“The Dream Continues”

Leading Streetwear Brand, Milano Di Rouge, Celebrated 10 Years with “The Dream Continues” Fashion Experience and Gala in Atlanta

BMF’s Lil Meech, Rap Star Rich Homie Quan, and More Honor Milano Di Rouge’s 10 Year Anniversary.

Premier luxury streetwear brand Milano Di Rouge celebrated 10 years of success with their “The Dream Continues” Fashion Experience and Gala, in Atlanta, GA. The weekend kicked off Friday evening at The Stave Room, as Milano Di Rouge welcomed hundreds of longtime supporters to enjoy the innovative fashion experience and take a first look at the designs from their latest collection.

As guests approached the entrance, they were given boarding passes for a trip into the world of ‘dreamers’. The first stop included a first class photo opportunity inside a private jet, fitting the theme of the night. As guests entered the venue they were greeted with a custom pop-up shop with some of Milano Di Rouge’s top selling pieces as well as cocktails powered by D’usse. VIP’S enjoyed an exclusive MDR Sky Lounge, where they were able to connect with other like minded entrepreneurs ahead of the show and sip crafted themed cocktails such as the “Milano”. Flight attendants were heard across the speaker system, informing guests that it was time to “board the plane” as the show was about to begin. The show opened with a powerful performance by famed Black Ballerina, Jewel Ellis. She danced eloquently down the aisles to DJ Khaled’s hit record, “Grateful”, a reflection of the pulse of the brand and the 10 year celebration.

As the music began, the models graced the runway donning the latest designs Milano Di Rouge has to offer with bold prints, trending colorways and cutting-edge styles for men, women and children. Celebrities such as Lil Meech from acclaimed show “BMF”, rap star Rich Homie Quan, popular thought leader 19Keys, social media stars The McClure Twins and reality tv star Mendecees Jr walked the runway in support of the acclaimed brand. Renowned stylist Amiraa Vainqueur dressed all of the models, ensuring each look was elevated and high-fashion with a hint of edge. Several sponsors assisted in the success of the evening with prominent makeup line Crayon Case by Supa Cent providing makeup for the models and gift bags, womens footwear provided by Jessica Rich, hair extensions by Kendra’s Boutique, eyewear by Don Junk and Shop Boss Water gifted complimentary water for attendees.

Celebrity attendees included: NBA legend Rajon Rondo, fashion designer Latoia Fitzgerald, author and public figure Brandi Harvey, reality tv stars Yandy and Mendeecees Harris, rap artist Big Boss Vette, actress Nafessa Williams, rapper and tv personality Jazz Anderson, tv personality Persuasion, beauty influencer Chyna Dollhouse and real estate maven Quiana Watson.

Following the show on Saturday, Milano Di Rouge held their first-ever “The Dream Continues” gala, at the Biltmore Ballroom. The evening was a night of black excellence as guests celebrated the woman of the hour- Milan Harris. Outfitted in evening gowns and tuxedos, over 300 guests gathered for a VIP experience as they gave their flowers to the famed entrepreneur who paved the way for other people to make their dreams a reality. Celebrity sightings included: Supa Cent, Nafessa Williams, Quiana Watson and Rich Homie Quan, who surprised the audience with a special performance which kept the energy high. Milan gave an empowering speech at the gala and presented her team with custom Gamble jackets which are currently available on her site as well as custom t-shirt designed plaques to show her appreciation for their dedication to the brand throughout her 10 year journey.

“I’m overwhelmed by the continued support and love I’ve been shown throughout these past 10 years. Through the highs and lows we’ve been able to maintain integrity, quality and faith which our brand has been built upon. This journey has taught me so much and I’m determined to continue keeping the dream alive to inspire others to do the same”, Milan stated. The insightful and beautiful experience was curated by event producer Bysukii who delivered an elevated and memorable weekend.

Gemaine × Charlie Heat – No Questions

Compton singer/ songwriter Germaine and distinguished producer Charlie Heat teamed up to produce their upcoming album New Jack City, with top single “No Questions” dropping January 21. The debuting single drops with a music video, in which Gemaine’s vocal capabilities are highlighted, showcasing old-fashioned R&B ballads. The arrangement showcases simplistic production from Charlie Heat, making room for Gemaine’s diving vocals, before captivating keys and percussion swoop in.

Gemaine speaks about his inspiration for the single, stating, “I was inspired to write “No Questions” by a tweet that I saw from Issa Rae. She mentioned she was listening to Mint Condition’s “Breaking My Heart” and said she wished men today would be more like the R&B singers from the past. She was bringing attention to the fact that loving a woman used to be cool. It inspired me to make a record that had a similar energy but with a modern sound. I wrote this song to remind men that there’s nothing wrong with being soft-spoken and romantic with your girl.”

The debut of “No Questions” precedes the release of Gemaine’s Lefty EP, issued in 2020. The EP received critical acclaim by HotNewHipHopHipHopDXRated R&B, and more. With the arrival of the forthcoming collaboration album New Jack City between Gemaine and producers Ymtk and DJ Charlie Heat, we can only expect out-of-this-world work. The production affiliates operate as executive producers for the album, featuring credentials with artists Madonna, Ye, Kehlani, Lil Uzi Vert and more. The producers join forces in the project to illustrate Gemain’s creative concept with impeccable execution.

Gemaine and Charlie Heat knew that they struck gold working together on early studio sessions, shortly after deciding to team up on an artistic project. The upcoming album channels reference from old-school gangster films like edgy 1991 thriller New Jack City. Gemaine and his collaborators have generated a distinguished sound and essence for the album, producing brilliant tracks that highlight creative brotherhood stemming from the teams’ cooperative work ethic.

360 had the opportunity to chat with Gemaine about his distinctive R&B spirit, what he wants for the future of his career and how he plans on accomplishing it.

What makes you stand apart from other R&B artists?

I am genuinely moving with love, and being fearless about it. I think it’s bigger than me and my selfish needs. I love the music that inspired me and want to bridge the gap of where r&b is now and where it came from. I think my approach will do that, and I am a student of the game. If my music becomes popular, people will have to understand where it came from to do it and I’m not afraid to fail while doing so. Being a trendsetter ain’t easy but that’s what I’m striving to do. [To] create a new wave and a new appreciation to a different approach.

What can we expect from your upcoming album New Jack City?

Authentic chemistry from a group of guys who really love music, and who are not afraid to be themselves. I’m the voice to the music but the attitude and tone of the album is a collective effort

What is your goal for your career in 2022?

I would just love to be in the discussion of the “up next” artist to take over the game. I think I belong, and I know [that] if I get my foot in the door I’ll really do my thing

What is the biggest goal you aim to accomplish within your career?

Longevity and impact. Money is cool and fame is nice but having a legacy that outlives me is something I would be most proud of and strive for and what motivates everything I do. I want to be remembered. I want to be great.

About Gemaine

Compton native singer, songwriter and producer Gemaine is R&B’s up and coming star. Being initially introduced to music in church, Gemaine made his first public debut at the age of 18. In this debut, a video of him singing at a local Guitar Center went viral on TikTok, and this was when he decided to actively start pursuing music. Gemaine moved to New York City at the age of 19, where he uncovered the grit and hustle that would be needed to accomplish all his goals and dreams. Gemaine’s unique tone and modern vibe are reminiscent of artists like Al B. Sure and Bobby Brown. Gemaine takes inspiration from these artists, and aims to generate his own movement pushing for fresh R&B. What sets Gemaine apart from other mainstream artists is his sincere ambition and dedication. Gemaine is a perfectionist that places value on being enthralled in the artistic process of each of his records. His passion for R&B music paired with his impeccable ability to connect and transmit his vision through his craft make him an artist that is steadily on the rise.

Khamari – Doctor, My Eyes

KHAMARI RELEASES NEW SINGLE “DOCTOR, MY EYES”

LISTEN HERE

“It’s challenging to strike a perfect balance between lyrical vulnerability and catchy songwriting, but this is exactly what Boston native Khamari accomplishes with every song.” – Pigeons & Planes

“Khamari makes music that is personal and intimate as well as relatable and engaging.” – Ones To Watch

“His mellow R&B sound is a dream.” – Fashionably Early

“There’s so much melodic and textural variety that you’ll still be finding little gems after repeated listens.” – Daily Chiefers

Today, Los Angeles based, Dorchester raised songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist artist Khamari releases a new song “Doctor, My Eyes” – listen HERE. Both sonically and emotionally, “Doctor, My Eyes” finds Khamari in an introspective space as he documents the weight of feeling too much and losing self-awareness. The new song is produced by Khamari, Trackside and Johan Lenox.

‘Doctor, My Eyes’ is about looking for perspective. When I wrote it I had moved from Boston to LA and was trying to make sense of my life. A lot of things were shifting too fast to keep up with, but things I hoped would change stayed the same. I got put on to this Jackson Browne record, and the story resonated with me. That’s where I got the title. It’s about him being desperate to make any sense of his life and experiences. Then a friend played me Incubus, the song ‘Mexico’. I knew I wanted to lay out these thoughts over a guitar that intimate. In the outro my grandfather is the voice that gives me advice because he’s always been an anchor for me.

A multifaceted artist, Khamari grew up in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, MA. Skilled as a vocalist, pianist, and guitarist, and growing up playing instruments ranging from the French horn to the violin, he left Berklee School of Music in 2017 to become a musician full time. Khamari’s music is distilled from influences ranging as wide as The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Sly Stone, Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi and Mac Miller.

In 2019, Khamari released his debut EP Eldorado which took listeners on a journey through his inner struggles, his relationship issues, and honest vision for himself as an artist. This introduction was met with abundant praise, landing the cover of Fresh Finds on Spotify, additional playlisting on Apple Music FEELS, Amazon’s The New Black and Breakthrough R&B, and as cover artist for Tidal’s Pop: Rising. Pigeons & Planes named Khamari a Best New Artist for the month of December 2020, stating that Eldorado “allows you to disengage from the world around you and pulls you into his own personal but relatable stories.”

His next step is to continue the hunt for the intersection of timeless musicality and contemporary style, all without losing the honest accessibility which made him relatable from the start.

Holiday Destinations of Influential Women

8 Dream Holiday Destinations of Influential Women

Everybody needs to get away from time to time. And the rich and powerful are no exception! In fact, the stress and responsibility of holding an influential position and being constantly in the public eye can make the idea of a holiday even more appealing.

MyLateDeals has researched where the world’s most powerful women choose to go when they finally get a chance to let off some steam.

Queen Elizabeth II

You might think being the longest-reigning Queen of England would be an easy ride. But while Her Majesty may not have to worry about paying the bills each month, she has dealt admirably with personal trauma and national crises over the past seven decades – and remained adored by the national and international public the whole time.

Of course, no British royal is short of a holiday home or two. For Queen Elizabeth, 50,000 acres of moors, forests, and farmland at Balmoral Castle in Scotland provide both privacy and fresh air away from London life.

“I think Granny is the most happy there,” revealed Princess Eugenie a few years back. “I think she really, really loves the Highlands.”

Madonna

The Queen of Pop is the best selling female recording artist of all time and her influence on today’s music culture is inestimable. But rising to the top of the industry wasn’t easy – especially in the sexist atmosphere of the 1980s: “I’m tough, I’m ambitious and I know exactly what I want,” explains Madge. “If that makes me a bitch, okay.”

Madonna may be the archetypal urban woman, but when it’s time to get away nothing less than paradise will do. Soneva Fushi, an idyllic island in the Maldives, is the artist’s “definition of heaven – [a place for] riding bikes in the moonlight and watching movies under a starlit sky.”

With visitors able to reserve their own stretch of sun-baked sand far from the 24-hour news cycle, Soneva Fushi is a place where Madonna needn’t worry about reading, or becoming, hot gossip.

Oprah Winfrey

Talk show host, motivational speaker, philanthropist… president? Such are Oprah Winfrey’s levels of empathy and talent, it’s impossible to rule out quite what she’ll do next. And that’s just what you see on the surface: Winfrey’s business acumen is so sharp that they even teach college courses about it.

Like the Queen of England, Winfrey has an impressive property portfolio and holiday homes to spare. Her first choice destination is her ranch on Maui, Hawaii, where landscape and spirituality walk hand-in-hand: “The real substance and value of being in Hawaii is the unspoken “spirit” of the people and the surroundings,” she writes. “Hawaiians understand that the soul of the land is what matters.”

And what does a talk show host talk about on her time off? “We chat, laugh and rate the sunsets according to their magnificence.”

Pink

While her closest competitors embraced the hyper-sexualisation of early-noughties pop culture, Pink showed the world that it’s possible to stay true to who you are and still make a success of yourself. She has been a true ‘mainstream alternative’ in an age of mass production.

The singer and songwriter finds escape through a vastly different culture: that of the Indonesian island of Bali. She relaxes and has fun with her kids by attending cooking classes, chilling on the beach, and taking in traditional dance and music shows.

“Thank you to the people and the ocean and the energy of Bali,” Pink effuses on Instagram. “We love you.”

Beyoncé

They say the way to Carnegie hall is practice. For Beyoncé, building the stamina to blast stadium audiences with her formidable voice was apparently a matter of running around the block singing at the top of her voice by way of ‘working out’ in her youth. Her talent and hard work have won her 22 Grammy awards and a unique position in 21st-century western culture.

It’s Europe for Beyoncé and hubby Jay-Z when they want a break from the intensity of American living. The French Riviera (including Monaco, Cannes, and St. Tropez) may not be as remote as Bali or Soneva Fushi, but combining the deluxe privacy of a mega-yacht with the bustle and glamour of dining out along the Côte d’Azur seems to do it for the Knowleses.

Meghan Markle

Markle has brought a touch of reality to the royal family, and is becoming an important ambassador not just in diplomatic circles but between everyday people and the British elite. But even before she wooed Prince Harry, sixth in line to the throne, Markle was celebrated both for her acting and for her political activism.

So it’s no wonder her downtime with Harry is often spent in Africa, the continent where the couple pursue a great deal of charitable work. They keep things relatively real at the £580/night Mapula Lodge in Okavango Delta, Botswana, where thatched huts and outdoor showers overlook a stunning lagoon.

“I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana,” said Harry of one of their early ‘dates.’ “We camped out with each other under the stars.”

Michelle Obama

‘First Lady’ was never a title that Michelle Obama was going to accept lightly. The Princeton and Harvard graduate worked as a lawyer and in prominent government positions before cutting back to raise her daughters and become an ambassador for human dignity and justice alongside her husband.

Obama’s holiday plans are as unpretentious as you would expect. Every year, she and her family arrive on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, where the Obamas cycle, play tennis, eat ice-cream, and spend quality time with their dogs, Sunny and Bo.

It’s more about wholesomeness than glamour – but you can be sure Obama returns to her daily routine refreshed and inspired.

Serena Williams

Some say Williams is the greatest female tennis player of all time. But the consensus errs towards her in fact being the greatest athlete of all time, regardless of gender. An astonishing 23 Grand Slam titles – including winning the Australian Open while two months pregnant – would be inspirational enough even if you didn’t consider the extent to which she’s set herself ahead of her rivals and the adversity she’s overcome to get there.

Romantic Rome is Williams’ destination of choice. She met her husband there while breakfasting with friends at the Cavalieri Hotel in 2015; he proposed to her on the same spot a year later.

As she told Traveller: “Rome is one of my favourite cities in the world! It’s such a magical place and I have so many wonderful memories there.”

Want to know which holiday destination is right for you? MyLateDeals has created  a quiz to determine which holiday and inspirational woman you have the most in common with, so prepare to find out.

ACJ319neo Infinito, a flying artwork

“Entering ACJ Infinito means exploring a place of wonders, where each element, space, and color are hand-stitched around the needs and requirements of the client, transforming them into emotion and inspiration”.

ACJ319neo Infinito is an ultra-luxurious jet born from the shared passion of Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) and Pagani Automobili, which decided, in 2016, to combine their artisanal skills and pioneering vision in order to create something absolutely unique.

The Infinito cabin represents the quintessence of the Pagani philosophy in a state-of-the-art aircraft: a distinctive style, seamlessly combined with unrivalled material technology. Infinite, just like man’s gaze towards the horizon and beyond.

After tireless work and profound study of the physical and sensorial aspects of air travel, the two companies now present new values and ideas of travel aboard an aircraft, which, from a mere means of transport thus becomes a place of emotion and inspiration, without sacrificing important engineering achievements. ACJ Infinito is, in fact, a made-to-measure work of art entirely designed around the sensations and the emotions of the client.

All Airbus corporate jets come from the most modern family of aircraft on the market and offer the highest world standards of care in corporate aviation. ACJ customers are always part of a dedicated and exclusive community, they are provided with a dedicated service wherever they choose to fly in the world. They purchase much more than a product: they invest in their future, for a unique flying experience.

For the first time, two different worlds, two centres of excellences come together to give birth to a unique project: an aircraft that mirrors Leonardo Da Vinci’s principle of Art and Science: the harmony of beauty and engineering, both in the outcome and in the way of working. Pagani has always been a creator of tailored clothes and high-performance hypercars, whose technical content also exudes passion, technology and research into unique designs. Every object is unique, every creation is an art object that inspires and thrills with its lines and forms. The ideal of beauty is taken to a whole new level with the Infinito cabin, conveying the same emotions as a work of art, nurturing the mind and the senses, as well as relaxing the body during travel.

Detail, spaces, colors. “Each sensation conveyed by Infinito has to be the same as that conveyed by a work of art. These are the emotions we live for and we simply can’t live without,”tells Horacio Pagani, Chief Designer and Founder of Pagani Automobili, about the project, its main inspiration and the collaboration with ACJ.

“We were emotionally involved from the beginning. The project seemed challenging, to say the least.” The Modenese Atelier of hypercars has deployed its extensive experience in composite material and provided Class A tailored carbon fiber components, despite the high investments and production costs. “We have the technology, knowledge and skill for this project,” emphasises Horacio Pagani on the challenges that emerged in the process, “and we do want to invest in this direction.” Pagani’s expertise and advanced composite materials are used in the interiors of an airplane for the very first time, including carbon fiber and carbo-titanium, saving about a tonne compared with other similar projects, thus improving both range and take-off performance.

The interiors are designed around the client’s flight experience, with thorough attention to physical sensations and feelings. “We started with the client, around him we created a relaxing and comfortable environment, not only for the shapes and the design, but also for the visual sensation, for which we followed some chromotherapy principles. Even the smallest detail was given the maximum attention, so as to dynamically assist the client’s sensations across different time zones.” Infinito’s sky ceiling, entirely lined with digital displays, offers a play of light and images, for example, by projecting a sunset or a starry sky, minimising the physical and mental effects of jet lag.

“The feel of the materials, the warmth of the leather or the wood, the intelligence and sinuosity of the spaces, each detail has to convey emotions of peace and safety, like when we’re home or in a familiar and inspiring place.” continues Horacio Pagani on the choice of materials and the habitability of the aircraft. “Our idea is of a single, great space which fosters both movement and sensorial perceptions.” The absence of visual barriers, and the sense of infinite vision that surrounds the client, are the objectives of this tailored creation, simple but essential elements to facilitate a journey of several hours. The compartments inside are, in fact, provided with opacifying glass, when privacy is wished, supported by a carbon fiber framework, hand-made by the Modenese artisans, a homage to the first air inventions of the past centuries, and at the same time a highly robust solution.

ACJ319neo’s interior was entirely designed not only for artistic appeal, but also to be functional: after thorough research on internal spaces and volumes, ACJ Infinito’s compartments provide larger capacity while being less intrusive than other interior designs.

The feeling of hospitality in this ultra-luxurious jet continues with the choice of the single spaces within the aircraft. “At the entrance, a cafe. A genuine and heartfelt way to welcome your client is, of course, by providing refreshment!”. The feeling of familiarity, of home, that you can breathe within Infinito sometimes makes us forget about being on an airplane. This is the uniqueness that ACJ and Pagani Automobili have been striving for in the making of this flying artwork. Home is a safe and peaceful place, as well as a place of inspiration and emotions. Infinito aims to project the client into the same atmosphere of absolute relaxation, to stimulate his imagination and inspiration, reshaping the time of the journey into a time of ideas, visions and answers.

Ari Lennox’s “Whipped Cream”

Singer Ari Lennox releases her music video for “Whipped Cream” and it is EVERYTHING.

As Ari croons over unrequited love, she is whisked away by “vivid dreams” of an old beau which leaves us all to ponder if these are true meanings or figments of her imagination.

Director Ryan Doubiago and producer Darius Turbak embrace Ari’s essence beautifully; capturing her sultry appeal and affinity for classic soul to produce a visual which is timeless with a touch of nostalgia.

The Washington D.C. native dropped her debut EP, PHO, in late 2016. PHO showcased Ari’s immense talent while highlighting her position as the only female and sole vocalist of her crew.

In 2017, Ari joined J. Cole on his 4 Your Eyez Only Tour. She is slated to perform alongside her labelmates at the Dreamville Festival September 15th in Raleigh, NC.

Teleport/Island Records artistBishop Briggs, whose massive RIAA-certified gold single “River” amassedover 40 million global streams and soared to #3 on the Alternative chart, releases her new video for her single“Dream” today! Directed by Dano Cerny (credits: The Chainsmokers’ “Closer” featuring Halsey, Elle King’s “Good Girls”, and many more) and shot on location in Los Angeles, the Wes Anderson-inspired video follows Bishop through a never-ending dream where she finds the strength to overcome depth and darkness. Watch the official video for “Dream”here. “Dream” will be included on Bishop’s highly anticipated debut album, due in Spring 2018.

“I’m really proud of this music video. I feel like Dano very fearlessly dove into the mindset of a dream sequence; full of characters and haunting visuals. It was really important that “Dream” kept the balance of strength and total vulnerability – which was my exact headspace when it was being written. It’s a rare moment when you truly feel that the visual matches the words you’ve written on the paper but I think Dano proves that there can be perfect harmony between the worlds.” – Bishop Briggs

About Bishop Briggs:
Born in London to Scottish parents, Bishop Briggs grew up in Japan and Hong Kong. Days after graduating high school, she moved to Los Angeles where, after years of performing at any venue that would have her, she was discovered in a small hole-in-the-wall by a former-A&R rep and the rest was history. The music of Bishop Briggs transcends the limitations of singular genres, blending folk, pop and electronic music into a wholly unique sound. Her debut track “Wild Horses” reached #1 on Spotify’s US Viral Chart and #2 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 charts, with airplay on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation, Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Show and a prized spot in Acura’s 2016 TLX and ESPN’s NFL Playoffs ads. She followed up with RIAA-certified gold single, “River,” a searing and cathartic track that has captured the attention of tastemakers and gatekeepers and rose to #3 on the Alternative chart with over 40 million global streams. Fresh off her sold out debut headlining tour, her critically acclaimed self-titled Bishop Briggs EP release, and live performance opening slots for Coldplay, Kaleo and alt-J, Bishop Briggs is one of 2017’s biggest breakout artists. She has performed on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (watch that performance HERE), NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers (watch that performance HERE), TBS’ Conan, and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!
