GMC PARTNERS WITH NTWRK

GMC is teaming up with leading livestream shopping platform NTWRK for a full Day of Drops on October 20th to celebrate the reveal of its new all-electric vehicle, the first-ever Sierra EV. The Day of Drops will include six curated products from NTWRK, all powered by GMC.
“The Sierra EV is a bold play in GMC’s growing electric-vehicle portfolio, and we’re happy to be a part of their electric revolution. NTWRK is very passionate about a zero-emissions future, so this is the exact thing we can support and champion as we all work together towards an all-electric future,” NTWRK CEO Aaron Levant says.

“The Sierra EV is the newest addition to GMC’s electric revolution, which began with the GMC HUMMER EV supertruck,” said Molly Peck, vice president of Buick and GMC marketing. “This collaboration with NTWRK celebrates the next chapter of the Sierra franchise, bringing forward premium talent and products that enhance the reveal of the first-ever Sierra EV.”

NTWRK tapped fashion designer Dao-Yi Chow (Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrods) for the “Van Moof E-Bike” – a custom electric bike that levels up to the Sierra EV’s technology – automatic electronic gear shifting, anti-theft tech, removable power bank, and high-tech smart technology. Chow is a born and raised New Yorker who co-created the street-savvy fashion brand Public School in 2008, which has received high acclaim with several major fashion awards (CFDA’s
Swarovski Award for Menswear & Menswear Designer of the Year, US Woolmark Prize for
Menswear). His collections continue to be sold in boutiques and department stores such as Bergdorf Goodman, Harvey Nichols, Maxfield, Isetan, Boon The Shop, and Mr. Porter.
Additionally, American professional ice hockey center for the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs, Auston Matthews, will present the “Convertible Traveler Garment Bag” – a timeless piece for the Sierra EV audience who have affinity for luxury, fashion, lifestyle and travel. Matthews helped put his spin on this premium quality product that’s functional and transforms travel through tasteful design. Four bags will drop on NTWRK, each costing $340. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase these custom bags.

“I’m excited to be collaborating with GMC and NTWRK on this exclusive garment bag, it is a great way to travel in style,” said Auston Matthews.

Since then, he was voted as most valuable player in the NHL in 2021-22, thereby winning the Hart Trophy; he also became the first Toronto player to win the Ted Lindsay Award, distinguishing him as most outstanding player by the NHL Players’ Association.

360 MAGAZINE Swarovski encrusted bottle designed by Vaughn Lowery for NFT-VIP and minted on Solana

NFT-VIP

NFT-VIP is hosting its inaugural conference in the tech space to network their businesses, advance knowledge and engage intimately. In the recent past, similar NFT meetups have been held in multiple cities across America: Miami, New York City and Los Angeles. This year, NFT-VIP will be holding its series at Margaritaville Resort Time Square, June 19 – 22. 360 MAGAZINE serves as the official media sponsor of the episode.

As a rapidly growing digital industry, NFT-VIP has become a popular way for people to trade outside the conventional financial system. It continues to stimulate the development of a virtual economy based on digital strengths in various forms: music, art and fashion.

“The idea of using cryptocurrencies is not only a form of currency. Along with a deliverable channel, knowing that entities could be built on them and using them is mind-blowing,” states Julie Lamb, CEO of NFT-VIP. This is the first major 360 MAG Podcast promotion that will serve as the official launch. Interviewee Jefferson Noel is scheduled to speak on the NFT-VIP agenda. Other notable guests: Andrew Yang, Young Paris, Alex Alpert, Vaughn Lowery, Chris Carter, Genesis Johnson, postVerrone, Fanzo, Sal DiGuardia and FoodMasku.

The NFT-VIP festival was fabricated with the unique digital identifier enthusiast in mind, providing a golden opportunity to intensify transmissions and interrelations. The number of leading brands and celebrities involved in this field is increasing exponentially with the world’s first and largest crypto collectibles market—OpenSea. With that, 360 MAGAZINE has minted and released a loveable Animal set.

As a media partner, 360 MAGAZINE aims to liaise between NFT-VIP participants and disadvantaged business enterprises. 360 is determined to spread the word on NFT-VIP to countless cohorts: the elderly, women, racialized groups and the queer community. “We now coexist in a multi-generational society with multi-racial people who have multi-educational backgrounds and who possess multi-hyphen lifestyles. Our purpose here is to create an environment of inclusiveness and to further facilitate sustainable relationships beyond the metaverse,” Lowery shares.

During the engagement, 360’s Swarovski encrusted bottle, made in collaboration with Integrity Bottles and Good Vibe Gliders, will be forged on Solana with partial proceeds donated to a charity. 360, freshly announced pet NFT, apace with Reebok’s Looney Tunes footwear, will go to a handful of lucky guests with Best Tech Style. Additionally, in real time, the publication will interview the speakers in their ecletic enclosure with bean bags and a bejeweled e-bike.

Swarovski Encrusted Bottle

360 Magazine has revealed a new, bedazzled brand bottle in collaboration with Integrity Bottles. Decorated with approximately 6,040 Swarovski crystal gems, this lavish flask radiates glamour and elegance. The shimmering container was created by artist Gabe Majalca of Good Vibe Gliders, who constructed the piece in over thirty hours of dedicated craftsmanship. Thousands of glimmering gems encase the container, creating a luxurious, polished and sophisticated look, as 360 Magazine represents. The bottle is to be debuted at the upcoming 360 Magazine Immersive Bodega Pop-Up.

Chrysolite, which is Greek for “gold stone,” sheaths the outside of the gleaming bottle in a rich yellow-green hue. For the “360” design on the side of the bottle, Chrysolite AB was utilized. Further, the cork is detailed with Electric White DeLite. The construction of the flagon took 30 hours in total. Overall, the process in creating this custom Swarovski-swathed bottle was time consuming, but the end result is an incredible feat of precision and dazzling artistry.

On 360 Magazine’s website, the popular Summer Sip List showcases some of the magazine’s favorite alcohol brands and drinks, all of which can be enjoyed in the new container. Cocktail recipes like Pinnacle Vodka’s Apricot Honeysuckle Spritz, Santo Spirit’s Hibiscus Smash, D’USSE’s champagne sparkler, and Cavit Wines’ Rosjito all invite readers to host a happy hour of their own. 360 Magazine is sure that the new pitcher will bring good times spent together enjoying fine sips and spirits. Now that the careful process of creating the bottle is over with, we will be sure to use this bottle in our everyday lives, whether we’re trying out new cocktail recipes, transporting drinks on-the-go, or simply displaying the container’s magnificent beauty.

This isn’t the first time 360 Magazine has worked with Integrity Bottles. In November of 2020, Integrity Bottles unveiled the 360 Magazine collection of glassware. The collection features seven products, including decanters, a refillable bottle, a stemless wine glass, a whiskey rocks glass, a 16 oz pint glass, and a Gibraltar beer mug. As with the previously released products, the new bedazzled carafe can hold your scotch, vodka, tequila, gin, rum, or any other desired sips. As the two brands look to their most recent collaboration to create the Swarovski-coated container, Integrity and 360 Magazine gleam with pride and assurance in the highest quality of production.

Integrity Bottles started as a small business between friends, but has blossomed into a thriving online store and studio based in San Diego. The company is run by military veterans and former law enforcement officers who always place integrity and honor at the forefront of their business practices. Having sold more than 3,200 bottles and earned 100% positive reviews on Amazon, Integrity Bottle products are sure to bring more merry making into your home. Integrity Bottles’ website can be accessed here, and customers can use the discount code “GIVEBACK” for 5% off their purchase.

Gabe Majalca, who constructed the 360 Magazine × Integrity Bottles’ bottle, spoke about the design process. His brand, Good Vibe Gliders, provides custom, crystal-encrusted creations to suit customer’s vibes.

What was your process of decorating this brilliant 360 Mag bottle?

First thing was choosing the right color. We wanted something that resembled sacred water or a magical lagoon. Chrysolite and Chrysolite AB Swarovski turned out to be the color most true to my vision. Next, was construction. It’s most important to keep your lines straight at the beginning, starting with the foundation. So, by the time your pattern reaches the top, your lines will still be straight!

How long did the process of decorating the bottle with Swarovski crystals take?

It was a tedious 30-hour [long] project. The thing is, you’re not just laying stones in a line–eventually you need to fill in the 360 Logo–and that right there was a massive challenge. It’s similar to a jigsaw puzzle. Putting the right stone in the right place is paramount to the letters looking clean [and] uniform. Lots of mental energy went into the letters. I’m very pleased with how it turned out.

What did you think when Vaughn first came to you with the idea?

Vaughn’s the homie and I knew he had worked with Integrity Bottles before. So, naturally, I was stoked to hear 360 Mag was getting themselves an iced-out bottle. I’ve always wanted to complete a Swarovski bottle–so the project made perfect sense to me and I jumped right on it. Anything for Vaughn.

How do you feel after seeing the original vision tangibly come to life?

It feels great! Looks like a magical lagoon! Something to keep in mind–it’s always a marathon when doing this artwork, so seeing something come together, completely finished–well, that makes me really happy inside. This was a challenging but very satisfying project, no doubt about that.

What was your first thought when you viewed the finished bottle product?

“I’m done! I’m finally done!” Haha No really though, I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what I said. This bottle was a deceiving hard project to complete – so many elements. Since this was my first try at a something like this, there were many twists and turns to the design that I simply did not foresee. In the end, it was like someone giving me an XL pizza and sa[ying], “you can’t get up until you finish it.” Not that it wouldn’t be totally delicious while I was eating it, but eventually you slow down at about half way through [when] you’re getting full and your stomach starts to hurt, but your tastebuds and your will power keep saying MORE! That’s what this project felt like… right up to the point when [I] took the last delicious bite. Worth it.

What do you think would be the best use of this bottle? Do you have a drink of choice you imagine drinking from it?

Easy, tell Vaughn to make me a Caramelized Citrus Smash! This refreshing summer cocktail is equal parts vodka and grilled citrus juice with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda. Vaughn will need some ruby-red grapefruits, lemons, limes, and navel oranges. Slice your citrus in half, brush the cut side with some honey, and dip the cut sides in sugar. Throw your fruit cut-side-down on the grill to caramelize the sugar. Once grilled, let it rest until cool. Lastly–the booze. Mix 1.5 ounces vodka, 1.5 ounces juice, and 1 ounce of water or sparkling water.

Hey V, I’m on my way!

360 Magazine x Integrity Bottles bottle image by Gabe Maljalca for use by 360 Magazine

Vaughn Lowery, President of 360 Magazine, spoke about the concept and creation the 360 × Integrity Bottles design:

How you originally come up with this idea of encrusting a bottle in Swarovski crystals?

Not too long ago, Victoria Secret had embellished some lingerie in diamonds for a runway show. Shortly after, Joe Boxer mocked the idea with boxer briefs for a stint during NYFW in Bryant Park. As the former spokesperson for this brand [Joe Boxer], I struggled in these uncomfortable underwear (the rhinestones literally dug deep into my skin causing several scratches on my thighs). Over the years, Gabe has bejeweled scooters and e-bikes for Good Vibe Gliders. Once we saw that he’s ventured out into sneakers with various customizations, we knew that he had to lace one of our Integrity Bottles with Swarovski crystals, adding a touch a glam and panache. This meticulous process took more than 30 hours and was executed by a total of 4 craftsmen with close to 1000 dollars of materials (not to mention intensive work).

Did you come up with the Chrysolite color way? We wanted the bottle to embody a monochromatic color palette to reflect today’s modern and colorless society in celebration of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Why were these gems/colors specifically chosen?  We provided Gabe with a water theme and the end product represents clarity and purity, mimicking our eclectic mantra of transparency. After all, 360 readers are permanently celebrating their uniqueness along with this masterpiece.

Does the vessel actually cost $1,000,000? No, not at all. But Swarovski crystals are the closest thing to a blood diamond without destroying the lives of people like in the Congo. They refract light as a prism, showcasing almost all the colors of the rainbow (thus paying tribute to the LGBTQ community).

Why did you choose to work with Integrity Bottles again? What is working with them like?

Integrity Bottles is a veteran-led business and provides opportunities for people who have proudly served our country. The[y] [are the] same people who return from a period of service to find themselves displaced in society, especially [from] the work force.

How do you envision using this bottle in your own life?

We will exhibit the container in our workspaces and activations though out the world where guests will be able to witness its unforgettable beauty. Furthermore, several team members mentioned that we could auction the carafe in the hopes of helping to raise awareness and offer them some financial support for their efforts.

How do you view this product as representative of 360 Magazine?

Everything in this made-to-measure bottle embodies 360. Similar to life’s circle, we start our journey into this world as a fragile piece of glass. Over the years, we have evolved into something bigger and better than we were before.

Disney x Gigi Burris

In celebration of Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday, New York milliner Gigi Burris launches a capsule collection interpreting through headwear an American icon, Mickey. Burris debuts today a nine-piece collection of felt hats and hair accessories that celebrate Mickey’s timeless style and color palette.

Raised in Central Florida with Walt Disney World essentially in her backyard, Burris was transfixed by Mickey Mouse from a young age—his unmistakable ears shaping more than just an unforgettable character, but also the dreams of a young, creative spirit. As a renowned milliner, Burris possesses a rare talent for taking the old and making it new, using centuries-old techniques to handcraft one-of-a-kind pieces that are all locally made in New York City.

The first place that Burris draws inspiration from are the two simple black circles on top of Mickey’s head that have become as recognizable as the mouse himself. Burris plays off this silhouette in her Icon Cap, which comes in red, yellow and black. Now three dimensional, this innovative piece is a wearable sculpture. The Icon, is a limited edition drop with 30 hand-numbered pieces per color. “I wanted to create a forward-thinking take on the ears that looks as welcome at Walt Disney World as it would on the streets of New York,” Burris explains.

For a more classic silhouette, Burris creates a black and red fedora, drawing inspiration from the period of Mickey Mouse’s inception in 1928. For this piece, the ears appear as subtle, black circles that add interest to the crown of the hat. Mickey’s black and white beginnings are referenced in an elegant veiled headband that features hand-applied sequins and Swarovski crystals on ears formed from hand-tacked French veiling.

To emphasize Mickey’s natural charm, Burris individually places a pattern of Swarovski gunmetal pearls and red crystals onto a luxe, gunmetal headband in the shape of his ear silhouette. Another accessory pays homage to Mickey’s iconic design and recognizable ears. Here, it is plated in 14 karat gold—a simple and chic way to portray Mickey’s hairline. “As a hat maker, I was drawn to what shapes Mickey’s face—the dramatic widow’s peak that punctuates his every expression.”

While Mickey’s ears are his trademark, the mouse has never shied away from headwear. He has always selected just the right topper to complement his most memorable looks. Burris is particularly inspired by the captain’s hat Mickey wears in his debut film, Disney’s Steamboat Willie, as well as the square brimmed hat Mickey puts on as a conductor in Disney’s The Band Concert.

These references are alluded to in the form of a lambskin leather Greek Fisherman’s hat, featuring Mickey’s signature white buttons and a subtle nod to his hairline stitched in white thread on the top of the cap. A cheery, red, square-brimmed hat is a modern update to a classic baseball cap, complete with three Disney x Gigi Burris pins—Mickey tipping his boater hat, the classic icon of Mickey’s ears, and an “M” for Mickey. This moment harkens back to the days when Burris, like many others, would leave Walt Disney World with a plethora of Mickey Mouse souvenirs and memories of another special day spent with the beloved mouse.

Each piece in this collection embodies what Burris and people everywhere love about Mickey Mouse— his playful mischief, his joy, his style and, of course, his ability to make you smile.

Earlier this year Disney announced the launch of “Mickey the True Original”– a global campaign in celebration of Mickey’s heritage spanning over the last 90 years. Since his inception in 1928, Mickey Mouse has become a global pop culture icon, transcending languages and cultures – embodying a ‘true original’ spirit; Mickey Mouse was the first licensed character franchise and appeared in the first-ever synchronized sound cartoon, Disney’s Steamboat Willie.

Recognized the world over, Mickey continues to inspire artists, musicians and fashion designers from around the globe. The True Original campaign will bring together other original brands that are recognized as pioneers in their field, and Gigi Burris epitomizes this.

Paris FW x Haute Couture

During Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture, on Tuesday, July 3,

Maison des Centraliens has hosted three young designers with their Fall- Winter Collections 2018-2019:

ABE by Ariane Chaumeil Jewelry  “Miroir”

There is magic and mystery in a mirror : the reflexion of who looks into it is real, but reversed.  Since we gaze at ourselves, all fantasies become possible and brings us back to face each other, and to what the world has to face. As a two-way mirror, you can see without being seen. Step through and find out with this collection, and the part of your soul using your imagination, whether it is dark or whether radiant…

The fall winter collection of the ABE by Ariane Chaumeil house, whose crafting remains done with the blowtorch glass, becomes richer with a new proposition: the metal paste making. Sculpted and cast, the metal paste is modelled, sanded, fired at high temperature, brushed and rubbed with a burnisher and polished several times in order to get pieces of golden and white bronze, and of pure copper, with a shiny, ancient rendering.

A couture collection by  designer Armine Ohanyan

A couture collection made in France, entirely handmade, intimately inspired by nature, showing the natural elements in all their forms. Ice, crystallization, rain, wind, dew and roots. Crystallized in these surroundings, the Human Being becomes Nature. The Nature is everlasting, nothing can stop it. It is the true beauty, perfection. For depicting this cycle of evolution, Armine Ohanyan uses the new technologies such as 3D printing or materials crafting, which play an important role in her creation process. Her art investigations never end, like the movement that she shows in its different forms and their ranges of colours and materials. Her creations are futuristic, modern, with a wide beauty touch.

Baroqco Jewelry

Designers Imelda and Eduardo aka Baroqco are citizens of the world . Their roots are from Dutch Chinese Indonesian and Portuguese descent, and this diversity is what provides foundation that leads to the inspiration and creation. BaroQco comes from Baroque, an era of change from simplicity to lively and exuberant detail. BaroQco stands alone with its unique grandeur and ability to surprise and to achieve a sense of awe. Imelda and Eduardo started to create jewelry as they were looking for a tiara or crown for their wedding day. At that time there were not a lot of options, so they decided to create their own tiara which lead others to ask whether they could also make necklaces and earrings.

« As we embrace the impressionism, we strive not only for the outer but especially for the inner-beauty. In our creations we want to push boundaries of artistic techniques. And therefore the BaroQco is a book without an End. »

The materials are opal ,gold and Swarovski and all the metalwork are nickel free, the usage of non toxic and – hazardous for plating makes the jewelry more ecofriendly.
