Lindsey Stirling’s Official Music Video – Masquerade

Ahead of this weekend’s official launch of her cross-country headlining Artemis U.S. Tour, platinum-selling electronic artist, violinist, and multi-talented entertainer Lindsey Stirling, known all over the world for her unique, futuristic violin-driven electronic music and exquisite live show, has gifted fans with a new music video for the song “Masquerade,” off her latest chart-topping studio album Artemis. Inspired by early 20th century silent films, the new visual for the instrumental track was filmed at The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles and co-directed by Stirling and Stephen Mallett (Pentatonix, Logic, CHVRCHES). Press here to watch.

“While I was writing the song ‘Masquerade,’ I knew immediately that it would be about a wealthy over-the-top aristocratic woman,” shares Stirling. “The song has such a comedic feel to it, which made the music video really, really fun to plan and make.”

The Artemis U.S. Tour marks the first time Stirling will be performing the tracks off Artemis as well as her current single “Lose You Now” in front of an American audience. The 35-date outing, featuring special guest electro-pop artist Kiesza, kicks off this Saturday, July 3rd in Kansas City, MO and will stop in most major markets across the country including New York City (August 2nd at the Beacon Theatre), Los Angeles (August 30th at the Microsoft Theater), Denver (July 7th at Red Rocks Amphitheatre), Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Boston, Phoenix, Portland, Seattle, and many others, before wrapping September 10th in Milwaukee at Summerfest. “Lose You Now,” Stirling’s emotive pop hit about loss and grief with artist, producer, and songwriter Mako, stems from the instrumental-only track “Guardian” off her Artemis album. Since its release earlier this year, “Lose You Now” (BMG) has amassed over 9 million global streams, including over 3 million views on the song’s beautifully moving music video, as well as featured placements on American Idol and “Train Tracks” on SiriusXM The Pulse. Press here to watch the official music video for “Lose You Now.” The duo also issued an acoustic version of the song this spring, stripping it down to just piano and a full string accompaniment – Press here to listen to “Lose You Now (Acoustic).”

Artemis, Stirling’s fifth studio album released September 2019 via BMG, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and remained on the chart for 15 combined weeks. The 13-track album, which has racked up over 200 million total global streams, features the singles “Underground,” “Artemis,” “Sleepwalking,” “Between Twilight” and “The Upside” featuring Elle King along with “Love Goes On and On” featuring Amy LeeArtemis has also been turned into a successful comic book series, with the sixth edition coming this summer. Press here to listen to Artemis and press here for info on the comic books.

Formed in Derby, England, in 2012, The Struts have found themselves massively embraced by some of the greatest icons in rock-and-roll history. Along with opening for Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Guns N’ Roses, the UK-bred four-piece band was handpicked by Mötley Crüe to serve as the supporting act for their last-ever performances. Releasing their debut album Everybody Wants in 2016 and sophomore album YOUNG & DANGEROUS in 2018, they’ve toured incessantly since their formation, including worldwide headline shows and major festivals like Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and Isle of Wight. When COVID-19 brought touring to a halt, The Struts created their third album Strange Days over the course of a charmed and frenzied burst of creativity last spring. After getting tested for COVID-19, the band moved into the L.A. home of producer Jon Levine and, within just ten days, laid down nine original tracks alongside their masterful cover of a KISS B-side.

Mondo Cozmo Announces New EP

NEW YORK, NY-Summer is finally underway now that Mondo Cozmo has returned with brand new music… The critically acclaimed Philly-born and Los Angeles-based mohawked rock ‘n’ roll prophet will release his new Your Motherfucker EP on June 29 via Republic Records.

The EP follows up Mondo Cozmo’s critically acclaimed 2017 full-length debut, Plastic Soul—which housed the hits “Shine,” “Hold On To Me, and “Automatic.” It saw him perform across the country to sold out shows and even made his television debut onJimmy Kimmel Live!.

The four-track EP shows an elevated sound for Mondo Cozmo. “Tonight Tonight”(produced by John Hill (Portugal The Man), kicks off with rustling guitar that pick up into an infectious percussion. Soon, his voice takes hold, spinning a cinematic scene about “city boy blues” and “suicide queens” before the festival-ready chant, “Tonight, tonight, tonight. Elsewhere on the EP, “Your Motherfucker” sounds like the bastard child of LCD Soundsystem and Jeff Buckley, marrying glitchy dancefloor beats and evocative lyricism. That’s just the half of it though. Check out the full tracklisting below!

Your Motherfucker EP comes right in the middle of his tour with Vance Joy. The sold-out dates have run across the country and continue into mid-July- see full tour dates atwww.mondocozmo.com/tour

With this new music and a ton of touring, Mondo Cozmo is back motherfuckers…

BARNS COURTNEY RELEASES ‘GREEN AND GOLD’

With the Packers season kicking off, Packers fans and Wisconsin residents are all looking forward to seeing the team take the field in the coming weeks. This year, the excitement is spreading across the pond to British musician Barns Courtney and his band. A Packers staff member heard the up-and-coming musician’s song “Glitter and Gold” and immediately knew it would catch on with Packers fans, especially if the song was re-recorded as “Green and Gold.”

With his recent album release and North American tour, including a stop at Summerfest in Milwaukee in June and at Lollapalooza in Chicago last weekend, Courtney was happy to lend his voice and music to the energy of the coming football season.

Fans can download the “Green and Gold” version of Courtney’s song at http://barnscourtneyshop.com/products/green-gold.

“The struggles I experienced when I lost my first record deal, and the drive to succeed in the face of adversity runs parallel to the challenges in football,” said Courtney. “You need the same fire in your belly to play professionally be it in music or in sports. If I didn’t feel a personal connection to the subject matter, I wouldn’t write about it. I try to be as honest as possible in my lyrics. So with that in mind, I tried to find as many parallels as possible with the Packers’ world and my own.”

Courtney’s debut album, “The Attractions Of Youth,” will be released Sept. 29.

Billboard has said, “Barns Courtney lit up the crowd at El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles….His deep George Ezra-esque vocals with the husky Americana rhythm of Mumford & Sons, along with his attention-grabbing stage presence left no boring moments throughout the concert.” His shows are consistently recommended as picks of the week by such publications as buzzbands.la and The Dallas Observer, which noted, “His raspy vocals, genuine talent and nod to early R&B make his music a must-listen.” Listen SD observed, “Barns Courtney will make you swoon with his special brand of bluesy folk-pop. We love his song ‘Fire’ but frankly all of his songs are fire.”

The young artist has already surpassed 45 million combined streams globally – including more than 22 million streams in the U.S. “Hands,” from his debut EP, The Dull Drums, was tapped for a recent commercial while “Fire,”a Top 5 hit at Triple A radio and a Top 15 hit at Alternative, has been heard in several ads and for the FIFA 17 trailer. “Glitter & Gold” climbed to #1 on the Spotify UK Viral Chart and has been heard in promotional spots for Miller Lite and the critically acclaimed film The FounderBarns Courtneyhas opened for The Who at London’s Wembley Stadium and has also supported Ed Sheeran, Elle King, Blur, Fitz and The Tantrums, Tom Odell and The Libertines.
