Lindsey Stirling’s Official Music Video – Masquerade

Ahead of this weekend’s official launch of her cross-country headlining Artemis U.S. Tour, platinum-selling electronic artist, violinist, and multi-talented entertainer Lindsey Stirling, known all over the world for her unique, futuristic violin-driven electronic music and exquisite live show, has gifted fans with a new music video for the song “Masquerade,” off her latest chart-topping studio album Artemis. Inspired by early 20th century silent films, the new visual for the instrumental track was filmed at The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles and co-directed by Stirling and Stephen Mallett (Pentatonix, Logic, CHVRCHES). Press here to watch.

“While I was writing the song ‘Masquerade,’ I knew immediately that it would be about a wealthy over-the-top aristocratic woman,” shares Stirling. “The song has such a comedic feel to it, which made the music video really, really fun to plan and make.”

The Artemis U.S. Tour marks the first time Stirling will be performing the tracks off Artemis as well as her current single “Lose You Now” in front of an American audience. The 35-date outing, featuring special guest electro-pop artist Kiesza, kicks off this Saturday, July 3rd in Kansas City, MO and will stop in most major markets across the country including New York City (August 2nd at the Beacon Theatre), Los Angeles (August 30th at the Microsoft Theater), Denver (July 7th at Red Rocks Amphitheatre), Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Boston, Phoenix, Portland, Seattle, and many others, before wrapping September 10th in Milwaukee at Summerfest. See below for full list of tour dates. Visit Lindsey Stirling’s website for all ticketing details including special VIP packages that are also available. Press here to watch the official promo video “First Tour In Forever.”

Stirling has also launched a national contest with Fandiem for the ultimate VIP experience at her San Diego show on August 31st. The winner will receive roundtrip airfare for two plus two-night hotel stay, premium reserved seats in the first 8 rows, meet & greet photo opportunity with Lindsey, lunch at Lindsey’s favorite restaurant, merch, and more, along with a 45-minute helicopter tour of San Diego courtesy of Imagine Jets. Proceeds from entry donations will support Stirling’s nonprofit charity outreach program The Upside Fund, helping families and individuals affected by Covid-19. Press here to enter.

“Lose You Now,” Stirling’s emotive pop hit about loss and grief with artist, producer, and songwriter Mako, stems from the instrumental-only track “Guardian” off her Artemis album. Since its release earlier this year, “Lose You Now” (BMG) has amassed over 9 million global streams, including over 3 million views on the song’s beautifully moving music video, as well as featured placements on American Idol and “Train Tracks” on SiriusXM The Pulse. Press here to watch the official music video for “Lose You Now.” The duo also issued an acoustic version of the song this spring, stripping it down to just piano and a full string accompaniment – Press here to listen to “Lose You Now (Acoustic).”

Artemis, Stirling’s fifth studio album released September 2019 via BMG, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and remained on the chart for 15 combined weeks. The 13-track album, which has racked up over 200 million total global streams, features the singles “Underground,” “Artemis,” “Sleepwalking,” “Between Twilight” and “The Upside” featuring Elle King along with “Love Goes On and On” featuring Amy LeeArtemis has also been turned into a successful comic book series, with the sixth edition coming this summer. Press here to listen to Artemis and press here for info on the comic books.

His illustrious career has taken him on tour around the world, many times over, and placed him in the top tier of electronic music artists of his ilk.

Since 2007 Duke Dumont has channeled his deep love for electronic music into a variety of acclaimed releases, moving through pumping electro and vibrant techno to conquer the UK charts with Need U (100%). His early releases on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings helped establish his reputation for producing high quality club music that moves the dance floor, physically and emotionally. By 2012 he’d produced two career-defining EPs – For Club Use, Vol 1 and For Club Use, Vol 2. Tracks like The Giver cemented Dumont’s rep for catchy hooks, precision arrangement and powerful emotion. A year later he hit the No.1 spot in the UK charts with Need U (100%) (featuring A*M*E), demonstrating his ability to merge classic house motifs with first-rate songwriting.

Need U (100%) was followed with another UK No.1 I Got U; both songs achieving platinum sales. Between 2013 and 2020 he hit the Billboard Dance Chart No.1 with seven singles, including The Power, Won’t Look Back and Ocean Drive. With each release Duke Dumont stayed true to his club roots, achieving widespread success.

Morgan Wallen Rocks The Ryman

Big Loud/Republic Records record-breaker Morgan Wallen showed off why he is “the most wanted man in country” (The New Yorker) and his live show chops last night Live From The Ryman in celebration of Dangerous: The Double Album.

Wallen launched into his set unconventionally, unaccompanied by his band sitting at a keyboard center stage, inviting fans worldwide into the hour-and-a-half long concert with tender album opener, “Sand In My Boots.”

Turning up the volume, Wallen powered into album cuts like “Somethin’ Country,” “865,” “Neon Eyes,” “Somebody’s Problem,” and more. Adding to the fun, Wallen brought out burgeoning singer/songwriter and labelmate Ben Burgess to perform their collaboration, “Outlaw,” after breezing through current Top 25 viral single, “7 Summers.”

Topping off the evening, Wallen closed the electric set with most recent #1, PLATINUM “More Than My Hometown,” and returned to the stage for a minimalistic encore rendition of his fan favorite Jason Isbell cover, “Cover Me Up.”

Watch Morgan Wallen perform Live From The Ryman HERE

Wallen will keep the party rolling tomorrow night (1/14) with his iHeartCountry Album Release Party. The virtual event, hosted by Amy Brown, will feature a five-song performance, an exclusive interview and needle drops from his new album. The event will stream on iHeartRadio’s YouTube and broadcast across iHeartMedia’s Mainstream Country radio stations at 7pm local time and digitally on iHeartCountry Radio at 7pm ET/4pm PT.

Already making history earlier this week, Wallen set massive streaming records at Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Spotify, stoking the success of what Billboard predicts will be “the country set to beat in 2021.”

Watch Together with Sling

By Hannah DiPilato

SLING TV debuted a new co-watching feature today, Sling Watch Party, which enables customers to watch their favorite live programming together. With this feature, viewers can stream live television with up to three other viewers. Watchers can also interact in real-time by the video and chat features. This is an exciting first for the live T.V. industry!

Recently, as corona has swept the globe, quarantine has led to everyone interacting six feet apart. Loved ones have had to find new ways to come together virtually. One popular activity, during this time, became watching shows and movies together while on video chat. Netflix Party was a popular extension for people to watch Netflix together. This third-party extension had a few flaws, but now SLING is making it easy to watch together, even T.V. that’s live.

This feature is currently available to all existing SLING TV customers. SLING Watch Party can be accessed on Google Chrome web browsers by a laptop or desktop computer. Through a special beta preview, guests of the SLING subscriber can join a SLING Watch Party by easily creating a free SLING TV account. This free account registration is available through September 30th.

Those with an account can choose from most live, On Demand and LookBack content to stream with their friends. Channels are available depending on which SLING plan you are subscribed to. Subscription plans include SLING Orange, SLING Blue, SLING Latino and SLING International services. These subscriptions differ and can be chosen based on your television watching desires. Channels available with these subscriptions along with any SLING TV Extra are able to be watched in a party.

Everyone in the watch party has full control over their own video camera, the volume of the content on their individual device and the volume of video chat that is being received from other participants. The slingers in charge of hosting a Watch Party are able to manage player controls, including play, pause and rewind for all On Demand programming.

To host a SLING Watch Party sign on to sling.com on a Chrome Web Browser and select the program you want to watch. For live episodes, parties can be started up to an hour before the program begins. Select “Start Watch Party” and invite your guests with an email link. Then just start watching with your friends and family, but don’t forget your favorite snacks.

360 Magazine, The White Buffalo

“The White Buffalo” Live Show

The White Buffalo is playing live from the Belly Up Tavern on June 14th. It is an ‘All-Request Show’ virtual concert in partnership with Cadenza.TV.

Purchase tickets to “The White Buffalo Live from The Belly Up Tavern” and stream/purchase “On The Widow’s Walk.”

The White Buffalo (aka Jake Smith) has announced a second virtual concert in partnership with Cadenza. On April 5th, The White Buffalo and Cadenza partnered in one of the first paid, premium quality live stream experiences to happen in the wake of Covid-19. Due to the success of that first stream, a second performance has been scheduled for June 14.

“Christopher, Matt, and I were really humbled by the success of the first live stream in April. It was pretty amazing to see our whole global fan community come together in that way, especially during such a tough time for the world. We wanted to up the stakes for number two, so it only made sense to do it at one of our all-time favorite venues, the legendary Belly Up Tavern!” – Jake Smith (The White Buffalo)

The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA is a long-time staple of The White Buffalo’s, and a natural fit for the stream. This stream will be an all-request show where the fans will be 100% involved in selecting the setlist.

Fans can purchase tickets to the event here.

“The White Buffalo is one of our most treasured artists. He has a legacy of incredible live shows here at the Belly Up and we’re excited to show the world how well his artistry and our venue work together. It’s inspiring to me that artists like Jake are willing to put in the effort to give their fans a true concert performance at a time like this, with professional sound and lights, on a real stage, and it also helps support live venues like ours at a time when we really need it.” – Chris Goldsmith

The Belly Up Tavern Billed is an “all-request” event, this stream will also expand upon the first by making fan engagement a core focus. After fans purchase a pass, they will be able to request songs within the exclusive “Song Requests” section of the event page. Fans should first check to see if a song they want to request has already been requested, and if so, upvote it instead of typing it in. If a song has not yet been requested, anybody can type it in for other fans to upvote. There will be a 5 song submission limit. The most upvoted songs will create the setlist.

The White Buffalo recently released his seventh studio album On The Widow’s Walk, produced by Shooter Jennings. Upon release, the album charted in six categories, including #1 Bluegrass #2 Americana/Folk #4 New Artist #8 Rock. Newsweek praised the album saying it’s “an adventurous work of Americana” and Associated Press said, “Listening to The White Buffalo’s songs on the road will make you take the long way home so you can enjoy them a little while more.”

“I am able to put myself into the situation of the character, even though that character may not represent my point of view,” Smith reflects. “I try to take it to a human level and keep it as honest as I can. I guess what I’ve tried to do with this new album is to represent a broad range of emotions.” The album runs the gamut exploring dark moments as well as more uplifting ones, and a little bit of what’s in between. “I like to put some confusion into my songs, which is a very human element, I think.”

On The Widow’s Walk is a compelling, gimmick-free statement from an artist, now based in Southern California, whose activity between the musical lines has seen his star very much on the rise, playing to a million followers worldwide, achieving over 200 million streams to date, and securing a Top 10 spot in the TV/Film Syncs Chart for 2019.

Smith has also been using the time away from the road to revitalize his popular acoustic YouTube series, In The Garage, which has seen the release of four new episodes since mid-April after returning from a lengthy hiatus. Combining Smith’s natural humor, charm, musicianship, and taste for craft beer, In The Garage has proven itself to be an instant fan-favorite amongst day one supporters and new listeners alike.

About Cadenza.TV

Cadenza.tv is bringing music fans closer to the artists they love with new art to live streaming. The company, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, works hand-in-hand with each artist to tell an offstage story captured as a live event for fans to enjoy globally. About The Belly Up

The Belly Up was opened in Solana Beach, CA, in 1974 with only a couple of mics and no stage. Over the years it became a frequent stop for legends like John Lee Hooker, Etta James, and BB King. Epic performances by Curtis Mayfield, George Clinton, The Neville Brothers, and Toots and Maytals also are a part of the club’s early legacy. Since then, many artists have stopped by on their way up the ladder, including No Doubt, Black Eyed Peas, Mumford and Sons, Childish Gambino, and many more. Major artists have done underplays at the venue in recent years, including The Killers, The Red Hot Chili Peppers (who also played the club for 200 people in 1985), Jimmy Buffet, Willie Nelson, Ben Harper, Damian Marley, and Tom Jones. And, perhaps most famously, the Rolling Stones played a private event there in 2015.

LISTEN TO MODUS VIVENDI HERE

“A vital new singer makes her debut…an emo-rap Dark Side Of The Moon …Modus Vivendi suggests Enya and Pink Floyd as much as Frank Ocean…the sound of a realist and fantasist sparring, it reflects an artist still coming into focus on her own thrilling terms.”

“Ms. Balbuena’s voice is the record’s most extraordinary feature… The lush sonic backdrop, infused with strings and gentle drones, conveys an ethereal chamber-music setting altogether unusual for hip-hop and R&B.”

“On ‘Modus Vivendi’, she manages to craft a sound that’s anthemic, and built for festivals and clubs; but within the grooves, she’s precise… This is project sculpted away from current trends.”

“A sprawling journey across the emotional spectrum… while adequately booming, there’s a certain intimacy to ‘Modus;’ there are no featured verses — no voice other than Balbuena’s rasping lines across nearly an hour of music… the singularity of this project beams through with unsettling clarity.”

“She is constantly playing with contrasts—raw and smooth, light and dark, harsh and tender—and the songs on Modus Vivendi seem to shift with her mood.”

About 070 Shake
The title of 070 Shake’s debut album is Modus Vivendi — a Latin phrase used to reference a way of life in which two opposing parties can coexist peacefully. Art has always been Shake’s way of life, whether writing poetry as an outlet for depression or crafting playful rhymes about her teammates on bus rides to high school basketball games. “It was an escape for me with all of the frustrations and voices that were going on in my head. I’ve always felt that I had to do something with these words.”

All the way back to her childhood, this individualistic charm has always led the New Jersey-raised talent to stand out. Traditional schooling just wasn’t for Shake. Rather, she stuck out from peers with a natural knack for poetry and a profound love for basketball, even being deemed “Shake” for her crossover dribble. As she grew older, Shake became known for her rebellious nature, constantly causing trouble at school with countless pranks and a disinterest toward academics.

It was during these years, however, that Shake began to hone her artistic identity. From writing poems to falling in love with the cadences and storytelling of artists such as Alicia Keys and Kanye West, she quickly found a desire to start making music. Soon after, Shake began recording in a friend’s studio up until 2016, when the intensely vulnerable song “Proud” caught the ear of the legendary G.O.O.D. Music camp.

Shake signed to the label later that year, transitioning from manning kids’ bouncy castles in New Jersey to working with the likes of G.O.O.D. Music labelmates Kanye West and Pusha T, among others. Come 2018, she released the deeply personal EP, Glitter — a six-track culmination of diverse sounds and genres meant to chronicle the realities of love, depression, substance, and pain. Maintaining the same creativity that once fueled her high school poetry, she began to turn heads in the music world, becoming one of the year’s most talked-about names with her features on several other G.O.O.D. Music releases, namely the soul-stricken outro on Kanye West’s “Ghost Town” and her haunting vocals on Pusha T’s “Santeria.”

Today, in the wake of the release of Modus Vivendi, Shake is focused on bringing her reflective style to the spotlight with boundary-pushing creativity and pure emotional honesty as her compass. Detailing her creative process, “I just really go with how I feel in the moment and then that’s where the writing comes from. It’s like an ongoing disperse of words when I feel something.”

In a world obsessed with consumption, Shake is a much-needed breath of fresh air, more than ready to make her impact felt through music. In her own words, “I want it to make a change in the world. The agenda is bigger than just music.”

The Greeting Committee Release Music Video for “17”

“The Greeting Committee exudes youthful abandon on shimmery new single ’17.’

…This band needs to be on your radar.”

May 31, 2018 (Los Angeles, CA) Today, The Greeting Committee release a brand-new music video for their single,”17.” WATCH HERE.

This video came to fruition in a very unique way  Universal Music Group’s talented young college representatives worked with lead singer Addie Sartino on the treatment and creation of the video from start to finish. Their youthful vision and creativity resulted in a visual component which perfectly fits the song’s emotion and narrative.

On the song, the critically acclaimed Kansas City quartet infuse sunny, shimmering guitars with youthful spirit and vivid lyricism. Co-written with Jack Kennedy and produced by Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes), it’s as cinematic as it is catchy. The single provides the perfect precursor to the groups’ forthcoming new album, stay tuned for more details.

The band recently wrapped a North American tour supporting Jukebox the Ghost. Their energetic live show captured the attention of audiences across the country after their Pittsburgh set, AXS wrote that The Greeting Committee quickly won over the crowd with their energy and catchy songs. Twin Cities Media praised, “If every band had the amount of energy that Addie had last night I would never have a complaint about a live show, there’s no denying the power behind The Greeting Committee’s live shows,” while Music In Minnesota agreed, “The Greeting Committee put on one of the best performances from an opening act I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Between high school classes in their native Kansas City, The Greeting Committee quietly stirred up a following with their 2015 debut EP It’s Not All That Bad, which caught the attention of Lazlo Geiger, a radio personality from 96.5 The Buzz. The lead single “Hands Down” impressively generated 10 million-plus streams as the band went on touring with the likes of MisterWives, Tennis, The Mowglis, Saint Motel, and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, as well as making a splash at Lollapalooza and SXSW. “17″ is their first new release since their 2017 sophomore EP Meeting People Is Easy.

The Greeting Committee are: Addie Sartino (vocals), Brandon Yangmi (guitar), Pierce Turcotte (bass), and Austin Fraser (drums).
