GWEN STEFANI “LET ME REINTRODUCE MYSELF”

Global superstar Gwen Stefani releases her new reggae-tinged single “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” today on Interscope Records. With the release, Stefani is featured on New Music Daily on Apple Music. “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” is available now at all digital retailers.  Watch the lyric video for “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” HERE.

Stefani will debut the single with a performance on tonight’s episode of The Voice, airing at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT, where she is now in her fifth season as a coach on NBC’s four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series.

Recorded in quarantine and co-written with relentless hitmaker Ross Golan alongside rising songwriter/producer Luke Niccoli, the single finds Stefani reminding fans of what she does best: create vibrant, uplifting music that is real and honest to who she is as an artist.

“This song is a way of saying I’m back with new music. It’s a fun, lighthearted song because I got inspired and hope to bring a little bit of joy, said Stefani. “The idea was to write a song that had a bit of a nostalgic feeling to it, so I think musically it reminds you of back in the day, going back to where I started musically which was with ska and reggae. I’m still the same me but here’s something a little bit new in case you feel like hearing a little bit more of me.”

Musically, “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” is a full-circle moment, with an instrumental that nods to her roots with the ska-punk band No Doubt. Bass-heavy beats and breezy acoustic guitars course under and around her laid-back vocals, as Stefani confidently asserts her space in the modern musical universe: “In case you forgot—no, I’m not records on your shelf.” The single also offers a sly callback: “I already gave you bananas,” she sings playfully, nodding to the cheerleader chant on her 2005 Pharrell Williams-produced No. 1 hit, “Hollaback Girl.”

“Let Me Reintroduce Myself” caps off a busy year for Stefani. She had two top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with fiancé Blake Shelton, “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere.” And her holiday album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, was just reissued with two new songs, including Ryan Tedder co-write “Here This Christmas.”

A three-time GRAMMY® Award winner, Stefani, has achieved global success as, among other accomplishments, a performer, songwriter, frontwoman for ska-punk heroes No Doubt, and multi-platinum solo artist. To date, she’s sold more than 50 million units worldwide. Her 2015 solo album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. If 2020 is any indication, listeners should keep an eye out for more from Stefani soon.

MORGAN WALLEN UNLEASHES TRIPLE THREAT PREVIEW OF DANGEROUS: THE DOUBLE ALBUM

HOTLY ANTICIPATED SOPHOMORE ALBUM PRE-ORDER LIVE NOW

Big Loud Records’ CMA New Artist of the Year Morgan Wallen barrels forward full speed ahead this week, launching the pre-order for his highly-anticipated sophomore album Dangerous: The Double Album and dropping a triple shot of brand-new music today.

The trio – “Somebody’s Problem” (writers: Wallen, Rodney Clawson, Jacob Durrett, Ernest Keith Smith), “Still Goin Down” (writers: Wallen, Michael Hardy, Ryan Vojtesak), and “Livin’ The Dream” (writers: Wallen, Ben Burgess, Jacob Durrett, Michael Hardy) – continues to crack open the broad range of Wallen’s 30-track double dip.

“Somebody’s Problem” is a twisty, deceptively sweet love song, where “Still Goin Down” adds to Wallen’s collection of signature, Tennessee-pride-riddled, hometown anthems, touting the lifestyle he knows from experience. “Livin’ The Dream” is Wallen’s most self-reflective slow burner to date, gripping from the start and brutally honest.

LISTEN TO “SOMEBODY’S PROBLEM,” “STILL GOIN DOWN,” AND “LIVIN’ THE DREAM

Following fan favorites “This Bar” and “Heartless,” and current singles “More Than My Hometown” and “7 Summers,” the Joey Moi-produced trifecta of new music builds on the sonic foundation laid by Wallen’s PLATINUM #1 debut album, If I Know Me, combining modern production styles with traditional Country lyricism and instrumentation, exuding “an authenticity fans can feel” (PEOPLE).

PRE-ORDER DANGEROUS: THE DOUBLE ALBUM HERE

This weekend, Wallen is nominated for two American Music Awards, Favorite Male Artist – Country and Favorite Album Country (If I Know Me), and performed an exclusive version of his verging #1 single “More Than My Hometown” for Xfinity in celebration of the big night.

Releasing January 8, Dangerous: The Double Album is already becoming one of 2021’s most exciting new releases, with Billboard anticipating, “if Wallen’s sophomore LP sounds like ‘More Than My Hometown,’ country music is likely going to have a new superstar.”

About Nuka
New Caledonian 19-year-old producer Nuka unassuming uploaded a beat he called 4 Brylean (WayzRmx2018) to his SoundCloud page in 2018, alongside many other Siren inspired remakes and production edits he had shared. Two years later the audio had been catapulted into the limelight across the online universe of Tik Tok. In the midst of lockdown and a global pandemic, Tik Tokers around the world had gravitated towards the uplifting, hypnotic sounds of Siren music. Whilst, Jawsh685 had taken the genre mainstream with his single “Savage Love”, NUKA’s instrumental remained at the helm of the growth of the genre across Tik Tok. However, now being called the Tampa Curhat Beat – named after the initial Tik Tok uploader – the audio had been condensed into 10 seconds and paired a catchy dance to match. Undeniably one of the most used sounds on audio, NUKA’s instrumental became the soundtrack to over 23 million Tik Tok videos, boasting to over 200 billion impressions. For comparison more videos and impressions than Powfu’s “DeathBed,” Regard’s “Ride it” & Sam Fisher’s “This City” combined! While the song seemed to have reached all the ends of the earth, with various remakes of the track, claims to creation, and even a new title, NUKA was none the wiser.

BET has announced a new original documentary titled “Smoke: Marijuana + Black America,” set to premiere onWednesday, November 18th at 10pm ET/PT. Narrated and executive produced by multi-platinum rapper and entrepreneur, Nasir Nas” Jones, the two-hour special examines marijuana’s cultural, social, economic and legal impact on American society and the Black community. Told through the lens of aficionados, policy makers, advocates and innovators in the booming legal cannabis industry, SMOKE features testimony from a range of notable individuals including Senator Kamala D. Harris, Senator Cory Booker, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, Cook County, Illinois State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, Representative Barbara Lee, former NBA player and cannabis investor Al Harrington, WNBA star Cheyenne Parker, former NFL star Ricky Williams, rapper B-Real (Cypress Hill), award-winning music artist Ty Dolla $ign, son of Notorious B.I.G. C.J. Wallace, Columbia University PhD Professor Carl Hart and others.

Watch The “Smoke” Trailer Here“SMOKE” traces the fascinating and complex legacy of marijuana in the Black community. Early usage was recreational in nature, but political and racial dynamics led to the criminalization of cannabis and eventually its prohibition. America’s unjust war on drugs systematically targeted marijuana use in the Black community, resulting in racially disproportionate numbers of arrests and convictions. “SMOKE” features the voices of high-profile lawmakers, including the potential Vice President of the United States Senator Kamala D. Harris, Senator Cory Booker and Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, who are fighting to bring restorative justice to those incarcerated and others saddled with felony convictions. SMOKE also spotlights the tragic story of Corvain Cooper, a father, who is serving a life sentence for selling marijuana in the same neighborhood where legal dispensaries now operate in the open.

While the legal cannabis industry is expected to generate $30 billion in sales by 2025, only 4.3 percent of dispensaries are currently Black owned. “SMOKE” spotlights the hypocrisy of the system, highlighting the stories of pioneering African American entrepreneurs across the country, including former NBA player Al Harrington, who are fighting to own a piece of the booming legal cannabis industry currently dominated by White owned conglomerates and entrepreneurs.

“SMOKE” also dives into the controversy and stories of brave African American athletes, including former NFL star Ricky Williams, and WNBA star Cheyenne Parker, who have risked their careers by openly embracing their use of Cannabis.

“Smoke: Marijuana + Black America” is produced by Swirl Films. Nasir “Nas” Jones, Jason Samuels from BET, and Eric Tomosunas from Swirl Films serve as executive producers. Erik Parker serves as director for the documentary and Swirl Films’ Tony L. Strickland serves as co-executive producer.

Ruel – Bright Lights, Red Eyes

RUEL RELEASES NEW EP

BRIGHT LIGHTS, RED EYES OUT NOW VIA RCA RECORDS

LISTEN: Bright Lights, Red Eyes

WATCH: “courage

Ruel releases his new EP Bright Lights, Red Eyes via RCA Records. Written entirely in Paris, the EP includes his previously-released singles “as long as you care” and “say it over” featuring Cautious Clay, which PAPER said “delivers the soulful sound Ruel has come to be known for.” The EP also arrives alongside a 60’s mod-themed visualizer for “courage.” Watch it here.

Bright Lights, Red Eyes is the third release from Ruel following last year’s Free Time, which MTV described as “an accomplished reflection of Ruel’s stated influences, contemporary touchstones, and his own, growing voice,” and arrives after his collaboration with Omar Apollo released last week, “Want U Around,” which is featured on Apollo’s debut project Apolonio.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the EP, Ruel says: “I want to get across that this project is another step forward in maturity for me. Free Time was a step up from Ready, and this Bright Lights, Red Eyes EP is a step up again. This project was a stream of consciousness when I was writing it at the time, and I feel like that’s the way all projects and songs are for me. They are moments in time. This project isn’t who I am right now as I wrote these songs last year, but it’s the most mature you’ve ever heard me and it was me, in that moment in time. The songs I’m writing now will be more mature again, and I love that my fans can come on this journey with me as I grow.”

Ruel also shot over 70 pieces of content for his recently launched RuelVision, a 24-hour online television network featuring unique and fun programs starring himself, from music, cooking and karaoke, to news and lifestyle. The ambitious venture is the largest content-driven artist campaign of 2020, and a testament to Ruel’s continual drive to push creative boundaries and offer fun and unexpected content for his fans. The network is live now here.

Following that, Ruel has grand plans for his highly-anticipated debut album. He’s working closely with M-Phazes and THIEF (both of whom have nurtured Ruel since his debut single), ensuring that the full-length will be an organic affair. “It’s a lot more layered, I want each project to have more meaning and purpose,” Ruel says. “I want to reflect on something important in my life, and give across a message that if people are feeling the same way that I am, it’s okay.” It’s hard to believe, but Ruel’s story is just beginning – and the next chapter looks brighter than ever.

Listen to Bright Lights, Red Eyes and watch the visualizer for “courage” above, see EP details below, and stay tuned for more from Ruel coming soon.

About Ruel:

At a young age, Ruel’s resume reads like that of a seasoned global superstar, and the Sydney-bred, London-born vocalist is quickly becoming one of this generation’s most influential artists. With half a billion streams, over 1.4 million followers on Instagram, three sold-out world tours and five Platinum plaques under his belt, Ruel is a trailblazer who’s far exceeded the omnipresent hype and overwhelming fan frenzy that surrounds him globally. Ever since his rustic demos landed in the ears of M-Phazes back in 2015, Ruel’s ascension has been impossible to ignore, as he continues to push boundaries.

Ruel made his official debut in 2017 with “Golden Years” alongside M-Phazes, and just three months later, he became the youngest artist to ever appear on triple j’s Like A Version. His stunning reinterpretation of Jack Garratt’s “Weathered” went viral, an early indication of his cult-like fanbase and runaway success. His next single “Don’t Tell Me” further highlighted his rich vocals and defiant lyricism, catching the attention of Elton John who praised Ruel as “the most amazing voice that I’ve ever heard from a male singer at 14 years of age.”

“Don’t Tell Me” was later certified Gold, and featured on Ruel’s debut EP Ready in 2018. The project earned widespread praise from tastemaker publications including Vogue and NYLON, also producing Platinum singles “Younger” and “Dazed & Confused.” Reflecting on romance, friendship and homesickness, Ready was a display of Ruel’s instantly accessible penmanship, and a formative step in his tight-knit relationship with listeners. Ruel describes it as “a very conceptual, youthful EP. When I wrote it, I was going through the same things as my fans and I think that made it super relatable.”

Ruel was invited to perform alongside world-class talents like Khalid, also becoming the second ever Australian billed performer on Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival. Proving his ability to wow audiences in an eclectic range of environments, Ruel also performed at the Opening Ceremony of the 2018 Commonwealth Games, streaming to 1.4 billion viewers worldwide. Singing on these grandiose stages primed Ruel for his own headline tours: He’s sold out 3 world tours across America, Europe and Australia in a matter of minutes; further evidence of the profound bond he’s established with millions through music.

At the tail end of 2018, Ruel also won the Breakout Artist award at the ARIAs, becoming the youngest artist to do so. He quickly re-emerged in 2019 with single “Painkiller,” which went 2x Platinum before recruiting Denzel Curry on the remix. It served as the first taste of his sophomore EP Free Time, which showed Ruel’s progression as a sophisticated and intricate songwriter. Subsequent singles “Real Thing” and “Face To Face” also went Platinum, while Ruel spent 2019 further solidifying his live portfolio. In his hometown, he became the youngest artist to sell out the Sydney Opera House, twice.

Young Bombs & Darius Rucker – Wrong Side of Love

YOUNG BOMBS TEAM WITH SUPERSTAR DARIUS RUCKER ON COUNTRY-TINGED NEW SINGLE WRONG SIDE OF LOVE FROM DEBUT EP

The Young Bombs Show EP collects five recent heaters and the new Rucker-blessed single, listen HERE

Today, Young Bombs return with a wistful, country-tinged single featuring three-time GRAMMY Award winner Darius Rucker called Wrong Side of Love. Built around Rucker’s honeyed croon, the story of lost love is the final single from the duo’s debut EP, The Young Bombs Show, also out now on Astralwerks. Listen to the song HEREand the EP HERE. The set gathers a string of singles that have established the duo as among the dance-pop world’s most vibrant and versatile producers, including the openhearted Better Day with Aloe Blacc and the swooning, optimistic Starry Eyes.

Wrong Side of Love shows off Young Bombs at their most emotional, lending a textured arrangement to Rucker’s poignant pining for a lover who’s fallen right back in somebody else’s arms. The song starts with roiling pianos and other homey instrumentation that might feel familiar to fans of Rucker’s country singles, but from there the song soars. Rucker moves beyond his pain into anthemic whoa-ohs as the track ascends into a synthy daydream.

It’s a different look for the duo, but Wrong Side of Love is a brilliant capstone to the run of singles that make up The Young Bombs Show. Young Bombs first came to widespread acclaim as esteemed remixers, sharing upwards of 50 beloved reworks of tracks for artists like Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, and Billie Eilish, among others. Since 2019, they’ve applied the same lively production to their own original tracks, which has resulted in the colorful singles on their new EP, spanning from heavenly bangers like Starry Eyes to more sensitive, stirring tracks like the Robinson-featuring High Road.

So far, the tracks on The Young Bombs Show have amassed over 65 million streams. As these songs have traveled, so has the duo. In recent years, they’ve played Lollapalooza, Ultra, Firefly Music Festival, and the Billboard Hot 100 Festival. They’ve also shared the stage with dance music luminaries like the Chainsmokers, Alesso, Galantis, and Diplo.

In just a couple of weeks, Young Bombswill be back with a video for Wrong Side of Love, a sign that even though The Young Bombs Show is a culmination of years of hard work, they won’t be stopping anytime soon.

About Young Bombs:

In 2019, Young Bombs make the bold leap from sought-after remixers to artists. That leap remains driven by a personal and creative chemistry forged way back in the Vancouver high school where they became best friends. With nearly 100 million streams in four years, the duo of Martin and Tristan cooked up 53 remixes by 2018. Along the way, they lent their talents to everyone from Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, and Lady Gaga to Billie Eilish, Alessia Cara, Post Malone, Khalid, and Bazzi. In addition, they attracted the support of Kygo and Don Diablo. Simultaneously, they graced the stages of blockbuster festivals such as Lollapalooza, Ultra, Firefly Music Festival, and the Billboard Hot 100 Festival. Not to mention, Young Bombs supported The Chainsmokers, Galantis, Diplo, and Alesso on tour around the globe and launched a coveted residency at Drai’s Beachclub in Vancouver. The upbeat and undeniable anthem Starry Eyes, their debut Astralwerks single, introduced a musicianship-centric style reliant on real instrumentation and genre-less creativity, shining a bright light on the future.

About Darius Rucker:

Rucker first achieved multi-Platinum status in the music industry as lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the GRAMMY Award-winning band Hootie & the Blowfish. Since releasing his first Country album in 2008, he’s earned a whole new legion of fans with four No. 1 albums on the Billboard Country chart, including RIAA Platinum-certified Learn to Live and True Believers, plus nine No. 1 singles at Country radio. In 2014, Rucker won his third career GRAMMY Award for Best Solo Country Performance with his 8x Platinum version of Old Crow Medicine Show’s Wagon Wheel. His latest single, “Beers And Sunshine,” was written via a Zoom session earlier this year and calls for slowing down to enjoy the simple things in life when the world feels out of control. As a lifelong philanthropist, Rucker is a constant supporter of the MUSC Children’s Hospital in his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. He has also raised millions of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through his annual Darius & Friends benefit concert and golf tournament, as well as for more than 200 charitable causes supporting public education and junior golf programs in South Carolina through the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation. Rucker spent 2019 on the road with his Hootie & the Blowfish bandmates for the Group Therapy Tour as they celebrated the 25th anniversary of generation-defining smash Cracked Rear View in addition to the November 1 release of Imperfect Circle, their first album in nearly 15 years.

Parson James Releases Single with Visual – ‘High Tide, Low Tide’

Multi-platinum selling artist Parson James has returned today with his brand new single ‘High Tide, Low Tide,’ also marking the first release since signing to his new record label 12Tone Music.

‘HIGH TIDE, LOW TIDE’

“‘High Tide, Low Tide’ actually came about during the throes of quarantine. It’s clearly been an exceptionally odd year for everyone and personally it’s forced me to look inward and face things about myself in a way that I had never done before.” Parson James confesses. “As always, a hunter for silver linings, I am thankful for what I’ve learned during this time. The opening line of the song is “my empathy is killing me” & what I mean by that is that my empathy is always getting the best of me. I’m always trying to help others before ever helping myself and more often than not this does not work in my favor.” Read Parson James’ full interview and learn more about the inspiration behind the song in V Magazine HERE.

With his cathedral-size vocal range, confessional lyricism, sharp sense of soul, and pop ambition, South Carolina-born and Los Angeles-based platinum-certified singer and songwriter Parson James transmutes trials and tribulations into inspiration.

Now, with a new label deal and single out titled “High Tide, Low Tide,” Parson James is ready to wear his heart on his sleeve yet again, as he embarks on this next chapter. His rhythmically soulful way of storytelling permeates throughout his new music, setting the stage for Parson James to return with a style that is finally his own.

“It’s a focus on me, now. I’m at this point in my life, where I’m back at a place of total belief in myself,” he says. “I’m stoked to be able to have creative control, clarity and freedom to continue telling my story.”

Parson’s personal journey could be worthy of a novel or screenplay in and of itself. As an openly gay, bi-racial son of the South, who experienced a rocky childhood marked by racism, religion-based homophobia, addiction, and domestic abuse, James has frequently found himself drawn to trying to make sense of his past and how it has shaped his identity. Born to an African American father and Caucasian teen mom in poverty, the music of Otis Redding, Bill Withers, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley became something of a refuge throughout his childhood.

Following a whirlwind few years starting in 2015 when Parson James catapulted to the top of the charts and gained instant global fame having penned and sang on Kygo’s major hit “Stole The Show,” he simultaneously inked a major label deal, began releasing his own critically acclaimed solo music, landing on the cover of magazine’s and touring all over the world. “Stole The Show” went on to earn RIAA multi-platinum certification in North America and multi-platinum in 15 other countries, clocking more than a billion combined global streams.

Also, a staunch and outspoken advocate, he capitalized on the opportunity to give back within the LGBTQ+ community and became a board member for the LOVELOUD Foundation, and has been a regular contributor to organizations such as GLAAD, The Trevor Project and AmFAR.

Now, Parson James is back, with more experience, a new perspective and the best music he’s written to date.

Jasmine’s booming YouTube presence and captivating vocals lead to a major label deal with Atlantic Records at the age of just 13. Now 19, the singer-songwriter has enjoyed a musical growth that’s taken her from viral covers to her own ADORE, WONDERLAND and COLOUR EPs while also establishing a global fan following with featured appearances on internationally successful recordings, collectively earning more than 3 billion global streams.  She has made chart-topping appearances on a pair of global blockbuster hit singles, including her collaboration with German DJ/producer Robin Schulz on “Sun Goes Down (Feat. Jasmine Thompson)” that’s earned 1 billion worldwide streams along with a slew of international gold and platinum certifications and over 404 million views on YouTube. German DJ Felix Jaehn’s “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)” remix was another undeniable smash, earning gold and platinum certifications in a range of countries and drawing over 1 billion global streams and over 378 million individual views on YouTube.

Lil West – “Give It All Up”

LIL WEST ADDS “GIVE IT ALL UP” TO ALL DIGITAL STREAMING PLATFORMS

STREAM “GIVE IT ALL UP” HERE

MORE MUSIC COMING SOON

Today, genre-blurring boundary breaker Lil West shares “Give It All Up” with all streaming platforms via Republic Records.

Produced by Take A Daytrip [Lil Nas X, Sheck Wes, Travis Scott] and Russ Chell [Lil Nas X], the track unfolds like a hazy daydream. Echoing guitar by Chell reverberates over a sparse beat from Take A Daytrip. Meanwhile, Lil West dips in and out of woozy verses before a heartfelt hook. Waving goodbye, he croons, “I’ll feel better when I reach all my goals. Things ain’t lookin’ too good for me and you. And I’m here to lift you up and brighten your soul. And I should give it all up.”

Originally debuted on Soundcloud, the track quietly emerged as a fan favorite with over 186K plays. Now, it finally receives an official release spurned by audience demand.

Earlier this year, Lil West joined forces with Brevin Kim for the Metallic Body Language EP. Complex touted the single “Bleach” on its “Best New Music This Week.” The project also garnered looks from HotNewHipHop, Banger of the Day, Hip Hop Spirit, and more. Meanwhile, the Delaware disruptor continues to post up nearly 450K monthly Spotify listeners.

Last year, Lil West flipped the game upside down with his EP series, Vex Part 1 and Vex Part 2. He put up over 20 million streams with highlights such as “Somedays” [3.7 million Spotify streams] and “Not Sure” [2.5 million Spotify streams] from the first installment and the second installment’s “Want Love” [1.6 million Spotify streams], “Hot Sauce” [1.3 million Spotify streams], and “Bad” [1 million Spotify streams]. Meanwhile, upon the release of Part 2, HotNewHipHop claimed, “The Delaware rapper establishes himself as one of the best up and coming artists in the game.”
