Putin will not go to the funeral of the last leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, who died on August 30, because his work schedule does not allow it. “We know that the farewell ceremony will take place on September 3, and also the funeral, but unfortunately the president’s work schedule will not allow him to attend on September 3, so he decided to do it today,” he said. Dimitri Peskov (Putin‘s spokesman). The Russian leader said goodbye yesterday, September 1, to the first president of the Soviet Union at the Central Clinical Hospital in Moscow (Russia), before flying to Kaliningrad.

Seventeen – Face the Sun

K-pop stage-breakers SEVENTEEN are back with their 4th studio album Face the Sun.

Arriving 2 years and 8 months after their last full-length album, Face the Sun taps into the 13-piece act’s candid ruminations on their fears and aspirations in reaching for greater heights.

By likening their greatest fear and simultaneously their ultimate goal to the ‘Sun,’ SEVENTEEN boldly express their determination to venture forth through the lead single “HOT.” The accompanying video for the hip-hop based track is packed with intricate motifs and snippets of the song’s riveting choreography, raising anticipation for the high-caliber performances of the track to come.

Including “HOT” and the act’s first English single “Darl+ing” released in April, the new album consists of 9 tracks in total: “DON QUIXOTE,” “March,” “Domino,” “Shadow,” “‘bout you,” “IF you leave me” and “Ash.” As one of the team’s main producers and the leader of its vocal team, WOOZI co-wrote all 9 tracks.

Face the Sun set an all-time high pre-order sales record for SEVENTEEN early on, surpassing the 2 million mark a week ahead of its release.

The K-pop performance powerhouse will showcase live performances of selected tracks from the album during their comeback show on HYBE Labels’ official YouTube channel at 7 PM KST on May 28.

About SEVENTEEN:

Racking up 2 billion streams and selling 10 million albums, SEVENTEEN—comprised of S.COUPS, JEONGHAN, JOSHUA, JUN, HOSHI, WONWOO, WOOZI, THE 8, MINGYU, DK, SEUNGKWAN, VERNON and DINO—has rocketed to the forefront of the music scene fueled by a fiercely independent spirit and a nonpareil in-house creative ecosystem. The group’s innovative structure hinges on the interplay of three units: hip-hop, vocal, and performance. Living up to the title of “K-pop Stage-breakers,” SEVENTEEN has unassumingly made history and become one of the biggest groups ever due to their world-class synchronization, jaw-dropping choreography, and tight teamwork. Moving at an unparalleled pace, the K-pop stage-breakers made their U.S. television debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden in January 2021 and followed it with unforgettable performances on The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and MTV’s Fresh Out Live. SEVENTEEN’s latest EP Attacca debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and No. 13 on the Billboard 200. It sold over 1.3 million copies in the first week of release, earning the K-pop superstars the “quintuple million seller” title as it joins their last four consecutive releases—An Ode, Heng:garæ and ; [Semicolon], Your Choice—in selling over 1 million copies each.

Seventeen – Darl+ing VIDEO

Watch HERE.

K-pop stage-breakers SEVENTEEN just dropped their first English language single “Darl+ing” at midnight ET. Arriving ahead of their full-length album to be released in May, the single opens a new, heartfelt chapter in the band’s story.

Built on a sweet-sounding but addictive chorus and an enthralling line of synths, “Darl+ing” is an eloquent expression of the 13-piece act’s admiration for the idea of ‘togetherness’. Like many of their previous hits, “Darl+ing” is also a self-produced track. The leader of the band’s vocal unit WOOZI took part in producing the single, credited for both its lyrics and composition.

A cinematic depiction of a new chapter in SEVENTEEN’s journey, the accompanying music video is packed with ethereal aesthetics and hints about stories to follow. The video shows the thirteen members traverse past an idyllic world that overflows with light and venture into a state of darkness, piquing curiosity around the forthcoming full-length album.

As global fans welcome their highly anticipated return, the K-pop superstars are slated to present their very first performance of “Darl+ing” at 5 PM ET today on MTV Fresh Out Live.

SEVENTEEN’s collaborative project with Apple is also being launched in time for the release. The K-pop creatives and Apple embarked on the first K-pop Today at Apple Remix session today in Korea. During the 60-minute sessions to be held initially in Apple stores in Korea and then across Asia, attendees will discover more about the band’s creative process and be guided to create a one-of-a-kind remix of “Darl+ing” using GarageBand and Apple’s devices.

Le Rouge Lounge

Introducing Le Rouge Lounge, Wynwood’s avant-garde nightlife destination. Opened its doors on June 11, the 7,000 sq. ft. venue has taken a new spin on live performance entertainment.

Open Thursday through Saturday from 9PM through 3AM, this French-inspired enclave will serve as a destination for national music acts and world-renowned DJs, bringing a next-generation live music venue experience to the city.

Le Rouge Lounge is a meeting place where service is paramount and privacy guaranteed, where beauty in every form is nurtured and the unexpected is to be expected. It provides a luxurious and visually stimulating ambiance, highlighted by its vintage decor, state-of-the-art sound, video, and 3D mapping projection systems.

The lounge will be the first venue in Miami to be centered around a 360-degree DJ “in the round” booth, showcasing a diverse array of performers, DJs, bands, and solo artists in an intimate and upscale setting. It boasts a live stage draped in red velvet, spacious enough to accommodate a 10-piece band.

At Le Rouge Lounge mixology is an art form, with veteran mixologist Samer Abdallah crafting prohibition-era cocktails with an unexpected, modern twist. This intimate and upscale space allows publishers, influencers, decision-makers, movers & shakers to connect; it’s a space where synergies percolate, stars are born, and masterpieces are conceived.

With their dance card already booked with album release parties and city events including Swim Week Miami and Art Basel, Le Rouge Lounge promises to be the Magic City’s hottest destination for live entertainment and private events.

Tonight, and all weekend long, all house music lovers and entertainment-focused media are invited to experience the glitz and glam that is Le Rouge Lounge. Blending the best elements from the past and future with disco, electronic beats, prohibition-inspired mixology, and highly engaging video technology, Le Rouge guarantees all guests will be movin’ and groovin’.

Le Rouge Lounge is located at 318 NW 23rd St. in Miami, FL 33127, and offers valet parking, as well as the largest self-parking lot in Wynwood.

XOXO THURSDAYS

Every Thursday night, ladies can enjoy complimentary cocktails until 11 PM while enjoying Miami’s top DJs playing disco rewind beats with a modern twist!

Friday, August 6  DURANTE Takes Over Le Rouge

As a producer and DJ, Durante has drawn to the edge and intersections of house and techno. Raw rhythm and bass under tonal melodies resonate with his version of musical honesty. His style isn’t built on contrived pop formulas or lyrics about eternal youth. Instead, he starts with time-honored four on the floor, elaborates with thumping bass, builds mood with melodic chords, and garnishes with tribal percussive textures. Equally inspired by the compositions of Duke Ellington, classic Italo-disco, and early Cocoon records, Durante strives to create a body of work as versatile as his experiences.

Saturday, August 7  Phantoms “The Dive Tour”

Phantoms are a live electronic act that do exactly that. Often tough to box in…. their style is best described as blurring the lines of house music & indie-dance. Incorporating distinctive synth and drum patterns, the duo has become synonymous with their ‘genre’ of alternative electronica.

AREA21 – Pogo

Following the release of “La La La,” AREA21‘s debut single which has already surpassed 5 million combined streams, the adventure continues with today’s release of “Pogo.” The song exudes the feeling of being completely uninhibited, living life wild and free, which makes it the perfect soundtrack for the coming summer months. Written by Martin Garrix and Maejor, Martin also plays electric guitar on the track, one of the many talents from this multifaceted artist. Like most of their previous work, the track is a clean electronic dance bop.

AREA21’s video for “Pogo” picks up where “La La La” left off with the two alien travelers M & M having crashed landed on earth, standing on their recently crashed spaceship and running from the law. Their escape includes a very unorthodox mode of transportation and ends with a rest stop in a futuristic Las Vegas, Nevada.

About AREA21

The music of AREA21 follows a story arc of two alien travelers, M & M, who are tripping through the cosmos spreading a message of unity and good vibes when they accidentally come crashing to Earth. Their adventures are portrayed musically and visually throughout a series of songs and accompanying animated videos produced by award-winning animation studio, Titmouse (Run the Jewels, Dua Lipa,) set to roll out this spring & summer and culminating in an album due out this fall.
