PAULO LONDRA – JULIETA

PAULO LONDRA DROPS HIS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED REGGAETON “JULIETA”

Paulo Londra‘s “Julieta” is the reggaeton that the Cordovan star’s fans have been longing for. It was produced by Sky Rompiendo, in collaboration with Federico Vindver, the producer behind Paulo’s latest releases. The song and video are available on all digital streaming platforms starting today.

The music video was filmed in Buenos Aires, directed by Gabriel Bosisio and produced by Buena Productora. It stands out not only for seeing the artist in a new setting, but also for the striking visual composition and staging. Taking aesthetic elements from 80’s horror movies, the video shows Paulo trapped in a spine-chilling hospital, trying to escape from a group of scientists who are trying to steal his ideas, his youth and his creativity.

This single comes on the heels of Paulo Londra‘s successful and highly anticipated return to the music scene, with which he has taken the industry by storm releasing hit after hit. With the release of “Plan A”, he broke records and took over the No. 2 spot on Spotify’s Global Chart within hours of its release, becoming the first Latin song to reach that position by an Argentine artist without collaboration. Two weeks later he released his second single titled “Chance” and re-entered Spotify‘s Global Chart and remained within the top trends on YouTube. Then, Paulo stormed the industry once again with the double release of “Nublado” and “Luces”, a decision he made to release them on the same night as a surprise for his fans. Recently, Paulo Londra released a freestyle in collaboration with renowned producer, Timbaland, titled “Toc Toc”, a single that was followed by “Cansado”, a track he did in collaboration with Joaqo, his friend with whom he took his first steps in the Cordovan freestyle.

Up next, Paulo Londra will be releasing “Noche de Novela”, joining forces once again with his friend and global superstar, Ed Sheeran, which will continue to further consolidate his global status and position him as one of the most versatile and prominent artists in the Latin urban genre.

A couple of weeks filled with Paulo Londra’s music for his audience. With a new team for this new stage, Paulo Londra continues his global conquest with Warner Music Latina and BUENA Productora

Primamore

Coral Contemporary Gallery will present an exhibition of Argentinian artist Maria Chiara Baccanelli on May 19, 2022. Titled “Primamore,” this exhibition reflects the striking spontaneity of Baccanelli’s work, characterized by powerful colors that decant into floral forests. The aroma of these bouquets comes off as in a sunny spring afternoon in the countryside and surpasses her creations, enthralling the viewer. This enchantment is also due to the strength that emerges from her canvases, thanks to a varied palette of bright, pleasant and energetic colors. To further enrich this experience, she adds ceramic sculptures of organic forms of exquisite elegance, recreating, in its entirety, a fantasy refuge where the power, appearance and light of color irrefutably prevail.

Founded by Isabel Tassara in 2018, Coral Contemporary Gallery is a contemporary art gallery that represents emerging and established artists worldwide. The gallery works as a commercial space to buy art as well as a place to enjoy different art shows. All exhibits are planned, and most works are site-specific. The gallery works together with the artists to help them expand and show whatever they have on their minds.

“By providing a space to immerse the public into various forms of art, the gallery serves as a place to contemplate, acquire and connect the art and the viewer, while expanding their boundaries,” says Tassara. “I consider it extremely important to love the art that we show and nurture an effective and trustful relationship with the artists that we work with,” she adds.

Located at 30 NW 34th Street in Midtown Miami, the gallery program not only includes exhibitions but also Artist Talks, discussion panels and gallery lectures, all free and open to the public.

Coral Contemporary Art Gallery also has created the Coral Contemporary Store, which is an online platform to bring art closer to the public. The shopify store features artwork of over 30 emerging and established artists from all over the world.

SPOTLIGHT ON MARÍA BECERRA

María Becerra is a tour de force. The Argentinian songstress, known as “la nena de Argentina” released her second EP in 2021, embracing and experimenting with hip-hop, reggaeton, trap, R&B, salsa, and more to craft her new sound. Described as a “leading voice in Argentina’s urban pop movement,” Becerra is a star on the rise. As the first Latin artist signed to indie American record label 300 Entertainment and with a Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist pending, it is clear despite her successes already, she is only just beginning. She sat down to answer a few questions for 360 Magazine including how she got her start in music, the story behind her nickname, her influences, and what to expect from her in 2022.

How would you describe your style of music?

I believe I have a very melodic and versatile musical style. In the studio, we always try to ensure that each song has a varied melodic line, with different degrees of nuances. Above all, we aspire to make a melody that sounds familiar and enjoyable to the public. I have experimented with several genres and in all of them, I was able to find how to make my own style fit within them. I hear they call me ‘the Queen of Weeping,” which makes me laugh. I have many songs that are for dogging and dancing, and others that are a bit sadder.

How did you first become interested in creating music?

From a very young age, art was important to me; I learned how to sing, act and dance as a child. In my home, we listened to a lot of music. For a while, I did covers of famous songs as I learned. I think I was absorbing different music and styles to the point where I felt the need to start expressing myself with my own works. Despite this desire, I was not 100% confident in my abilities yet and had many insecurities. I was afraid of how the public would receive my music and doubted if this was my true path. Luckily, things turned out in a positive way. Today, I have no doubts that yes, I was born to create music and it brings me a lot of joy.

Which songs are you most proud of?

Mm, they are all special to me and fill me with pride. It is difficult for me to pick just one. If I had to choose one, my first instinct is to say Ademas De Mi or Mi Debilidad, that song is very significant to me as an artist. I cried a lot while making it and recording the video.

You were a Youtuber before becoming a singer. How was the experience of transitioning from an influencer to an artist?

YouTube was a beautiful experience, and I am grateful that the opportunity was a positive one. The change in my life was progressive over time. Being on YouTube allowed me the chance for people to get to know me, while I gained confidence and worked on my own fears as a public person. Obviously, my life and my career are now on another path but having the experience of being a YouTuber served as the foundation for everything that has gone on to happen in my life.

What is your favorite fan moment?

My favorite moments are when my fans tell me everything in my music speaks to them. It’s amazing how something I pour so much love into in the studio can reach so many people and positively influence their lives. In live concerts, we would raise up different fans to speak with them, and at one performance a girl told us that with my song ‘Tell Me How I Do,’ she declared her love to her girlfriend. I found it beautiful. Those moments fill me with incredible happiness.

Maria Becerra by Christian Garfa 2

How does it feel to have reached this level of popularity so young?

It still doesn’t feel real. It is incredible to me, but I just try and take things one day at a time. I try to appreciate the small things and remain the humble girl I’ve always been because that’s still who I am. I surround myself a lot with my friends, my family, and my pets who are my rocks – they remind me of where I come from and who I am.

Why do you refer to yourself as the Girl from Argentina?

In general, it is known that many of the best discoveries occur accidentally, and this was no exception. When we recorded Animal with Cazzu, in the song’s lyrics I sing “Las Nenas de Argentina,” as if referring to the two of us. Apparently, when people listened, they heard “La nena de Argentina” and everyone loved that I referred to myself that way. From there, I started to use it as my brand, and I feel it gives me a special power for communicating to the world my music and I are made and from Argentina.

Who are your influences?

Wow, so many artists! I especially love and admire Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, and Rihanna. They are very important role models to me. I watch their shows and videos a lot.

How did it feel to join a label as prestigious as 300 Entertainment?

I am honored and very happy to work with them. They have always been supportive, even affectionate, towards me. Unfortunately, their office is in Los Angeles, so we don’t have the opportunity to see each other that often, but when we do it’s always a special moment. I know the whole team at 300 takes care of me and wants the best for me, so I respect them and thank them very much.

Your most recent EP blended many different genres. Which genres would you like to experiment with in the future?

I like Bachata, and I think more songs like this are coming from me. Yet as I said before, I don’t want to pigeonhole myself. I love to experiment with different genres and different sounds, and that is what is important to me as I create music today. So, in 2022 you and all my fans can be surprised with what I come out with next.

What can we expect to see from you in the future?

I feel like 2022 is going to be a great year. My team and I are working hard to make it so. I’m locked in the studio, and many of the songs we are currently working on are tremendous. I am already anxious for people to listen to them. This year, a new album is coming, as well as trips and several shows in Argentina and Europe. We hope to reach many places and have everyone dance and sing to my music.

Pureaty Naturals – Biotin Hair Serum

One of those products that went viral over quarantine, none other than this biotin hair serum from Pureaty Naturals.

According to more than 5,000 five-star Amazon ratings awarded for its ability to regrow hair even in nearly bald spots after a month of use. Shoppers say it makes a huge difference in their hair’s strength and thickness, rescuing thinning hairlines from intense shedding and encouraging growth like a “miracle serum.”

Prior to trying the Pureauty formula, one person says that nothing seemed to help their drain-clogging hair loss. Within two weeks, the cycle turned around: “The results are AMAZING! I legit only had like two strands fall out per shower.” They continue, “The only downside: I didn’t find this product sooner. I could not be happier. Thank you so much to whoever made this. You literally saved my depressed soul from losing my hair.”

Another person “desperate” to reverse their chemo-thinned hair says their hair loss is now so minimal, the results are “hard to believe.” But by all accounts it doesn’t much matter what’s behind the hair loss — the Pureauty’s hydrators, including the glycerin and squalane mentioned above, keep your scalp optimally moisturized regardless. As the last person concludes: “Thank you, little bottle of serum.”

Cornbread Hemp

The CBD industry has become an oversaturated $2.1 billion market notorious for a lack of consumer awareness, large corporations, and countless athletes/celebrities fronting brands (without any real involvement in the company). However, a few smaller CBD brands are setting themselves apart through a purpose-driven mission and commitment to product quality.

Cornbread Hemp is one of the rare few that has been able to gain market share as an underdog, in large part due to its signature Flower-Only™, full spectrum, and USDA-certified organic hemp. They are going down a different path, not cutting corners, and offering a product that is light years ahead of what you see at your local convenience store.

The founders at Cornbread Hemp have made taking on corporate CBD as one of their causes to ensure that consumers know what is in the product they are ingesting or rubbing on their bodies. Co-founder Jim Higdon has said that “what most consumers don’t know is that corporate hemp manufacturers produce substandard products, only to dress them up with the term ‘Whole Plant.'”

Casio G-SHOCK x Kanoa Igarashi

Casio G-SHOCK has created their second exclusive extreme sports watch in collaboration with pro-surfer Kanoa Igarashi.

The partnership between G-SHOCK and Igarashi created the GBX-100KI, which is modeled after the GBX100. This new model is perfect for your loved ones that enjoy surfing, and showcases the use of Mobile Link functions, which allow the watch to be linked with a smartphone app. In the app consumers have the option to rack information vital to surfers such as tide data and sunset/sunrise times.

“SKIN IN THE GAME ART TALK & BRUNCH”

CADILLAC HOTEL & BEACH CLUB HOSTED ART TALK AND BRUNCH DURING MIAMI ART WEEK, CELEBRATING “SKIN IN THE GAME” EXHIBIT

MODERATED BY ZOE LUKOV AND BEN LEE RITCHIE HANDLER, PANEL FEATURED ARTISTS ISABELLE ALBUQERQUE AND RAUL DE NIEVES

Independent curator Zoe Lukov and Ben Lee Ritchie Handler, Global Director of Nicodim Gallery moderated a spirited, invitation-only panel discussion during Miami Art Week at iconic oceanfront property Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, located at 3925 Collins Avenue.

Artists Isabelle Albuquerque and Raúl de Nieves participated in a candid conversation about their inspirations, artistic processes, and techniques over brunch at the Art Deco waterfront hotel on Friday, December 3. The private event was in celebration of “Skin in the Game,” an exhibition of work by 35 diverse artists, curated by Lukov, about touch, transmission, and skin – the potential, vulnerability and contained therein — as a boundary to protect from danger or as a porous border to receive.

In attendance were Nicodim Gallery owner Mihai Nicodim; Desert X President and Founder Susan Davis; Desert X Artistic Director Neville Wakefield; artists Devin B. Johnson, Alicia Adamerovich, Nicolette Mishkan, Orlando Estrada, and Allison Eden; interior designer and celebrity chef Travis London; gallerist Ana Cristea; art collector Walid Wahab; philanthropist Jenni Coba; and actress and model Celesta Hodge, among others.

“Artists create channels to the divine, that take us to another level,” said Lukov, in conversation with the panel. Nicodim Gallery’s Handler commented on “the performance and ritual of making the magic” [of art], adding cheekily, “What I like about this exhibition is that it’s not afraid to be a little dirty.” Artist Isabelle Albuquerque, a Los Angeles-based sculptor and performer, spoke of “sculpture as a memory,” a vehicle “to remember what an experience feels like.” Raúl de Nieves, a New York-based interdisciplinary artist, performer, and musician, likened art to “a celebratory skin” that provides “something to believe in, to manifest the strength within us.”

Texas

The art in Texas is top notch, specifically noting the art of the major cities along with other safe havens for creatives such as Marfa and which have recently gained traction. A few examples of the major cities and more of the unknown include:

  • San Angelo, an oasis in West Texas off the beaten path, has quickly grown as a Texas art hub, with a lot of the art outdoors and accessible to the community at all times. Highlights like the Chicken Farm Art Center, where local artists are set up in refurbished farm buildings, as well as Paintbrush Alley, where over 50 artists have donated their time to create artwork in the downtown alley, are stand-alone destinations worth checking out when in San Angelo. Lastly, the Pop Art Museum which is also outdoor murals has been positively received by the community, with 31 pieces done by local artists throughout a former bowling alley, including a piece from James Gill who worked directly with Andy Warhol at the forefront of the Pop Art movement.
  • The diversity and affordability of Houston has created an internationally acclaimed art scene, home to graffiti parks, modern museums and everything in between. Highlights include:
  • James Turrell’s Skyspace Structure, an interactive installation which will test your perception of light and color. Though to experience art in Dallas one never has to enter a gallery; during a quick trek through any of the city’s walkable neighborhoods murals and iconic sculptures will reveal themselves. Here are a few:

Rapid City, South Dakota

In the small town of Rapid City, South Dakota, where there’s no shortage of bucket list outdoor art experiences, you’ll find Art Alley,a functioning alley that was transformed into a place for artists to create and share their work with the public. The walls are covered in pieces from local artists, many anonymous, and are constantly changing as new works pop up, providing a new experience every visit. Before this area became known as Art Alley, local artists used to hang canvas artworks on the walls and eventually this evolved into painting murals. It wasn’t until a group of passionate artists and community members worked with city officials to nurture this organic art form into the Art Alley we know today. Dominica

Presented by The Waitukubuli Artist Association (WAA) “WhoOosh!! 2” virtual exhibit is the first of its kind in Dominica, showcasing photography, sculptures and paintings created by local artists. The exhibit was filmed using a 360° camera in the abandoned Roseau Anglican Church, which was devastated by Hurricane Maria in 2017. The exhibit is an immersive experience that allows the audience to experience this real place from afar. Just like in a video game, virtual attendees can look around in any direction, interact with objects and people and examine the art up close. The exhibition is themed around the impacts that recent hurricanes have had on the artists’ way of life, interpreting their very own experience of resilience in various artistic forms. Argentina

Known as South America’s capital of culture, Buenos Aires, Argentina, was appointed as UNESCO’s first City of Design with the opening of the Metropolitan Design Center.  Not only that, but the city was also the birthplace of Tango, which first originated in Buenos Aires dance halls in the 1880s. Now, travelers can witness world-class tango each year during the city’s International Tango Festival and World Cup. In 2013, Argentinian artist Alfredo Segatori painted what was then the longest mural in the world, located in Barracas. And, finally, if you didn’t need more artistic inspiration to visit this lively city, Buenos Aires also hosts the world’s most important collections of Latin American art. The Museum of Latin American Art is home to the Fundación Costantini art collection which consists of 400+ masterpieces including paintings, sculptures, photography, and engravings by famous 20-century Latin American artists.

Verónica Gago – Feminist International

Recent years have seen massive feminist mobilizations in virtually every continent, overturning social mores and repressive legislation. In this brilliant and original look at the emerging feminist international, Verónica Gago explores how the women’s strike, as both a concept and collective experience, may be transforming the boundaries of politics as we know it.

At once a gripping political analysis and a theoretically charged manifesto, Feminist International draws on the author’s rich experience with radical movements to enter into ongoing debates in feminist and Marxist theory: from social reproduction and domestic work to the intertwining of financial and gender violence, as well as controversies surrounding the neo-extractivist model of development, the possibilities and limits of left populism, and the ever-vexed nexus of gender-race-class. Gago asks what another theory of power might look like, one premised on our desire to change everything.

Verónica Gago is a leader in Argentina’s #NiUnaMenos movement (Not One More!), as both a theoretician and an activist. She is a Professor of Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, Professor at the Instituto de Altos Estudios, Universidad Nacional de San Martín, and Assistant Researcher at the National Council of Research (CONICET). Her work is deeply influenced by active participation in the experience of Colectivo Situaciones, who recorded the Argentine social movements around the 2001 debt crisis with remarkable acuity.

Gaucho – Buenos Aires Appoints New Creative Director

GAUCHO – BUENOS AIRES Appoints Lautaro Amadeo Tambutto As Creative Director.

Gaucho – Buenos Aires, an emerging luxury label with global ambitions, is pleased to announce they have appointed in-house designer, Lautaro Amadeo Tambutto as the brand’s Creative Director. His role and primary duties as a designer ;will now be expanded, managing the conception, design, and on-brand execution of materials for the brand. Tambutto will be working primarily out of the business’s headquarters in New York City, as well as the atelier in Buenos Aires’ upmarket Recoleta district.

Off the heels of a successful debut at New York Fashion Week in September 2019, Tambutto joined the growing Gaucho – Buenos Aires brand in December, with plans to incorporate creative silhouettes and lots of leather with an urban spin for the young and culturally aware clientele. Tambutto’s “GPS Collection” – slated for the SS20-21 season – plots a course on a fashion journey that builds upon contemporary urban and athleisure trends. By injecting elegance and sophistication into streetwear fashion, Tambutto intends to elevate streetwear casual to streetwear elegance, and seeks to globally position Gaucho – Buenos Aires’ spirit of Argentina as a major presence in the fashion landscape.

Born in Argentina, Tambutto’s family originally hails from San Antonio de Areco – otherwise known as the home of the Gaucho. Having received his training in Italy, Vogue Italia has described his aesthetic as a “very modern and richly inspired take on sportswear,” and it is indeed an appealing mix of references – “the sweet spot between sportswear, traditional tailoring and Latin American influences,” Tambutto says. It all resonates strongly with Gaucho – Buenos Aires’ own design DNA. Tambutto sees immense possibilities for the emerging brand to put Buenos Aires on the luxury fashion map and looks forward to bringing long-overdue recognition to Argentinian design.

“I’m very excited about taking over the creative direction of Gaucho and working with such a professional group. The team’s support and mutual understanding of each other helps us move forward in the right direction. Since the beginning of my career, I saw the image of the Gaucho as an icon and my inspiration, and now with this opportunity as Creative Director for Gaucho – Buenos Aires, I have the platform to show the world my vision, my traditions, and a canvas to highlight this beautiful culture,” said Tambutto.

“We could not be more excited to promote Lautaro into his new role as Creative Director. His positive attitude, heritage and talent lends to the authenticity of our brand” said Scott Mathis, Gaucho Group Holdings, Inc.’s Founder & Chairman.

“Lautaro’s creative vision and style pairs perfectly with Gaucho – Buenos Aires’ growing collection of products, the authenticity of Argentina, and the elegance and style of Buenos Aires. We look forward to great things from our team in the future. Our company’s future lies in e-commerce, where we have the opportunity to achieve global scale.”
