3 Reasons Colombian Coffee Is Considered The Best

If you are thinking of giving coffee a try for the first time, or if you want to change the particular beans that you have been using by now, there is one thing that you should definitely keep in mind. Colombian coffee is considered to be the best in the whole world practically and that speaks volumes of its quality. Why is that so, though?

Why does this particular type stand out so much? There’s no doubt that you can find the very best colombian coffee on the market and taste it in order to check its specific taste and quality, but here’s the thing. You probably first want to know why it is considered to be the best in the whole wide world. Well, it’s time to give you an explanation.

You are either trying to find this out just because you want to soothe your own curiosity, or you are actually searching for the right beans to buy. Whatever the case may be, one thing is for sure. You want to know the reasons why Colombian coffee is so esteemed, so that you can determine whether those reasons are enough for you to try it out. So, let us take a quick look at some of the most important reasons that you should have in mind.

The Geographical Location Plays A Role

Here is the first thing you should understand. Coffee needs to be grown in the right environment in order for it to be of great quality and to thrive. Sure, you could try growing it anywhere you want and you could perhaps succeed, but the point is that the geographical location plays a huge role in its quality. Well, Colombia definitely has a lot to offer when it comes location.

To put things simply, this country has the ideal weather conditions and the perfect soil, meaning that the beans planted there will most definitely thrive and prosper. The climate is also amazing, as the country gets both enough sunlight and rainfall, and those two things certainly play a part in the quality of the coffee that’s grown. So, the first reason why Colombian coffee is the best is because it grows in the best possible conditions.

This is what you should know about this particular product: https://www.littlecoffeeplace.com/colombian-coffee-guide

Growing & Harvesting Methods Are Also Important

In addition to being grown in the perfect locations and weather conditions, the truth is that these beans also need to be cultivated the right way. In other words, the human factor plays an important part in the quality. One of the reasons why Colombian coffee is considered to be the best is because people are rather committed to using the right growing and harvesting methods.

Simply said, those growers are dedicated to the work they do and they are determined to make the very best products. The best part is, it seems that they are succeeding in doing that. For starters, they make sure that the beans are grown on steep slopes, so as to be surrounded by trees to provide them with the shade they need. Then, there is also the fact that the beans are said to be hand-picked, which is a rather careful method that can make all the difference in the world.

The Type Of Beans Matters

If you have tried out Colombian coffee, then you must have been happy with the taste, because finding a person that doesn’t find this product delicious is extremely difficult. In fact, people seem to be obsessed with these particular beans, as explained on this page, and there are definitely quite a few great reasons for that. The type of the beans is most certainly one of the reasons. What does that mean, though?

In case you aren’t quite sure what I mean when I mention bean types, let me explain. Arabica is one of the types that is considered to be superior when compared to the second type that’s called Robusta. Thanks to the terrain and the general geographical conditions, Colombia actually produces 100% Arabica beans. Given the type of beans, the terrain and the care with which coffee in Colombia is grown, it’s no wonder that it is considered to be the best in the world.

Tea Drunk

Tea Drunk is a Certified Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise in New York City and is known for being the most prestigious Chinese tea house in the North America. Founder and Tea Expert Shunan Teng travels to the historic tea mountains of China each spring to commission some of the rarest tea in the world to showcase their top terroir, superb craftsmanship, and true-to-origin varietals.

Shunan commissions and sources teas in the most conservative fashion to bring discerning connoisseurs the utmost traditional essence of historical teas. Teas that are meticulously curated like Gua Pian Green Tea (Melon Seed Tea) from Lu An. Lu An is one of the oldest tea-making regions in China with over 1000 years of tea-making history. This historically famous style of tea goes through a unique La Da Huo processing step that gives the tea a pleasantly toasty flavor that compliments its grassy umami taste, buttery mouthfeel and bold sugary undertone. We feel this flavor profile and mouthfeel rivals that of the hip Japanese Matcha. Gua Pian is being highlighted as the next trend in tea, with whole loose leaves, there is a lower extraction rate of caffeine, allowing your body to get all of the benefits of the complex compounds found in green tea (such as l-theanine and catechins) with a more body friendly level of caffeine.

Although many different flowers and herbs can be dried, steeped in hot water, and called “tea,” actual tea leaves come from the plant camellia sinensis. From just this one plant alone, humans discovered that through manipulation of heat, moisture, and physical disturbance of the tea leaves, this one plant can yield almost endless variations in taste and aroma. It’s a fragile ancient art form and through education and access, Tea Drunk aims to cultivate awareness in preserving it for years to come.

You can also increase your level of tea savvy straight from the source with Tea Drunk. Experience teas such as Gua Pian right from the comfort of your home (or wherever you may be) with Tea Drunk’s Educational Tea Club. Their twice monthly expert led Zoom sessions allow you to travel deep into your cup and senses in a welcoming community of tea lovers. They have two tiers of sessions, a Sampler and a Reserve, with the Reserve specializing in the highest tier of rare teas. Each box is hand curated based on concepts such as vintage, location, or theme to help you develop your palate in comparative tastings. The tea club grants you unparalleled access to transparency and high-quality education while having a blast exploring teas with others virtually.

Shunan, is an avid educator on tea and has spoken at many prestigious institutions including: Yale University; Christie’s; Van Cleef & Arpels; World Tea Expo; and Stony Brook University. She has collaborated with the Metropolitan Museum of Art to execute a temporary Chinese tea house in the museum and is the educator for TED Ed lesson – The History of Tea

It’s truly an experience that goes well beyond any other tea subscription service on the market. You are able to deepen your personal tea knowledge alongside other like-minded individuals and grow together in community while connecting with this ancient art form of traditional tea processing. It’s an act people have been doing for tens of thousands of years, and today we get to do the same thing with people all over the world. With Tea Drunk, tea is not just a beverage; it’s an experience meant to be savored and shared.

CBD and Coffee: What You Need To Know

A daily routine for most people is drinking a cup of coffee in the morning. However, it can produce negative side effects like – feeling anxious, jitters, increased heart rate, etc. So, it’s no surprise that people started adding CBD into their cups of coffee. You may be wondering if adding CBD to your coffee will do anything; here is what you need to know about CBD and coffee.

The Stimulating Effects

It’s no secret that coffee has stimulating effects that most of us enjoy; this is the reason why we drink it after all. This can include a sense of being alert and concentration. Although it sounds nice it can quickly escalate into anxiety and other side effects. Therefore, it only makes sense why people decided to start adding CBD into their coffee. When you’re trying to relax you may reach for a CBD Tincture. So, naturally you’ll want to add it to your coffee to give it that boost you’re looking for. Plus, the added terpenes can make your coffee experience slightly better.

The best way to include CBD into your coffee is by adding a couple of drops in your cup. However, you want to make sure the coffee is not scalding hot. Otherwise you run the risk of burning the CBD, causing it to lose its potency. Instead, try adding a couple of drops after you’ve added your milk . Or, you could let your coffee cool down before you decide to add a couple of drops. If the coffee is too hot to drink then it’s too hot to add CBD. Also, try pairing up different Tincture flavors to your coffee to better the taste. This way you’re enjoying your coffee while taking in some CBD at the same time. There are a couple of other popular methods of enjoying CBD with Coffee.

Vaping CBD and Coffee

There are some people who enjoy smoking a cigarette with their coffee. They do this because they feel that it gets their metabolism going. However, you are able to vape some CBD and enjoy a nice cup of coffee at the same time. A good product to try this with is our Active Full Spectrum CBD Pen. This vape pen comes infused with caffeine, full spectrum CBD, and Terpenes. Since coffee already has caffeine, adding more caffeine to the equation can enhance your coffee experience. It might not get you the same effects as smoking a cigarette but it’s a great alternative.

Sublingual

Another option that you have is taking CBD drops sublingually. When you finish your cup of coffee you can put some CBD oil under your tongue. This way you can chill with some CBD after you’ve finished your coffee. You’re able to get CBD into your system without spreading it out in a cup of coffee. You’ll want to stick to this method if you’re the type of person that doesn’t tend to finish your coffee. That way you’re not leaving behind any CBD.

What Kind of Coffee to Use

With many new companies and cafe’s emerging a common question is what kind of coffee to use. Although it’s ideal to use a water soluble CBD instead of oil soluble; CBD oil can work great with coffee. A lot of new products offer CBD infused coffee that just requires warm water to enjoy. However, the type of coffee used depends on your preference.

For ready made-infused coffee a Keurig cup is probably the best option. This is because you know how much CBD you’re getting in every cup. However, other infused brands do offer an estimate but won’t always be an exact amount. Although these are great, we still would recommend taking your CBD sublingually after you’ve enjoyed your cup.

The Right Dosage to Take

You might be wondering what is the right dosage to take. Many people tend to jump right in to taking CBD and that’s ok. CBD might be new to you or you might be a seasoned veteran and have been taking it for years. Whatever the case might be the right dosage depends on several things.

First, start with the recommended dosage on the bottle. You will have to consider the strength of the CBD in questions. Dosages vary depending on the strength. If you have a higher strength form of CBD a little will go a long way. However, it might be higher in price; but it tends to last longer. This is because you will not need as much to get the desired effects.

Conclusion

Pairing the right CBD with your morning cup of coffee is a great way to start the day. You will enjoy the stimulating effects of how CBD interacts with coffee. How you take your CBD is as equally important as what type of coffee you choose. Pairing the right cup of coffee with the perfect amount of CBD makes for a great experience. We encourage you to be bold, and try something new – you might fall in love with the combination.

Coffee Capitals of America

By Hannah DiPilato

With National Coffee Day on September 29 followed by International Coffee Day on October first, Wren Kitchen delved into the nation’s coffee-drinking habits to see which states have the greatest consumption of everyone’s favorite hot beverage.

Their research revealed that The United States drinks 48 billion cups of coffee each year, they have discovered the number one coffee capital of the United States, and the data shows which region has the highest demand for the caffeinated favorite.

Coffee represents much more than just a drink. It’s a wakeup call bright and early in the morning, a chance to catch up with old friends or a moment for yourself in the middle of a chaotic workday. Pouring yourself a cup of coffee in your kitchen sets you up for the busy day ahead.

There’s no doubt The United States is a coffee-loving nation and a new report by Wren Kitchens has revealed which state craves coffee the most. They have also illustrated which iconic landmarks each state could build with coffee cups based on the coffee consumption of citizens. Grab a cup of joe and read on to find out how your state ranks.

Oregon has been crowned the ultimate coffee capital drinking over 113 Empire State buildings worth of coffee every year. The Beaver State shows that it’s citizens drink the most coffee based on the demand for coffee and population size.

The state consumes more than 624 million cups of coffee per year and if you were to stack up this number of coffee cups in real life, Oregon would drink enough coffee to create 113 Empire State buildings each year.

With Oregonians having such an appetite for their cup of Joe, search data shows that 2.1% of the states 4.2 million goes online to search for their caffeine fix each month

The second-largest coffee-loving state is Colorado. With a population of 5.7 million, the state of Colorado drinks 852 million cups of coffee every year. The search data reveals that 1.9% of Coloradans head online to look up their nearest coffee spot.

Washington state follows on the list with the third-most online coffee searches, 1.8% of the state’s population searching for java each month, and more than 1.1 billion coffees consumed each year. This is no surprise coming from the state that founded Starbucks.

When searching to find the region that drinks the most coffee, the west coast takes the prize. With three of the top five states having the greatest demand for coffee based on the Pacific, the West Coast is the place they pay homage to the barista. Nowhere more can this be seen than California with the state sipping more than 5.8 billion cups of the steaming beans.

The data was gathered by looking at search volumes against the population and the average amount of coffee consumed per person. Data for this research was collected from worldatlas.com, statista.com, ncausa.org and The United States Census Bureau, Population Division.

To work out the coffee capitals, volumes per state surrounding coffee were researched and were calculated as a percent of the state’s population. Then the height, area, and dimensions of landmarks in the US were looked at; before working out the number of 12oz coffee cups it would take to fill each landmark. Finally, how many times each state could cover each landmark with the number of cups of coffee they consume each year was worked out.

Black Latte is A Tasty Drink

I want to tell you a short story about my journey of losing weight (capsula de slabit).

I am 34 and a month ago I had 165 pounds. I was feeling ugly, my clothes were large and long, I had difficulties in making new friends and I was single.

From drinking 3 cups of coffee per day to drinking one glass of Black Latte

I want to start from the beginning. I love coffee and nothing compares to the cigarette next to it. It was my ritual for years to wake up in the morning and prepare a huge cup of coffee with condensed milk, sugar, syrup, cream and sprinkles.

In case you wondered if that was all of it, the answer is no. After drinking my cup of calories I used to cook an unhealthy (but delicious) breakfast: pancakes with syrup, toast with margarine and one fried egg and some muffins at the top of it.

After eating my breakfast I used to drink one more cup of coffee, and in case I was getting bored during the day, a cup of coffee with chocolate syrup and sugar sprinkles was my treat.

When I remember how awfully I used to eat I wonder how I am not obese.

It was not in my program to start losing weight, even if my self-esteem was low and I didn’t feel pretty at all. I had my food that provided me a high level of dopamine.

But, one day I came across to a forum Black Latte. I read some reviews and people were saying that it has a great taste and it makes you lose weight.

To be honest, what convinced me to buy it was the part with delicious taste, but it turned out to be a perfect replacement for my hypercaloric cup of coffee with cream and sprinkles.

I remember even now that was Wednesday when I started to drink Black Latte. It all started as a game, an experiment through which I wanted to see if I can quit drinking so much coffee.

Black Latte is prepared so easily. All you need is a glass of hot water. Mix 2 spoons of Black Latte with water and that is it.

After I drank it my appetite was low. I didn’t feel the necessity of eating breakfast, but I knew that I had to.

Only when I thought about the amount of sugar from pancakes, the fatness from margarine and the refined flour from muffins it made me feel sick and threw up. So, I started to eat healthy: a fruit (banana, apple, orange, avocado or something else) with oat porridge, boiled eggs with a salad, avocado toast, berry and yogurt smoothies or fruit salad.

After eating my breakfast I didn’t feel the need for a second glass of Black Latte or coffee as in the past.

And that’s how I managed to give up 3 cups of coffee a day.

I started to enjoy my life because of Black Latte

After 15 days I lost 6 pounds.

I wanted to see if other people  had the same results, so I accessed „black latte pareri”. I was impressed because there was people telling that Black Latte has helped them losing 20 pounds in a very short time without making changes in their eating habits.

There is even a Black Latte forum where women are telling their stories with this amazing product.

For me, Black Latte was a miracle. I didn’t want to lose weight because I thought that my life is all right, but it was not.

Now, after a course of 30 days with Black Latte I feel alive. I lost 15 pounds and I started to love myself. I changed my wardrobe, I began eating more vegetables, fruits, fish and steak.

Why I recommend Black Latte?

First of all, Black Latte is 100% natural, with charcoal, dry coconut milk, omega-3 and l-carnitine. It is very safe for your health and besides that, it has an incredible taste.

If you want to make it tastier, you can replace the how water with hot almond milk or other nut milk.

It gives you the feeling of long-term satiety and offers you the motivation to continue eating healthy due to the results that appear very quickly. Personally, it shaped my body very harmoniously and I had full energy every day.

It’s a good product, and without it I probably wouldn’t have been able to make any changes in my life.

Sugarfina Care Packages

Going back to school this year is different from every other year. Instead of loading up on pencils, notebooks, markers and erasers, students are logging into computers every morning to attend virtual versions of their classes. Teachers are also preparing in a way they’ve never had to. Online lesson plans and zero face-to-face contact are making it more difficult for teachers to engage with students.

Sugarfina, a luxury candy store specializing in candy for grown-ups, recognizes that struggle. Accordingly, they have put together care packages for anyone in need of a little bit of sweetness during this time.

The care package includes Sugarfina specialties like Peach Bellini gummies, Birthday Cake Caramels, Rainbow Bears, Pink Sparkle Pops, Cold Brew Bears, Peanut Butter Milkshake malt balls, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels and Ice Cream Cone gummies.

Sugarfina is also giving away one of these care packages every day from August 17 to August 31. They’re encouraging Instagram users to nominate someone deserving of a special treat by posting a video with #TreatItForward.

Scott LaPorta, the CEO of Sugarfina, said Sugarfina was inspired by people sending each other candy during the quarantine period.

“Whether you’re treating a classmate, hard-working teacher, first responder, or fellow homeschool parent, this set is the perfect gift to put a smile on their face,” LaPorta said.

Sugarfina will also take entries into the “Thinking of You Sweepstakes” between August 20 and August 31. Anyone looking to share a $2,500 care package with a loved one can enter right here.

The standard care packages are $24 by themselves or $28 with a hand-written note and are available online or in Sugarfina boutiques.

Savoring the Moment: Five Coffee Rituals from Around the World

Believe it or not, people around the world have their very own quirky or interesting coffee rituals. If you are a fan of coffee, check out how other nations enjoy their favorite hot drink. Here are five of the most interesting coffee rituals from around the world.

Ethiopia

This country loves coffee so much that it has actually been named as the Ethiopians national drink. To make coffee here, first you need to add sugar, followed closely by coffee and hot water. When making a coffee in the home or in a restaurant, three cups are usually made and then each of these servings are named. One example of this is awol, tona, and baarka. In Ethiopian this translates as “to be blessed.”

Italy

Italy is one of the most well-known countries for coffee making and many of the best cups of coffee originate from here. The most popular coffee in Italy is the espresso, which is a single or double shot of coffee usually consumed on its own in a small cup. Usually the Italians drink this while standing too. In Italy, you should not order a coffee late at night, especially a cappuccino. If you were to order one of these while out, it would not be considered the norm, as these should only be enjoyed in the morning according to the Italians.

Turkey

The Turkish love their coffee just as much as the rest of the world and usually serve black coffee after a meal. Just like many of the other countries here, Turks enjoy their coffee strong and it is usually accompanied with a Turkish candy. If you do visit here, be careful of ordering a double shot as the coffee really is strong, especially when compared to the coffee of the U.S. Another tradition in Turkey is reading the coffee grounds once the cup of coffee has been drunk.

France

Coffee and croissants go hand in hand in France and is a popular French breakfast choice. Coffee’s here are usually served in a huge mug and it is polite to hold the mug with two hands. The French also do not like those who order whipped cream on the coffee, or those who order flavored syrups to go in their coffee and in some cafés; this can be seen as an insult. Coffee here is often served after dessert regardless of time.

Spain

One of the most popular coffee drinks in Spain is named cortado. This coffee is based on the famous espresso, but warm milk is then added to the coffee in order to reduce its acidity. Coffee is often drunk at breakfast as well as after siesta. In Spanish, this time after siesta in which the locals drink coffee is called La Merienda and translates to snack time.

Making Your Own Perfect Coffee

If you are a coffee lover, then being able to make the perfect cup of coffee in your own home is essential. Coffee machines have become increasingly popular around the world to help people make a barista style coffee in the comfort of their own kitchen. Nespresso machines are one of the leading brands and these Gourmesso pods come in a variety of flavors. They fit perfectly in Nespresso machines and allow you to make the best coffees without having to visit your local Starbucks.

Each country has a different way in which they consume coffee, and many countries prefer to have their coffees strong and black. This is because farmers take pride in making the best coffee grounds, and these flavors should be appreciated on their own.
