Kenny Foster – Somewhere in Middle America

Rising singer-songwriter Kenny Foster has released his latest single, “Somewhere In Middle America,” available on all digital streaming platforms and digital download now. The warm-hearted track paints a picture of a rural landscape where small town folks live simple lives, learning life’s biggest lessons—a place somewhere in middle America. The title track off Kenny’s upcoming album, due out in early summer, builds a sense of community and sets the scene for the album’s other tracks to exist within.

“To help frame the record as a whole, this song is creating a sonic landscape that people can feel,” says Foster. “I wanted people that are never going to drive through Middle America to viscerally feel what it’s like to be there and for those that live there, I wanted to create something that resonated, sort of a nod, an ‘if-you-know-you-know’ situation.”

Taken from the pages of Kenny’s own story, “Somewhere In Middle America” explores the often overlooked and unpolished way of life in America’s heartland. The song illustrates the humble, yet wonderfully colorful, tapestry that is Middle America—eggs on the griddle, prom kings alongside Dairy Queens, sage wisdom from porch swing prophets, and a culture where having just enough was all you needed—for Kenny, this is home.

About Kenny Foster

Kenny Foster has shared the stage with artists including Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Brothers Osborne, Old Dominion, Patty Griffin, Buddy Miller, Butch Walker, Lady A, and countless others. He was named one of the “Top 10 New Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone and has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, and Forbes. He has appeared in two Super Bowl commercials with Sheryl Crow and Danica Patrick, respectively. Kenny is also honored to be included in the CMA Foundation “It Starts with M.E.” National Campaign for Music Education and performed as part of the CMA Songwriters Series, alongside songwriting legends Lori McKenna, Marcus Hummon, Lee Thomas Miller, and Tenille Townes. Kenny has performed at the highly-acclaimed C2C Festival in London, and was also invited to perform at the launch of C2C Berlin and at the famed Melkweg venue in Amsterdam as support for Hunter Hayes, as well as recent domestic festival appearances at the ACM Party for a Cause, Americanafest and CMA Fest, among others. Kenny headlined an Armed Forces tour to Asia, performing at bases in Guam, Singapore and Diego Garcia.

Kenny is a long-time partner with the non-profit organization CreatiVets who pair Nashville songwriters with veterans to create a song out of their experiences that tells their story and hopefully provides some catharsis and healing. They released an album of these songs on Big Machine Records called “Veteran Songs” on July 4th, 2020 which included “Light Like Mine” co-written and performed by Foster. Additionally, Kenny hosted 32 episodes of a weekly online series called “Kuarantine with Kenny” for Sound of Nashville, featuring guests like Cam, Drake White, Lindsay Ell, and many others. Over this last year, Kenny has also released a series of singles called “The Vintage Collection” which are a culmination of demos of songs that, to this point, have only been heard at live shows but have included some fan favorites, including a duet with Mae Estes “Love You Now” (Co-written with Kirsti Manna of Blake Shelton’s “Austin”), “Lonely Land” (Co-written with Mando Saenz and Chris Rafetto) and “It Don’t Work Like That” (Co-written with Melissa Fuller).

Lauren Jenkins MILES ON ME PART 1 EP cover from Emily Ginsberg, Big Hassle Media for use by 360 Magazine

LAUREN JENKINS EP – MILES ON ME PART 1

“I will always be proud of my first record,” says Lauren Jenkins, “but MILES ON ME is what I hoped NO SAINT could be from start to finish.” MILES ON ME (told in three parts) picks up where NO SAINT left off, telling the unapologetic, brutally honest next chapter of Jenkins’ story.

In 2020 Jenkins and her then-record label parted ways, giving her an independence that she hadn’t had in nearly seven years. “I finally had the freedom to write, record, produce and tell my story exactly the way I wanted to,” she says. “It’s strange to hear your own voice and realize you’ve been whispering for a long time. With this realization, the sparks ignited. I called on my friends and collaborators to make this record with me, and it’s been one of the most beautiful processes of my life.”

Jenkins has been a touring artist since she was 15 years old. The Texas-born, Carolina-raised artist chose a life that would fit perfectly in the songs she writes: across countless smoky bars, fake IDs, and endless miles on the road, music has been her one constant companion. Named an “Artist to Watch” by the New York Times, Billboard, Rolling Stone, Pandora, and many more, she was also chosen as a member of the “Class of 2019” by influential radio DJ Bobby Bones, and made her TODAY Show debut as Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month. An accomplished actress and filmmaker, Lauren wrote, produced, and starred in an original short film titled Running Out of Road that accompanied the release of her critically-acclaimed debut album, NO SAINT, on Big Machine Records. In May of 2020, she released “Ain’t That Hard,” her first song as a fully independent artist.

Today, award-winning globally renowned electronic music producer NETSKY shares a new club anthem “Ice Cold” [feat. David Guetta] via Republic Records and Casablanca Records. Get it HERE. Watch official visualizer HERE.

“Ice Cold” opens the duality of upcoming Palmtrees & Powerlines, the two-part project that explores both NETSKY’s magnetic brand of pop music (on Palmtrees) and his genre-bending innovation as a creator of club tracks (onPowerlines). “Ice Cold”, with its dancefloor vibes, finds its home in Powerlines, where previously released “Téquila Limonada” feat. A.CHAL, aligns with Palmtrees. Each song from Palmtrees & Powerlines will find a place within one of these two worlds NETSKY has built.

About their “Ice Cold” collaboration, Guetta excitedly said, “Working with NETSKY on this track was amazing. He’s such a great producer, and I’m really happy with the end result.

NETSKY recently produced two cuts on the Guetta’s recent album 7, including “Light Headed” [feat. Sia] and “Battle” [feat. Faouzia].

“’Ice Cold’ was such a fun song to make.” NETSKY adds about the new song, “I remember both Stargate and David Guetta making me crank up this demo in a LA studio and all of us vibing to it together. Working with David was amazing, it was inspiring seeing his work routine and energy in studio and I’m so excited to be releasing this single today.”

Stay tuned for more to come from Palmtrees & Powerlines.

Jeremy Zucker

“Icy, minimal but tuneful electronic pop” – The New York Times

“glisten reflects Zucker’s dedication to creating music that echoes what’s happening during his life at a given moment.” – Billboard

[Of “comethru”] “Zucker’s smooth vocals glide over bright strums of a guitar as he sings about his summer on the mellow track.” – COMPLEX

[Of “better off”] “The 21-year-old takes it to the next level…a finely-wrought duet
with fellow Next Big Thing Chelsea Cutler.” – Idolator

Multi-talented, Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter and producer Jeremy Zucker unveils his latest single “thinking 2 much” today—listen here. “thinking 2 much” and Zucker’s recently released single “comethru” are taken from his upcoming EP summer, set for release on September 28th.

Zucker just kicked off his first-ever North American headline tour, the “anything, anywhere tour,” of which 21 of the 23 shows sold out in advance of the tour. See the full list of dates below.

Growing up in suburban New Jersey, 22-year-old singer, songwriter and producer Jeremy Zucker has always been surrounded by music. As a child, he took piano and guitar lessons and formed a band with two friends from elementary school. By high school, he was writing lyrics and producing songs for other people. Eventually, Zucker recorded a rough demo, which became his first real release beach island in the summer of 2015. He followed it with breathe in the fall of that same year as a freshman at Colorado College pursuing a degree in Molecular Biology. He cranked out songs in his dorm room and released them over Soundcloud—one every week. He later transferred them over to Spotify, where breathe’s lead single “Bout It” became the catalyst, hitting Spotify’s Discover Weekly playlist.

From there Zucker released motions in 2017 and performed at his first sold-out show at The Studio of Webster Hall that summer. Following the massive streaming success of his 2017 single “talk is overrated” featuring blackbear, 2018’s intensely personal EP glisten delivered the groundbreaking song “all the kids are depressed,” the first widespread glimpse into Zucker’s songwriting ethos. The track has over 30 million Spotify streams to date and its powerful video, directed by Drew Kirsch (Felix Jaehn, blackbear, Louis the Child, Quinn XCII), has over 5 million views to date. In May, he graduated from Colorado College and put his degree aside to finally pursue his dream of making music. As Zucker enters this next phase of his career, he brings a new love letter to life that fans will undoubtedly connect with. “comethru” and “thinking 2 much” set the stage for further music from Jeremy Zucker in 2018.
