George O’Hanlon – How Are You Feeling

Rising UK singer/songwriter George O’Hanlon makes his 2022 debut with his new single “How Are You Feeling?” available now via Harvest Records. Listen to “How Are You Feeling?HERE.

The single finds inspiration from rock icons like Radiohead, Springsteen, Nirvana and Slowdive. Throughout the track, intricate guitar work combined with an uplifting chorus makes it one you’ll want to give a listen to. “How Are You Feeling” also comes as the introduction to George’s full touring band on a single.

As a songwriter, George is able to showcase his true talents in the single. He states, “The song is about how you find your path as a person, especially during your late teens early 20’s, and the ups-and-downs that come with that. To me it’s a really positive song about people finding their way.”

Gaining practice through performing in the college circuit, George O’Hanlon has been perfecting his craft for quite some time. Working on his music by performing and writing for the past few years, George launched his career in 2021 with his debut EP, The Storm. While his musical inspirations range from artists like Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley and Thom Yorke, George’s music has natural literary soul. He captives his fans by referencing his own life experiences, outlining them in new perceptions.

While rising as a budding talent in the UK music scene, George has gained affirmation from Abi McCarthy at BBC Introducing and Jack Saunders at Radio 1. You can find George typically performing at grassroots venues, while he toured the UK last September with his band. They traveled to small venues around the UK together. Noting the experience, George exclaimed, “We spent hours with four of us crammed in a car with all our gear. The tough bits are service stations at 3 in in the morning and things like that but playing the shows made it all worth it.”

Puerto Rican-born, Corpus Christi-raised celebrated artist iann dior is known as one of the industry’s fastest growing artists in modern time. J.I.D. × Surround Sound

The Grammy-nominated, Dreamville rapper J.I.D. released “Surround Sound,” this past week, making it his first single of 2022. The single features fellow Atlanta rappers 21 Savage and Baby Tate.

Produced by Christo and DJ Scheme, the single follows J.I.D.’s journey into the rap scene and what it took to get where he now stands. At the 2:29 mark, J.I.D. showcases his notorious flow switch ups. The music video for the single was directed by Mac Grant and Chad Tennies, highlighting all three artists that are apart of “Surround Sound.”

“Surround Sound” follows the monumental announcement that J.I.D. would be apart of the Coachella 2022 lineup. This will be J.I.D.’s unveiling performance at Coachella.

The Dreamville/Interscope Records artist has, too, been awaiting the release of his highly anticipated future project. In the meantime, J.I.D. has been celebrating the successes of his recent collaborations with other artists. His latest collab with Imagine Dragons on the song “ENEMY” is the title song for the Netflix series Arcane. “ENEMEY” currently sits in the top 10 of Billboard Global 200, rising up the Billboard Hot 100 charts, now at #48. The collaboration of J.I.D. and Imagine Dragons has been exceptionally popular, stacking up a cumulative 151 million views on YouTube. A spike in these numbers came after the group performed the song live at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Paris Jackson’s Late-Night Debut

Paris Jackson made her late-night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! performing “let down” from her debut album wilted. This eleven-song album was released via Republic Records in early November. Upon its release, wilted received widespread critical acclaim and climbed to #1 on the iTunes US Alternative Albums Chart. Filmed at the world-famous Viper Room on the Sunset Strip, the performance illuminates the nuances of her presence and understated, yet palpable star-power.

Jackson has gained amazing reviews from a variety of publications. Rolling Stone labeled Jackson’s music as “well-crafted indie-pop,” while People said “Paris Jackson is blazing her own path in the music industry.” While talking about her album, wilted, the New York Post said, “There is a dreamy wooziness, a sultry torchiness, a haunting moodiness to ‘wilted’…”

H.E.R. Impresses with Live Performances

This past Saturday, H.E.R., the two-time Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter and musician, made her stellar debut on the iconic Saturday Night Live stage with captivating performances of “Damage” and “Hold On.”  The studio versions of both songs are currently available at all digital service providers.
