THE FUTURE OF ROCK MUSIC THE WARNING UNVEIL NEW SINGLE “CHOKE”
OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW
BAND TO BE INTERVIEWED BY MATT PINFIELD TONIGHT FOR ROLLING LIVE STUDIOS VIRTUAL IN-STORE EVENT AT 8:30PM EST
After amassing 65 million-plus views and over 10 million streams independently, the Monterrey Mexico hard rock trio of sisters The Warning unleash a new single entitled “CHOKE” today via LAVA/Republic Records.
On the single “CHOKE” and working with legendary rock producer David Bendeth (Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, Breaking Benjamin) the band said: “CHOKE is a song about drowning in your feelings and coming to terms with them. Recording it with David Bendeth (while in quarantine!) was an incredible experience and he really worked with us to bring the song to life.”
The music video was directed by Gabo Ramos and concept was worked on in tandem meticulously with Dany, Pau, Ale, The Warning team along with the director. Surrounded by experts in every field from wardrobe, hair, makeup, art design, lighting design and underwater crew the video was shot in one day.
The track illuminates the intense chemistry between these three sisters Daniela “Dany” [guitar, lead vocals, piano], Paulina “Pau” [drums, vocals, piano], and Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal [bass, piano, backing vocals]. Dany’s hypnotic vocals bleed into thunderous distortion as the groove tosses and turns on a dime. Their pummeling proficiency drives the track towards a massive and magnetic hook meant to be chanted in arenas worldwide.
At 5:30pm PST / 8:30pm EST on May 21, the band will be celebrating the new release with a virtual in-store event hosted by Rolling Live Studios. For the event, the band will be interviewed by the legendary Matt Pinfield virtually from Mexico. Fans can watch live HERE.

About The Warning
The Warning infuse rock music with a much-needed shot of adrenaline. The Monterrey, Mexico trio of sisters—Daniela “Dany” [guitar, lead vocals, piano], Paulina “Pau” [drums, vocals, piano], and Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal [bass, piano, backing vocals]—charge forward with head-spinning riffs, unpredictable rhythms, stadium-size beats, and skyscraping vocals. They stand out as the rare presence equally at home on network television and on stage at Heaven & Hell Festival. If anybody can usher rock’s comeback along, it’s these three ladies. After exploding online with one viral moment after another, The Warning parlayed this momentum into a series of independent releases, including Escape the Mind EP , XXI Century Blood , and Queen of the Murder Scene . They graced a stacked bill at Mother of All Rock Festival as the only Mexican band and opened up two sold out Monterrey shows for The Killers and for Def Leppard in Mexico City and Guadalajara. After quietly amassing over 120 million YouTube views and 10 million streams, they surge to the forefront of hard rock on their LAVA Records single debut, “CHOKE”, out spring 2021.
