Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, will compose a +20 minute musical score based on an interview with the winner to be the “Soundtrack of Your Life.”

Holkenborg will release a new single ‘Despite All That Was’ alongside an NFT drop featuring three original art pieces from Space Renders on NFT platform AmplifyX, built on the energy efficient Tezos blockchain. 10% of the auction gross will be donated to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Earth Alliance charity.

Tom Holkenborg, one of Hollywood’s most coveted composers, has announced he will be minting a truly one-of-a-kind offering, by creating the score to someone’s life. Holkenborg is a blockbuster composer, whose credits include Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool and Godzilla vs Kong. He has built a reputation for pushing the envelope as a full-contact composer, and has worked with directors including Peter Jackson, Robert Rodriguez, James Cameron, Tim Miller and Zack Snyder among others. The ‘Soundtrack to Your Life’ Auction Begins Noon EST on June 16, 2021 on AmplifyX, an NFT platform built on the energy efficient Tezos blockchain.

The ‘Soundtrack Of Your Life’ NFT concept was developed by Holkenborg to be an offering that would push the boundaries of what is possible with NFTs. Holkenborg will create a 20+ minute original score, based on an interview with the winner, that encapsulates the unique victories, heartbreaks, memories and emotions that make up their lives. The NFT auction is a chance to have one of Hollywood’s singular composers write a truly personalized audio odyssey for you or a loved one. Institutional entrants are also welcome to participate in the bidding.

“This is my first real exploration of the blockchain, I am definitely curious to experiment more, drawn to its transparency and decentralized approach,” said Tom Holkenborg. “Beneath the hype, it still feels quite punk rock and DIY, and I believe that major possibilities exist within the blockchain to help empower creators. It’s always good to think about expanding the limits of how and where music can go, and to collaborate with artists in other mediums. I’m certainly not first in the NFT space, but I thought the Soundtrack Of Your Life was my chance to add something different and make something totally unique. It’s going to be fun!”

The NFT Open Collection will include the first original non-film related work from Tom since 2012, the single “Despite All That Was” and three original pieces of artwork in collaboration with visual artist Space Renders (Juan Piana) who has previously worked with creators like Camila Cabello, Machine Gun Kelly, Jake Paul and others.

“We’re building the toolkit to help creators raise capital, create additive revenue streams and engage with their fan bases in new ways,” says AmplifyX CEO Adam Cowherd.

The auction will take place on AmplifyX, a FINRA and SEC registered platform reinventing the intersection of NFTs and securities to transform digital ownership and monetization across technology, finance and popular culture. AmplifyX is built on the Tezos blockchain, an energy efficient Proof of Stake blockchain network that uses 2 million times less energy than Proof of Work blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. 10% of the auction gross will be donated to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Earth Alliance charity.

15-year-old singer/songwriter Ava Della Pietra has just released her most poignant single to-date with “Home,” inspired by the devastating stories of families torn apart on the southern border. Parade Magazine called the song “inspiring,” “empowering,” and a “pop ray of hope,” with “pure pop sensibility, catchy hooks and heartfelt lyrics…inspiring young listeners to feel proactive and empowered.” With lyrics that touch on fear, loneliness, and hope, “Home” is universal anthem for any young person struggling with life’s challenges, as relevant to those on the southern border as to the everyday teen. Over the past few years, Ava has emerged as one of the most promising young artists on the pop scene today. Having established herself on the Broadway stage in the original cast of School of Rock, Ava’s debut single “Christmas Tonight” was named one of the “Best Holiday Songs” of the year by Tiger Beat Magazine, alongside artists like the Jonas Brothers and Liam Payne, and her follow-up single “Optimist” reached #50 on the Top 40 Radio chart, earning praise from American Songwriter, Just Jared Jr., and Newsday, who called Ava a “rising star.”

Here at 360 Magazine, we sat down with Ava to discuss the release of “Home,” her rise to fame, and how she finds inspiration for her soulful songwriting.

  1. Are there any specific charities you’d like to shout out of which to proceeds of “Home” are going toward? Yes, I am giving proceeds from “Home” to non-profit agencies helping unaccompanied minors to reunite with their families and find homes.

    2. You’ve written over 50 songs! That’s very impressive. Where do you find inspiration for writing all of these tracks?  

    Most of my inspiration comes from real life. I really enjoy expressing my emotions through my songwriting because I think it helps me discover more about myself. Sometimes, I will just be walking around my house and a thought will pop into my head. Unconsciously, I come up with a melody to that phrase, and occasionally I’ll create a song. Other times, I’ll simply sit down and think, “I want to write a song today!”

    3. Of the songs you’ve written that haven’t yet been produced, what other themes do you discuss within your music that you think are most important to bring awareness to?

    A few themes I explore in my songs are love, empowerment, mental health, confidence, and friendship. For example, I’ve recently written a few songs about overcoming insecurities. Something I like about my music is that even though a couple of my songs may focus on sad topics, almost all of them have a positive or hopeful spin to them by the end.

    4. Even though other young people’s situations may not be as severe as those at the southern border, how do you see “Home” as a relatable anthem for all listeners?

    “Home” is about lending a helping hand to those in need. This idea can apply to a wide range of situations, from daily encouragement to serious national issues, such as the southern border.

    5. What is the most standout performance of your career, in your opinion?

    In terms of acting and performing arts, “School of Rock” on Broadway was definitely a dream come true. In regard to my singer-songwriter career, Sundance Film Festival was one of my favorite experiences. I also really enjoyed singing the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden for a Knicks game, singing at My Father’s Place, and traveling out to Las Vegas to perform.

    6. You recently launched “Talking Tunes with Ava Della Pietra.” What artists do you particularly enjoy and inspire your own performance?

    Some of my favorite artists are Lauv, Conan Gray, Halsey, Lewis Capaldi, and Camila Cabello. I also like Ed Sheeran and his performance style. He uses a loop pedal which allows him to add the different layers of a song live. I’ve recently started to use a looper, and I find it really fun to incorporate all 5 of my instruments into my performance.

    7. Do you have a “dream musical” you’d love to be involved with in the future?

    I’m a huge fan of “Dear Evan Hansen”, so being a part of that musical would be absolutely incredible!

    8. You began performing at such a young age. When did you, or your parents, first recognize your natural ability to perform?

    I’ve been singing more or less my whole life! I was in my first community theater production when I was four, and people began to approach my parents and encourage them to find me an agent. When I was six, I booked my first role in the National Tour of “Les Misérables.” Everything kind of skyrocketed from there.

    9. What are you most excited about regarding the upcoming release of your debut album?

    I’m just so excited for people to listen to my music. Over the past year, my style has changed a lot, and I can’t wait for people to hear what I’ve been working on!

On Rock Back & Forth,” a smooth, clean guitar riff underscores his breathy verses before blossoming into a simmering hook, “They just don’t move like you move, they just don’t dance like you do. In the accompanying visual, he moves in a myriad of ways, attending an aerial physique teacher training session, pole dance workout, and even roller skating by the beach.  Watch it HERE.

About “Rock Back & Forth,” he explained, “I wrote this tune after watching Dirty Dancing with my previous partner. I adored how she was able to express herself through dance. I never felt comfortable dancing myself, but it was a joy to watch someone else be so liberated. ‘Rock Back & Forth’ was assurance for my partner. Even though there are other beautiful people in the world, what you love about your partner is their nuances, individuality, and unique style. I thought I would discover different forms of movement to see if it’d help with my own self-confidence. I hope other people can take courage if they’re as uncomfortable with dance as I am.”

The music of Healthy Baby Boy, Part 1 relays the artist’s coming-of-age, whisked out of obscurity in Edinburg, VA by mega-producer Ricky Reed and trading a town of 1,000 residents for Los Angeles, where the budding talent is now making a lifelong dream a reality.

Most recently, he unveiled “Damn Bean” with a Pulp Fiction-inspired music video. Prior, John-Robert dropped “USMO,” an acronym short for “You Should Move On” and set the stage for Healthy Baby Boy, Part 1 with the release of title track Healthy Baby Boy” last October. The autobiographical slice-of-life immediately attracted tastemaker praise by the likes of  SPIN, who raved, “On his latest single, ‘Healthy Baby Boy,’ John-Robert shows his depth as an emerging songwriter by his understanding of the poignancy of life,” and American Songwriter noted, “He pours his emotional angst directly into his new song, the charmingly nostalgic ‘Healthy Baby Boy.’  In The Know put it best, “John-Robert is a name you’ll want to know…a small-town baby boy who’s steadily rising to super stardom.”

ANDREW WATT WINS GRAMMY FOR PRODUCER OF THE YEAR

He is known as one of the best players in the world and has a massive following on Instagram with nearly 150 million. Neymar has competed with the title against Messi on ‘who is better.’ 

Jennifer Lopez: Jennifer Lopez is and always has been a huge American actress, singer, and dancer. She is engaged to the famous baseball player, Alex Rodriguez, and has two charming children. She has a following of 143 million on Instagram and is always staying up to date on the latest trends. Jennifer very recently came out with a new makeup line called JLo Beauty that has gotten great feedback from. 

Lele Pons: Lele Pons is the new face of the “ideal celebrity.” Influencers have taken over and Lele is one of many. She is available on platforms such as Youtube, Spotify, Instagram, etc. She consistently is showing her following vision in her personal life. For being somewhat new to the influencer world, she has a following of 43.5 million on Instagram. Lele has opened up about her battle with OCD, ADHD, and Tourette syndrome in a documentary posted on her YouTube channel called The Secret Life of Lele Pons.

Lejuan James:  Lejuan is a comedian and an influencer on Youtube. In 2019 he released his book called Definitely Hispanic which is a comedy and heartfelt book about Lejuan himself. The book walks the readers through Lejuan growing up Hispanic in the US. On his YouTube channel, he creates skits and small clips to express his enthusiastic personality. 

Camila Cabello: Camila Cabello is originally known for being a part of the girl group Fifth Harmony which was created on the  X Factor in 2012. When Camila strayed away from the group she created her songs and sang her music that wowed millions of people. Currently, she is recognized for being partners with the other musically talented, Shawn Mendes. Her socials show the raw, heartfelt women she is. Recently, she has shared many posts regarding her beliefs and what she stands for. She is using her platform to express and show social issues, politics, and pushes her viewers to make a difference in the world. 

Yuya: Yuya (Marind Castrejón Castañeda) is a YouTube star. Her content subsists of beauty tutorials, her authentic daily life, and her style inspiration. Her social media captures alluring photography of herself, styles, food, and a simple day in her life. Yuya has been featured on multiple Mexican television and also on Vogue.  

Bethany Mota: Bethany Mota is known as the Youtube star who raised us all. She started on Youtube sharing content relating to fashion advice, hauls, DIYs, and so much more. She continues to post on Youtube and other socials but has done a great job staying up to date on current trends involving fashion, lifestyle, and content. Bethany strained away from her usual content and was featured on Dancing with the Stars Season 19

Dulce Candy: Dulce Candy is a beauty and fashion vlogger. She has two channels on Youtube, one focuses on tutorial videos while the other focuses on her everyday life. Her socials consist of true and authentic life, have an influencer but also has a mother. 

Selena Gomez: Selena Gomez is one of many talents. She is a singer, an actress, and a producer. Recently she has also become an entrepreneur because of her new skincare brand RareBeauty which is based around mental health. Selena always uses her platforms for inspiring messages and spreading awareness which is why she has always had such a good look to the public eye. 

Leo Messi: Leo Messi is a professional football player for FC Barcelona. He is known as being the world’s wealthiest football player. His socials consist of ads, his family, and his life as a professional football player. An interesting fact about Leo is that he sticks to five key foods – water, olive oil, whole grains, fresh fruit, and fresh vegetables. 

German Garmendia: German is a content creator who targets comedy. He shares content on his authentic daily life. German is now signed to WME talent agency

Maiah Ocando: Maiah is an express and an internet star. She has a background in Fashion Design and shares storytimes, makeup tutorials, and fashion advice on her youtube channel with 735k Subscribers. An interesting fact about Maiah is that she is the host of a web show on YouTube called Visto Bueno and is also a writer of a book called Visto Bueno.

Kathy Cano-Murillo:  Kathy Cano-Murillo is a creative genius! She is an author, and an artist and has created an award-winning brand called CraftyChica. CraftyChica is a space to express ingenuity. Young Thug Wins “Song of the Year”

Young Thug won his first GRAMMY for “Song of the Year” – one of the awards top honors- at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards, for his songwriting work on Childish Gambino’s “This is America”.

Released in May last year, the song and it’s accompanying visual quickly went viral, with subject matter that touches on gun violence, racism and discrimination within America. The song has racked up nearly 500 million views on YouTube, and makes history as the first rap song to ever win the award.

“This is America” was nominated alongside other hits like Drake’s “God’s Plan”, Ella Mai’s “Boo’d Up”, Black Panther single, “All The Stars”, Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood”, “The Joke” by Brandi Carlile, A Star Was Born’s “Shallow,” and Zedd’s “The Middle.”

Young Thug also performed alongside Camila Cabello at the ceremony, performing their record breaking song, “Havana” for the broadcast’s cold open. The song, which hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts, was also nominated for a GRAMMY for “Best Pop Solo Performance.” The live performance also included appearances from Jay Balvin, Ricky Martin and Arturo Sandoval.
