Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart marking the group’s first #1 at radio. A brand-new version of Monsters was released at the end of 2020 featuring both blackbear and global super star Demi Lovato. In 2021, the band returned with their latest single Once In A Lifetime.

NOTHING,NOWHERE. SHARES NEW SONG: UPSIDE DOWN

Fueled By Ramen artist nothing, nowhere. has shared a brand-new single, upside down, which is featured on his widely anticipated new album TRAUMA FACTORY due out February 19th. Available now on all streaming platforms, “upside down” pulses with a duality of hypnotic rhythms as nothing, nowhere. traces the slow and painful dissolution of a relationship from his past.

nothing, nowhere. elaborated on the new track remarking, “We’ve all had our fair share of unhealthy relationships. ‘upside down’ is about a lost love and the inability to accept the new and painful circumstances.”

“upside down” arrives as nothing, nowhere’s recent single fake friend continues to climb Billboard’s “Alternative Airplay” chart, reaching Top 25 at the format this week. Also featured on TRAUMA FACTORY, “fake friend” is joined by a Mason Mercer directed official music video which spirals over nothing, nowhere.’s seamless alchemy of alternative, pop, rap, and punk.

Pre-orders for TRAUMA FACTORY are available at www.nothingnowhere.net featuring exclusive limited-edition vinyl and merch. Each pre-order will receive instant grat downloads of “upside down” and “fake friend” as well as previously released singles: lights (4444), pretend, DEATH, nightmare, and blood (Feat. KennyHoopla & JUDGE).

Over the course of 15 tracks, TRAUMA FACTORY cuts deep and finds nothing, nowhere. once again emerging from darkness, shedding external expectation, and moving forward into the glow of pure creation. Whether it be the anesthetized beats and intoxicating lull of “love or chemistry,” the cold piano-laden longing of “crave,” or the emotional immediacy of “upside down,” nothing, nowhere. paints from a wide palette of pain.

“TRAUMA FACTORY is an accumulation of songs written during a confusing time. it is about accepting the present and following your true north through the pain and suffering of human life,” nothing, nowhere. revealed He added, “I wanted to make an album that was truly genreless and inspire others to challenge themselves artistically. I believe the most inspiring art is unpredictable and unrestrictive. to me thatߣs what TRAUMA FACTORY is.”

Last year, The New York Times hailed “DEATH” as a “Scabrous, immensely satisfying emotional expurgation from Joe Mulherin that deploys early Beastie Boys drums and Rage Against the Machine bark-rapping in service of a rap-rock revival bathed in righteousness.”

Last year, he teamed up with Travis Barker for the collaborative EP, bloodlust. bloodlust was highlighted by lead single destruction, which debuted via The FADER with Kerrang! declaring “bloodlust feels like another world. From start to finish it envelops you in its hazy, muted soundscapes.” bloodlust followed a prolific string of singles from nothing, nowhere. –call back, dread, and ornament, and arrived just a year after the release of his acclaimed 2018 LP, ruiner. The sophomore LP features album standouts ruiner and rejecter, which Pigeons&Planes declared, “perfectly exemplify why nothing, nowhere.’s music is so exciting he’s crafted a world of sound that’s both fresh and recognizable.”

The FADER remarked, “The new record is a stimulating blend of singing, hip-hop, and live instrumentation, all fused together with emo and alternative stylings.” nothing, nowhere.’s 2017 debut album, reaper, was met with critical praise led by the singles hopes up (Ft. Dashboard Confessional) and skully.

The album made a massive impact upon its DCD2/Equal Vision release with The New York Times’ Jon Caramanica placing it at #1 on his list of 2017’s best. reaper “synthesizes the second-wave emo of the early to mid-2000s with the rattling hip-hop low end of the last few years,” he wrote. “(reaper) is one of the most promising pop albums of the year,” Rolling Stone declared, “reaper finds him tonally evoking the glory years of 2000s emo-punk without necessarily replicating it.”

nothing, nowhere. is the musical endeavor of Vermont songwriter, singer and guitarist Joe Mulherin. For Mulherin, nothing, nowhere. is about a connection. It’s one he finds with fans around the world, who gather to see him play on tour and to listen to his songs online. It’s that connection that urges the singer to place his fears aside and step onstage each night to share his art. He sees the potential to help, to make a change, however small it may be and that is why he brings his music out of the Vermont wildness.

New Single by flor – lmho

Alt-pop band flor has released a new standalone single entitled lmho. The track marks the first new original music from the critically acclaimed quartet since their 2019 sophomore album, ley lines. lmho is available to stream and download starting today HERE via Fueled By Ramen. Watch a lyric video for the song HERE.
“lmho was written around the time come out. you’re hiding was completed. Most of my lyrics try to look at the bright side, but this song had no barriers. I was simply spilling my sadness, confusion, and heartache into our music, shared flor frontman Zach Grace. There are points in our lives where we feel completely out-of-control and stuck, and I did my best to be honest with myself and write exactly how I was feeling. Four years later, and our world is at a halt. Some of these feelings have a way of coming back again.”
Earlier this year, flor released their reimagined EP. Which features stripped-down recordings of fan-favorite tracks including unsaid, white noise, warm blood, and slow motion. Additionally, the EP includes a cover of Coldplay’s yellow featuring label-mates MisterWives. Watch the track’s official music video, which premiered on Billboard, HERE.
flor’s sophomore full-length ley lines was released in September, 2019, and is available physically and digitally HERE via Fueled By Ramen. Singles including slow motion and dancing around received praise from Nylon, Ones to Watch, and Earmilk, and were prominently featured on playlists including Today In Music on Apple Music, Brand New Music on Amazon Music, and New Music Friday on Spotify. Also, singer/guitarist Zach Grace and bassist Dylan Bauld co-produced ley lines. In addition, guitarist McKinley Kitts and drummer Kyle Hill helped over several writing sessions.
In March, flor wrapped their second US headline tour in support of ley lines. The trek followed the band’s massive Ones To Watch Presents: flor North American tour. Which saw them perform their largest sold-out headline shows to date. flor has previously supported Paramore, Hayley Kiyoko, Walk The Moon, and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness on the road.

About flor

With their nuanced songwriting and inventive sensibilities, flor use their songs to explore feelings of longing and heartache, anxiety and self-doubt. Singer/guitarist Zach Grace, bassist Dylan Bauld, guitarist McKinley Kitts, and drummer Kyle Hill alternately magnify and brighten those feelings by dreaming up an intensely cinematic take on synth-driven alt-pop. Growing up in the tiny town of Hood River, Oregon, the band pushed forward in their career by relocating to L.A. and taking on the name flor — a word that translates to flower in Portuguese. flor soon landed a deal with Fueled By Ramen, who released their debut EP Sounds in February 2016 and debut LP come out. you’re hiding in May 2017. flor released their much anticipated sophomore album ley lines on September 6, 2019 on Fueled By Ramen.

flor – reimagined pt 2

Los Angeles, CA alt-pop band flor has returned with reimagined pt 2, a collection of stripped-back recordings of ley lines opener “white noise” and come out. you’re hiding track “unsaid.” reimagined pt 2 is available to stream and download starting today here via Fueled By Ramen.

flor has also shared an accompanying visual for the songs, featuring footage captured by the band and fans on their headline tour earlier this year. Watch it here.

“I started playing ‘white noise’ every time we bumped into a piano on tour earlier this year. I wanted to dive even deeper into the vulnerability and emotion in this song, and the piano was the perfect instrument to convey those feelings,” shared flor’s Zach Grace. “When we dove into ‘unsaid’, I wanted to be transported back to high school when we were just cluelessly writing songs in McKinley’s garage. We limited ourselves to just the instruments we had on hand to capture the joy and excitement of new found creativity and exploration.”

reimagined pt 2 follows flor’s reimagined EP, which was released in February and features stripped-back recordings tracks “warm blood” and “slow motion”, and a cover of Coldplay’s “yellow” featuring labelmates Misterwives.
