Thus far, it’s been the most insightful engagement for a myriad of reasons. One, it’s an opportunity for you to gain an intimate interaction from relevant professionals while sipping on crafted cocktails. Two, you’re being introduced to viable entities across various sectors. Three, it’s the inaugural program so there’s a ton of surprises.

Rosario Dawson stopped by La Bodega Baque – a curated bodega experience that celebrates the unstoppable spirit of the Latinx community and entrepreneurs with a curated collection by one of streetwear’s most significant voices and philanthropist, Angelo Baque and presented by UPS and AWAKE NY.

Today at ‘Glam Slam’ – a fashion and tennis experience, presented by IMG and Spring Studios, Serena Williams joined Nikki Ogunnaike for an exclusive 20- minute Q&A followed by an fashion showcase and fall fashion collection preview of curated looks from her S by Serena brand. The GOAT discussed being a mom; retirement and her new found “freedom,” learning from her sister Venus; and finding a work / life balance. Following the show, guests were able to shop the S by Serena retail pop-up.

Taking place during two of New York’s biggest tentpole franchises, the US Open and New York Fashion Week, Glam Slam was created to celebrate the intersection of tennis and style through a series of tennis match screenings, fashion panels, culinary offerings and DJ sets on the Rooftop Terrace of Spring Studios in Tribeca. IMG and Spring Studios partnered with Chase Sapphire for the inaugural event to develop unique program spanning fashion and sports, combining the best of both worlds and powered by On Location.

FASHION BOMB DAILY

This FBD presentation, hosted by Eva Pigford, was helmed by Harvard graduate and famous blogger Claire Sulmers. It offers a sneak peek into who’s next up in all things beauty and style while being surrounded by a small crowd of culture curators (Kevin E. Taylor, Vaughn Lowery) celebrities (Vivica A. Fox, Iyanla Vanzant) and design purveyors (Draya Michele).

BruceGlen was the crowd favorite. Their psychedelic colorways intertwined with geometric shapes will forever stain our brain like the popular Saturday morning cartoon, Scooby-Doo.

On the eve of the character’s 60th anniversary, Iron Man will begin a new era this December. Writer Gerry Duggan (X-Men) and artist Juan Frigeri (Avengers) will kick off a new run of IRON MAN’s solo title that will bring Tony Stark to his darkest depths only to rise greater than ever before! INVINCIBLE IRON MAN will follow Christopher Cantwell’s thought-provoking run on the title that concludes in November’s IRON MAN #750, the upcoming milestone issue that will give fans their first glimpse of what’s to come in this new chapter. The ongoing series will begin with Tony reflecting on the highs and lows of his 60 years of history, including digging up some classic armors and confronting old wounds, to overcome a devastating defeat at the hands of a Marvel villain who’s been making big waves throughout the Marvel Universe recently.

It all ends here? Tony Stark, the genius-billionaire-playboy-philanthropist, has lost it all: his wealth…his fame…his friends. But Stark doesn’t realize he still has so much more to lose, especially when a mystery villain puts out a hit on him! Every assassin around the Marvel Universe has come out of the shadows for Tony — and he has no idea who hired them! Will this cavalcade of killers close the book on Iron Man? It’s the beginning of the end, as the Golden Avenger must fight for his life and find out what it really means to hit rock bottom.

“It’s my privilege to try and follow Christopher Cantwell and his collaborators’ stellar run on IRON MAN heading into an anniversary year,” Duggan said. “Juan and I are going to introduce a new menace that is gunning for Tony Stark and his greatest creation. Reebok and Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) unveiled the second capsule in its Reebok x Looney Tunes footwear and apparel collection. Following a smaller capsule launch in China earlier this year, the line has expanded to feature a wider range of classic and sport footwear and apparel that honor the fun, frenetic nature of the Looney Tunes. The complete Reebok x Looney Tunes Collection will be available HERE beginning May 23rd exclusively for Reebok UNLOCKED members before becoming globally available on May 26th.

The first drop featured two footwear silhouettes, including the Classic Leather Legacy AZ ($95, GW4301) inspired by Bugs Bunny, and a limited selection of apparel. This collection continues the bold, energetic style that encourages wearers to unleash their inner party animal through some of Reebok’s most iconic footwear silhouettes including the Club C, Instapump Fury and Nano X1. See highlights below:

• Classic Leather Legacy AZ ($95, GW4301) – This ‘80s-inspired silhouette gets a makeover from the world’s most “wascally wabbit.” The grey and pink Classic Leather Legacy AZ pays homage to Bugs Bunny through the hairy suede materials and springy details that help the wearer bounce around like the trickster bunny. Marvel Comics will celebrate Pride Month with a new giant-sized one-shot spotlighting LGBTQIA+ creators and characters! A queer-centered anthology brought together by an amazing lineup of writers and artists from all walks of life, MARVEL’S VOICES: PRIDE #1 will feature eight extraordinary adventures, an introduction by Vice President of Television at Bad Robot Productions Alex Phillips, and more!

From uplifting to thrilling, this diverse collection of stories take place all throughout the Marvel Universe and celebrate the themes and joy of Pride Month. And today, fans can get a first look at each one!

·       In last year’s MARVEL’S VOICES: PRIDE, Steve Orlando and Luciano Vecchio introduced the dreamy mutant hero SOMNUS,  who now stars in the ongoing X-Men series MARAUDERS! Reebok × Power Rangers

Reebok, in partnership with Hasbro, debuts a second Reebok x Power Rangers collection. The line follows the original Reebok x Power Rangers drop, which launched in June 2021, that was inspired by the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers television series of the 1990s.

Reebok and Hasbro highlighted some of the most popular Mighty Morphin characters in the original Power Rangers show with the first collection. This new capsule collection shines a light on some of the most formidable villains featured throughout the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers show. Drawing inspiration from characters including Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, and Rito Revolto, this line brings to life some of the Power Rangers’ most worthy adversaries.

Footwear featured in the second Reebok x Power Rangers line include:

  • Instapump Fury “Rita Repulsa” ($200 | GW0782) – This Instapump Fury features all of Rita Repulsa’s signature markings from the icon on the pump ball representing Rita’s staff, to the bands on the tongue resembling Rita’s headband. Rita’s influence even seeps into the materials with pony hair featured on the heel cup to emulate Rita’s headware.
  • Hurrikaze II Low “Rito Revolto” ($140 | GY5928) – The upper of this Kamikaze II Low makes the shoe instantly recognizable as Rito Revolto as the neutral upper represents Rito’s bones and the camo application on the medial side suede resembles Rito’s outfit. Other warnings that this shoe is for villains only is that the sneaker’s tongue includes the Evil Space Alien callout on the right side and the “Danger Ranger” skull and crossbones on the left side.
  • Answer IV “Lord Zedd” ($170 | GZ6897) – Lord Zedd takes over this Answer IV with a red, rippled upper that resembles Lord Zedd’s body, silver overlays that nod to Lord Zedd’s armor and a blue tube along the lateral side which mimics Lord Zedd’s tubes. The villain even shows up on the outsole where Iverson’s face would typically be on this classic basketball silhouette.

Beyond the details above, each footwear silhouette contains a sockliner that marks signature moments or features of each character the shoe is inspired by. For example, the Answer IV Lord Zedd sockliner incorporates images of the ingredients in Rita Repulsa’s love potion that she used on Lord Zedd. Each shoe also comes in specialized packaging unique to its character, from the Instapump Fury Rita Repulsa’s “Rita’s Moon Dumpster” box to Lord Zedd’s box inspired by the Angel Grove Community Center.

Completing the collection are five pieces of apparel, including one hoodie, one long sleeve tee and three t-shirts. The hoodie is inspired by the Megazord‘s transformation and incorporates a hand-drawn Megazord emblem in the center graphic on the back of the piece. The long sleeve tee embodies the Green Ranger and features several details representative of the character, from his alias, Thomas

“Tommy” Oliver, to his “Dragon Dagger.” Finally, the three t-shirts are all in the style of retro arcade graphics and showcase both the heroes and villains of the Power Rangers franchise.

This Reebok x Power Rangers collection will be available in unisex sizing HERE beginning March 25th.Power Rangers is celebrating 29 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest- running kids’ live-action series in television history, with more than 900 episodes aired to date. MABEL × POKÉMON – NEW SONG × VIDEO – TAKE IT HOME

Pokémon’s 25th-anniversary celebration continues with the release of “Take It Home,” a new song from BRIT Award recipient Mabel, who recorded it exclusively for the upcoming P25 Music compilation album. With an infectious beat and bright, summery vibe, the song celebrates being the kind of friend that others can count on. It was produced by Tommy Brown (Kanye West, Ariana Grande) and Mr. Franks (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber). The playful official video for “Take It Home” finds Mabel trying to unwind in her hotel room after a busy day. Flipping through the channels on the television, she’s delighted to find a Pokémon channel. Comforted by the beloved characters, she falls asleep. In her dream, she follows a Jigglypuff down the hallway and together they explore the hotel, which has been transformed into a dark yet sparkling dreamworld. Mabel takes the stage, joined by a troupe of dancers, and a Pikachu makes a cameo appearance. This June, Marvel Comics will commemorate Pride Month with a new series of stunning variant covers by legendary artist Phil Jimenez! Spotlighting Marvel’s growing LGBTQ+ representation, Marvel’s Pride Month Variant Coverswill feature some of Marvel’s most popular LGBTQ+ heroes: Wiccan and Hulkling, America Chavez, Mystique, Northstar, Iceman, Moondragon, Black Cat, Daken, and the new Valkyrie, Runa. These stunning depictions will proudly adorn the covers of your favorite Marvel titles throughout the month of June.

I’m always blown away at how different things are now in comics when it comes to LGBTQ+ representation than when I started, and Marvel’s dedication to that inclusion,” Jimenez said. “As an (ahem!) older gay creator, I’m always thrilled by the opportunity to draw iconic LGBTQ+ characters from Marvel’s past and present, and grateful to contribute to Marvel’s future: one that truly represents the world — and the wonderful diversity of humanity — right outside your window.
