Myke Towers – La Pantera Negra

Global superstar Myke Towers releases “La Pantera Negra,” his sixth studio album, exploring his musical origins and the sounds that propelled his career nearly a decade ago. “La Pantera Negra” is now available on all digital platforms through Warner Music Latina.

La Pantera Negra” arrives in a year marked by success for Myke. The rapper released a hugely successful collaboration with world-renowned DJ Tiësto on the remix of “LA FALDA,” partnered with MLB for the “El Béisbol es Otra Cosa” campaign, received a nomination at the 2024 MTV VMAs for his global hit “LALA” in the Best Latin category, and graced the covers of Billboard Latino and Rolling Stone en Español, as well as their regional editions in Colombia, Mexico, and Spain.

MGK DAY

This year, the city of Cleveland will watch its hometown hero and multi-platinum recording artist, mgk, curate MGK Day. Rick Springfield Rocks Sammy’s Island at Palms Pool with a 75th Birthday Celebration to Remember

The summer heat was matched by the energy of rock legend Rick Springfield at Sammy’s Island at Palms Pool this past Saturday, August 17. Springfield, kicking off his 75th birthday celebrations, made a special appearance at Palms Casino Resort’s new Sammy’s Island hotspot before his sold-out acoustic concert with Richard Marx at The Pearl Theater later that evening.

The party at Sammy’s Island featured Springfield behind the Tiki Bar, where he poured his signature Jessie’s Girl cocktail, crafted with his Beach Bar Rum, a partnership with his good friend Sammy Hagar. The highlight of the day was a spectacular three-tier birthday cake, designed by Palms Pastry Chef, showcasing an amp, guitar, and images of Springfield’s iconic records.

GOTÜRKIYE APPOINTS HILAL DEMIREL

NEW YORK DIRECTOR OF THE TURKISH MINISTRY OF CULTURE AND TOURISM

Hilal Demirel has been appointed to head the New York offices of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, succeeding Hüseyin Baştürk.

Mrs. Demirel was born in Istanbul and graduated with a degree in Economics in 2005, completed a Master’s degree in Management Organization and Organizational Behavior, and a PhD in Business Administration, all at Hacettepe University.

Since 2006, she has worked at Türkiye’s Department of Promotion of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. From 2013 to 2019, she served as the Cultural and Promotion Attaché in Zurich, and in 2019 and 2020, Mrs. Demirel took on short-term roles as the Director of the Office of the Counsellor for Cultural Affairs and Promotion of Türkiye in Stockholm. Additionally, during work in Switzerland, she was responsible for promotional activities for Türkiye in Central European countries such as Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.

An avid tennis player, Mrs. Demirel is also a fan of Agatha Christie books, learning new languages, and baking.
