Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actress and activist paris jackson unveiled her brand-new single entitled “lighthouse” out now via Republic Records—listen to “lighthouse” HERE. The song was produced by singer, songwriter, musician and producer Butch Walker

The single is released alongside the official music video, which was inspired by the iconic video for Nirvana‘s “Sliver.” In the video, paris pays homage with a photo of Kurt Cobain—a full circle moment to the original video. Watch the “lighthouse” video HERE.

The song channels unbridled nineties rock energy as it harnesses the power of a classic alternative dynamic with a twist of its own. paris’ hypnotic verses give way to a chantable chorus, “I can feel the lights go low, but I don’t wanna let go now, maybe if I turn around you’ll see me, and what you used to be,” before a hummable guitar solo.

On the song, paris says, “I continued to write about this same old heartbreak that wilted is about. A lot of the new songs coming out are similar stories about the same person and heartbreak. I guess I’m just exploring different feelings. wilted was a more melancholy record, and now I’m exploring more of the anger…”

Global pop icons Jonas Brothers announced Jonas Brothers: Live in Las Vegas, an exclusive five-night Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM set for June 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11, 2022. General tickets on-sale begins Monday, March 7 at 10 AM PT.

The announcement of Jonas Brothers: Live in Las Vegas followed the band’s recently wrapped REMEMBER THIS Tour. The 40-plus date run across the U.S. topped the Pollstar2021 Year End: Top 100 Tours” chart as one of the highest-grossing tours of 2021 with over 528,000 tickets sold.

YouTube Originals premiered the first episode of “Copy That!,” the new five-part competition comedy series from Sony Pictures Television and executive producer Charles Wachter, where four-star YouTube creators each with a different, incredible skill, step out of their comfort zones and attempt to copy their fellow creators’ area of expertise in hysterical ways! Episodes debut daily on each spotlighted creators’ channel beginning on today only on YouTube. Additional “Copy That!” bonus content will premiere daily with each episode for YouTube Premium subscribers, only on the YouTube Originals official channel.

“Copy That!” stars Sofie Dossi (6.21M subscribers), Lisette aka Luhhsetty (3.15M subscribers), Rosanna Pansino (13M subscribers) and Preston (17.9M subscribers) who demo their gaming, cooking, dancing, or beauty and makeup mastery in a blur of action and charisma, and then it is up to the other star creators to COPY THAT! and nail their own version. Elton John × Stevie Wonder – Finish Line

Elton John and Stevie Wonder have unveiled “Finish Line,” the latest song to be released from forthcoming album The Lockdown Sessions. Listen HERE. A collection of collaborations recorded remotely over the last 18 months, The Lockdown Sessions is a dazzlingly diverse array of 16 tracks that celebrate togetherness and sees Elton collaborating with an unparalleled range of artists only he could draw together. It will be released on October 22nd via Interscope Records and is available to pre-order HERE.

Just last week Elton unveiled the second track to be taken from ‘The Lockdown Sessions,’ “After All” with Charlie Puth. A classic, soulful ballad, the track showed a delicious counterpart to previous single, and burgeoning global hit, “Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)” with Dua Lipa. And now, with “Finish Line” Elton and Stevie Wonder have revealed another fully realized side to the multifaceted ‘The Lockdown Sessions.’ A stunning gospel infused track, with Stevie’s unmistakable vocals and trademark harmonica, the song features The Sunday Service Choir, Kanye West’s renowned Gospel Choir. Previous collaborations between the pair have included “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues” (featuring Stevie on harmonica) and the Burt Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager penned “That’s What Friends Are For” (a 1985 charity record also featuring Dionne Warwick and Gladys Knight), but “Finish Line” is the first time that these two undeniable greats of popular music have dueted together. The resulting track is well worth the wait, a timeless song worthy of either man’s oeuvre. 

“Finish Line” is produced by GRAMMY Award winner Andrew Watt. In line with the rich and varied sonic palette that makes up ‘The Lockdown Sessions,’ the creation of the track was equal parts kismet and hard work, born out of mutual artistic respect and a fifty-year friendship. Speaking of the collaboration, Elton said: “I couldn’t be more proud of ‘Finish Line’: I’d go as far as to say it’s one of the best records I’ve ever made. Stevie’s voice is as good as I can ever remember hearing him – he sounds like a 17-year-old again, he’s singing with a sheer joy and exuberance in his vocals. Andrew Watt has done an unbelievable job on the production. It was a magical process. I’ve always loved collaborating with Stevie, and I’m delighted that after fifty years of friendship we finally get to do a full blown duet. He has always been so kind and sweet to me, and his talent is beyond ridiculous. When you listen to what he does vocally and instrumentally on ‘Finish Line’ you think, this is a true genius here.”

This is a part of Global Citizens campaign, a Recovery Plan for the World, which focuses on COVID-19, ending the hunger crisis, resuming learning for all, protecting the planet; and advancing equity for all.

Elton John has announced the forthcoming release of The Lockdown Sessions. An album of collaborations recorded remotely over the last 18 months, The Lockdown Sessions, will be released on October 22nd via Interscope Records.

In March 2020 Elton was forced to pause his record breaking Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour due to the unfolding COVID pandemic. As the world began to shut down, different projects presented themselves with artists Elton had enjoyed getting to know through his Apple Music show Rocket Hour. This was the beginning of one of Elton’s boldest and most interesting records to date that he has billed ‘The Lockdown Sessions’. This album saw Elton coming full circle and returning to his roots as a session musician. While it was no easy feat recording during a pandemic, a completely new way of working for Elton, he leaned into the challenge with some magnificent results.

Kicking off with current single “Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)” with Dua Lipa, the album takes the listener on a heady journey through many different genres, all held together with expert finesse and understanding by one of the greatest champions of music of our time. Much more than a mere collaboration album, ‘The Lockdown Sessions’ is a dazzlingly diverse collection of 16 tracks with 10 brand new unreleased tracks that celebrates togetherness and sees Elton collaborating with an unparalleled range of artists only he could draw together. The enduring influence of his musical milestone with one of the most ambitious projects ever conceived. In Elton’s words: “The last thing I expected to do during lockdown was make an album. But, as the pandemic went on, one‐off projects kept cropping up. Some of the recording sessions had to be done remotely, via Zoom, which I’d obviously never done before. Some of the sessions were recorded under very stringent safety regulations: working with another artist, but separated by glass screens. But all the tracks I worked on were really interesting and diverse, stuff that was completely different to anything I’m known for, stuff that took me out of my comfort zone into completely new territory. And I realised there was something weirdly familiar about working like this. At the start of my career, in the late 60s, I worked as a session musician. Working with different artists during lockdown reminded me of that. I’d come full circle: I was a session musician again. And it was still a blast.”

In three acts—I. Innocence, II. Suffering and III. Hope—this sublime collection was composed, produced and recorded in the artist’s New York City apartment during the Covid-19 pandemic. It features spoken word from Deepak Chopra and an interpretation of Billie Eilish’s chart-topping hit “Bad Guy.” 

Encompassing sweet melodies, hip-hop, and trap beats, Chloe Flower is a modern-day classical sensation, pushing the boundaries with her unique self-created Popsical genre. Of her album Chloe states: “I want people to listen to the album as a whole body of work, which is why I have a prelude and a finale as well as the three acts. The ultimate goal was to make an album that inspires listeners, and makes people hopeful. It’s new, edgy and a sound that is authentic to me.  Even though my music has no lyrics, I still have something to say.”

This video comes as a follow up to “Bohemia,” a dazzling and provocative music video showcasing the range of sound with hypnotic trap beats and seductive piano playing. Fresh off the heels of the announcement of their highly anticipated debut album, The Band Camino returns with a nostalgic visual for their latest single, Know It All. The video was directed by Andrew Arthur and edited by longtime visual collaborator Patrick Tracy. WATCH HERE.

Featured by Rolling Stone and coined ‘ear-candy’ by Idobi Radio, the single reflects on an old relationship and the accompanying video follows the trio on an adventure through New York City.  

Since their debut in 2016, The Band Camino have continued to push boundaries as a rock band for the pop generation with their electrifying guitar anthems including fan favorites Daphne Blue and See Through. Their infectious latest singles 1 Last Cigarette, Know It All, Sorry Mom, and Roses kick off an exciting next chapter for the band and offer only a glimpse of what can be expected on their forthcoming album. This fall, the Nashville-based trio will also hit the road in support of country duo Dan + Shay on their 2021 U.S. tour, from September 9 – December 7. In addition, the band secured a coveted slot at this year’s Bonnaroo festival in Nashville, Tennessee on September 4. Most recently, they made their late-night debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live with their performance of 1 Last Cigarette.

Risa Binder × Benji Harris – A Lot Like Home

Risa Binder’s music video for her single, “A Lot Like Home,” featuring Benji Harris, exclusively premiered on CMT Music and CMT.com–check it out HERE.

The digital release of Binder’s “A Lot Like Home,” available on iTunes, Amazon and all digital retailers, was written by Binder, Harris, Isabeau Miller and Shaun Balin, and was inspired by “exciting firsts” in their lives–moving to a new location, expecting a first child and embarking on new horizons. The song’s chorus lyrics are: “Something sweet that we can call our own, yeah we made it down the winding road, and it feels a lot like home.”

Binder states, “I absolutely loved shooting this video with director Doltyn Snedden! He always sees my vision so clearly and brings it to life!  Benji and I have worked together for six years and having him write this and sing it with me felt like having family on set. Benji’s voice is so beautiful, it’s always a great time getting to perform with him, and his wife Andrea is the actress playing the newlywed in the video! It was truly a family-friendly video shoot!”

Benji Harris is a well-known Nashville veteran. In addition to releasing his debut solo album in 2017, Benji has lent his talents playing guitar for number one artists like Sam Hunt, Carly Pearce, Cassadee Pope, Lindsay El and Jordan Davis.  His original trio, Scarletta, has had a Top 30 hit on Country Radio, and a popular music video in high-rotation on CMT.
