ERODNEY DAVIS

Some of the biggest stars in the world rely on Erodney Davis and his agency, Basic White Shirt, with its roster of the world’s most sought-after Celebrity Hairstylists, Makeup Artists and Nail Artists, to look their best.

After graduating with honors from North Carolina A&T State University in 1996, Davis accepted a job at ad agency, Y&R New York, while also moonlighting as part-time personal assistant to Celebrity Makeup Artist and Author, Sam Fine.

After more than a decade developing his acute business acumen alongside visionaries from the world of advertising, beauty and fashion, Davis changed course, leaving corporate America behind with only his savings and a desire to work in a more creative capacity. A month later, he began assisting top Casting Directors in NY, Paris & Milan, helping designers like Ralph Lauren, Proenza Schouler, Alice Temperley, and J. Mendel choose the most elite models of the moment to bring their designer collections to life on the runway.

During this time, Davis experienced a full-circle moment when Sam Fine tapped him to manage Fine’s freelance bookings and eventually other clients came calling, giving rise to Davis’ boutique agency, Basic White Shirt, boasting a cadre of talented beauty professionals. Davis continued casting models for New York Fashion Week for another 8 years while simultaneously running BWS. Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, Davis’ main focus is growing his agency’s roster with select, creative clientele and managing the needs of his world-class talent.

Agua Caliente Casino Resorts x L.A Clippers

Agua Caliente Casino Resorts and the Clippers organization have announced Agua Caliente’s partnership renewal for the 2018-19 season. Agua Caliente continues in its second season as Presenting Sponsor of the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario and its fourth as the Official Tribal Casino partner of the L.A. Clippers. The Agua Caliente Clippers, the L.A. Clippers’ G League affiliate that launched ahead of the 2017-18 season, start their upcoming season on Sunday, November 4, at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif.

The partnership will further the collaborative efforts between Agua Caliente Casino Resorts and the Clippers to preserve and promote awareness of local Native American Tribes in Southern California, while giving back to communities in the Coachella Valley and Inland Empire. Throughout the 2018-19 season, Agua Caliente will sponsor promotional nights at L.A. Clippers games that include Native American Cultural Night on November 15 and Fan Appreciation Night on April 3. In addition, The Show – Southern California’s premier concert theater located within the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif. – will present the Clippers’ DTLAC series at four Friday night DTLAC games this season. DTLAC nights celebrate downtown L.A. with special halftime performances, with the first on Friday, January 18. Last year’s performers included Nipsey Hussle, Problem and Kurupt. The partnership also includes in-arena signage, on-court promotions and hospitality elements.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Agua Caliente Clippers for a second season,” Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Chairman Jeff L. Grubbe says. “We are honored to have this G League team named after our people. This partnership continues our longstanding efforts to create awareness about our history and culture as well as our existence today.”

“It’s a privilege for us to continue our association with the Clippers organization for another season,” Agua Caliente Casino Resorts Chief Operating Officer Saverio Scheri III says. “The Clippers organization and our Agua Caliente Casino Resorts are both committed to providing an exceptional entertainment experience. We’re looking forward to another exciting season.”

“Agua Caliente has been an essential part of the Clippers experience for the past three seasons. Their support of the Agua Caliente Clippers was critical as we launched our new G League team, and their contributions to our game entertainment in L.A. help us ensure Clippers fans have the best experience possible,” says Gillian Zucker, President of Business Operations, L.A. Clippers. “But most importantly, Agua Caliente Casino Resorts and the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians understand what the Clippers stand for, and how important it is for us to work together to make a meaningful impact on our communities. We’re proud to partner with Agua Caliente as our organizations move forward together.”

“The Agua Caliente Clippers are excited to tip off our second season this weekend, and to continue our partnership with Agua Caliente Casino Resorts,” says Bryan Meadows, Team President, Agua Caliente Clippers. “Our friends at Agua Caliente were essential community partners as we introduced our team and its players to Ontario and we’re excited to grow each other’s efforts together in the future. We’re looking forward to celebrating our renewed partnership at the Agua Caliente Clippers’ home opener on November 4.

The first and only NBA or G League team to be named after a Native American Tribe, the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario are named for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, a federally recognized Tribe located in Palm Springs, Calif. The Tribe owns and operates the Agua Caliente Casino Resorts, which includes the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif., and Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs. With 31,500 acres of reservation lands that spread across Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, and into the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains, the Tribe also owns the Tahquitz and Indian Canyons recreational areas, and two 18-hole championship golf courses.

The Agua Caliente Clippers tip off their second season on November 4 under Head Coach Brian Adams at Ontario’s Citizens Business Bank Arena. During the team’s inaugural season, eight players that spent time on the Agua Caliente Clippers’ roster played significant minutes for the team on the NBA level.

Making True Friends Online: Reality Or A Fairytale

Human beings are sociable creatures requiring communication in their daily lives. What happens, though, when all the communication transfers from an offline space to an online one? How do people meet each other then? And how is to make new friends nowadays? No need to state that the Internet has changed the way we interact and live. Our task in these conditions would be to adjust to what we have and find ways to connect even in the digital world.

Some online communication tools like social media are well-known to us as they enable connections within the circle of people we somehow know or have a general idea about. This is made through special features of interest sharing and mutual friends. Others tools like random cam chat present us with an opportunity to video chat with a complete stranger about whom we know nothing but that he or she is interested in communications just as we are.

Why Random Chat Takes Over The Digital Space

If you are new to the whole concept of cam chats, here are a few things for you to learn first. They enable us to meet people from all over the world in real time and have a video conversation with those. Apart from being free and easily accessible, some of these tools also have differentiation in terms of people purposes and interest. Whether you want to mee the love of your life or a couple of interesting people, random chat is the solution.

Below are a few explanatory statements regarding the ever-growing popularity of online communication sites bringing people from all over the world together:

worldwide availability: if there is something present all over the world other than air, it must be the Internet. Obviously, some regions have issues with the Internet connection but that is not an issue for the majority people on the Earth. Therefore, if you want to meet people of all backgrounds and cultures staying in your comfy bed or room, you may easily do this with the help of the Internet connection;

new and interesting people: if you feel tired of your closest surrounding of people or simply want to try something totally different, you are free to use cam chats. Given the fact that your speaking partner will most likely be from the different continent, there is no way you will have a boring and non-enriching conversation;

effortless access: besides being free, these chats do not require you to have special equipment or anything else. The only thing for you to do is to go online and be yourself. If you are really interested in having some fun and making new friends, you should simply behave naturally and be able to connect to the video platform.

To wrap things up, all the stories about making new friends online are not fairytales. Despite social media, there are also some decent instruments for you to meet the most unexpected nationalities and personalities online at no effort. Therefore, try to disperse all the myths around online communications and go for it!

THE BEATLES × APPLE MUSIC

THE BEATLES RELEASE NEW “GLASS ONION” MUSIC VIDEO EXCLUSIVELY ON APPLE MUSIC
Premiere Includes Rare Beatles Performance Footage and Photos Ahead of the Upcoming Release of
The BEATLES (‘White Album’)

Enjoy a Sneak Peek HERE
As the world readies itself for the comprehensive new edition of The Beatles’ 1968 studio album, The BEATLES (‘White Album’), the group today launches a brand new music video for the album’s “Glass Onion,” available now exclusively on Apple Music. Beatlemania hit Apple Music back in December of 2015 and has continued to grow with streaming audiences ever since, more than 40% in the last year alone.

Here’s a special sneak peek of The Beatles’ new “Glass Onion” video:

Full of delightful surprises and featuring rare photos and footage from The Beatles’ vault, the “Glass Onion” music video takes fans on a journey into the creation of the pull-out poster from the ‘White Album.’ Working closely with Apple Corps Ltd., the video is produced by Richard Barnett and Layla Atkinson of Trunk Animation, and directed by Trunk’s director team Alasdair+Jock, who painstakingly reconstructed and vividly animated the original poster’s montage. The poster, created by ‘White Album’ art director Richard Hamilton along with Paul McCartney, was built on an easel at Hamilton’s north London studio, using images supplied by each of the individual Beatles.

The video presents treats along the way for fans to discover: clever animation, photo styling, and well-matched footage add movement and depth to the poster’s original imagery; a little yellow submarine is revealed in Paul’s bubble bath photo; Jeremy Hillary Boob, Ph.D. pops up from the Sea of Holes; an American flag pencil moves in eraser-first, representing U.S. censorship of the poster’s nude John and Yoko drawing; and much more.
Watch the brand new “Glass Onion” music video in full and catch up on all things The Beatles on Apple Music here: apple.co/GlassOnionMusicVid
For 50 years, The BEATLES (‘White Album’) has invited its listeners to venture forth and explore the breadth and ambition of its music, delighting and inspiring each new generation in turn. On November 9, The Beatles will release a suite of lavishly presented ‘White Album’ packages (Apple Corps Ltd./Capitol/UMe). The album’s 30 tracks are newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and mix engineer Sam Okell in stereo and 5.1 surround audio, joined by 27 early acoustic demos and 50 session takes, most of which are previously unreleased in any form

Greta Van Fleet “Anthem Of The Peaceful Army”

Anthem of the Peaceful Army (Lava Records/Republic Records), the full-length debut by Frankenmuth, Michigan’s Greta Van Fleet, enters the Billboard Top Album Sales chart at #1.  The album also came in at #1 on Billboard Top Rock Albums chart and #3 on Billboard 200 chart.  In addition, the album made impressive international debuts:  #1 in Canada, #3 in Germany, Top 10 in Australia and New Zealand, and Top 15 in the UK.

“Music has always been a centerpiece in all four of our lives,” said the band’s Jake Kiszka, “even when we were very young, when we first started hearing our parents’ blues, folk, and R&B records. So to be able to create the music we love, that so many people are hearing and responding to, is truly an honor.”
