NOULA

In honor of Haitian Heritage Month, the Miami Design District‘s latest art exhibition takes place at the Buick Building. NOULA is an exhibition that challenges the idea of Haitian experience and existence. This exhibition brings together contemporary Haitian artists from different parts of the world, who disrupt and confront the negative notion about Haitian culture, societal standards and the perceptions of self-identity in relation to imposed narratives.

About NOULA

NOULA addresses historical and contemporary systemic issues, while using the homeland of Haiti as an example and beacon. This exhibition illuminates the great contributions Haiti has offered throughout history. These artists, in their cultural context, are addressing stereotypes, biases affecting self-perception and the misconception of their own country.

These Haitian artists encourage us to celebrate an emerging cultural exhibition, transforming the Buick Building into an immersive gallery. All from different parts of the world, these artists showcase original art, sculptures, drawings and mixed-media in hopes of sparking new expectations in the world of Haitian art. The exhibition notably features conceptual art from Michaelle Sergile, film projection from Steven Baboun and sculptures from Nico Vorbe. In the spirit of Diasporic engagement, NOULA bridges the gap between classic works from old masters and contemporary masters to the most recent work by contemporary artists. This thematic exhibition displays Haitian Heritage through the lens of today’s most prominent and contemporary Haitian artists.

CAMOWORKS – CAMO 3DLA

CAMOWORKS is proud to announce the launch of the CAMO 3DLA™ ICON SERIES – Original, Limited Edition, 3-Dimensional Layered Artforms of music icons AC/DC, Bob Marley, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, and The Notorious BIG. An industry first, CAMO’s Officially Licensed Collectible Art will go on sale July 19 HERE.

The CAMO 3DLA™ ICON SERIES is the debut collectible art series created by CAMOWORKS, a collaborative Los Angeles, CA-based design studio of multi-faceted and detail-obsessed artists, illustrators, and industrial designers, all superfans themselves. A limited-edition run of only 500 pieces per icon will be produced. Each CAMO 3DLA™ collectible is fully authorized by the artist or their estate.

CAMO’s proprietary, patent-pending CAMO 3DLA™ design – more than two years in the making – reflects the finest of both traditional and cutting-edge craftsmanship. CAMO 3DLA™ sculptures are finely crafted and assembled by hand, with premium materials, including laser-cut acrylic in an array of rich hues and finishes that create dimensionality. When arranged with precision, these layers create an illusion that, when viewed from the proper vantage point, magically reveal a 3D representation of the Icon. Each piece is finished with a numbered metal badge before being packaged in a thoughtfully constructed collector’s box. Integrated into a custom ball-bearing base that turns 360 degrees, each officially licensed, limited edition piece is as satisfying to turn as it is to view, revealing new dimensions of a layered illusion when seen from every angle, all with the touch of a fingertip.

Icons symbolize freedom, define a generation, evoke emotion, question authority and influence lifestyle and art. Inspired by music legends across a variety of genres, the CAMO 3DLA™ ICON SERIES is a way for fans to bring inspiration into their everyday lives. Each CAMO 3DLA™ measures 10” x 10” x 12.2-13.7” (L x W x H), and fits easily on a bookshelf or tabletop.

“We’re building a foundation of creativity, art, and hand-construction,” says Brad Beckerman, Founder, CEO, and Brand Chief of CAMOWORKS, and creator of CAMO 3DLA™. “Music is our focus because it’s the life force of everything we do.”

A high-energy entrepreneur with a successful track record of creating disruptive lifestyle brands in the sports, music, entertainment, and spirits industries, Beckerman pioneered the licensed luxury music merchandise market when he founded TRUNK Ltd., a music-inspired, lifestyle brand which was fully acquired by Live Nation in 2007, at which time Brad became Chief Creative Officer of the global entertainment company. Beckerman went on to create STILLHOUSE, a spirits company whose rule-breaking stainless steel packaging was an industry game-changer; the multi-award-winning brand was acquired by Bacardi in 2019. Beckerman’s unique vision and business acumen are now revolutionizing the Collectible Art category with CAMO 3DLA™.

CAMO, which is an acronym for “Culture, Art, Music, and Originals,” is created for the diehard fan, the pop culture enthusiast, and lovers of great art. “CAMO is a DTF platform – Direct to Fan,” says Beckerman, whose personal playlist includes an eclectic rotation of John Legend, Nas, Led Zeppelin, English rock band The Heavy, Willie Nelson, and the Grateful Dead.

“The superfan is an integral part of the CAMO culture,” Beckerman continues. “CAMO gives fans a way to not only celebrate the genres and icons they love, but be emotionally connected to their music every single day – even if the volume’s down.”

Priced individually at $800 USD, the CAMO 3DLA™ ICON SERIES will be available worldwide on July 19 at HERE.

NADER MUSEUM – FERNANDO BOTERO

The Nader Museum located in the Wynwood Arts District, Miami, proudly announces that ‘Botero Immersed’ in honor of Fernando Botero, will be extended through June 30, 2022. The exciting exhibit is a visual and engaging passage into the work of Botero with music composed by twenty-two times Grammy winner world producer Emilio Estefan. We’re inviting top media and influencers to visit this wonderful initiative from Monday to Saturday between 10:30AM and 5:00PM. Please let us know your availability so we can coordinate coverage.

Gary Nader, curator, and director of the museum, defines the exhibit as “a remarkable cultural event and multimedia experience, and features Botero’s iconic body of work from the 1960s to the present day through 360-degree interactive digital projections, lights, music and sounds.”

Guests will witness a selection of significant pieces representing his works over the last six decades, such as the circus personages, life in Latin America and its people, bullfighting, and adaptations of the work of art history masters. Botero’s narratives go beyond the represented object; a single image is full of connotations, and it may take spectators to a vast and unique universe of experiences. Botero’s “baroque” exaggeration of the portrayed objects reminds you that his signature style stands as an array of influences, from Renaissance masters to the 20th-century expressionist movements.

Fernando Botero was born in Medellin, Colombia (1932). In 1950, he graduated from Medellin University. He went on to study in Spain and Italy before eventually moving to New York in 1960, where he won the Guggenheim National Prize for Colombia. Over the next few years, Botero began to develop his trademark style. The small-town life he experienced as a child and the Colombian people of his youth would become his most rich source of inspiration. In 1973, Botero moved to Paris and began making sculptures. Botero has achieved international recognition for his painting, drawings, sculptures, and exhibitions around the world. His art is collected by many major international museums, corporations, and private collectors around the world.

Botero, with his immense sculptures, manipulates forms, proportions, volumes, and sizes to create smooth, round, and plump humans and animals that transform their surroundings and generate an immediate response from the viewer. He once said of his sculptures, “I never give particular traits to my figures. I don’t want them to have personality, but rather represent a type that I create. My sculptures do not carry any messages, social or otherwise. What matters for me is the form, the voluptuous surfaces, which emphasize the sensuality of my work. I like the enormous size; it is the fulfillment of my longing for voluptuous round forms.”

The Nader Museum, with over 1200 works of art from over 150+ important modern and contemporary masters, is compromised to elevate the importance of our culture by promoting excellence, a work performed by his founder Gary Nader for over 40 years.

Botero Immersed is also intended to promote the Nader Museum, a not-for-profit organization with 501(c)3 tax status. The museum is dedicated to showcasing a myriad of acclaimed art that fosters knowledge through a continuous process of appreciation and reinterpretation of modern and contemporary art from Latin American and its diaspora. Through a permanent collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, installations, and other media, the museum’s audience can experience and appreciate one of the world’s most significant regions of today’s contemporary art scene.

Tickets can be purchased here.

Primamore

Coral Contemporary Gallery will present an exhibition of Argentinian artist Maria Chiara Baccanelli on May 19, 2022. Titled “Primamore,” this exhibition reflects the striking spontaneity of Baccanelli’s work, characterized by powerful colors that decant into floral forests. The aroma of these bouquets comes off as in a sunny spring afternoon in the countryside and surpasses her creations, enthralling the viewer. This enchantment is also due to the strength that emerges from her canvases, thanks to a varied palette of bright, pleasant and energetic colors. To further enrich this experience, she adds ceramic sculptures of organic forms of exquisite elegance, recreating, in its entirety, a fantasy refuge where the power, appearance and light of color irrefutably prevail.

Founded by Isabel Tassara in 2018, Coral Contemporary Gallery is a contemporary art gallery that represents emerging and established artists worldwide. The gallery works as a commercial space to buy art as well as a place to enjoy different art shows. All exhibits are planned, and most works are site-specific. The gallery works together with the artists to help them expand and show whatever they have on their minds.

“By providing a space to immerse the public into various forms of art, the gallery serves as a place to contemplate, acquire and connect the art and the viewer, while expanding their boundaries,” says Tassara. “I consider it extremely important to love the art that we show and nurture an effective and trustful relationship with the artists that we work with,” she adds.

Located at 30 NW 34th Street in Midtown Miami, the gallery program not only includes exhibitions but also Artist Talks, discussion panels and gallery lectures, all free and open to the public.

Coral Contemporary Art Gallery also has created the Coral Contemporary Store, which is an online platform to bring art closer to the public. The shopify store features artwork of over 30 emerging and established artists from all over the world.

About Coral Contemporary Gallery

Coral Contemporary Gallery, located in Midtown Miami, and founded by Isabel Tassara in 2018, specializes in contemporary visual art from Latin America. The Gallery works with young and mid-career artists, and incorporates artists of great renown and trajectory, favoring the link, particularly, between Buenos Aires and Miami. The gallery works with a select group of artists, and manages the exhibition, sale, and promotion of their works. It offers private tours, dinners, and studio visits, with the intention of generating an experience through art with its clients. Coral Contemporary Gallery also has a unique educational program that aims to nurture and develop the relationship between art, viewer and community. Artist talks, discussion panels and conferences in the gallery are some of the actions it develops. By providing a space to immerse the public in various forms of art, the gallery serves as a place to contemplate, acquire, and connect the art and the viewer, while expanding its boundaries.

Dr. Don Basile, Founder of Bitcoin Latinum & CEO of Monsoon Blockchain Corporation expressed, “We are very excited about the opportunity to allow end consumers to participate in the blockchain future of NFT and use crypto in this emerging exciting sports metaverse…”  about the partnership with TapStats!

GENESIS will also feature the first-ever “Fighter Draft” (like NBA and NFL Drafts) where the top-25 unsigned MMA and boxing fighters will be nominated by fans and the TapStats Draft Board that includes legends of MMA and boxing. Between November 1-30 fans can click HERE to vote for their favorite fighters.

Bitcoin Latinum is the only cryptocurrency available today that offered the features and technical capability required to power the GENESIS metaverse and real-time fan engagement on its hyper-scalable mainnet. Watching MMA events is now rewarding and lucrative too!  As fans tap on their TapStats app screens to record strike data, they earn Bitcoin LTNM. The more events fans watch and record, the more coin they receive! In addition, fans can tip fighters at any point (before, during, or after matches) with LTNM. Tipping, along with NFT sales, creates new economic opportunities for fighters who can now go directly to fans based on their social media capability and audience demand.

GENESIS NFTs provide favorable economics for creators compared to the current industry economics of NFT proceeds in addition to the potential perpetual royalties. Additionally, NFTs can be “fused” during special 4-hour windows during events to create “super NFTs” creating a rarer and more valuable asset. Genesis NFT’s will utilize the LTNM blockchain that has appreciated by approximately 1000% since its October 2021 launch, giving GENESIS NFTs the benefit of a fast-growing underlying currency. Fans across the globe that were previously limited by access to content or participation can now fully experience and engage in a sport that is beloved by 450 million fans.

Sensei Paul Misir, the Founder of TapStats, states, “This game-changing partnership immediately alters the combat sports landscape and opens up a fun-profit factor never seen before.”

Art collectors, MMA fans, investors, and event-goers alike will join surprise special guest celebrity hosts, including MMA superstar Paige VanZant, Eric Apple and UFC star Mike Chandler to usher in the future of Sport at the #1stFIGHTERDraft event on 12/1/21.
