Emerging pop artist Elise Eriksen has teamed up with legendary DJ Afrojack to reimagine her debut single “Less ft. Shoffy” as a shimmering summer anthem. PRESS HERE to listen to the remix for the pop favorite, which was originally co-written with multi-platinum songwriter Julia Michaels, and features both Shoffy and Blu DeTiger.
“This project is really special to me considering a DJ I have listened to all my life wanted to remix my song,” says Elise on the collaboration. “It feels completely surreal and I am beyond thankful!”
“Less ft. Shoffy (Afrojack Remix)” arrives on the heels of the original version, which recently broke over a million streams on Spotify alone after being featured on key pop playlists worldwide and receiving international radio play–including multiple spins on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2, the biggest radio stations in Europe. PRESS HERE to watch the effortlessly cool video for “Less ft. Shoffy,” which reflects on growing apart in a relationship and shows Elise defying expectations to stand out alongside a cast of her best friends. “Less ft. Shoffy” took shape after Elise threw herself into reimagining an early version of the track being toyed with by her father (GRAMMY-winning producer Mikkel Eriksen) and using her encyclopedic knowledge of music history and first-hand experience of watching the world’s biggest stars while growing up in the studio. The Afrojack collaboration also follows Elise’s second single “Smile,” which was co-written by Sasha Sloan, (Charli XCX, Camila Cabello, Anne-Marie, Katy Perry) The track showcases Elise’s distinctive vocals over her own piano instrumental while speaking to putting on a façade and smiling even though you’re not okay. PRESS HERE to watch the breathtakingly stark video, which was shot entirely by iPhone 12 on a frozen lake in Norway at -15°F.
Originally from Norway, Elise moved to New York City soon after discovering her love for music and is now based in Los Angeles. Learning over the years what it takes to make a perfect pop song, Elise is the daughter of one half of uber-producers Stargate (Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Coldplay) and grew up in the studio surrounded by the world’s top artists and songwriters. Embracing the uncompromising work ethic she grew up surrounded by, Elise devoted years to playing the piano and honing her craft before experimenting with writing songs of her own. Inspired by artists as eclectic as Stevie Nicks, Alicia Keys, Don Toliver, Pink Floyd, and Etta James, the seventeen-year-old’s dynamic musical imagination and sharp musical instincts reflect her endless creative curiosity and a deep commitment to her artistic growth.
“’Smile’ is a stripped-down, confessional ballad, with a chorus that aims for the rafters and nicely showcases the newcomer’s developing range.” – Billboard
“If you don’t already know the name Elise Eriksen, you’re about to in a big way.” – Sweety High

Sheila Escovedo, best known to music fans as Sheila E., first picked up drumsticks and started making music at the age of three. Inspired by her percussionist father, she delivered her first solo performance to a live audience only two years later and has since established herself as one of the most talented percussionists in the world. By the age of 20, Sheila was already a top session and touring musician, performing with some of the industry’s biggest names such as Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, and Stevie Nicks. In the 1980s, her undeniable talent and hits like “The Glamorous Life” and “A Love Bizarre” led to her international fame. Sheila E.’s producing, arranging and performance talents have been showcased in the music industry through numerous Grammy nominations and performances with the likes of Beyoncé, Hans Zimmer, Jennifer Lopez and Pharrell Williams. Away from the spotlight, she co-founded the Elevate Hope Foundation, which helps young people heal from trauma or neglect through music and art. Sheila E. continues to produce and perform music across the globe and her most recent album, Iconic: Message 4 America, pays tribute to songs that have defined movements fighting for justice and peace.
“I am honored to be the first-ever drummer for MasterClass,” said Sheila E. “When you know what your passion is and what your purpose is, no one and nothing can stand in your way. In my MasterClass, I will share my passion and teach members the fundamentals of percussion, drumming and hopefully, inspire them to make their own music.”
Sheila E.’s MasterClass will take members on a musical journey through her dynamic world of rhythm, percussion, and drumming. Rooted in the belief that anyone can learn to drum, she will demonstrate how to find rhythm by moving, clapping, and using household items like pots and pans. Not only will Sheila E. bring the foundational techniques of drumming to life, but she’ll also teach you how to play some of her most beloved instruments, including the congas and timbales, with help from her father, renowned percussionist Pete Escovedo, and her brothers, Peter Michael and Juan. Sheila E. will share intimate stories and insight from her experiences capturing the spotlight on stage alongside some of the world’s greatest talents, to rising to fame as a solo artist and becoming one of the world’s most famous Latin percussionists. Members will begin by learning the principles of rhythm and basic rudiments on the American drum set, in addition to music theory. The class will also cover intermediate concepts, such as leading a band, training tips, performance techniques and career advice. MasterClass members at all experience levels will master basic drumming techniques and develop a language for drumming that will inspire them to make music and play with others.

The third day of the BMI Stage at Lollapalooza gets underway with GRAMMY Award-winner Grace Weber, a go-to collaborator of Chance the Rapper and Kanye West. Soul standout DAVIE, who has been praised for embodying the passion and vitality of the genre, hits the stage next, followed by the female fronted rock’n’roll duo BONES (UK) and the infectious beats of fast rising electronic producer Melvv. Introspective alt-pop singer/songwriter morgxn promises to bring his trademark lyrical authenticity to the stage before Australian songstress Vera Blue closes out the day with her blend of folk/pop and moody electronica.

“A talented artist who knows how to move you and your body with soulful grooves and real AF lyrics.” – Okayplayer
GRAMMY Award-winner Grace Weber is a star on the rise. An accomplished singer/songwriter, Weber collaborated with Chance the Rapper and Kanye West, co-writing and singing on “All We Got,” the opening track of Chance’s GRAMMY-winning Coloring Book. Her singles, “More Than Friends” and “Elated,” shot to the top of Spotify’s charts, and her performance at SXSW was compared to a “religious experience” byNylon. Beyond her flourishing success, Weber is the cofounder of The Music Lab, Inc, a non-profit organization that provides free music education, career preparation and performance programs to high-school students in her hometown of Milwaukee.
“There are many types of musicians; some look good, some move good, some are great songwriters, some are great singers. DAVIE is all of these. He has a sound that fits next to the biggest names in contemporary R&B and that can hang comfortably with the giants of the genre’s past, all the way back to his hero, James Brown.” – Ticketmaster Insider
Inspired by the passion of vintage soul and the emotional uplift of gospel, New Jersey native DAVIE cut his musical teeth singing in churches in a traveling gospel band. His vocal prowess led him to Los Angeles, where he found work singing back-up for artists like Chris Brown, Cee-Lo Green and Childish Gambino. But it wasn’t until he went back to the churches of his youth that he found the key to unlock his own path. His debut EP, Black Gospel Vol.1, is filled with both Davie’s fiery spiritual passion and the celebratory energy of contemporary R&B, making the euphoria his songs can generate palpable.
“This is Trent Reznor-level cool. BONES is doing the whole damn thing, middle fingers to the sky and in full control of their work. Rock on.” —NYLON
To hear them explain it, British duo BONES (UK) is “leading the charge of taking rock’n’roll firmly into the 31st century.” Comprised of vocalist Rosie Bones and guitarist Carmen Van Den Berg, the band has already racked up some serious cred to back up their claim. After hearing an early gig by the duo in London’s Camden Town, rock legend Jeff Beck asked Bones and Van Den Berg to collaborate—as both co-writers and players—on his 2016 album Loud Hailer. After gaining a massive following off of singles “Beautiful is Boring” and “Girls Can’t Play Guitar,” it’s easy to see why they have caught the attention and toured with the likes of: Highly Suspect, Band of Skulls, KOOKS, PVRIS, Skunk Anansie and Miyavi.
“[Melvv] has been thrilling listeners with his jazzed-up dance music for years now…continuing to cement his status as a dynamic provocateur.” – Dancing Astronaut
Melvv is the artist project of Milwaukee, WI producer/DJ Jeffrey Melvin. He started producing music at age 12 after being inspired by a video of Daft Punk’s 2007 Paris concert. Melvv is currently signed to Atlantic Records and has a new EP releasing in the fall, which he will be performing at his Lolla Set.
“Morgxn captivated fans with his infectious pop musicality that’s expertly infused with deeply personal, complex yet relatable lyrics. It’s in this honesty, vulnerability, and authenticity that morgxn’s music resonates and connects with his legion of fans.” -Ones to Watch
morgxn, at age 8, became the youngest member of the Nashville Symphony Choir, and at age 9 penned his fist song “I’ll Always Be There for You.” morgxn decamped from Nashville to Los Angeles, in order to find “space to think, breathe, and be with myself.” While at a party he was asked if he wanted to meet Stevie Nicks, who sagely told the young songwriter, “You have to keep moving. This world will walk all over you if you don’t just keep going.” This advice changed morgxn’s life and his career. His debut album inspired by loss, Vital, is filled with cascading synth-scapes and cool beats, celebrating the emotional complexities of the human condition. His breakout single, “Home,” has earned nearly 7 million Spotify streams, and even inspired a partnership with The Covenant House, a charity for young runaways.
“There are many things we can be grateful to Australia for…but topping the list must be new alt-pop queen Vera Blue, who is undoubtably on the path to world domination.” – Paper Magazine
Vera Blue is an Australian singer/songwriter who started off playing acoustic folk music before adding lush, sultry electronic elements to broaden her sound. The results are sometimes gentle, sometimes ferocious and always show-stopping, with her commanding vocals front and center. After some crucial collabs with artists like Illy and Slumberjack, she released her EP Fingertips in 2016, followed by her debut album Perennial the following year. Response to both her recorded work and live shows have been rapturous.
Launched by founder Perry Farrell in 1991 as a touring festival, Lollapalooza remains an innovator in festival culture 27 years later. Lollapalooza was the first festival to bring together artists from a wide range of musical genres on one bill, it was also the first to travel, the first to expand to multiple days, the first to introduce a second stage, the first to blend art and activism, the first to offset its carbon emissions, the first to put electronic dance music artists on the main stage, the first to create family friendly programming, the first to make its home in an urban city center and the first to expand internationally.
Lollapalooza has grown into an annual world-class festival in Chicago (2005), as well as culturally rich countries including Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Germany and France. Lollapalooza is one of the premier destinations both for music fans in the United States and abroad. The festival expanded to four days in 2016 in celebration of 25 years and continues to bring fans four full days of music and over 180 bands on 8 stages. In 2017 Lollapalooza brought in over 245 million dollars in local economic impact and has brought in over 1.2 billion dollars in total locally, since 2010.
Lollapalooza is produced by Perry Farrell, William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, and C3 Presents.

Recently Morgue released “Do You Feel This Way”(Feat. Whethan). Check out the trackhere!
Of the song, Morgue says, “This is one of my favorite songs I’ve made because it is off axis just enough to blur my perspective between haunting and inviting. Teaming up with Whethan brought the perfect blend of hazy lethargy and upbeat skepticism to the track. It captures the unease of that feeling of not knowing how someone truly feels about you, and it still always makes me want to move when I hear it—it’s so fun to perform.”
“Do You Feel This Way” (feat. Whethan) follows Morgue’s single “F**k U”and her 2017 breakout track, “Medusa,” which catapulted her into an overnight success after she posted a live performance of the song on Twitter. “Medusa” became the title track from her debut EP, which was also released last fall and features her hit single, “Discovery.”

A gateway into the artist’s widescreen sonic wizardry, the four-song set includes her breakthrough “Medusa”and latest track “Discovery”—which Zane Lowe personally selected as a “World First” record on Apple Music Beats 1 just last month. Additionally, she reveals two equally majestic anthems at which to marvel. Produced by Joel Little [Lorde, Khalid], “Unfortunate Soul” tiptoes between clean guitars and glitchy beats as the songstress pleads, “I’m an unfortunate soul. It’s just the way that I roll.” Meanwhile, “Ghost of Mine” haunts and hypnotizes as her voice careens over spacious beats from producers Imad Royal and Brenton Duvall. Check out the official lyric video for “Unfortunate Soul” Here!
“Discovery” arrived hot on the heels of the viral hit “Medusa,” produced by CJ Baran [Melanie Martinez, Panic! At the Disco, Carly Rae Jepsen], quietly transformed the artist into a palpable phenomenon. Upon release, it launched to #1 on Hype Machine, was premiered by Fader and received “Best Track of the Week” by The New York Times, Line of Best Fit, MTV, Coup de Main and reached #2 on the Canadian viral chart on Spotify. Check out the video for “Medusa” Here.
