Lindsey Stirling’s Official Music Video – Masquerade

Ahead of this weekend’s official launch of her cross-country headlining Artemis U.S. Tour, platinum-selling electronic artist, violinist, and multi-talented entertainer Lindsey Stirling, known all over the world for her unique, futuristic violin-driven electronic music and exquisite live show, has gifted fans with a new music video for the song “Masquerade,” off her latest chart-topping studio album Artemis. Inspired by early 20th century silent films, the new visual for the instrumental track was filmed at The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles and co-directed by Stirling and Stephen Mallett (Pentatonix, Logic, CHVRCHES). Press here to watch.

“While I was writing the song ‘Masquerade,’ I knew immediately that it would be about a wealthy over-the-top aristocratic woman,” shares Stirling. “The song has such a comedic feel to it, which made the music video really, really fun to plan and make.”

The Artemis U.S. Tour marks the first time Stirling will be performing the tracks off Artemis as well as her current single “Lose You Now” in front of an American audience. The 35-date outing, featuring special guest electro-pop artist Kiesza, kicks off this Saturday, July 3rd in Kansas City, MO and will stop in most major markets across the country including New York City (August 2nd at the Beacon Theatre), Los Angeles (August 30th at the Microsoft Theater), Denver (July 7th at Red Rocks Amphitheatre), Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Boston, Phoenix, Portland, Seattle, and many others, before wrapping September 10th in Milwaukee at Summerfest. Of her cover, Lyn says, “I covered this song on TikTok about a year ago, and it blew up like crazy. I think over 400k videos were posted with my cover, and a ton of my followers were asking for me to put it on streaming platforms, so I did! It’s such a beautiful song and so pretty with the ukulele, and after a year it’s still just as pretty.”

Lyn recently released a cover of Billie Eilish’s “Your Power,” which resulted in a co-sign from the artist herself, who commented on the video: “this is so beautiful.” Watch the video HEREJungkook from BTS also recently added Lyn’s debut single “Producer Man” to his “Favorite Tracks” playlist on Spotify—see HERE.

“When She Loved Me” sets the stage for more new music to come from the 18-year-old singer and songwriter this summer. The cover follows her latest single “Itsy Bitsy” released earlier this year—watch the official video HERE. The song, a spin on the classic children’s nursery rhyme “Itsy Bitsy Spider,” illustrates Lyn’s rapid progression as a songwriter and artist. E! Online hailed it as “an exciting alt-pop release from a very promising new talent,” and Refinery29 praised it saying, “a classic nursery rhyme gets a haunting Gen-Z makeover.”

Lyn Lapid has affirmed herself as a star on the rise for 2021. “Producer Man” emerged as “the most-viewed unreleased demo on a TikTok video in 2020. The song morphed from a viral TikTok clip into a phenomenon, as the original demo eclipsed over 70 million views and 8 million likes on the app. To date, the official release—produced by Dan Nigro [Olivia Rodrigo, Conan Gray, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lewis Capaldi, Sky Ferreira, Empress Of]—has racked up over 40 million global streams and 6 million YouTube views on the music video. Attracting widespread tastemaker praise, Rolling Stone claimed, “The fully produced version evokes early Nineties coffee-house soul gussied up with modern drum programming and ghostly electronic harmonies, while Idolator rightfully predicted it “is certain to make big waves.

Fearless (Taylor’s Version)

BIGGEST FIRST-WEEK DEBUT OF 2021 & BIGGEST FEMALE COUNTRY STREAMING WEEK EVER!

LISTEN TO FEARLESS (TAYLOR’S VERSION) HERE

Returning to #1 around the world and breaking numerous records, Taylor Swift has made history yet again with Fearless (Taylor’s Version). Notably, she’s the first woman with three new No. 1 albums in less than a year. Moving over 1 million units worldwide, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) logged the “biggest first week debut of any album this year,” “the biggest first week debut for a country album since 2015” and “the biggest female country streaming week ever. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is the only No. 1 album of its kind: a re-recording of an artist’s (own or another’s) previously released album.

Generating 50 million-plus streams on release day, it also achieved “the biggest first day streaming debut for any album on Spotify this year” and marked her fourth consecutive album to exceed 50 million Spotify streams in 24 hoursFearless (Taylor’s Version) also becomes the first country album by a female artist to reach #1 on Apple Music’s US Albums chart.

In addition to capturing #1 on the Billboard Top 200, #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart and #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, it went #1 in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. It debuted Top 5 in Belgium, Norway and the Netherlands and in Germany it was the biggest debut by a country album in the history of Germany’s album chart. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) charted at #1 on the iTunes Top Overall Albums Chart in 61 countries.

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) stands out as Taylor’s 4th #1 album in less than two years with the “3 biggest debuts since July 2020” with folkloreevermore, and Fearless (Taylor’s Version). It also emerges as “the biggest female country album debut since the inception of the Billboard Top 200 album-based conception charts in 2014.” Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is the eleven-time GRAMMY Award-winning, record-breaking superstar’s 9th #1 Album.

Taylor entered rarified air across the pond as Fearless (Taylor’s Version) became her 3rd album to chart #1 during its debut week in less than a year in the UK. The Beatles had previously accomplished this incredible feat the fastest in 364 days, but Taylor eclipsed the speed of The Fab Four as she reached this benchmark and accumulated three #1’s in just 259 days—a difference of 105 days.

Not only did it become her 7th #1 in the country, but Taylor became “the first and only solo artist ever to claim three UK #1 albums in less than 12 months during the 21st century” and “the first ever international artist and first ever female artist to land three #1 albums in the UK within one year in history.”

Physical sales of Fearless (Taylor’s Version) outsold the remaining combined total physical sales of the UK Top 15. The permanent downloads also bested the remaining combined total permanent downloads of the Top 70. She shattered her own record for the second time in the last year as “the first and only female artist to garner 7 #1 studio albums in the UK this century. Additionally, she has gathered “the 3rd Most #1 albums in the UK by a female artist.

Down Under, Taylor is now “the first artist to release three #1 albums in a 12-month period in Australia.” Taylor is the first artist to have three different albums top the ARIA Charts in a twelve-month period. She bests her own record of “the shortest span of #1 albums in Australia” with only 17 weeks between evermore and Fearless (Taylor’s Version). Her previous record was 20 weeks between folklore and evermore. With eight total #1 albums in Australia, she is second for “female artist with most #1 albums” only behind Madonna and just behind Eminem for “most consecutive #1 albums.” At radio, “Mr. Perfectly Fine (Taylor’s Version)” bows in the Top 10 on the Airplay Chart.

  • A Rating” – The A.V. Club, Saloni Gajjar
  • “5/5 Stars” – The Daily Telegraph, Neil McCormick
  • “Fearless was always an exceptionally fine album of country-pop songs, detailing the romantic fixations of a wholesome teenage American girl on the verge of adulthood, and guess what? It still is.” – The Daily Telegraph, Neil McCormick
  • “4/5 Stars” – Rolling Stone, Jonathan Bernstein
  • “Her thirtysomething voice is richer, deeper, and more sure of itself.” – Rolling Stone, Jonathan Bernstein

  • “Taylor’s vocals are undeniably stronger, smoother, and more connected than ever.” – Buzzfeed, Ryan Schocket
  • “The vault songs are making everyone question why the album wasn’t 27 tracks long to begin with.” – Buzzfeed, Ellie Bate
  • “Taylor Swift’s Fearless Re-Recording Is a Thrilling Timewarp.” – SPIN, Bobby Olivier
  • “4/5 Stars” – i Newspaper, Sarah Carson
  • “There are lyrics throughout Taylor Swift’s breakthrough record Fearless that nearly 13 years later, feel prophetic.” – i Newspaper, Sarah Carson
  • “There’s something really special about listening to Taylor sing these songs knowing the huge distance between where she is now and who she was when she wrote them.” – TIME, Annabel Gutterman
  • “I love that this re-recorded album is essentially a love letter to being a teenage girl. The world still dismisses teenage girls as not serious enough, too dramatic, and overall too much. Adolescence is often looked back on with embarrassment and shame. But these songs make me want to give my former 14-year-old self a hug and tell her she was doing just fine.” – TIME, Samantha
  • “It’s really a triumph of self-knowledge and self-awareness, in the way that Swift is so hyper-conscious of the ways she’s matured that she has the ability to un-mature before our very ears.” – Variety, Chris Willman
  • “Has there been a greater pop single in the 20th century than “You Belong With Me”? Probably not.” – Variety, Chris Willman
  • “It would not be surprising if, as we speak, Big Machine was putting a combined team of scientists and lawyers on the case of the new album’s waveform readouts, to make sure it’s not just the original album, remixed. Honestly, it’s that close.” – Variety, Chris Willman
  • “4/5 Stars” – NME, Hannah Mylrea
  • “‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ both celebrates and stays true to Swift’s ‘Fearless’-era.” – NME, Hannah Mylrea

  • “Taylor Swift’s Fearless album proves her songs were written to last.” – The Independent, Roisin O’Connor
  • “We can’t help but be impressed…” – Evening Standard, David Smyth
  • “Taylor Swift has taken control.” – Forbes, Abigail Freeman
  • “ALBUM OF WEEK: The real treats are the extra tracks, previously unreleased outtakes from the Fearless sessions. Maren Morris duets on the gorgeous You All Over Me, Keith Urban crops up and Mr Perfectly Fine is the banger that should have shown 13 years ago why country alone could never contain Swift’s talent.” – The Sunday Times, Lisa Verrico
  • “I immediately went to the chorus of “Fifteen,” one of my 2000s pop high-water marks, to see if I’d get chills. Good news: I did. Felt that gut punch during “White Horse.” “You Belong With Me” had that crucial air of resignation.” – The New York Times, Jon Caramanica
  • “As she dives back into her past work, it’s another reminder of what she brought to the genre — and what it lost when she moved on.” – The Washington Post, Emily Yahr
  • “The redone tracks from the original release, which make up the album’s first portion, are almost uniformly better than their forebears: warmer, crisper, more clearly enunciated. They sound newer and, at the same time, more lived-in.” – The Washington Post, Allison Stewart
  • “Taylor Swift releases a ‘perfect replica’ of Fearless.” – BBC, Mark Savage
  • “Damn, this album holds up – not only to the hype of its initial release, but despite that, beyond that.” – Consequence of Sound, Katie Moulton
  • “8/10” – The Line of Best Fit, Ross Horton
  • “4/5 Stars” – The Times, Will Hodgkinson
  • “Swifties grab your tissues, the release of Taylor Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is finally here in all its nostalgic and emotional glory.” – Wonderland, Staff Writer
  • “8/10” – Clash, Lucy Harbron
  • “Like a restored photograph brightening from black and white into colour, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is the same, but better.” – Clash, Lucy Harbron
  • “It’s the latest evidence that Swift is not just fearless but also relentless.” – Stereogum, Chris DeVille
  • “8/10” – Gigwise, Kelsey Barnes
  • “Swift is creating a bridge between two worlds; one where she’s merging older, timeless songs with a mature voice and outlook.” – Gigwise, Kelsey Barnes
  • “4/5 Stars” – The Evening Standard, David Smyth
  • “A masterclass in classic Nashville songwriting, from the searing melodrama of Love Story to the breakdown of a relationship in Breathe.” – The Times, Will Hodgkinson

About Playboi Carti

In just a few short years, rapper Playboi Carti has amassed millions of streams worldwide, with a global appeal that has steadily placed him within the upper echelon of new stars. The Atlanta native first started his career in high school under the name Sir Cartier. Raised on a cross-section of soulful Pop greats like Prince and Michael Jackson mixed with Trap stars like Jeezy and Gucci Mane, Carti found his own voice, securing local buzz with tracks like “YUNGXANHOE” and “Lost.” He graduated high school and was bound for the Bronx, where connecting with the A$AP Mob became fortuitous as he later forged a bond with leader A$AP Rocky and became a de-facto Mob affiliate. A series of viral hits followed—from “Broke Boi” to “Fetti”—as Carti later inked a deal with Interscope Records and dropped his eponymous mixtape in 2017. The project featured the single “Magnolia,” as its meteoric rise garnered over 600 million cumulative streams with cosigns from Beyoncé and features on series like Atlanta. The following year, Carti dropped his debut album Die Lit, debuting at Number 3 on the Billboard 200, boasting collaborations like Lil Uzi Vert on “Shoota,” “Poke It Out” with Nicki Minaj, “Love Hurts” with Travis Scott and many more. In April of 2020, Playboi Carti returned with “@MEH,” cracking the 80 million mark already in streams. With a constant string of hits, Playboi Carti doesn’t miss.

Lil Baby Performing at Grammy’s

PERFORMING ON THE 63rd ANNUAL GRAMMY’S

AIRING SUNDAY, MARCH 14, 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT ON CBS

NOMINATED FOR TWO GRAMMY AWARDS:

BEST RAP SONG AND BEST RAP PERFORMANCE FOR THE BIGGER

The Recording Academy announced that Lil Baby will perform at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. The Awards will air on Sunday, March 14th, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS Television Network from the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown LA.

Lil Baby has been one of the most dominant and critically acclaimed names in rap since his first release in 2017. In February 2020, he released My Turn, which entered The Billboard 200 at #1, hovered in the Top 5 for 14 weeks, and then returned to the #1 selling album of any genre in 2020.

Lil Baby is as authentic as they come. At just 26 years old, he is unapologetically himself, speaking his truth in his lyrics and that connects him to listeners like no other. Last June as the nation protested, Lil Baby dropped a powerful record “The Bigger Picture”; articulating frustration, confusion, and a call to stand up for something much bigger than himself.

My Turn held 14 records simultaneously on The Billboard Hot 100 and Lil Baby has recently surpassed musical titans Prince and Paul McCartney among others in Billboard Hot 100 hits in his young 3-year career. To date, Baby’s catalog reached 22 billion global streams, scored 8 #1 songs at Urban Radio, won the BET Award for Best New Artist, named Vevo’s Top Performing Hip-Hop Artist of 2020, named MVP on Rap Caviar, and won the top award of Global Artist of the Year at the Apple Music Awards. The Bigger Picture was nominated for two Grammy’s (Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song). He has seen widespread critical acclaim from the likes of GQ and Vanity Fair and has graced the covers of Rolling Stone and NME. With such a rapid rise and a relentless stream of critical and commercial hits, it’s clear that Lil Baby is one of the greatest modern success stories in hip-hop.

DJ Mike Mago – On Repeat

DUTCH DJ MIKE MAGO RELEASES IRRESISTIBLE ON REPEAT EP

EP Includes New Track Eyes On Me (with TCTS) Featuring Anabel Englund

Listen to On Repeat HERE

Watch Eyes On Me Visualizer HERE

Today, Dutch DJ and producer Mike Magoreleases his new EP, On Repeat, an infectious collection of intricately arranged dance tracks via Astralwerks. Listen HERE. New single Eyes on Me, with English producer TCTS and singer Anabel Englund, brings dizzying sizzle to the diverse set, which includes known heaters Recognise, Sun Keeps Rising Up, and On Repeat. Watch Eyes On Me visualizer HERE. Eyes on Me wraps Englund’s dreamy vocals in a shimmery instrumental and an insistent bassline the song feels like it’s floating, but at high speed. On Repeat’s previously released tracks are similarly adventurous and have collectively amassed over 4 million combined global streams across DSPs. Recognise winds swirling synths around a powerful vocal about the ways people change. Sun Keeps Rising Up is a soulful, ecstatic house cut built around the emotive Jodie Abacus’s emotive coo. On Repeat is a love song about a crush you just canߣt get out of your head. As the title suggests, the EP invites repeated listens. Mike Mago says, I’m super proud and happy with how this EP turned out, especially with the new track ‘Eyes On Me. When TCTS and I made the track, we knew it was a heater, but Anabel’s take on it gave it a whole new dimension and the track really leveled up.

On Repeat is a typically irresistible release for Mago, who’s built a career treading the line between underground dance sounds and pop’s sugary bliss. Earlier this year, he shared a remix of Halsey’s You Should Be Sad, which joins a robust collection of reworks for artists as varied as Ellie Goulding, Avicii, Clean Bandit, Bastille, Tiesto, and Charli XCX. The singles collected via On Repeat, which have come out over the course of the last few months, have garnered placements on a number of beloved Spotify playlists including New Dance Revolution and the UK’s New Music Friday. Mike Mago’s stayed busy over the course of 2020, and, if On Repeat is any indication, there’s only more dance floor brilliance to come.

ON REPEAT TRACKLIST:

1. On Repeat (with Kelli-Leigh)

2. Recognise

3. Sun Keeps Rising Up (ft. Jodie Abacus)

4. Eyes On Me (with TCTS) ft. Anabel Englund

ABOUT MIKE MAGO:

As dance music continues to evolve, Mike Mago is one of the best examples of how diverse its artists can be. His feet planted in both underground house music and mainstream sounds, he has earned worldwide support from DJs and radio alike. Outlines, his 2014 breakthrough collaboration with Dragonette, has racked up more than 25 million streams on Spotify and over 12 million YouTube views. It is 2x Platinum in The Netherlands and has been certified Gold in Italy and Canada. His follow-up hits have included Deeper Love, Secret Stash (with Dragonette), One In A Trillion (with DIRTY RADIO) and Feels So Good. Billboard said, Feels So Good is a funky house tune with more groove than a vinyl record. With over 32 million Spotify streams, Remedy (with Tom Ferry, ILY) is his biggest track to date. Mago’s massive remix of Halsey’s You Should Be Sad was just released last month. Listen HERE.

He has also done official remixes for Ellie Goulding, Avicii, Clean Bandit, Bastille, Charli XCX and many others. Equally at ease at working an underground dancefloor and rocking a mainstage, Mago has played festivals such as Tomorrowland and TomorrowWorld, the Ibiza isle and clubs around the world.

ABOUT ASTRALWERKS:

Established in 1993 in New York City, Astralwerks was the brainchild of Caroline Records staffers who saw an opportunity for a label focused on the nascent electronic and ambient scene. As a testament to its pioneering approach, Astralwerks has amassed 30 GRAMMY nominations, taken home six GRAMMY Awards and had historic releases from the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Swedish House Mafia, Halsey, Porter Robinson, Phoenix, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim and many others. The label has also released such massive singles as the 5x Platinum Happier by Marshmello + Bastille and FISHER’s Losing It.

James Bay

James Bay – Chew On My Heart

Today, three-time Grammy-nominated and BRIT Award-winning multiplatinum singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist James Bay shares an acoustic version of his latest single “Chew On My Heart.”

“Chew On My Heart” continues to make waves. It vaulted to the Top 40 of Hot AC and Triple A, gathered nearly 9 million global streams, and entered rotation at BBC Radio 1. Rolling Stone noted it as a “Song You Need to Know” and wrote, “If ‘Chew On My Heart’ is any indication of what his forthcoming album is going to sound like, it seems like the musician is taking his sound in a more positive direction.

In talking about the song, Bay noted, “‘Chew On My Heart’ is a great example of releasing something positive about myself publicly for the first time,” he reveals. “It’s an outpouring of love, and that’s a huge theme across this new music. When I come home from tour, I burst through the door and throw my arms around my girl, and she’ll just say, ‘Okay, relax, cool’,” he laughs. “It’s cheesy, but I wrote it from that perspective. It’s the opposite of being guarded.”

Bay has remained busy during quarantine. Recently, James performed a virtual concert on YouTube in support of #SaveOurVenues, the UK crowd fundraiser started to protect music venues at risk for permanent closure due to COVID-19. In addition, James performed “Chew On My Heart” on The TODAY Show and the first full band performance of the song on Mahogany Sessions. Stay tuned for Bay’s upcoming album and tune into his free guitar lessons via Instagram Live on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Catfish And The Bottlemen Release New Song “Fluctuate”

Today, Catfish and The Bottlemen share a brand new song “Fluctuate.”

LISTEN HERE

The second new track from their upcoming album The Balance [out April 26 on Capitol Records], “Fluctuate” aired for the very first time today on long-time supporter Zane Lowe’s World Record on Apple Music’s Beats 1 and is now available as an instant download for fans who pre-order the album.

Before its official release, Catfish and the Bottlemen performed “Fluctuate” live throughout summer 2018 as a preview of new music to come, and the song quickly became a fan-favorite. Audiences can expect to hear more new tracks from The Balance during the band’s upcoming U.S. headline tour which kicks off March 12. Less than an hour after going on sale, their show at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, NY on April 3 sold out. Tickets for the remaining shows are available HERE, and full routing can be found below.

“When I’m writing a new song, the audience is all I really see. I get a vision of them in my head before I properly hear the melody or anything like that,” explains front man Van McCann. “If we put three or four of these songs in the set, it’s going to be so strong. This run of shows we have coming up is just perfect timing, getting the chance to play new songs that go hand in hand with a wild night out.”

“Fluctuate” follows the band’s January single release: “Longshot,” which has amassed over 12.8 million global streams and is rapidly climbing Alternative radio charts. The song also scored Catfish and the Bottlemen their highest UK singles chart placing to date. Together with a string of sold-out UK arena dates, the wild reception to their first new music since 2016’s gold-certified The Ride brings renewed attention to the phenomena of the band’s unassailable ascent in the company of a youthful, ever-growing family of fans.

In the breaks between their electrifying outdoor and festival shows, McCann (vocals, guitars), Johnny Bond (guitars), Robert “Bob” Hall (drums), and Benji Blakeway (bass) recorded The Balance over a 12-month period in the company of Irish producer, Jacknife Lee. It was recorded in two, secluded studios; Grouse Lodge, in Moate, Republic of Ireland, and The Chapel in the countryside of East Lincolnshire. The album was mixed by Craig Silvey.
