The unprecedented, intimate streaming experience will take viewers on a journey as compelling and audacious as Madonna’s fearless persona. Madame X is a secret agent traveling around the world, changing identities, fighting for freedom, and bringing light to dark places.

In other news, Madonna has announced her birthday wish for friends and supporters to adopt a bed at the Mercy James Centre hospital in Malawi, built especially for children. There are 50 beds in the hospital’s ward, where children recuperate after surgery or regain strength following intensive care. By adopting a bed, you can ensure that any sick or injured child that comes through the hospital doors has access to world-class specialized care. MABEL × POKÉMON – NEW SONG × VIDEO – TAKE IT HOME

Pokémon’s 25th-anniversary celebration continues with the release of “Take It Home,” a new song from BRIT Award recipient Mabel, who recorded it exclusively for the upcoming P25 Music compilation album. With an infectious beat and bright, summery vibe, the song celebrates being the kind of friend that others can count on. It was produced by Tommy Brown (Kanye West, Ariana Grande) and Mr. Franks (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber). Listen to “Take It Home” here. The compilation, which will be released this autumn by Capitol Records, is part of a massive, yearlong music campaign from The Pokémon Company International in partnership with Universal Music Group.

The playful official video for “Take It Home” finds Mabel trying to unwind in her hotel room after a busy day. Flipping through the channels on the television, she’s delighted to find a Pokémon channel. Comforted by the beloved characters, she falls asleep. In her dream, she follows a Jigglypuff down the hallway and together they explore the hotel, which has been transformed into a dark yet sparkling dreamworld. Mabel takes the stage, joined by a troupe of dancers, and a Pikachu makes a cameo appearance. View the video, which was directed by Sophia Ray (Ella Eyre, Little Mix, Amber Mark) and shot at London’s iconic Savoy Hotel, here.

“I’ve been a fan of Pokémon for years, so I jumped at the opportunity to join the P25 program,” said Mabel. “I had so much fun working with Pikachu and my all-time favorite Pokémon, Jigglypuff, for the “Take It Home” video. I hope the fans love the song as much as I loved working on it to celebrate 25 years of Pokémon!”

Mabel’s incredible talent and pop sensibilities add a massive layer of fun to Pokémon’s P25 Music campaign, celebrating 25 years of Pokémon,” said Colin Palmer, vice president of marketing, The Pokémon Company International. “Music fans are going to love ‘Take it Home’ and Pokémon fans will be delighted to see a Jigglypuff, known for being a bubbly Pokémon who also loves to sing, featured in Mabel’s vibrant video. It’s a pitch-perfect collaborative match for our 25th-anniversary celebration.”

Mabel is the latest artist to join the P25 Music Program, taking her place alongside Katy Perry, who contributed the new original song, “Electric,” Post Malone, who put his own stamp on the Hootie & the Blowfish hit “Only Wanna Be With You” and J Balvin. Mabel recently released her first new single of 2021, “Let Them Know,” a spirited anthem about projecting confidence even in times of trouble.

Fans can keep up with the latest news for P25 Music and more celebrations across the franchise on Pokémon’s 25th anniversary website at Pokemon.com/25Pokémon 25: The Album can be pre-saved here.

Pokémon and music fans are invited to join the conversation online with @Pokemon and #Pokemon25.

About Mabel

In the last year or so alone, Mabel has won the BRIT Award for Best Female Solo Artist, surpassed four billion streams and 2.2 million adjusted album sales for first album, High Expectations –  the biggest-selling debut by a British woman in 2019 – and added to her formidable catalogue of smash hits like “Don’t Call Me Up” with three more top 10s under lockdown. Futuristic, fearless and feel-good, her first single of 2021, “Let Them Know,” marked the unmistakable arrival of a new era and mindset for Mabel. If High Expectations documented a coming-of-age (and the fact you may actually spend a lifetime figuring it all out), her new material finds Mabel emboldened with experience. Her girl-next-door candor remains, but in embracing dance music’s generational ethos of expression, liberation and inclusion, you witness a woman moving firmly to her own beat. The Guardian hailed Mabel as a “warrior queen” and Vogue praised her as “unflinchingly honest, earnestly positive, and resolutely single-minded.”

KEEP COOL × YOURS TRULY × ADIDAS ORIGINALS – SONGS FROM SCRATCH

After a full week of sessions and 120 songs recorded, Keep Cool/RCA Records is gearing up to release the compilation EP, Songs From Scratch: Volume 1, on June 24th.

“Glory” feat. Mez, VanJess, ICECOLDBISHOP, Ginette Claudette, Gwen Bunn is the first offering from the upcoming compilation EP. Listen here.

Songs From Scratch: Volume 1 is a continuation of the adidas Originals and Yours Truly’s long-running Songs from Scratch series that has produced songs from Chance the Rapper, Kelela, Brent Faiyaz, Kehlani, Ty Dolla $ign, Mura Masa, Danny Brown, and more.

Songs from Scratch curator, Will Abramson says: “Songs from Scratch Vol. 1, is a natural extension of our ambition to put artists into positions where they can make things that surprise them, and us. For 9 years we’ve curated smaller 1:1 pairings but we always wondered: what would happen if we put a whole bunch of artists and producers in one place, took really good care of them and let them run free? We’re grateful to Keep Cool and adidas Originals for helping make that dream a reality.”

Keep Cool co-founder and EVP of A&R at RCA Records, Tunji Balogun says: “We started Keep Cool with the goal of bringing people together in the name of creativity, inclusivity and great art. Partnering with adidas on Creator Camp was a magical opportunity to connect artists from all walks of life in an unfiltered, authentic environment that exemplified the power of music in creating bonds and bringing creatives together.”

Home to some of today’s most exciting voices such as J.I.D, Bas, Ari Lennox, EARTHGANG, Lute, Omen and Cozz, it garners a cult like fan base across the nation and globally. 2019 started off with a bang for Dreamville with its “Dreamers Sessions” making viral news and headlines across the internet, its success continued with a noisy takeover at NBA All Stars in Cole’s home state of North Carolina with pop up shops selling exclusive pieces and Cole performing the All Star halftime show. The southern state got a double dose of Dreamville for the inaugural Dreamville Festival — which packed out the legendary Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, NC of over 40,000 fans — hosting live music from Dreamville artists as well as special guests like 21 Savage, Nelly, Teyana Taylor and more. Satiating the thirst for new music came the fiery track from J. The momentus album went on to receive critical acclaim and Grammy nominations including “Best Rap Album” and “Best Rap Performance” for lead single “Down Bad.”  The sessions, which spanned across multiple nights, birthed a body of music that transcends what happened at Tree Sound studios — where some of music’s brightest stars came together to quite simply; create.

YFL KELVIN FEATURED IN DEF JAM’S UNDISPUTED COMPILATION, OUT MARCH 8TH

READ “HOW DEF JAM PLANS TO RECLAIM ITS HIP-HOP CROWN” ON BILLBOARD.COM

“Cleveland is on the map in a big way… YFL Kelvin is certainly in the conversation of one of the most refined sound behind his ability to channel his come-up story.”

“YFL Kelvin is an Cleveland based emcee who has been battling adversities his whole life but his musical talent is about to change everything for him.”

ABOUT YFL KELVIN

For YFL Kelvin, hip-hop is the soundtrack to his struggle. “My story is rags to riches,” the 21-year-old explains. The Cleveland native has found solace in music since his father was gunned down—in an accidental shooting—when he was just five. Kelvin began recording out of his home studio, but music was secondary to the lure of the streets, taking his rap name from his biological father and the aspirational acronym “Young, Flashy, Lifestyle.”

The street life landed him behind bars on three occasions, “My little brother is in jail. Like, everybody who I used to be with is in jail.” No matter the tribulation, it doubled as a sonic inspiration. In 2016, his beef with a former friend sparked his first major release, “Mayweather Freestyle.” “I knew I was destined then. Something good was going to play out from all the tragedy that I’ve been through.”

2018’s “NASDAQ” would be the rocket that’d catapult Kelvin beyond Cleveland, released on YouTube the hit song has generated over 300k views. The remix with Moneybagg Yo will lead Kelvin’s first project, Out of Here.

ANDREW LLOYD: THE PLATINUM COLLECTION

In celebration of his 70th birthday, ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER UNMASKED: THE PLATINUM COLLECTION was recently released through UMe / Polydor.

As one of the most successful composers of the modern era, Andrew Lloyd Webber‘s repertoire includes some of the world’s most celebrated musicals; Sunset Boulevard, Cats, Aspects Of Love, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Starlight Express, The Phantom of The OperaSchool of Rock and Love Never Dies – to name but a few.

Last year, Lloyd Webber became the only person to equal the record set in 1953 by Rodgers & Hammerstein with four shows running concurrently on Broadway (Sunset Boulevard, Cats, The Phantom of the Opera and School of Rock). Two of his shows are currently running in both Broadway and the West End: School Of Rock and The Phantom of the Opera, and his musicals have grossed more than $13.6  billion and have been watched by 302 million people across 44 countries. He has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.

The collection is personally curated and overseen by Lloyd Webber to include classics from his earliest work starting with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat through his most recent School of Rock.

Of the new album, Lloyd Webber says: “I owe everyone involved in putting this compilation together a huge thank you.  A vast amount of thought has evidently gone into selecting tracks from my almost fifty year old career. This compilation brings back a heap of memories – it has made this ancient composer very happy.  I particularly love the new tracks and of course I love the orchestral suites. There’s nothing a composer likes more than hearing their melodies played by a cracking orchestra.”

Newly recorded songs from superstar artists Lana Del Rey (“You Must Love Me”, Evita), Nicole Scherzinger (“Memory”, Cats) and Gregory Porter (“Light at the End of the Tunnel”, Starlight Express) and add to the collection of his cherished works from the past five decades.

Of Lloyd Webber, Lana Del Rey says, “Andrew Lloyd Webber has been one of my primary inspirations in music, so to do a cover of one of his songs is a dream.”

Gregory Porter also expresses his admiration, “Andrew is an icon of not only musical theatre, but he’s an icon of music, our culture, and of our human experience.”

The Cats classic “Memory” by Nicole Scherzinger is available now as an instant grat track. Of being on the album, Scherzinger says, “Andrew’s music absolutely influenced me as an artist… It’s hard for me to fathom that I’m a part of one of Andrew’s career defining albums. That is in itself career defining for me. It’s a dream, and a lifelong accomplishment.”

The set also contains recordings by world-class performers such as Barbra Streisand, Madonna, Michael Crawford, Sarah Brightman, Michael Ball, and released for the first time, Beyonce singing “Learn To Be Lonely” from the 2005 Academy Awards with Lloyd Webber accompanying on piano.

UNMASKED: THE PLATINUM COLLECTION is available as 2 CD and 4 CD editions. The 4-disc version contains an exclusive 40-page book with a personally penned introduction from Lloyd Webber and in-depth notes on each track, written by respected theatre critic and Lloyd Webber biographer Michael Coveney, together with tributes from Barbra Streisand and Glenn Close among others.

The fourth disc encompasses a mix of overtures and showstoppers from Lloyd Webber‘s key works, as well as newly created orchestral suites. The five new orchestral suites have been specially prepared from existing recordings, emphasising the grand orchestral aspects of his work. All CDs were mastered at Abbey Road Studios.

Lloyd Webber‘s productions have sold more than 330 million tickets worldwide. The Phantom of the Opera is the longest-running show on Broadway and second longest-running show in West End history. Cats and The Phantom of the Opera are two of Broadway’s four highest grossing shows. The Phantom of the Opera original cast album is the No. 1 Broadway album of all time in the U.S. and the #175 biggest seller among ALL albums of the SoundScan era in the U.S.  In addition to his worldwide sales and audiences, Lloyd Webber has been recognised by critics and peers with numerous accolades and awards including seven Oliviers, seven Tonys, three Grammys, one Golden Globe and an Oscar.
