Feel-good indie-pop outfit Clubhouse will join The Wombats as special guests on their Fix Yourself, Not The World Tour, which will kick off January 18 at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC and conclude at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on February 25, hitting New York, Chicago, and Nashville along the way. Today, singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist known as BAD CHILD reveals the ominous “Royalty Remix” of a previously released track in collaboration with LA-based indie-alterative artist No Love For The Middle Child through Capitol Records. You can listen HERE.

“Royalty” was originally released earlier this year as a track on BAD CHILD’s debut record Free Trial. BAD CHILD recalls on the original track, “‘Royalty’ is a song I want to scare people with, it’s about wanting too much and becoming enveloped in greed. It’s very angry and NIN inspired it heavily.” The intensity of the track is enhanced with the remixed version of the original.

Over the past three years, BAD CHILD has quietly been gathering momentum as an artist with only a handful of releases including his debut EP, Sign Up, a COVERS EP including reinterpretations of songs by Harry Styles, Bill Withers and Soundgarden plus his debut full length record Free Trial. PRATEEK KUHAD – SHEHRON KE RAAZ

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad has debuted new EP Shehron Ke Raaz. The four-track collection includes an acoustic version of Kuhad’s 2020 breakout hit “Kasoor,” and was heralded by singles “Tere Hi Hum” and the EP’s title track. Shehron Ke Raaz is available now on all streaming platforms via Elektra Records.

The artist returns his Indian roots on the project, recording in Bombay and singing in Hindi as he explores the intimate, often hidden worlds that lovers create for themselves. There’s a sweetness to his delivery that transcends language and culture, resulting in a dreamy and profoundly moving body of work that speaks to the kind of fundamentally human desires that bind us all.

The Happy Fits have released the video for the title track of their sophomore record, What Could Be Better. The new video tells the next chapter of the band’s previous visual for “Get a Job” which saw the band — Calvin Langman, Ross Monteith, and Luke Davis — enter Calvin in an area pickleball tournament and ultimately win a one-million-dollar prize. In this episode Ross and Luke revisit the tournament using a time machine they create and put things right by sabotaging the championship match after Calvin’s new wealth goes to his head.

This is the 10th and final video of the What Could Be Better video series, a project which saw The Happy Fits release a video for each track on the album, garnering over 1.4 million views.

Shortly after the release of their album What Could Be Better in 2020, The Happy Fits found themselves at a crossroads with their national tour canceled. Alternative Press, DuJour, PopMatters, Atwood Magazine and others have all signed on to champion the band’s unique, guitar-and-cello rock, with NPR asking “What Could Be Better? I honestly don’t know.” Their vividly written songs emphasize growing pains and life-changing realizations, which has helped The Happy Fits cultivate an eager and engaged fanbase who have propelled consumption rates through the roof.

Today, Motown Records’ German Queen of Soul Joy Denalane unveils her new single “The Show.”

This soulful slow-burn simmers over laidback guitar and a steady beat. It builds into a sweeping and soaring refrain backed by orchestral strings and cinematic horns. Joy’s vocal acrobatics uplift the hook as she confesses, “If my mistakes come to the surface, I’m sorry I was part of the show.”

Talking about the track, she shared, “The Show” is about that moment when kids realize, ‘After all, my parents are just as questionable and flawed as I am.’ When children become teenagers, their parents’ hero status is quite rightly questioned. I tell my children, ‘Please forgive me, that I too am only a part of the show, a part of the system and as such fallible.’ The song aims to soften the shock of that realization for the kids and help navigate them through the complexities of life.”
